Be very wary of newer made gm products.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

1. When the battery died during the winter cold days we had to jump it from another car. There are just a couple bolts under the hood to attach the jumper cables because the actual battery is in the wheel well. (poor design). After jumping the battery the media center went out with only a back light showing that there power going to the media center. We paid for the full warranty when we bought the vehicle only to be informed that the warranty does not cover the media center and it would cost us 600$ to replace the media center. We now use our cellular devices for a radio. . 2. The braking system should be recalled for this vehicle because we have had the brakes replaced at least four times in the past four years. The rotors get easily warped and the pads wears out easily. 3. The recommended tires we bought for this 'said' vehicle wore out in 3 months. The place we bought the brand new tires told they could not just replace the tires we have to buy new tires and the would be prorated. I really do not think I ever want another american made vehicle again. Too many issues with the newer vehicles.

2012 Chrysler 200, overall great car with a couple of interior issues.

2012 Chrysler 200

The 200 is a very comfortable car and very dependable. I love that the back seat folds down, therefore you can put long things through the trunk to the front of the car. I love projects and use this feature often, probably a couple times a month. I do love the satellite radio, before I had this car I had a 2001 BMW wagon. Needless to say no satellite radio in a 2001 vehicle. The only thing I can say that I do not like about the car is that the door latch inside the car started coming off. It has a chrome layer over it and it would start coming off with a very sharp point. Which in turn would cut anyone opening the door from inside the car on both the drivers and passage doors. There is also a issue with where the window meet the leather ( or vinyl ) the leather has come up. Like you could just pull it and the whole leather would come off the door frame on both front doors. But, other than those couple of issues it has been a great vehicle for me.

2012 Chrysler 200 Touring Sedan

2012 Chrysler 200 Touring

My car has been fairly dependable since I purchased it in late 2015. I haven't had to have too awfully many repairs. I have had, I think, four or five recalls and they were all covered so I paid nothing out of pocket. I replaced the battery about two months after purchasing the car and just recently did so again, so the car has had 2-3 batteries in its lifetime. It gets quite decent mileage per gallon both in town and on the highway. My main complaint about the car is that it accelerates rather slowly. Sometimes lightly touching the gas pedal after being stopped will send you lurching forward with screeching tires and others you will not move for a moment and then the car lunges forward. Also, attempting to merge onto the highway is a challenge because even if I put my whole pedal to the floor, it takes much too long to accelerate. All in all it's a decent vehicle, but it could definitely use some improvements.
