Be very wary of newer made gm products.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

1. When the battery died during the winter cold days we had to jump it from another car. There are just a couple bolts under the hood to attach the jumper cables because the actual battery is in the wheel well. (poor design). After jumping the battery the media center went out with only a back light showing that there power going to the media center. We paid for the full warranty when we bought the vehicle only to be informed that the warranty does not cover the media center and it would cost us 600$ to replace the media center. We now use our cellular devices for a radio. . 2. The braking system should be recalled for this vehicle because we have had the brakes replaced at least four times in the past four years. The rotors get easily warped and the pads wears out easily. 3. The recommended tires we bought for this 'said' vehicle wore out in 3 months. The place we bought the brand new tires told they could not just replace the tires we have to buy new tires and the would be prorated. I really do not think I ever want another american made vehicle again. Too many issues with the newer vehicles.

2012 Chrysler 200: great car with just a couple setbacks.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

I have a recurring problem of check engine light coming on due to an evap sensor leak. One time my dash was warning me about my gas cap. The warning lights may stay on for less than a week before they turn off and appear again about a month later. Headlights are difficult to change since the bumper must be removed which turns a routine replacement into a project. It can get costly paying the dealership to do this service. The Chrysler 200 runs great and has been reliable the 3 years I have owned it. Steering wheel controls for the radio and cruise control are conveniently located. Heat and a/c are necessary with changing seasons so that is a luxury I will never live without. Car handles great in snow.

Dependable but lacks interior detail significantly

2012 Chrysler 200 S

Overall the car is dependable. Standard absolutely mean standard and possibly below. Inside door handles are made of a cheap metal plastic that overtime begins to separate and can cause injury to hands (Cuts). Center console material cracked from heat. Doors have plastic by window controls completely unattached come completely out on both sides while shutting. All issues were done within first 3 years of driving off lot. Gone to dealership they fixed and all re broke shortly following. The car itself hasn't broke down on me once since purchasing though.

The stereo system is phenomenal.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

To be a 2012 model car, I did not expect to have as many problems as I've had. In less than a year of buying, I've had to replace motor mounts, main coolant hose with cap, struts, both thermostats. I am also experiencing trouble starting the car once the motor is warm. However, the car's performance has been excellent. I have not had any major issues with the car. I love the luxury looking interior as well. The stereo system sounds awesome as well, coming from an audio guy. I personally would not buy another one, but I guess I am generally happy with it.

How my Chrysler caught my eye!

2012 Chrysler 200 S

I recently got my Chrysler 200 and I just love it! The inside is a faux leather/cloth interior as well as chrome trim. It is also Bluetooth and has a Sirius Navigation system inside. One of my favorite features would have to be the remote start feature. This allows me to cool off, or warm up, my car without having to be inside the car. This cars gas mileage is 19/29 Hwy, so it does require a little more money for gas than smaller vehicles. My Chrysler also has a 6 cylinder engine, and chrome wheels which allow me to move fast and in style.

I am happy with the choice I made 5 years ago. The heated seats are my favorite.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

It rides nicely and has many additional features that are very convenient. I love the heated seats but would have preferred if they came in cloth instead of leather. The gas mileage is just fair I thought it would be better on the highway. The GPS really comes in handy. It is very roomy and has a large trunk for groceries. The doors and trunk lid are very heavy. I will definitely look at this before buying another car.

Pros & Cons of 2012 Chrysler 200

2012 Chrysler 200 S

There have been more than 5 manufacturer recalls for safety repairs/malfunctions. It's a cheaply made car. It's difficult to do simple repairs I.e. changing the battery requires that you remove the front panel off the car, as it's located in an odd place. Same with the headlights. Gas mileage is okay, comparable to other vehicles.

- Iris C

Small, reliable car. Perfect for city living and riding around with friends.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

very reliable and good gas mileage, however shifter isn't great and wheel bearings had to be changed frequently. Other than that I love it and has an awesome stereo. There are seat warmers which are perfect for winter, and the air conditioning and heat work really quickly. Never had any serious issues with my car.

Chrysler 200 is the way to go!

2012 Chrysler 200 S

I love my car. Its beautiful, luxurious and affordable. It drives like a dream and is very easily maintained. I haven't had to replace many things on it yet and that's been great! I plan on keeping this car for a long time to come and I recommend this vehicle to everyone I talk to about cars!

The Chrysler 200 older not newer version

2012 Chrysler 200 S

Loses radio signal often, good mileage when on road trips, very reliable, had it for almost 7 years now, very roomy, big trunk, has lots of mileage on it from so many road trips, we have enjoyed having this car for as long as it has lasted but hoping to soon trade in for different vehicle

Difficult Design and repairs

2012 Chrysler 200 S

The difficult design makes it hard to do tasks that should be simple to fix and correct, there are many performance issues for example brakes, and there is difficulty repairing issues such as replacing batteries and headlights. Entire parts have to be removed to fix these simple issues.

- Ashley M

Comfortable and reliable vehicle.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

My Chrysler 200 has been a great car for me the last 4 years. Really, only 1 issue And that was having to replace the alternator. Everything else has just been started upkeeps. It's a very comfortable ride. I drove from Austin TX to Colorado and never felt cramped.

Very sporty car for a affordable price

2012 Chrysler 200 S

All and all I love the car. It fast sporty looking, comfortable to drive. Fun to drive . 4 door with two front bucket seats. The stereo has a ton of space to keep 12 radio stations at pre set. Airbags in fronts. Volume controls on the steering wheel. I love this car

- Vanessa O

Very sturdy car, I love that it is a super simple car.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

It has been a really good car, I love the roomy seats in the front and back. Air conditioning and heat works really well. It has heated seats in the passenger and drivers seats. It is a very sturdy car, super reliable as well. Has an auxiliary cord hook up as well.

- Nick T

The Chrysler provides a fabulous sound system which I was in awe for.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

The car is spectacular it includes a high quality backup camera. The car is very smooth when making sharp turns or wide ones. The car provides comfortability. Such as the seats being leather, and the interior being very spacious for the driver and passengers.

- Avi T

Great ride, easy on the wallet

2012 Chrysler 200 S

It has great performance and handling, and is great on gas mileage. The convertible top is however problematic; as the sensors and mechanics are a little finicky. Overall it's a great car that I've reliably driven 30,000+ miles without major issues. Good one

Chrysler 200, nice midsize sedan.

2012 Chrysler 200 S

Nice midsize sedan, works fine for our family of 3. My husband likes to freeze me out so I use the passenger seat warmer year round. Good size trunk space. Our son is now 17 and still has plenty of legroom in the backseat. Gets fairly good gas mileage.

- Rhonda A

Smooth car, reliable nice looking, decent mileage

2012 Chrysler 200 S

Radio keeps breaking, and airbag light never shuts off. Good gas mileage interior has just started peeling other than decent car gets you where you need to be. I don't like the all black interior makes car hotter. Ac could be better not strong enough
