2005 Chrysler 300 that runs very well despite a few annoying issues.

2005 Chrysler 300 300

Overall, this car performs well given its age but there have been some problems that have shown up. My car had a problem with the gear shift that apparently is not only a problem that the older models have but also appears in newer models. Also, there is a bizarre design decision to put the battery in the trunk of the car. This means that if the battery in the car dies you will have to reach it in the trunk. But because the trunk does not have a manual release you'll have to manually unlock the car, climb into the trunk from the back seats and pull on the automatic release in the trunk. It is a very annoying process that takes way too long. In terms of features and comfort the car is quite nice and has a large selection of options for people to choose (heated seats, nice speakers, etc.). Finally, another thing to note is that this car has a very low mpg so that cost should be taken into account.

2005 Chrysler 300 with low gas mileage.

2005 Chrysler 300 300

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is a very reliable car. It currently has low mileage on it, so that could have something to do with it as well. I have never had any issues with it, even in -50 degree weather it still ran. I can get through any amount of snow, and does it with ease. With it is age I have noticed some problems, such as the blinker breaking to where it does not turn off on its own. As well as the oil running out faster than normal. Another thing with this vehicle, is that it has really low gas mileage. I find myself filling up with gas more often than I should need to. The leather interior holds up great, as well as the outside.

14 years and still going!

2005 Chrysler 300 300

I have had my vehicle for about 6 years. The biggest problem I've ever had was when something in the shifter broke and I was not able to move the shifter. With the help of YouTube it was somewhat an easy fix. My air conditioner has not working since I've had it but I manage. It's in desperate need of rotors but still gets me where I need to be.

My vehicle is blue gray and has no modifications. It is The base model.

2005 Chrysler 300 300

So far my Chrysler 300 has been a very reliable car. I bought it used and have had for 2 years, only having minimal problems such as routine maintenance. The gas mileage isn't terrible on it and the acceleration isn't bad either. The motor is strong and the sound system is great. I only dislike the car because it isn't My style.

Issues at, least with older model

2005 Chrysler 300 300

It's a nice and comfortable driving car. Just have had issues with the brakes repeatedly, with the tire rod breaking and messing up multiple tires, the battery light stays on for no reason, and it goes off and on randomly on its on. The air units have fried in unit and knobs do not work. Also oil leaks a lot

I would recommend a 300 to anyone!

2005 Chrysler 300 300

Problems with seatbelt light coming on. Check engine light on due to gas cap. Other than that, I love my Chrysler 300. It has a smooth ride, great to travel in. It is sleek and stylish. I would love to have a newer model. I would recommend this car to anyone. Definitely not your grandma's car!

Large spacious design with luxury in mind

2005 Chrysler 300 300

Gas pedal moves forward which is great because I do not have the steaming wheel so close with the seat all the way to the front. Also the steering wheel adjust outward not just up and down. Super roomie backseat and an extra large trunk. The leather is good quality as it is still in great condition!

My Chrysler 300 needs some mechanical work and then it is a very good car.

2005 Chrysler 300 300

It is not running right now due to an accident. And also the reverse is out and the heater does not work. I hit a deer so it needs a front headlight. Interior is still good. Once it is fixed it is still a good car. No rips or tears in the seats or carpet. Interior is grey.

Older Chrysler 300 - 2005

2005 Chrysler 300 300

It's an older car and was given to us second hand. I personally prefer a smaller car, and find it hard to see out of all the windows since I am only 5 feet tall. The car gives a smooth drive but being an older car, requires a lot of upkeep and work to keep it running well.
