The Chrysler Pacifica is definitely a great minivan it is reliable, convenient and spacious for anybody looking for a new family vehicle. The size of the vehicle and the features are definitely an asset .
I really like my minivan , mostly because it is spacious. I also really enjoy the features that come with the vehicle as well as the add ons. My only complaint is that is is old and I need a new one .

You get great gas mileage with a Pacifica.
I love the way it handles when I drive. Also I love the storage, the easy way you can let the seats up and down and in and out. The gas mileage is great.

It's all wheel drive and a reliable vehicle i would definitely recommend Chrysler
I love the vehicle the only thing I don't like is it doesnt have alot of technology but it's also an older model

The DVD player, seat warmers and fold down seats make this vehicle great.
The Chrysler Pacifica is a very dependable vehicle. It seats seven, so it is very useful for family trips and carpooling. The back and middle seats go all the way down, so makes it easy to transport groceries and even certain furniture if need be. It also contains a DVD screen to keep children happy in the back seat for long outings.

Great gas mileage and tons of room! Drives nice, fits a lot of stuff.
I like the size. I like the features. I like that it drives like a SUV

My vehicle is an amazing family vehicle. I.
I haven't had any major problems with my car. Just the typical maintenance like oil changes, brakes. I bought my car used, so it came with a few minor issues. It gets great gas mileage as well. If I had to do it over again I would buy this car again. I absolutely love it.

It's my adventure mobile. It may be a van that you would think belongs to a soccer mom, but it is my camping mobile. It has been all over the eastern seaboard, with my and my girlfriend living out of it for weeks, and it never lets us down. The Chrysler Pacifica is more than just a family van.
My 2008 Pacifica is a great car. It is very reliable and I've never had any MAJOR problems. I've had to replace the battery once, and the catalytic converter went out this month, but it is 10 years old. The car still has great power and no problem going up hills or getting up to speed. The seats are comfortable, and the car is equipped with bluetooth calling, just not bluetooth music playing.

Very comfortable and smooth.
I have no problems at all with my car. Rides very smooth, great space for the family and not to mention great space for moving things as well! Very comfortable car that is also great on gas so you can easily make road trips anywhere with no problem at all with whomever!

Lots of problems with pacifica overall is what I've read in reviews wish I would've read those before purchasing this piece of junk
It's been a headache since we've bought it from car dealership....probably stuck a good 4000$ into it.

Gas guzzling cars s**k even more had to put 6k$ into car
Sucks horrible car i hate it and selling it asap ehh

I have no additional comments. Thank you.
We purchased this used vehicle approx. 4 years ago w/no issues. Now because it is an older vehicle (10 years+) it is beginning to have multiple issues. The front end needs work done, tires replaced, brakes replaced, and other issues need to be taken care of.

Chrysler Pacifica is like a minivan SUV
The car has constant problems with the electrical sensors constantly going off. The engine light and tire sensors go on in wet weather even when nothing is wrong. And you cannot get a sticker if the engine light is on even though nothing is wrong. The trunk has a great amount of space however and the car is roomy

It can get me and my kids to where we need to get too
Just not really my style, It's more live a van and i don't like vans but other then that it seems to work good and has great seating
accountCircle Jessie B
It is big, so it eats gas really quickly.
It is has lots of space for my children. It has plenty of trunk space. However, it is expensive to fill up the tank. It also, has problems with the a/c.
accountCircle Star S
Only ok, would not buy again.
Transmission is having lots of issues, was told it happens with this car and a new transmission is more then the car is worth.

Basic Family Van Suitable for Large Family
It suits my family's needs fairly well. It's not fancy or revolutionary but it performs reliably and allows us to go about our daily lives.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Elizabeth T.

My pacifica is a great car. It is both roomy and comfortable, even when on a long trip and having to tote extras like mobility devices for grandma. Drives smoothly and quietly. Easy to load and unload.

likeFilled Coryn H.

It has a lot of space throughout the car and it does really good on gas so it would be a good vehicle to take trips in. It also has a built in TV in the ceiling that my son loves to watch his movies on.

likeFilled Renee K.

Three rows with the back two rows able to fold down for plenty of space if needed. CD and cassette compatibility. Electric seat controls and two seat position memory. Heated seats for the front. All-wheel drive and handles sharp turns smoothly.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Elizabeth T.

I have had my pacifica for a little over two years now, and I can honestly say that I have not found anything to complain about. I get very good mileage for what I consider to be a 'larger' car. There's plenty of room in it and it rides great.

dislikeFilled Coryn H.

In order to open the back hatch you must have power to the vehicle since it is automatic so if your battery dies you are not able to access the trunk from the back, you have to climb through the car to reach the trunk.

dislikeFilled Renee K.

No sunroof. In order to get to the back row the second row needs to be put down first. If the back rows are in the upright position there is limited trunk space. Wind guard and fog lights can fall off fairly easily if you live in an area with extremely bumpy road conditions.

Yes it is a good vehicle that works well and has little issues. Good customer support if I do need something fixed.

This has been a good vehicle overall. I have had to replace engine mounts twice on it. But it runs well, is comfortable and very reliable.
Roger M.
It is a very reliable, great vehicle. Sometimes it gives me issues, needing more oil changes that I think necessary, but overall a good car.
Andrew T.

How Reliable Is The 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?

It is reliable. It gets me from place to another place and it does not have a lot of issues. The car does have trouble starting sometimes.
Jacob C.
It has been very reliable. Problems have only been with engine mounts having to be replaced twice now.
Roger M.
Although it is mostly reliable, it has a few issues with burning through oil and gas very quickly and requiring frequent oil changes. Not a huge problem, but can be inconvenient at times
Kayla S.

Is The 2008 Chrysler Pacifica A Good Value?

I cannot remember how much it cost but I do believe that it has good value. It has lasted over ten years doing very well so far.

Brand new it cost $30k+. It was a good value at that time as it has a moonroof, leather seats, lumbar.
Roger M.
Monthly, I pay around $294 for the lease to own vehicle, which is a very good value for the model and year of the car.
