Chrysler Pacifica: Not Your Usual Minivan
2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L
First of all, this is my first minivan so I had some misgivings about what a minivan is like. This one does not handle how I imagined a minivan would. It has an amazing turning radius, does not take long to accelerate to 60, and is an incredibly smooth ride. I haven't ridden in the back but my passengers back there say it is very comfortable. The van has amazing storage - the trunk in the back is deep and holds a surprising amount. Additionally, it's really easy to put the seats down to extend the storage space. I haven't had any issues since buying the car in August, but I will say one thing that is a curse (and blessing) is the auto shut-off of the engine. This saves gas and wear and tear on the car, but it's frustrating to have the car power down when you're in traffic. I find myself frequently turning that function off so I don't lose precious seconds making a decision in heavy traffic. Other than that, I've been so impressed with the van that I would definitely consider buying a Chrysler for my next car.
