Glitchy key fobs but smooth ride.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

Trustworthy car with good mileage. Key fobs do not work when parked in busy lots. In order to unlock the car when key fob isn't working, I have to jiggle the key in the lock until the locks fully go up. Surprisingly good in snow, but except snow & ice tend build up behind front tires causing turns to be difficult. My car does not like to immediately go when there is snow, so stops are difficult no matter the surface or angle. Low riding pt cruisers are not recommended for snow as they become a mini plow (not a good plow), and any deep pot hole or steep turn will scrape the front bumper. Cruiser is an easy drive with crisp stereo and nice leather heated seats.

The PT Cruiser is reliable and roomy. Easy to drive and very practical.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

the 2001 PT Cruiser has been a great car. It's 18 years old now so repairs are more frequent but it still runs well. It's not luxurious seats could be more comfortable. It's not great to drive in snow or rain but it is reliable otherwise. Parts aren't terribly expensive to replacer and it's easy to work on. I was able to replace the tail lights myself very easily and quickly so it saved me a good deal of time and money. It sits up higher than most sedans and back seats fold down so with hatchback type rear door it can hold a large amount for transporting.

Dreamy yellow pt cruiser!

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

This is a good car, which I bought used for a good price. It is the dream version. The color is hideous though, it looks very ugly! It runs pretty good and does not have many miles on it for as old as it is. It does not like to idle for long, so I think it needs a thermostat because there is plenty of coolant but it starts to overheat. It has a lovely sunroof too. But I do not like how the window buttons for the back seat are almost on the floor instead of on the door. Also it is a plastic body so every bump sounds like it is going to fall apart.

I like how it is a car but has siv features like the big open trunk

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

My pt cruiser isn't the prettiest body wise but it goes to point a and b. It seems like every 6 months it needs work done and it turning into a money pit. It is silver 4 door the driver side mirror is missing because I hit a pole. Also when the car is turned off it still recognizes that the key is in the ignition so I'm not sure if its an electrical problem or not. Last the shifter is junk I have a super hard time getting it into gear if I don't drive for a couple days other than that I guess I love it

special area for your leg room as well as the passengers in the back.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

It is the best vehicle I have ever owned. The PT Cruiser is roomy and economical. The engine is very good on gas and the capacity for storage is excellent where is that the seats in the back of the vehicle can be pulled out and rolled into storage. All the back in the trunk location has a lot of room for groceries or even a futon, I know I purchased one and hauled it in the back. The shelf in the back is multi function also, because it doubles as a plant shelf to carry potted plants.

Perfect size but overheats too much

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

The size is perfect. Inside is spacious and it's not bulky looking. And when it's not bubbling and smoking it runs good. The electrical has gone out in inside. The headlights are so dim they're useless. Stereo is average. Its constantly leaking water from reservoir and oil light is always on. If it's hot you can't drive to more than one place without it going in the red.

My PT cruiser is reliable and fun to drive

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

The vehicle is very reliable. It's very old but has only needed regular maintenance. I get great gas mileage. It is however pretty small. Only four people can ride in it and leg room for the backseat passengers is limited. I can carry several grocery bags, but nothing larger than that. When I bought a new smart TV, it wouldn't fit in my car.

Why I really love my pt cruiser.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

Some problems because of age of the car, parts are starting to wear out. Very reliable. The only time it wouldn't start was with wind chills at 50 below zero after have sat for a day. Gets good gas mileage. Size of the vehicle is perfect for me. Added some features, back up camera and auto start for my convenience.

The car that will not stop driving.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

The car is very old and has been through 4 drivers now and is running on 112,000 miles. Still going! The main downside is maintenance is hard and expensive due to lack of available parts for the model and narrow design of the hood (making it nearly impossible to work on the engine without removing the whole front).

My car is purple, it's one of the few cars I've seen on the road in this color.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

Love the shape and color, runs nice but because it's 18 years old it has some cosmetic damage as far as r hating and broken handles. She needs new struts and brakes, and there's a nice sized crack in the windshield. Overall it's a nice car they just need maintenance pretty often just like any other vehicle.

- Breanna W

The pt cruiser is compact for parking. It also handles well on the road!

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

The pt cruiser I have is my best vehicle yet! I enjoy the shelf in the trunk for easy under and over storage for groceries and kids toys alike! Its removable for putting in big stuff like rakes for my garden. The shelf also turns into a table for picnics at the park! Easy tailgating!

2001 silver with sunroof pt cruiser pt cruiser.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

A 2001 pt cruiser is silver, runs good, has oil leak, seals are broken in the doors and windows, the car vibrates a lot, the seatbelts malfunction. The vehicle runs well at the moment there is a hundred and eighty-nine thousand miles on it, and it comes with a sunroof that opens.

- Melissa W

A decent personal car, but you could get something better. Leather seats

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

Heavier than expected. Technically a light truck. Front heavy, prone to front suspension and steering problems. It's okay for getting around town but not much else at the moment. My factory spare tire does not hold enough air to be used. Rear windshield wiper is a plus

- Dylan A

The 2001 pt cruiser had some issues but overall is a good little vehicle

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

This year had a lot of recalls. Had to replace the whole suspension, had to replace the radiator and thermostat. But still has issues with overheating but gets good gas mileage. Is very roomy and comfortable. It has a lot of storage and or carry on room in the hatch.

- Jason R

My vehicle gets me where I need to go. I don't love it but it's not horrible

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

Very comfortable, but very small. Runs well only some rust and turn signal barely works. 4 doors, gray with a sunroof. Big hatch in the back to store things. Gets cluttered very easily. Dislike how the back windows only go halfway down. Good car for a new driver.

- Shelby S

Its spacious, yet compact to drive around or park.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

The gear shift no longer lights up, so it makes it harder to see what gear I have the car in during the night hours. Sometimes it shifts itself into neutral, so I have to pull over to start the car again. Sometimes putting the car into drive it does not move.

- Edna A

Reliable, dependable and spacious.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

I enjoy my Chrysler PT Cruiser. It's reliable and gets me to where I need to go. The seats are comfortable and it fits both of my kids in the back seat comfortably. The trunk space is nice too, plenty of room to store things. It's reliable and spacious.

- Ashley A

We all love to drive this car

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wgn

Love the car! It's fun to drive... there is lots of headroom and plenty of space to carry your stuff. The seats going down allows you to carry things that other cars can't. We have had no major problems. With the mechanics. Of the vehicle at this time.
