It is got good gas mileage, and is comfortable to drive. My son like it because it is called an avenger, it is got a good turning radius and a smooth drive, during road trips the leg room is nice. The steering wheel has controls for the radio which is a feature I use a lot.
This is a blacktop edition. So it looks very nice with the rims and spoiler. It is a reliable vehicle. It drives good even in the snow. It has plenty of room for a single person or a family. It has five seats and a large trunk for groceries.
Reliable, fast, loud speakers, lots of space. Easy to drive, luxury, easy to clean. Not a lot of maintenance needed to upkeep. Not a very pricey car at all, parts are fairly affordable and easy to find. Not a lot of avengers on the market anymore considering it is no longer made.
It has to be spacious. It has to have good gas mileage. It has to have LED tail lights. The brighter the better. Must have minimal blind spots. It has to have comfortable seats. Preferably cloth seats.
Has been very reliable with a smooth drive. It has not had any major mechanical issue. Know that it is 6 years old it still looks sharp and stands up to other sporty sedans. It is too bad that 2014 was the last year the cat was produced.
Safety features, roomy backseat, two gloves boxes, large trunk,a lot of storage, CD player, cigarette lighter, four cup holders, moveable armrest with two armrest containers, change holder and organizer and good fuel mileage.
The vehicle is very roomy. It's a very smooth ride. It is great on gas. The speakers are great. The trunk space is massive. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone that is looking for luxury, space and something to work great with kids.
It is a. Average car really. Good gas mileage so far just routine repairs and maintenance. It has one really bad blind spot for me but may be because I am short. I personally love the color of my car. I bought mine used and there does not seem to have been any hidden issues with it and nothing to fix until after it turned 5 years old.
I really cannot think of any. It is a pain in the butt to change the battery, but other than that I have really enjoyed my car, typically I drive SUVs but the roominess of this car is pretty comparable.
It is a 4 cylinder. So when driving in the mountains there is some lag. This is the last model, they quit making my vehicle. So now the resale value is not as high as it should be. There have been a few recalls on this model also.
Not always a lot to complain about, there's a very few amount of mechanical problems, some kind of fan or something constantly knocks when the car is unlocked, or when the air conditioner is turned to the lowest temperature. Otherwise it just takes a moment to warm up in the mornings, seats are hard to get stains out of.
There's really nothing wrong with my current vehicle. I would prefer a nicer stereo system, but it does have multiple spaces to put multiple speakers so that is a good thing. It does have a little bit of a blind spot and it is not the best but it is something to get used to.
The biggest issue is that I think there is a blind spot on the driver's side when you are looking for other vehicles. I have to use the rear view mirror and taking a glance to make sure there are no other vehicles.
Rusting at bottom of doors, peeling at top of spoiler, roof fabric is loose in a few places, satellite radio does not work, the air for the tires dings repeatedly with every little weather change, and the seat belts don't always go up on their own.
I really have no complaints about this vehicle. It has been a great car since the day I got it. I bought it new off of the lot and I have had it now for six years and the only issue I have had is the brake light will come on for no reason. It has done this since day one. But this is not an issue that you are going to run across with each and every avenger.
Blind spot that makes it hard to see when backing out of a parking place or sometimes just switching from one lane to the other. It is on both sides. It seems like the shape of the car made it to wide towards the back seat and you really just cannot see around it even with nothing else in the way.
The 2014 Dodge Avenger has an average owner rating of 4.13 out of 5 which ranks it #13 of 14 other Midsize Cars.
