This car is great on the eyes but once 1 small problem occurs it's like everything from the seat down messed up. The alternator seems to be a real issue and don't plan on taking it for long road trips. Serviced or not you won't make it. The windows don't seem to be air tight when door is shut. Leaks from windshield.

Tire gauges are a little wonky, but other than that it works great!
My vehicle is a dodge avenger 2013. I feel that it is very reliable. The only issue I have noticed is the that tire gauges are off here and there. This does not actually inhibit the performance of the vehicle though. Therefore, other than the tire gauges, the car works great.

2013 dodge avenger is overall reliable once any initial issues have been managed.
It is very comfortable and easy to drive. I had issues with the engine overheating and it caused a problem that led to multiple parts having to be replaced. Nothing I did caused this, apparently it is a common problem with this car. The features are all user friendly.

The vehicle is a basic car for your daily routine. It's practically the Honda of America safe, reliable and efficient. One problem was the headrest safety feature meant to prevent whiplash tends to deploy on both seats and needs to be replaced by the company recall procedures.

Eye-catching car with beautiful detailing.
This car is very petite and nice for a driver who does not want anything too big. It has good seating room and the seats are comfortable. I have never had any real problems since I have bought this car. All in all it is a really good car for beginners or someone who just wants a small car.

Some mechanical issues, overall comfort is good.
I have had some issues with my vehicle with my coolant system, (clogged radiator, bad thermostat) had to have my whole heating and air system redone, the car does not have a lot of get up, struggles on hills. The interior is spacious, plenty of room in the backseat, the trunk is a good size, and the speakers are loud.

My avenger has started to cut out ever since 70k miles.
The dodge avenger is a great car for the price of it. Mine has about 70k miles on it now, and still runs very well. My father does take very good care of it, as he was previously a mechanic, so if you keep up with taking care of the car, then its a quality car.

The reliable dodge avenger.
I have found this to be a very reliable vehicle. Since it is seven years old, some parts have had to be replaced (probably the original parts). But for the most part, it has not required a tremendous amount of maintenance. It gets good gas mileage and runs well. It is also comfortable to be in. Since the model has been discontinued, I would recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable used car.

My dodge avenger is a great, reliable, everyday car.
The car has a very smooth ride. However, ever since I bought it I have a had a multitude of tire complications. I have had to replace every single tire. Other than that, it looks very nice and is very spacious. It rides nice, has a nice radio and speaker system, and it is comfortable to drive.

Really good on gas, a little iffy in the snow. Definitely a nice riding car, interior is very comfortable. Headlights are amazing, same with the stereo system. Sometimes it has a slip in the engine not sure if that is just mine or a factory default. Heated seats, heated cup holders, automatic windows / seats.

I just love the car but it does not get enough speed or space. Sometimes the car take a long time to get ready to start up. Than when it do get ready it just stops working. But other than that I do not have any problems with this car anymore because it is not going back to the shop.

Love my car and wouldn't trade it.
My avenger burns oil really quickly. The mechanic told my husband as well as myself that it is a manufacturer defect. The mechanic said that the manufacturer should be putting out a recall soon. The performance is amazing and besides the oil problem I would rely on it to go anywhere.

I am very happy with my dodge avenger. It is a comfortable, reliable vehicle with good gas mileage. It has required recent repairs that have been costly and the wheel often locks and takes several minutes to turn the key to start the ignition. These are the first major repairs in the five years I have had the car.

I personally have ran into nothing but problems with my vehicle. One month into owning it, the alternator went out. Three alternators later, it seems to be okay. But then another problem arises. I prefer to own a car that does not break down all the time, but that might just be me lmao.

It looks like a baby charger kind of.
The car drives well but the gas mileage especially for a 4 cylinder engine is not the greatest, around 16-20 mpg. The car itself feels rather slow and heavy but that is probably due to the weak 4 cylinder engine. It is also had many minor problems such as the battery dying, alternator dying, headlights randomly going out and tire pressure issues.

I only have 2 issues with the vehicle. Location of the battery, and I wish it had a little more power. It gets good gas mileage, drives very easily, and is a very comfortable ride. The driver seat moves up, down, forward, and backward. The trunk also has plenty of space.

What surprised me the most is how well it runs on gas. With how often gas prices go up it is so important to have a vehicle that doesn't burn out gas easily thus saving you money.

Dodge avenger the best car I have ever owned! You should own one tok!
My car is absolutely wonderful! I drive a lot and have put a ton of miles on it, but it is still going strong! I just recently changed the alternator. Other than that it is been perfect! I know they have been known to have air conditioning problems, but mine blows ice cold. The only problem I have bhadeen the alternator. Seriously the best car I have had! Not to mention it looks great too!

Blue 2013 dodge avenger. Worst model yet.
The battery is in a very odd place. It is really low underneath by the tire. It is very hard to replace. It is a smaller vehicle not recommended for big families that have more than a couple of kids. I do not think they drive very smooth. Out of dodge vehicles this is by far their worst model. Best part is the trunk space.

A wonderful, reliable family car.
We have had problems with the ac multiple times, as well as a leak in coolant. The seats are very comfortable and we like that it is bigger in size so we can all comfortably fit. The overall performance of the car has been great, aside from the issues stated above. We love that the trunk is very big. Great car overall, drives smooth has good amount of room, and is easy to work on.
I love my dodge avenger, it drives smooth, has a decent amount or room especially in the trunk and it is fairly easy to work on. So far the only issues I have had has been the peeling of the fake chrome plating on the inside door handles, and I cannot get the bluetooth in the factory stereo system to work, despite following the owner's manual for it. Lastly, the plastic for the center console button to open and close the separate compartments seems pretty cheap and fell off.

Not the most reliable car.
Dodge avengers have pro and cons of course, like any car but currently I have been dealing with nothing but cons. The car has need a start up switch twice and I have replaced the alternator as well as the battery. I would say it's not the most reliable car but it'll do.

I have had a drive into work of over an hour, and never had an issue with the car. I am a bigger guy and it provides enough space for me to ride comfortably, which was one of the biggest reasons that I even started to look at buying this car.

Dodge is okay. Great for a starter car, or first car to pay off on one's own.
Coolant issues. Have to constantly make sure hose is connected. There always seems to be an electrical. Issue. My passenger window does not always go back up once it is down during the winter. That same side I also had an issue with my headlight fuse blowing and almost melting.

Constant reliability problems, parts not lasting, I have had to replace many features that decided to break down to early. Performance was nice and it had some speed. I have had many mechanical problems that were ridiculously too expensive to fix. There is also a constant heating issue, with the engine that causes many other problems to occur easier.

Pros and cons of a dodge avenger as a daily drive for work.
I get good gas mileage, and it is reliable. My biggest issue is the transmission. It is sealed, so you cannot just simply check the transmission fluid. I have also had issue with the transmission fluid sensor. The sensor causes rough shifting within the vehicle. As far as a daily driver, it is dependable for commuting to work and home.

Perks of having a dodge avenger.
It's a good car, spacious, good on gas, good for commute although all cars have their issues my car has lasted me so far. Even though I have had issues with it at time, they have all been completely fixable, it hasn't gotten to the point where it's beyond repair, so I do not have complaints.

Family loves the color of our car. We went on several road trips in our car.
Hydro planes to much on wet roads. Goes terrible in snow. Not a lot of go power when you need it. Rides rough, the back seats are not comfortable for a full grown adult. The alignment was off from factory and it was eating tires. Front rotors were warped from factory. Oil pan was leaking from factory, all in all it was a poorly built car.

It is really good on gas, so I am not shoveling money into it constantly. The brakes could be stronger, my brake lines have broken twice now and I hate that. I haven't had many problems with the car. The only think that I can think of is the heater went out on one side, I believe that it was the actuator that was the issue. Overall it is a really good car maybe for a college student to start out with. I had to replace the thermostat housing also.

Beautiful, reliable and fast.
When I first bought the car it was a used car and within the first month I had to have the throttle home replaced but I have had my car for about 2 years now and have never had any other problems with it. Very beautiful looking on the outside and the inside. Drives smooth and has an amazing sound system if you like bass. You do not have to push too hard or too light on the breaks and there is a lot of space for storage! Overall I would recommend this car to anybody.

2013 dodge avenger, a great car.
It's a red dodge avenger. It runs good but rusts quickly underneath. I don't think it has anything to do with the car, it has to do with the weather here. It accelerates fast and efficient. The trunk is very large and the back seat is spacious which is why we chose it.

Review of my 2013 dodge avenger.
I like the look of my avenger and it drives pretty well, fairly smooth and quiet. I have two main complaints about it: 1st, it doesn't have as much power as I would like when going uphill. 2nd, and of most concern to me, is that it doesn't have good visibility through the rear side windows, making it very difficult to check for other vehicles when changing lanes after passing a car or backing out of parking spaces.

Perfect for a family of 5.
We 've had this car for a while now, and it has been a great car especially to share amongst the family. There are three girls in college, so this car has gone through a lot. However, we 've only had issues with the brakes for the most part. We have had it taken care of a couple times, but it has not been too big of a deal. I would say if I had to change anything, it would be the fact that it does not connect to Bluetooth. This could be because of the year it was made, but it was an easy fix to find a solution! Overall, the car is comfortable and reliable.

A great car, very reliable.
My dodge avenger performs very well for my less than 5 mile commute to work and occasional 200 plus mile commutes. The only issues I have consistently with it is a ticking sound when I turn on the air and the shifting on hills can sometimes be worrisome. Other than that, the car has been completely reliable and I have never had a major issue with it. I have had it for about 6 months and put about 5k miles on it.

Very well performing sedan.
My dodge avenger has lasted me almost seven years and I love the car. It was my first car out of high school and it has lasted me so long. The performance is amazing, having a bigger engine than the original one makes a big difference in speed. The only downside to having a bigger motor is that the gas consumption is much more.

Great car for a small family!
I really enjoy owning my 2013 dodge avenger se. It gets decent gas mileage, has a lot of space, and is built very sturdy. I feel safe driving my toddler around it and like how easily I can install and remove her car seat in the avenger compared to the other vehicles I have driven her in. Dodge makes a good quality car!
I really love my car. This is the newest and safest vehicle I have ever had and she has been an absolute blessing to me and my family. I have now had her for a little over 3 years and have had very little issues with her. When I first bought her as is with a three month warranty I had to get them to replace the head gasket within those 3 months but she has ran fine since till last December when the PCN brain blew out. That was a nasty repair bill too. And just last month I had to have thermostats replaced and my coolant system flushed. That is all the major repairs I have had to do. But with regular upkeep and maintenance on her and she runs like a champ. She is comfortable to ride long distances in and she is very Spanish. She has plenty of storage compartments in the front but not a whole lot in the back. Ultimately I would definitely recommend the dodge brand to anybody and really it wouldn't matter which kind you that they are all good cars and my boyfriend says they are easy to work on more so than a lot of other cars on the market right now.

Yes i have the 4 cyl avenger...se....nice car...fun to drive...powerful little 4 cyl...2.4ltr(rather large for 4 cyl)...has acceptable hp but low torque...but high final gear ratio...that helps move the car as fast as it does.....its not the v6....but think of it this way---->..you could have a 1970 cuda with the 440 six pack, or hemi....or u could have a cuda with a 340 v8....now...the 440 will get u into low 13's at the track in 1/4 mile run...the 340 will put u in the low 14's....now...both are fast....14;s are very respectful....13;s are much faster!....id be pretty happy with low 14's....of course, neither one of these engines will be that powerful operating a dodge avenger, but im making a comparison report

The amazing dodge avenger.
I've had my dodge avenger since 2013 and I have loved it every day since purchase. It is good on city mileage as well as highway mileage. I have driven it from Memphis, TN to Jackson, ms on numerous occasions as well as to Atlanta, ga. Also is good as everyday use car I used it everyday to drive to school as well as work. The only problems I have had have been on my own wrecks and small mishaps. It has been very reliable.

I like my vehicle because it has the ability to accelerate to fast speeds in a short amount of time. One thing I dislike about my vehicle is the size of the body. I am used to smaller vehicles and the body of the avenger is larger. However, since the vehicle is larger, the inside is roomy.

Great, sleek, budget car.
Love this car. Has a great sound system and keyless entry. The only problem is I have to go inside the car to hit the trunk release. It has tire pressure monitors, abs, and informs you the gas cap isn't sealed. It will even tell you when the oil needs to be changed.

Great car on gas mileage, the car is very comfortable to drive around or sit passenger in. Back seats are very spacious and comfortable to sit in. I have not had any mechanical or electrical issues yet so far, been driving the car for a year now. Truck is very large, fits a lot of stuff. Only problem I have found with the dodge avenger is when I am reverse or backing out of a parking space the car has bad blind spots due to a bully design.

You can control the radio stations and volume from the steering wheel.
My vehicle drives well it's good on gas and the features that come with it are very reliable and useful. The only problem that you may have to watch out for are the CV joint in the ignition switch but as long as you keep up on those you're good to go. Also maintaining good maintenance on this vehicle keeps it running for a very long time.

Great gas mileage and reliable.
The only issue had with my vehicle was a manufacturing issue with the exhaust system. This was covered by a factory recall and fixed for free. I get great gas mileage and the ride is very smooth. I used to travel work so this came in very handy and saved me a lot of money of the road. I have the 4 cylinder engine, but it still takes off pretty quick. Standard oil changes have been affordable. I have had this car for about 2 years now with over 115,000 miles and is still in great condition. The trunk space is actually pretty large for it being a car. If you are looking for reliable car that gets good gas mileage, I would recommend looking into this vehicle.

Avenger or revenge surprisingly not the latter.
This vehicle has not seemed to have many problems as of yet. Since having it for two years I have had to replace the brakes, alternator, and a few other small tune up issues. There has also been two recalls, one being the catalytic converter. It is not the best on gas mileage, but also not the worst(around 22) miles to the gallon. Overall a decent car.

It is a very average car with very average things to offer.
It was a really good car when I first bought it in 2013 with only 30,000 miles on it. Since then I have had quite a bit of things to fix but it now has over 150,000 miles. I do have the v6 option and it does not get good gas mileage at all. If you are wanting something that is fuel efficient this is not the best option to go with. In the city I barely make 20 mpg and many times I do not if I am on a lot of side streets. Some things are cheaply made but if you find one in good condition with low miles it would be a good school car or first car for a teen.

Avenger problems: squeaky brakes.
One problem that I have encountered was about after two years of owning the avenger, the brakes began to squeak. Especially in the winter. However, there is nothing wrong with the breaks. It is just an error in the model. Also, about after 5 years of having the avenger, the ac fan makes a clunking noise when I first turn it on. Other than that, I love the car.

I really like my vehicle. I have not have many problems since owning my car, only small, minor things. Great gas mileage, smooth ride. I have lots of miles on my car because I drive a good distance to work and its very dependable.

A reliable and good looking car!
My vehicle is fairly new with low mileage and very good space. It is comfortable and reliable and it gets good gas mileage. It has power windows with heat and air conditioning. It has a radio with a CD player and adjustments to controls on the steering wheel.

It is expensive to fix if something goes wrong with parts.
I love the style. I love the comfort and room that it has. I also love the features. I dislike that it doesn't have a screen. I dislike that the gas mileage isn't as great as my last car. I also dislike that it is expensive to fix.

My car always rides very smooth. The interior is very crisp and clean looking.
I have owned my Dodge Avenger for roughly 5 years. I can say I have not encountered anything MAJOR, although there have been a couple of issues. There was a malfunction in the security system that was covered by the warrant I had at the time. Since then, I have replaced a radiator hose, alternator, and starter. Definitely have a warrant on this vehicle for as long as you can.

2013 dodge avenger perks...
Spacious interior provides comfortable road trips off red just weekend getaways. Love the smooth ride of the vehicle and the horsepower behind the engine. Great gas mileage for everyday use and all the extras. Loads of features provide a great luxury feel to the vehicle as well.

The car itself is great drive good. Barely have problems and if I do it tired brakes simple things this is my 2nd Dodge Avenger if you like Dodge I would say try the Avengers. It is enough space.

Wonderful, reliable , safe
Very good car for it being 6 years old. Nothing really wrong with it be keeping up with me and my travels for work. Very first car and a very good choice I would say. If anybody's looking for a good first car this is it. I hope you like it as much as I do

2013 Dodge Avenger critique.
Had to replace all 4 tires 2 years after purchasing brand new. Had to replace breaks 5 years after purchase. Interior fake chrome has peeled off of door handles. The car shakes when it is driving between 65 and 70 miles per hour. Great gas mileage. Great space for traveling and transporting groceries.

Vehicle has great design inside & out! Attractive vehicle.
I pretty much love my car. I haven't had any real issues with it except the airbag coming on which (was on recall) and fixed. Good mileage, runs good, drives well. I have had my car 4 years and have not had any problems with it. Great vehicle to own.

This type of vehicle is very gas economic and the a/c is very good
I like the car but the only thing is that i can't find the fuses to change some cause i have like a year that i can't use my car charger. One more thing the trunk is way too small for my use.

I love it. But there are a few things I wish I knew.
I love how sporty my car is, but it is not made with convenience in mind. For example, the battery is under the wheel, which has to be removed if you want to change the battery or do any kind of maintenance. I also do not like how easy it is to get road rash on the front bumper. It is so low to the ground that it is a trade off, but I wish it wasn't so easy to get road rash.

Dependable and great on gas.
I love the 2013 Dodge Avenger because it is a gas saver. Love the way the ride is, it hugs the road while on the interstate it does not feel like a heavy vehicle to drive, easy to maneuver.

Fun car, tons of repairs.
Transmission went out in 60,000 miles, unheard of issue I was told. The car is about 90,000 miles old now and feels very old. It handles well, and if you have an original transmission it runs fine as well. I recommend for people looking for a larger, more sport styled sedan. It has a powerful engine for how light the car itself it is.

Very nice, compact sedan with great mileage.
Very comfortable car very. Very comfortable car with great mileage. Its a v4 though so very little power. Radio is nice but no Bluetooth connectivity. Great for long trips. The key fob barely works, you have to press the button multiple times and even then sometimes it just does not work.

I have only had one problem, alternator went out, dealer inspected all electrical, determined that it had bad alternator and was fixed under warranty.

2013 dodge avenger review.
The dodge avenger is a very reliable car. I drive a lot and it has never ever let me down. It is a very eye-catching car, very comfortable, and safe car. Although it is not up to date on any of the touch screen, back up cameras, or blind spot warnings, it is a very good first car.

Unfortunate battery placement.
It is a reliable car. I wish there were different accessories available in the car. The battery is in a very unfortunate spot. You need to take off the front driver side wheel and take off the plastic border to get to the battery. Gas mileage is not very good.

Dodge is an ok car but won't buy again.
It's an ok car. Not much room inside. Good with gas. Has giving me problem with abs sensors and brake pads. But other then that is a good car.

Reliable, affordable, comfortable and simple.
It is reliable with little to no issues other than basic/standard upkeep for the past five years. It is also comfortable and decent sized for a car, the parts are super affordable to replace and I get excellent fuel mileage in city or the highway. Overall it is a reliant and great vehicle.

Dodge Avenger comfort and reliability.
The Dodge Avenger is a comfortable family car. It has a smooth ride and I haven't had any problems with this car. I have only had a Dodge one other time and wasn't happy with it and never thought I would purchase one again but I was pleasantly surprised when I test drove the Dodge Avenger.

I wish dodge was still making this car.
I haven't had a problem since I purchased it back in 2013. It had a great price for all you get, and was well worth the purchase price. It had all the amenities I wanted - cruise control, low tire warning air conditioning, maintenance reminders, hands free phone access, USB ports, and more things I cannot remember. Fuel consumption is about 28 mpg, so it is very livable, and for a four cylinder has plenty of pickup and great passing power. The engine has variable valve timing which also aids in it is operation. I intend to keep this car as long as feasibly possible, as it is served me well for the last seven years, and expect many more years of service from it. All-in-all, it is a great-looking vehicle with a very attractive price, lots of interior room, and more than adequate performance.

Great bang for your buck!
Vehicle drives great and has few problems, but it starts to make creaking noises while still fairly new. I have also noticed that the front of the hood (right above the grill) tends to rust on all of the newer dodge avengers. Overall, the car is great quality for the money, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Very smooth riding vehicle.
I love my avenger. Very comfortable. Lots of space. Travels well and gets good gas mileage. The trunk has a lot of room to store groceries and other items. It is easy to maintain and. Parts are reasonably priced. The outside appearance is pleasing.
