As I do not drive as much now the car is satisfying. I am glad that it is a v6 as it has some get up and go. I haven't had any problems with it at all so that has been a plus. I most often had a convertible and I miss that feature. I prefer buying American!

Problems with my dodge avenger.
I love my vehicle. I do have a concern that is troublesome from what my husband tells me is the battery is very hard to get to, you really shouldn't make it that hard. I need a new battery & he will not replace it because it is hard. It does not have a transmission dipstick either, I do not like that either. The car drives awesome. I love my car.

The reliable dodge avenger.
I have had my dodge avenger for about 3 years, and my only two problems have been my window motor went out and my alternator. I keep the oil changed mostly. I really love my car, I have travelled over 10000 miles on that car and it is still going. It is also great on gas while taking long trips.

Dodge avenger: a small but very high end and quality car.
My car is a small 4 door car that gets the job done. It rides smoothly and gets me where I have to go. The sound system is very nice, and I am able to listen to my music without any complications. It has a built in bluetooth receiver so you can connect your phone to bluetooth and listen from your phone through that or through an aux cord if you prefer. I have owned the car now for a little more than a year and there have been no complications. Just do regular oil changes and make sure no lights come on and this car is one that is a great buy. The car is not the largest being only a 5-seater, and the trunk space leaves much to be desired, but for someone like me who is a college student who does not do a lot of travelling, the size is perfect for me. The car is also relatively easy to clean at that size so that is always a plus. The cooling system works well so there’s no need to worry about that especially if you live in a hot climate like I do. The back seats do not have any vents, however that does not matter as the front vents do enough to cool off the back. This car is an excellent buy, and I would tell all my friends that it is a car that they should be looking for on their car shopping list.

Dodge avenger has a lot of blind spots and not a lot of legroom.
It has a lot of blind spots. The electrical began malfunctioning after about 4 years. It does not constantly have issues, but we have had to put some money into it. The car does not have Bluetooth capabilities built in. It does have a single disk CD player.

The perks and shortcomings.
It is been a great family vehicle as it easily holds 2 car seats and is good on gas. Trunk is spacious for travel or groceries. Minimal car repairs have been needed other than regular maintenance. Difficult to drive in winter weather as it does not handle as well as an SUV or jeep would.

2014 dodge avenger se 4-door.
I love my 2014 dodge avenger! It rides very smoothly and hugs the curves very well. The interior is black and sleekly designed. Our only issue has been a rattling in the front passenger side of the car that has never been identified or repaired. It does not affect the cars performance.

Dodge avenger, thankfully retired.
Car has had problems since I got it, 2nd owner. Brake light comes on all the time and something else goes out every 6 months now. The transmission is starting to give me problems as it nears 90k miles. I purchased it from a dodge dealership I worked at and had the mechanics tell me to get rid of it. I am going to drive this thing until the wheels fall off, but it probably will not last to 200k that is for sure.

2014 dodge avenger the last year dodge avengers were made.
The breaks are questionable, even after getting new brakes. Its rides pretty smooth no complaints. Features nothing special although my car has a good stereo system for it being stock. Does have some speed and decent engine. Performance overall is good just have the brake issues and it's a lower vehicle.

Decent gas mileage- that is it.
Dodge avenger was a cheaply made car. It gets good gas mileage and has a fairly large backseat for a sedan, but the parts have had to have been replaced and the brakes have been an ongoing battle. I have replaced them multiple times and they continue to squeal. My car has had multiple shorts and fuses blow. Do not recommend. Will not be buying another dodge car.

2014 white dodge avenger with new Goodyear tires.
Driven this car for 6 years. It has 156, 900 miles on it. It has been very reliable and few problems. It is white with chrome & black trim it has it is been used for a daily commute of 120 miles and serviced regularly. It is very quiet while driving and very comfortable.

Built to last dodge avenger.
I have a great car,haven't had any major problems, simple things such as oil changes tires, fluid changes and at one point I did put on a timing belt because it needed one, not that it broke but would have been necessary. I have really loved on my vehicle with rims and other things, drives great and it always has, always able to purchases from local stores what is needed for my vehicle, nothing has to be ordered, drives great and is very comfortable, upkeep is easy, and gas mileage is terrific, would purchase another avenger if I chose to purchase another vehicle.

Overall, good running vehicle.
Though the dodge avenger is a good looking car and overall a good running vehicle there are a couple of things that I am not found about, the car does run a little rough and when going over bumps it tends to be a bit noisy. However, as far as overall performance it is a decent running vehicle.

Driving this Avenger is really thrilling and exciting.
I have had my Avenger for about 3 years and it has needed a lot of repair work. Although it is typically a reliable vehicle the repairs have been very expensive. It typically gets a little over 25 mpg, which isn't very good for my budget.

The Dodge Avenger is a nice classy looking vehicle.
The seats are comfy. The biggest problem I have with it is that it's not really a 5 person car. It's more of a 4 seater. I like the look and design of the car. It's very simple and classy! There have been some problems with it, but I can't remember what they were. But some of the problems we did have were pricey to fix. That's definitely a downside of a car newer than 2010!

Great care to own and operate.
My car has over 200,000 miles on the engine. I have not had any major mechanical problems what so ever. Just routine maintenance. Oil changes, tune ups. It has great gas mileage and head been relatively cheap to operate. Except for tires. This trim model has 18 inch rims and they are very expensive. It is a great car. I would purchase it all over again.

It was sold to me with a few different recall issues, the electric started going out on us the first few months we had it, we've replaced multiple engine components in just the first year, and it shakes when I drive it.

Access to battery you have to remove tire and plastic lining, recall on passenger airbags, avengers seem to have 'computer problems'. Had throttle. Body replaced.. I have room in back for 2 car seats, trunk space is good. Tire sensor is awesome feature.

Overall It has some drawbacks but the comfort and performance far outweigh them.
Pros: Handles well and accelerates quickly. The seats are comfortable on long drives. The controls on the steering wheel for the radio and dash display make things safer. Good gas mileage. Huge trunk. Cons: I've had it 4 months and I'm still not sure where to add water or wiper fluid. The arrangement of everything under the hood is very different. I'm short but I have to duck my head a little getting in and out. Rear sight lines aren't great. Back seat doesn't have a lot of legroom even when the front seats are pushed all the way forward.

Great gas mileage and sporty car.
The car has great gas mileage and it is a sporty car. I also love the color of my car and the interior. I wish it had a sunroof and a spoiler. I have had it for a few years and it is reliable. New tires made a huge difference in the the snow this past winter. Before that I would get stuck often.

Has some issues, it is a hit or miss.
At first I really loved my car. I like the body style and the interior. It is nice to ride in and the seats are comfortable. My first issue was the window switch for the drivers side window broke. It was an easy fix. Then just under 40,000 miles my transmission went out. The snap ring inside of it broke and my transmission had to be rebuilt. My other issue with the car is the placement of the battery. You have to take off the front drivers side tire to change it. Then the actuator inside of the dashboard started clicking whenever I turn the ac or heat on. And now that it is been taken apart and put back together it vibrates when I accelerate to 35 mph.

The hub bearings were the first thing in four years to give me trouble.
I have been driving it since 2014 only had one problem when I first got it dealer fixed it right away haven't had any problems with it till recently a/c had to be replaced it had a leak and the hub barring's been replaced but I think it been a great car and she drives smooth love it.

My car is pretty reliable. It is definitely a gas saver. I have had pretty normal issues such as: replacing a radiator hose, replacing the pcv valve, and a new one for me was replacing the HVAC module. Everything was affordable and can be expected with any car. It is very spacious inside. Great stock sound system. And very easy to keep clean.

The car is good for small things like going around and doing chores.
There’s one part in the ac that keeps breaking for some reason. The car works grew at its a smooth drive. It does use slot of gas if I am correct it is 19 miles a gallon. It's hard to replace the cabin air filter since it is in a small stop behind the glove compartment.

Reliable, comfortable, spacious, but has recalls and a/c and heater issues.
There has been 3 recalls so far. I have issues with the a/c and heater and after looking into the issue I have discovered it is a very common issue with this vehicle. Other than that I have had no problems with the car, it is very comfortable and I love the interior design of this car. It is very reliable, I have never broken down or had any serious issues.

I love having a 6 cylinder car just in terms of going faster easier when I need too. I also love that my car is flex fuel efficient so for me gas is much cheaper and e85 gas is better for the environment. I have never had any mechanical issues with it. Only problem with it I would say is the room is not as much for the driver side.

I would have preferred the maintenance to be spread out as opposed to at once.
It is fine but deteriorated quickly with the transmission as well as the brakes. Other than that the miles per gallon have been good and I haven't had much other issues with it. I have been happy with the car other than the transmission issues. That is all.

Dodge avenger nice ride but I would spend a few extra dollars for the upgrades.
My car is pretty basic, although it does have power locks and windows. Really wish it had Bluetooth and touch screen radio in it. The windows were not tinted so I added that. Drives pretty smooth, seats are comfortable nothing special just basic cloth seats. Trunk has a lot of space and back seats fold down. Rides pretty well also, does have defrost on back glass which I like but no back windshield washer so it is hard to see out of in the rain.

The performance is good with a V6 engine with 383 horsepower it moves well on the highway along with nice gas mileage of 30 miles per gallon. This is a good car to own.
I've had some trim work on the interior come loose. I haven't had any issues mechanically, and the car seems to be durable. I've replaced a couple bulbs and maintained regular required oil changes. The avenger has plenty of room to hold 4 adults and carry some luggage.

The dodge avenger is a nice car. I haven't had many issues with mine besides a few things the seller sold it with. I have noticed though that the little pocket on the passenger side door near the handle, has fallen out of place. Not a huge issue though compared to other vehicles I have had. No motor/engine issues of any sort yet.

My car has good speed performance.
My car is good it's just plain no extras I would love to update. I have had some issues with some sounds seems to be coming from back on left side. Also started making a ticking noise when I open door and trunk and sometimes when I am just driving down the road. Not sure what it is and door on drivers side does not lock with my key lock button.

Great car but with standard features.
I haven't had any problems with this vehicle and have been somewhat impressed by its performance, it has nice acceleration and a selectable slap shift. I never have to worry about it really and have never had it fail on me at all. However it is pretty basic when it comes to features just the typical keyless entry and power windows none of that fancy digital stuff many cars have today.

2014 dodge avenger - a good car for family or everyday use.
Very comfortable with good interior size. It is a good car to transport with my children. I have taken the car on road trips and normal everyday driving and it is reliable with good gas mileage. I have had to put about $1500 in repairs to the car in the 4 + years I have had the car, mainly replacing the electronic throttle control. However, I would recommend this car.

No problems. The 2.4 4cyl engine does not have enough power for me. Since the engine is so weak, it gets worse gas mileage due to the weight of the car and it is passengers. It is pretty reliable. The comfort level is about a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10. It is a base model so expect base features.

Overall a good daily driver. Love the gas mileage.
Seats are not that comfortable, good gas mileage, a/c works amazing. Have had issues with the breaks since I bought it in 2019. Very spacious. Has a little bit of hesitation when needing to fully accelerate from a slower speed. Otherwise it is a faster car.

Great family car, spacey and reliable
I really love how comfortable my car is and the style. It's really sleek and stylish. The gas mileage isn't horrible, but it is not great. It costs a lot to fill my car up sometimes, especially when prices are high. I also hate how low my car is, because it feels every bump in the road. I do love the revving noise that my car makes when I am driving. It's very easy to speed up really quickly. Also the drives in this car is very smooth. My Avenger holds the road and curves very well. It is also a good vehicle in the mountains and on flat land. I've driven this vehicle in all kinds of weather and it has stood up to everything. Also, the paint job still looks fresh. After 5 years, the paint still looks new. The trunk space is very large as well as the backseat. Because the backseat sits lower, it's easy to see over people in the back. This car is baby proof. Overall, I would recommend this car, because it is very reliable, even with the faults such as being a gas burner. But I do drive an hour every weekday and three hours every weekend, so that could be it too.

Great car for short trips and comfortable on long drives. Great gas mileage.
My car is quiet, the ride is smooth. There are just enough dials on the dashboard. The seats are comfortable and easy to clean. The dashboard is easy to read. I have an automatic driver seat which is great since I am short. The interior has plenty of legroom in front and back.

Reliable. Smooth and a pleasure to drive.
Runs good, minimal service issues. Clock loses time. Brake light comes on for no reason. Overall it has been a good car. I would recommend it. I bought it from enterprise car sales. I wish the warranty was better. I have over 82,000 miles on it. Thank you for asking.

Terrible car. Not worth wasting money on.
The transmission module went. The rim is shot. The ignition switch had to be changed. The alternator had to be replaced. I had to get a new battery. Overall the car is honestly pretty unreliable. It is seriously terrible. I wouldn't suggest this car to anyone.

I love that is a dodge. Hate I bought new. Hate I didn't get the Upgraded package. Hate I chose miles over years on the warranty. Wish I would have bought a larger sedan

The car has a sporty look.
We have had Minor repairs over the 5 years we owned the call - the interior has ample room - The car is decent on mileage - the car is very dependable - holds 5 comfortably, can hold 6 if needed. The only issue is the splash guard in the front of the car is too low and gets caught on the parking bumpers

Review of my dodge avenger please read before deciding to purchase one.
Air conditioner issues brake problems. All in all it is an ok car but I’ll never purchase another dodge. Too many problems with it. Now the problems are not all that serious it is fixable but I like my little car. I would prefer a Toyota but a dodge has its issues. I think it is a very comfy car, and reliable. I wouldn’t purchase another one though.

A durable, reliable dodge.
Have had my car for almost 7 years and have never had any major issues. Have had some small recalls but nothing that affected the performance of the car. It is very durable and some of the more significant accidents I have had didn't damage the cat in a major way.

Dodge avenger in good condition but with a few issues.
Good on gas. Emergency brake is broken and the light is constantly on and beeps. Needs new brake pads and fluids but overall runs very well. Needs to be realigned. Interior is very clean and does not have tears, stains, or damage. Blinkers, lights, horn, lights, and emergency signals all work perfectly. Older car but runs well.

It's great on gas a full tank last 500 miles . When the oil needs changed a lite comes on and says it needs changed .i like that feature
I bought my 2014 dodge avenger used. It had 42 thousand miles on it . There was one recall for the airbags. Other than that there hasn't been any problems.It's a good car.

The 2014 dodge avenger is a pretty good car. Mine specifically has cloth seating. It is pretty reliable and can get you where you need to go. The gas mileage is decent. It is a pretty good size with 3 back seats. The ac works very well as well as the heating.

Great for kids, sports, and travel.
It's very comfortable, my son plays sports and there is plenty of room for all of his equipment and our 2 dogs. Smooth drive, great factory sound system and I feel very secure in tight turns or inclines. Only issues I've had is the electric windows jamming.

Dodge avenger 2014- looks great and rides smooth.
This vehicle gets up and goes. Drives very smoothly, low maintenance and great on gas mileage. It looks sporty as well. It is a dodge so the batter is in a funky spot to replace and I am sure there are other quirks I haven't found yet. The back is not super roomy but comfortable.
