Family vehicle comfort with plenty of legroom.
My dodge caravan is a great vehicle. It is very dependable, reliable & a comfort to drive. It has a heater, air conditioning & cruise control. It also has am FM radio, CD player with pause button. The only problem I have is the headliner is starting to come down. Other than that I'd highly recommend it!

Used 2000 Caravan still running great
I've had no problems with my vehicle. I bought it used from an older couple, who kept up with preventive maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.). As long as I continue this, I don't foresee any problems with the vehicle's performance. The only thing I have a problem with is the rear window wiper blade. It doesn't seem to remove much of the rain or washer fluid from the back window. But this isn't a problem for me, as I hardly ever use it.

Her name is godly. She is a wonderful ride when running.
Needs new water pump and new radiator. Just changed belt. It holds the whole family and when fixed runs like a dream.

A good van that gets you where you need to go.
Although I have had a few problems its actually a good car I have enjoyed this car its gets me where I need to go from work and back home and it has great gas mileage when I take my trips there is a lot of room so its not crowded and the DVD keeps the kids busy.

It's the perfect vehicle for carrying dogs and the equipment that goes with them.
I have a dog I train and show in obedience and agility and the caravan is the perfect vehicle to carry a large crated dog, training equipment, and the tent and chairs for shows. It's comfortable and easy to drive and park. The only thing I dislike is that the seats are awkward to remove and replace.

It is comfortable to ride in.
I love the comfort of the ride in my Minivan. Lots of room for passengers. Does great on gas mileage as well. I love having room for groceries or carrying large items without needing a truck or suv.

2000 Dodge Grand Caravan sport.
My family has had this 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan sport minivan for probably at least ten years. We got it used from family. It has 7 seats. The seats in the back fold down or come out. It has served us very well. This past year, we have had to put a lot of money into it though.

I do not regret it at all, good choice!
Since the model is old, we do have problems with it and take it to be repaired often, but still considering how old it is, it is very well built! Not too often do I see cars built to last like this, which has kept me from buying a new one. I love how much room the car is, and how nice it turns as well!

The dodge caravan is a car for all ages.
I love my dodge caravan. It is the car I learned to drive in, I can fit all my friends and family in it. The mileage is not great but it is perfect for running errands around town. As it is now almost 19 years old it does require a little more maintenance than usual, but it is worth it. I hope to get a few more years with this car.
accountCircle Jessica D on December 9, 2020
Sometimes older is better.
Easy to maintain I like that not everything is electrical because with everything doors windows trunk everything being electric you run the risk of and inevitably at some point something will need to have maintenance either wire shortage a switch gone bad something yes you can still open and close the doors it is just the face that the purpose of having everything electric is for convenience as far as big pricier problems as long as you keep the van serviced you shouldn't have any issues chances of oil, leaks or any other fluid leak is just like any other vehicle my personal opinion older cars are last longer regardless of mileage as long as leaks and things do not go undetected you will be ok the only problem I have had was engine problems because of oil leaks power steering and transmission same thing before any major problem it was something small like a leak when it comes to cosmetic issues I also like older cars because finding parts that are just as good as brand new dealer part that is marked up is easy to find and easy to fix.

I love the space and the number of seats. I like the color and the ease of driving. Right now the only thing I do not like is the high miles and the rust.

I like the storage space available. I use it to transport my mom. It's easy for her to get in and out of. However, It's getting old so it does have some mechanical and body issues.

My van is a mostly reliable older vehicle with exterior damage and interior dirt
My Dodge Caravan is usually reliable. I recently replaced the tires, brakes and the master cylinder. The air conditioning is mostly reliable. The hood has a large dent and there are other smaller dents on the body. The interior is pretty good, with some stains on the carpeting. The seats are in pretty good condition. The headliner has fallen from the roof in the front of the vehicle, and has a been sewn together with fabric thread with fairly good results.

A brief look at the basic pros and cons of a 2000 dodge caravan.
Well I drive an old dodge caravan. It could be better but it is not that bad I suppose. I believe the downside of it is that it is prone to many electric issues. And the air conditioning compressor needs maintenance often. However, it is a pretty tough vehicle able to take extreme weather easily.

Love the roominess. Quiet engine. Electrical system very finicky, works when it wants to, especially if it gets a little wet. Has enough storage space. Has enough cup holders. Comfortable seats. Under passenger seat drawer. Handles well. Smooth ride.

Still runs after 16 years of daily driving.
She runs like a race van. She as has a great motor. She has great low miles. I can driver her to arizona and back to california in timing. She can stop at a great timing. She will last me for another 5 year before I try to find another great car. She also great on gas. Dodge vans are the best vans to sleep in.

Problems of a very old car.
So old it requires service on various parts of the car from time to time. It makes a pinging noise shortly after the car is filled up with gasoline bur who knows why it does that. Yesterday on the way home from Nashville (5-6 hour drive) my husband thought one of the tires had separated so we got it rebalanced but he thinks the real problem was not truly fixed. Air conditioning works thankfully since it the car is almost 20 years old.

I love my van. It has a great deal of room, perfect for a family of four. It is comfortable, roomy and takes everyone, as well as others where we need to go. My complaints stem from age, which really is not a design flaw, but rather a fact that things don't last forever.

This vehicle has many good features, one is movable chairs.
I like my vehicle, it is decent. You have seven seats, this should be abundant for a normal family. You have all the good feature a car has: air conditioning, pulling up and down windows, etc.. One thing I really love is the feature of pulling your chair backwards and forwards. So when you are tired, just pull your chair backwards, that should help you sleep. If the chairs in the middle row are blocking your way to going to the chairs back row, just pull the chairs in the middle row forward, they will get out of your way to go to the back. This car has many good features. And it looks nice too. This car is a good car.

Comfortably Dependable Family Vehicle
It is very roomy, seats are very comfortable. I have had very few mechanical problems, other than normal wear and tear. There is plenty of cargo room. I love the double sliding doors and the ease of loading from the back end. At the time I bought this van, the removable back seats were not available. The second seat is easy to remove, but heavy and awkward to store. The third seat folds down, which helps when carrying large loads or when packing to vacate during a hurricane. I am sure all the newer improvements and additions available today would make it even more comfortable and desirable. If I ever get a new vehicle, I would choose this type of Dodge van

Since it is a 2000, and it is 2018, clearly, Dodge caravans can last incredibly long. This van has been the most reliable car we've ever had, with the fewest mechanical problems over the 7 years we've had it. We've trusted it more than newer model cars we've had.
