It's a very good vehicle that has lasted us over ten years now
I love it's comfort on the seats and the engine is a v6 which I really love too. Also it seats my family of 7 very comfortably
accountCircle Trisha L
Gas mileage is great. I can get back and forth from work all week.
My van is super great there is plenty of room for all 6 of us it has a TV that my youngest can watch 2 radios so my oldest 2 can listen to one cause they like rap and my other daughter and me can listen to one cause we like country I have not had any problems with van yet this far. I get great gas mileage.

It is definitely a keeper I would have to be offered a trade for free to trade and we all know that just doesn't happen
I enjoy all the features of automatic doors and back hatch door I need it to transport my mobility scooter. I need it for convenience It would take a lot for me to get rid of my Van and it is a 2013 and the latest year available for me to check was 2007

Very comfortable and easy to haul lots of different cargo
Love my Caravan. Great for people and dogs. I often have both in my car.

An interesting detail about the Dodge caravan is the child safety of this car.
Problems I have had: egr valve, power steering pump, alternator, overheating occasionally The van has lots of room inside. I love the feature that allows you to press a button to open the side doors. It runs smooth and has gotten me to and from long trips (7+ hours).
accountCircle TRACY L
Rides well, good on gas, lots of storage, easy ride.
This van drives very smooth. Very comfy. I have driven on long trips with 7 passengers and it is still comfortable and roomy. Lots of storage
accountCircle Courtney G
My favorite "luxury" this vehicle has is the automatic door and trunk opener!
I have enjoyed my Journey with this vehicle so far! This is a perfect first family car for my husband, 2 toddlers, and myself along with 3 extra seats for family or friends. We have had very few issues with it. I have no doubt the Dodge Grand caravan will be in our family for several more years. Not much care is needed for it other than frequent oil changes and some love from the car wash.

My Dodge Caravan is helpful in transporting family and shopping.
My Dodge Caravan is need to help with shopping, pleasure trips and going to doctor. It has plenty of legroom. It could be a little better on gas. We like the ability of moving seats to make passenger comfortable we like the cruise control and radio. I enjoy my Caravan.

Somewhat efficient, yet boring.
I think that the Dodge caravan would be great for someone with multiple children. But, I am the only child. It is an older model that does not have Bluetooth or GPS, and it is not very stylish in my opinion. It does have a decent amount of room and is a 6-7 passenger vehicle. It has a decent trunk, nothing too big or small. It has floor storage, too (you can open a latch on the floor and store things under there). It does not burn as much gas as a truck would, and you still get pretty good storage. Although these features are nice, I wouldn't buy one with my own money. Also, I have never been fond of minivans or vans, anyway. It is about preference in my case. Every vehicle is not for everyone. If you have several children, this is for you. With all the seating, (depending on how many children you have) your kids can have their friends ride to their destination with them. If you are always lugging around a lot of stuff and need the storage without spending a whole lot on gas, this is for you. It is not super economical, but it gets you where you need to go. However, if you are looking for something stylish and fun, this is not for you. It is the exact opposite. It is not to say it is ugly, but it is not something someone would usually take pictures of proudly. If you want more modern technology, this vehicle is not at all for you. It does not even have auxiliary jack. Enough said.

It has no air conditioning and only the left automatic door still works. You can't use right door it doesn't opens. It has great storage!
It's old. We've replaced everything and it is rusting to the point that the metal is disinteresting. There is nothing I like about the vehicle except the heated seat and DVD player.
accountCircle Marli V
I have to manually lock the doors, because the alarm does not always work, and the windows go down on their own.
There are a lot of wheel and axle problems associated with this car. It does run smoothly at times, but too many issues take place with the electronic aspect, as well.
accountCircle Willow R
Clunk of junk somehow still on its last leg.
My van has a wheelchair lift in it and it breaks all the time. That's the only reason I hate my van. Also there's no AUX port and it's a gas hog. I wish the lights were automatic. I have white duct tape along the sliding door to hold the frame together.

Don't buy an old van or you will regret it
I hate the style of it. Vans just look bulky and unattractive in my opinion. I would prefer a car that is small and compact. Since the van is old is has lots of mechanical issues. The heat and air conditioner don't work. Most of the windows no longer work.
accountCircle Mikel Y
Not the best gas mileage for any car, but as a minivan it really struggles to get even 300 miles on a tank.
I like that it still is running well. But it is in constant need of repair and is making funny noises. Also it does not get very good gas mileage.
accountCircle Kim H
It is not a reliable vehicle.
The van has had major problems. We have been through at least 7 tires just this year. The wiring is all messed up and the auto doors don't open or close anymore.
accountCircle Stephen A
Poor ride, pray really hard it gets you there in one piece.
The electrical is messed up. The dash board burned out on me. The passenger side headlight and taillight need to be replaced frequently due to the previous owner swapping in unconventional parts and splicing the wires making the electrical issues worse.

2nd & 3rd row seats fold into the floor making more room for storage. The entire is roomy.
It is very reliable. In the 7 years that we have had it we haven't had to put hardly any repair money into it. It is comfort the folding seats are terrific to provide a roomy area for hauling items in when needed.

It is ok. Gets me where I need to go. It is terrible on gas. It does hold 7 people which is a plus. My teenage sons drive it as well. I feel it is a safer vehicle for them to drive.

How Reliable Is The 2007 Dodge Caravan?

The vehicle has no problems. Outside of routine maintenance I only had to replace the tires. I put about 20,000 miles per year on the car for 3 years. The gas mileage was also good.
Nick G.
It drives well but it is used. Windows don't roll down in the back and lacks a/c. It gets you where you need to go
Samuel G.
The van is a very reliable vehicle. The AC has started to go and the front door locks don’t work quite right though
Chana S.
We just had brakes fixed. The air conditioner does not work. It is reliable. We can haul a lot of groceries and larger items in the van.
Karla R.
It is very reliable. Body is starting to rust in spots, but I guess that is to be expected for a vehicle of its age. Still looks good!
Nicole S.
Yes it's reliable. No it doesn't have any problems. Biggest problem was the driver's side window that stopped working.
Krystal P.

Is The 2007 Dodge Caravan A Good Value?

The car cost about 28,000 and I financed it through Chrysler. It is a good value as the initial price was low, the operating costs were low, and the vehicle is very reliable.
Nick G.
It cost around 4000.00. It’s a good car if you plan to drive within the neighborhood or a little further.
Ashley K.
I was able to get this car for free through my family however I would’ve payed I high price for this vehicle being that it is very reliable.
Julia F.
Well we purchased it used 4 years ago. Just finished paying it off this month. hooray! It is a bit of a gas guzzler. That gets a little pricey.
Melissa A.
I don't remember the original cost of our Caravan. I think it's been a great value because of the service it has provided us. Long or short trips, we've always been comfortable.
Brittany M.
I believe it ended up costing us around 7,000 after trading in another vehicle. Yes it's a good value. Great for families.
Jennifer G.
Not sure about the actual value, but it’s not an expensive van and for the perks that you get it’s worth the money that you invest
