Dodge Challenger the snow cat
2018 Dodge Challenger GT
it is an amazing car, it is fast enough to be fun but slow enough to keep you humble. It is the only one of three American brands that keep the old school muscle look. It comes in many different colors and trim levels. Being that I live in the north where we have long cold winters AWD is very important and because the dodge challenger is the only one out of Chevy and ford to offer that in there sports car line up I went with the easy choice. At 305 horsepower this car is no slouch really good off the line and keeps traction like a rally car 'yes I have tried it on the back roads handles amazingly' the optional leather seats are very comfortable and plush, but bolstered enough to keep you in your seat when you want to put this car in sport mode and deactivate traction control have some fun. The seats are heated and cooled which means it blows A/C up on and in to the seat. The steering wheel is heated perfect for the long winter months. This car came with an optional remote start so that I can get the car warmed up for inside before I go out and dig it out of the snow. Because of the sheer weight of the car it is an absolute tank in the snow passing every vehicle I come up on. I got through two winters with this car and never once had in issue with traction or control. Whenever I leave this car at some parking lot I am always looking out the window to see if I can't catch a glimpse of the car. I have one gripe with this car however, and it's that when you turn off traction control it locks in AWD mode when you are able to be in RWD when it is warm out. Thus stopping you from hooning around. If I had to put this car on a scale of 1-10 it would be a solid 9.
