I stand by the Dodge products

2005 Dodge Dakota ST

I've had three Dodge trucks over 20 years and once they reach a certain mileage I've notice the gas gauge have stopped working. My Nitro has yet to do this. Of all my Dodge vehicles, my 1996 Dakota was the best. I was able to put 276,507 miles on it without any major issues or engine failures. The cab rusted off the frame mounts and making my 'drive' finally being down in the 2nd position as the cab was settling down further on the frame it was pulling on the shift linkage.

05 Dakota good Runs good 97 dodge Dakota needs work Pontiac g6 is horrible.

2005 Dodge Dakota ST

Dodge Dakota is a good truck. Pontiac not so much. 97 my son drives. We have nothing but trouble with Pontiac. Sad thing is we owe money on it. The 05 dodge Dakota runs good and it's rays on gas. It's also 8 cylinder so that surprising me. Lots of room in it. We drive it a lot. 97 goes to school and back and then to work and back home. It needs work. Its rough on gas.

Lemon Dakota: repairs begin at 50,000 miles.

2005 Dodge Dakota ST

It has 65,000 and I've already replaced upper and lower ball joints on both sides, transmission, and brakes every year. I don't drive on bad roads or highways. I don't drive it hard either. It's not used for hauling or towing. I think this truck is just a lemon. I have too much money in it to let it go now.

Good heat and air, dependable and comfortable to drive.

2005 Dodge Dakota ST

This pickup is an all wheel drive. We have had extensive problems with the 4WD portion on the front end. We have had to replace it two times in two years. This pickup has a good air conditioner and an outstanding heater. The motor runs good and it is comfortable to drive and ride in.
