Why the Dodge Grand Caravan is Awesome

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

My Dodge Grand Caravan minivan is the best! It has TWO built in car seats in the middle row. The car seats can be pushed up and into the back of the seat to make two regular seats. There is so much storage space in the bottom of the van. Like literally under the seats. The back row of seats holds three people and the seat belt unbuckles at the top so you don't have to mess with it if there are only two people in the back. Plus the middle row of seats will come completely out of the van if needed. It's so easy to take them out and put them back in. Myself and my 12 year old son can take the seats out and put them back in by ourselves. The back row of seats fold down FLAT into the floorboard. It's incredible. It's seriously the best vehicle I've ever owned. And it's reliable!

Great family van, and lots of napkins.

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

My dodge grand caravan is amazing. It fits seven people comfortably. The shifter and all the important buttons are conveniently placed on/around the dashboard. There is a center console with ample storage and four cup holders that can be removed for more space. There are two glove boxes, one for important papers, and the other for all the napkins you decide to hoard. There is great storage in the floor right behind the driver and front passenger seat. Lots of legroom. All the windows are controlled by buttons on the driver side door. The bag is grand for fitting lots of groceries and sports equipment, for all of the kids that for comfortably in the van.

2008 Dodge Caravan Review

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

Panel behind front doors very subject to damage. Wonderful variations on seat adjustment, height, depth. Good heater. Air conditioning unit in engine compartment comes detached after going over rough terrain or deep railroad tracks. Have not had warm enough weather, yet, to evaluate the repairs I had done. I do not have a lot of money to put into repairs, and there are a lot things controlled by buttons and electronics that could easily fail and be difficult for anyone but an auto mechanic to fix. So far, the car has been very reliable in performance, although I have had some battery and tire problems.

The dodge caravan right for you.

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

I absolutely love my dodge caravan. It rides smooth the seats sit up high. The back two roles of seats are easily removed to make more room, from bigger loads of whatever it is you need to move. There are not a lot of things I would change about my van. The number one thing would be having cruise control in it. But besides that I would rate it an overall 8 out of 10. It actually drives pretty good in the snow better than what I would have guess. Definitely happy with it.

The 2008 Dodge Caravan is a reliable vehicle. It's just not the comfiest.

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

I bought my car at 200,000 miles. The vehicle has been reliable in the 2 years that I have owned it. I have driven it to Ohio and up north with no issues. I did delivery driving with this vehicle and its a trooper. However the driver's seat is extremely uncomfortable. It causes my sciatica to flare up when I drive for long periods in stop and go traffic. My vehicle also lacks cruise control. I never realized how useful cruise control is until I no longer had it.

Electric side doors and stow and go seats are a new must!

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

We bought our 2008 dodge grand caravan in hopes that it would fit the needs of our family of five. We have 3 children in full sized car seats so we needed something that was reliable, comfortable, and had enough space. This van meets our needs above and beyond! The electric side doors make it super easy to load up everyone and the stow and go seats are a huge added bonus! The performance and handling is great too. I don't mind being a minivan mom anymore!

No problems. Big space. Drivers easy.

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

It's good on gas. It gets me from point a to point b with no problems. Its big enough to carry all my kids and have room for groceries. It does not have TVs but I am ok with that. I like the extra space under the seats for storage. We have traveled halfway across the country with ease. No engine problems at all.

A few complex issues on an otherwise great van.

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

Being used it initially had electrical problems which after replacing other parts turned out to be a dying battery. Now it has a bad fuel injector that was hard to diagnose BC it was the circuit inside the injector. It is otherwise very awesome love the stow n go. It is all the vehicle our family needs.

2008 dodge grand caravan: 230k miles and going strong.

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

The gas mileage is great and it is very low maintenance. I have hardly ever had to make any repairs on it, and it has 230k miles. Also, the very minor things I have had to replace were very easy and the parts were cheap. It is very reliable transportation and I have taken good care of it.

I have been moving this weekend and put when all the seat are down a lot can fit

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

I love all the space it provides. I use it as a truck. I love the gliding doors however I wish there was a button to automatically open the back hatch. It drives smooth and I haven't had to do any additional work to it other than maintenance. The air conditioner works good in this heat

Very happy with this car!

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

I have no problems with this vehicle. I have stow and go seating which is much easier than the removable seats, it also has 4 captain seats which I feel is much more comfortable for adults. I like the feeling of sitting more upright in a van over riding in a lower to the ground, car

The built in DVD player is awesome.

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

Love my van I would purchase another one in a heartbeat., I have had no major problems just usual maintenance. Great on gas have taken several trips and vacations in it rides great. Big help when traveling with grandkids.to 4 H dog shows and other family events.

Comfortable and good parts quality

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

The gran caravan has a big gas tank, is not economical if you travel local or long distance. The car is heavy and does not run like a compact car, but is very comfortable for traveling, spacious, you can fit 8 people inside and put luggage on the ceiling.

- Andrea A

It is a large vehicle made for big families.

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE

It is a used van but has been osu reliable so far. We have used it to drive to many places around the Midwest. While driving is usually very smooth and everyone enjoys being all together within one vehicle instead of driving 2 around with our family of 6.
