Dodge Grand Caravan Is A Great Option For A Family Vehicle.

2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Base

The Grand Caravan is a great vehicle because it is roomy and gets good gas mileage. I love that I can fold down the second row seats to make additional space for groceries, etc. There is plenty of storage in this car. We always have plenty of space for traveling. I love the under seat storage by the second row seats. My car has a DVD player which has been great for long trips with kids. The only complaint I have about the Grand Caravan is the transmission issues we've had to deal with. In 2017 we had over $4,000 in transmission repairs that needed to be done. Since the car was only 6 years old, I was a little surprised by that. No other major issues with the car. We have had a few recall issues for parts that needed to be replaced. Didn't seem like a big deal to me. If you want a vehicle with lots of space and doesn't use a lot of gas like a SUV, this is a great option.

It use to be great, here's to wishing!!

2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Base

The 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan was a great vehicle for the first maybe two and half years. Then I started getting all types of manufacturing recalls, at least 2-3 a year it seemed like. Next other things started happening or breaking..for instance the side sliding doors wouldn't close because of the black retracting belt kept coming apart(I have returned from many of trips to the store with my van door open)..plus the key fob went out after maybe two years and it would cost about $300 to fix it, so I could not lock it and if I did it would set off the anti-theft system..then the liftgate went out, which means I could no longer push the button to open it up because it would not stay closed.

There's a space below the feet of the back seats that you can fit the seats into.

2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Base

We love our Dodge Grand Caravan! We took it on a trip from Montana down to Florida for vacation and it had No issues! Not a single hiccup on the way there or the way back. There was also plenty of cargo space for all of our luggage, four passengers, and large dog! I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.
