Great for a family of four.

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

Initially when I purchased the Dodge Journey, I was thrilled the vehicle was going to give me the much needed trunk space and seating with our growing family. The Journey has a third row which is great it folds down and gives you more trunk space, which allows for more groceries and definitely fits a stroller. The nice thing about the third row is it folds down into two sections. So you can either fold down the whole third row or just half of the third row. This allows for someone to sit in the third row and gives you space for groceries and things. As my family grew the third row became much needed seating. The space the third row gives you is great if your a child but as an adult it's a bit small, I'm 5'1 and I'm not so comfortable sitting back there. Also by using the third row the trunk space reduces greatly, a stroller is harder to fit specially if you have a large one. This vehicle has had major car repairs, we are talking a few thousand dollars. We've had issues with the electrical, ex. bluetooth, the touchscreen (which from time to time freezes), there was a recall on our vehicle, which is always scary. All in all not exactly what I expected, I believe this car is great for a family of four, you will fit comfortable the second row is spacious. You can definitely benefit from the third row folding down to give you that much needed trunk space.

Dodge journey 2012 awesome features.

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

My favorite part about my journey is the push to start feature. I also really love my touch screen console. I have had it now for four and a half years and it is still going strong. I have had to replace the battery, which is in the strangest location in this vehicle. Other than that, I haven't had to do any major work, just normal maintenance. I would recommend this crossover vehicle to any family that loves to take road trips as it is very comfortable, yet conservative on gas. I use the cruise control quite often to ease the stress of driving on the freeway. Oh and if this vehicle does not sound good enough yet, here's a clever feature, if you press the lock button on your door and close it, the car beeps and unlock immediately. How many times has that saved me time and money!!

One interesting detail is the storage compartment under the mat in the backseat.

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

I do not like my dodge journey because I have frequent problems when starting the vehicle. I have contacted the dealership to have this problem looked at. When I took it to the dealership they told me they do not see anything wrong with it. However I received several recalls in the mail, and yet I am still having a problem with my vehicle. I will most definitely not purchase another dodge in my lifetime.

The journey is a great family vehicle and has always been reliable!

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

I love my journey! It has great room for all of my kids. Its black interior is very sleek and easy to clean. It is not too large of an SUV which makes parking a breeze. It has been very reliable. It gets decent gas mileage. The seats slide making it easy for passengers to get in and out of the third row. It also has lots of storage space throughout the car.

2012 Dodge Journey is a wonderful ride

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

I love my Dodge Journey. It handle well on the road and the gas mileage is great. The seats are comfortable for long car rides and when the back seats are comfortable. I really enjoy the storage in the back and also if need be I have a third row of seats. The controls took a little bit to get use to but once we figured everything out we were fine .

Issues with the 2012 dodge journey which have fixes.

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

Problems with the electronic sensor. Driver door wiring become compress during normal wear. This cuts wiring such as windows, but it is a quick fix. Remote start worked at first, however becomes disengaged. There is a fix for this but have not tried it. You might be able to disconnect the battery and reconnect to get the remote start working again.

Dodge Journey All Wheel drive with third row.

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

Comfortable and roomy. The third row has plenty of legroom. Interior has extra storage under the rear seats. It's a bit of a rough ride and hard to park in tight spots due to a wide turning radius. The AWD is nice and does ok in the snow. Sound system is decent. I would not recommend the cloth seats as they tend to tear easily.?

Awesome third row seating

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

Front wheel drive. 3 row seating. Power windows and locks. Rear thermostat adjustments. Black cloth interior. Really good on gas. In a small area (not many highways) averages 25-27 mpg. Comfortable. Roomy. Drives smoothly. Convenient for vacations with baggage. Good for larger families. Goes excellent in snow.

Plus its a Semi-Auto, so a totally fun car all around!

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

It's a car of luxury, but built to drive in all road conditions. The space allows you to plan for your turn to carpool or you can fold down the third row seating and load up the camping gear and hit the road! Has storage compartments, backseat heat/ac controls... many charging ports for everyone to use!

Hands down, best vehicle around

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

My Dodge Journey has been an extremely reliable vehicle. It has never let us down. It has also been great for our budget. We spend about twenty dollars a week for gas, that's with two teenage sons going all over the place, so it is very good on the gas mileage. It really is a great little vehicle

Dodge Journey SXT - Family Vehicle

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

It's quite compact and not much room for belongings. However the car is reliable and the gas mileage is good. It's up to date and my kids enjoy riding in it. We have drove this vehicle for many family vacations and have never had issues during that time.

2012 Dodge Journey almost perfect SUV

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

Overheating problem once. Coolant spilled out of car while sitting still while one with ac running. Thermostat got stuck and had to be replaced. After repair there were no more issues. No other issues so far besides not being big enough for my family

Wonderful daily driver

2012 Dodge Journey SXT

I love all the storage it has. Don’t like the headrests in the third row blocks the rear view window
