The good and bad of owning a dodge nitro.
Love that it sits high up, like that it is spacious, comes with remote starter, no major issues just wear and tear do to age of my vehicle, has a CD player, nice size trunk, backseat let’s down which comes in handy when or if you have to move, power windows no sunroof.

Dodge nitro silver 2011 review.
The brakes always have recalls, the car also always makes a weird sound when you are driving over 50 mph. The parts are very expensive for this car. It is not worth the money. The steering wheel also had a recall on it. The car is very nice looking and it is a 6 seat and has a big trunk.

Nitro is a great SUV, wish they still made them. It is got speed, room and it looks great. Do not need to do much to factory style, cause it looks good already. The trim is factory, but looks like you spent a lot of money doing so aftermarket. Most likely tinting windows is all you'll want to do.

Perfect size and function ability for any person.
I think it performs really well! I drove it between states(7.5 hours) multiple times over the summer and every time it always ran so well and I never had any problems. The spaciousness inside the vehicle is so convenient because I can have passengers and a lot of storage space in the back. All of the features meet every one of my needs and make for an amazing driving experience!

Perfect mom-mobile, comfy and kid proof!
The nitro is very roomy. Excellent gas mileage.. I travel a lot for work and my kids. The four wheel drive capability is fantastic. The nitro will handle any amount of snow. It is a very reliable vehicle. The only thing besides maintenance I have had to fix was the water pump. The back seats and the front passenger seat fold completely down, and they are covered in a hard plastic to keep from ripping. I have moved several of my friends using the nitro. The stock sound system is also great, I like music with a lot of bass and you would be surprised at how well the stock stereo speakers are in the car. It is very easy to clean as the seats move all the way back allowing to clean every part of the carpet. I love the nitro, it is perfect for my two kids and I.

A simple and easy vehicle to get you where you need to be.
My nitro rides like a dream. I haven't had any issues from the vehicle. There is not a lot of new age features ( GPS, backup camera) but it does have a spot for a annex cord. As long as you keep up with its maintenance, it is a good car to travel in or just going to the store. I have used it in the mountains and I had little to no issues in the snow.

The back seats coming down is great for loading and long solo trips.
Uncomfortable seats. Not a smooth drive. Slow to speed up. Door space is not wide enough to get in and out. Backseats do not get enough air conditioning. Not enough leg space for passengers. Dodge nitro is actually a slow car, slower than the Toyota rav4.

I really haven't had any problems with my vehicle. My dodge delivers on performance, reliability and comfort, a few years ago I had to replace my heater motor, but other than that it has been a good vehicle. No other problems. My vehicle has about 77,000 miles.

Roomy vehicle gets you where you need to go.

Electric problems not worth it.
The pcm went out the battery blew up the alternator went out. The power outlet fried my phone so non stop electric problems not worth it. I lost two iPhones because the charger port destroyed them. And the coil packs went out all in the same week over 1000$ in fixing.

Perfect blend of Jeep and Hummer
I really love my vehicle. Performance is great, very reliable. Unfortunately Comfort is not the greatest, rides pretty hard and seating is hard especially in the back. The bottom of the back seat is not very wide for being a SUV. Tether points come in very handy for hauling and securing cargo.

Great vehicle overall just had a few issues but it was a pretty reliable car.
The dodge is a great car to get to and from work.It's great on gas mileage, however I did have to take it into the shop for tires leaking and bad sensors. It seemed like there was always something going wrong with it. My interior leather seats started to crack and the crom started to peel off. It does not have a touch screen it is just a normal old fashion screen. Loved that it has cruise control. I was able to haul around my giant dog in the back. Lots of room and space for moving hauling and taking people wherever they needed to go.

Dodge nitro: remarkable vehicle with great leg space.
I enjoy the reliability of driving the dodge nitro. I have had the truck for 7 years, and it remains reliable with minimal issues to this day, despite the fact that I have put over one hundred thousand miles on it since I first bought it. The inside is very comfortable, as it comfortably seats five people and provides ample room for everyone's legs. I am a college athlete, so during the last 7 years I have had a lot of tall people in the truck and we've been satisfied with the amount of space that we have to maneuver when we're in there. It came with many optional features that I didn't spring for, but the option of having the SiriusXM radio and a bunch of other add-ons comes with the purchase of the truck. As far as problems go, I have not had any major issues with the truck so far. My wiper fluid pump became clogged and I had to get it replaced about a year ago, but this is all that I can really think of in terms of major repairs.

Great vehicle for outdoors user
The driving is really smooth but the one thing that I would really like is cruise control the vehicle does not have cruise control. I like that the back seats do come down and if has more room into the back it is perfect for when I am going out fishing with my family or just have my dog with me the one experience that I have you is bad wiring my back tailgate light is not working and I cannot seem to find anybody to figure it out.

2011 dodge nitro heat love it or hate it.
I really like my nitro but when it hit 100,000 miles it started to go downhill! Problems with all kinds of stuff and of course it was after the warranty ran out and our extended warranty didn't cover it! I do not love that it only gets 19 miles per gallon but I love the look on the inside and outside! The way it drives the high it sets up off the ground.

2011 dodge nitro overview.
Good reliable truck, main problem has been breaks personally. Spacious and comfortable. Drives well. Overall a decent vehicle. Handbrake gets stuck sometimes. Base model has little to nothing but ok if you're low maintenance. If you're not looking for a bunch of extra add ons you'll do well with this truck.

Body style looks good and is nice SUV.
The nitro has some issues the plastic fenders the accelerator issues and the heater and ac does not properly work. The nitro should have made all models four wheel drive. It also can flip over very easy the Dodge copied the Jeep and only made nitro certain years. It could've been better built since it is Dodge.

Nitro isn't that bad of vehicle.
It has minor issues that if had been took care of initially wouldn't be that bad now. The coil packs seem to go out somewhat often and need replacing and there are issues with electrical in the power windows and door locks. The other issues are from neglecting the upkeep and are generally cosmetic.

4 wheel drive breaks down a lot. The tires are always needing replaced. The air conditioner has had to be replaced and so has the front and back breaks. It is very comfortable though and has a lot of space in it. The trunk is really big and good vehicle for vacations or long drives.

A Great Ride- Dodge Nitro
My Dodge Nitro runs great! I have had the vehicle for almost 2 years now and have not had any major issues or problems with the vehicle. My Nitro is very reliable to take me anywhere, from work to out of town trips. I have driven the vehicle over 1000 miles on one road trip, and I was so pleased at how reliable it has been. I love the added amenities of the sun roof, large hatchback trunk, and fold-down back seats. The car is easy and smooth to drive, with comfortable seats and great AC/Heat. I would recommend this car to anyone in search of a comfortable, reliable vehicle.

My vehicles drives very nicely and smooth. I had to replace one of my front lights the other day. When I bought my vehicle it was in good shape and still is. It was really worth buying. It sometimes runs hot so it can sometimes get annoying having to turn my vehicle off and wait for it to cool off if there is or is not any antifreeze.

I love the roomy feeling of this vehicle. I have 2 small children so I have plenty of room in the back seat for 2 car seats with room for another person to sit comfortably in the back. The hatchback has so much room for a stroller and groceries. I use this vehicle every day. There are so many safety features great for kids. Seat belt safety sensor detects seatbelts so it's a great reminder to buckle up. It's very comfortable drives great no problems.

Great car overall, blind spots on either side to be aware of.
The dodge nitro gets great gas mileage, it is comfortable, roomy, and great for families. No major issues in the past three years, and easy, not expensive to fix. Overall great car. The back seats fold down to allow room for large objects. I have bought and transferred a wardrobe there are blind spots on either side, driver and passenger side so you need to double check when backing up or turning. The car has a system that beeps when backing up to avoid hitting anything.

2011 Dodge nitro pros and cons.
The car drives very well. Only problem we have had with it was the tailgate not registering that it was closed, but was an easy fix. Handles very nice, but seems a little touchy for my taste. It has cruise control but when I am driving on the highway it does not want to speed up as fast as I would like it to.

It drives great, smooth and it's very spaces.
My vehicle has a blind spots on the front dash window. I am 5 feet tall and I already place my seat all the way to the wheel and I am still seeing myself stretching to view. There's no side handles on the driver and front passenger side either. My grandmother and other passengers have trouble climbing up.

I have had nothing but problems with this car since I have gotten it. Two tire pressure sensors have gone out, my engine light would not go off and now the abs and trac control light wont go off. I hate this truck and so glad they don't make it anymore.

I am happy with my decision to buy the 2014 dodge nitro.
Had issues with the power steering pump leaking and the e brake light keeps coming on and off. I was impressed last year during the snow and how well it handled. Gas mileage seems pretty good as well as pick up. I loved it the moment I test drove it and wanted something that had 4 wheel drive. I would have liked heated seats as well.

It is a reliable vehicle. Hardly any maintenance. Second owner of a 2011 had it going on 2 years. We little or no problem. Still have the original tires just had to change them yesterday. Will recommend a purchase of this vehicle. It is a low budget vehicle and can always be customize to you personally. I am a grand mother of 3 and am able to take the to school, after school program, and soccer practice.

Dodge nitro, has some problems but an overall good SUV.
There have been a lot of mechanical issues with the vehicle. The breaks have had a lot of issues and needed to be replaced completely. The car does idle rough and sometimes sounds like it is going to die. The acceleration is not too good either. The radio has stopped working and I believe the control panel needs to be replaced. The car is excellent in the snow only if it is in 4wd. It is a very comfortable car and I appreciate the size of it. The vehicle is able to tow a lot of weight. Although the SUV is not a large SUV, you can pack it full of a lot of stuff which makes it an excellent option when using it to move items such as moving your belongings from one house to another. I would have liked to see vents for the air and the heater in the back seat. Sadly one of the windows is having issues rolling up. But it did get in a hail storm with golf ball size hail and the windshield was spared because it is not as slanted. This vehicle does go through a lot of gas that's for sure. Overall, I have been delighted with this vehicle. It has been perfect for me with my family. I can fit three kids in the back seat comfortably. That was one of the reasons why I chose this car and ended up buying it. I like that it is heavy enough to slow it down if I take my foot off the pedal.

My clock always loses time. I've had to replace the battery two times. It hasn't needed any major repairs yet. It drives comfortably. It is a bit tight in the back with my three children.

I love my Nitro - fully loaded, leather interior, easy to handle no issues. I did have to replace the air conditioner and it kept producing hot air however the repair shop got it fixed after months of taking it back time and time again.

For a family of 4 it is a great size and trunk space. It is roomy and easy to drive. Few years back there was a recall for airbags but still enjoy safety features. One thing, though and it's probably with larger vehicles is the amount of gas it spends.

I love my cars features like the heated seats, sunroof and touchscreen radio but the gas mileage kills my wallet. A 30 minute drives takes about half a quarter a tank and it takes almost $50 to fill it up, but other than that I absolutely love it. Do not buy if you are a broke college kid.

The dodge nitro, is an affordable car that can still perform in luxury.
It is pretty boxy and can easily be difficult to handle in high winds, but it get really good gas mileage and seats 5 people relatively comfortably. The hatchback it very roomy and can easily carry quite the load of groceries or camping gear. Also the upkeep for the vehicle is relatively easy.

Purchased it new and have owned it 8 years now! Until recently I never had an issue and now it is only the a/c not getting as cold. The mileage is not the best with 18 why & 15 in town & the low profile tires get less than ideal traction but the turn radius is about as sharp as it gets!! It has a 3.7 v6 with plenty of get up and go, heated leather seats, sunroof, navigation panel & more! Love my shock!

2011 dodge nitro heat review.
My dodge nitro is pretty reliable. It has cloth seats but they are heated which is a nice feature. It is a 4 wheel drive so works well in snow even though it does not have a lot of ground clearance. The car has the latch system in the backseat so car seat installation is pretty easy. All in all I would probably buy it again.

I love my car because it's compact spacious and has the best material throughout the car. I'm obsessed with the sunroof. Great on gas.

Twenty inch rims model kind of looks like a range rover.
Nice small SUV good sound system 20 inch rims very nice model reliable through the winter very pretty for the summer. 4 wheel drive nice tinted windows in the back.

The 4 wheel is nice in the winter. You gave to keep good tires on the vehicle or else it will slip and slide in the rain or snow.
The consol light do not stay on. The muffler system is starting to rust parts are falling off.

Good handling feels safe to drive.
This is a very good and comfortable vehicle. Good mileage, has sunroof and is roomy. Hold road very well, and great for long distance driving. Only problem is the tires are pretty pricey to replace, but once that is done, they last a good amount of time.

I really love my Dodge nitro.
Our nitro is very handy. It's not too big for when driving in the city and not to small for going on long trips, very comfortable. I thought it would be a bit top heavy but it corners nicely at a fast speed. It also has plenty of power when needed to pass cars! And it gets great gas mileage. My first trip I really ran it good just to see and got 18-20 mpg.

Great back seat storage options!
I have had a lot of repairs on my nitro. Have had to replace brakes, spark plugs three times and shocks. The gear shift has also been replaced due to factory recall. I have gotten great use out of it. I love the back row storage and space this vehicle holds. The stereo system is very nice and sounds great.

It is no longer made by Dodge, probably for a reason
Car has been reliable for the last 8 years. Does not have cruise control because that does not come standard. The axle seals tend to keep leaking which is my huge complaint.

Roomy and handles well but poor gas mileage.
I like my vehicle because it drives well and has a lot of room. It is also easy maintenance and dependable. But the biggest flaw I do not like is the gas mileage is horrible for my vehicle.

4 wheel drive. Satellite radio. Spacious.
I love this car. It is awesome in the snow with the 4 wheel drive. Plenty of space for trips and even more with the roof rack. The back seat is also spacious so no one is cramped. I have had trouble with the radio working. No one can figure out why. There's not even any static it is just no noise.

I like it because it is like a drive the truck without the gas mileage.
It is similar to a jeep. It sits up high it is got a nice smooth drive and I love it. That has four wheel drive. It is like driving a truck without the gas usage. It is big enough to be a family vehicle which I have three kids it fits them perfectly. I would recommend this vehicle's to any family.

Overall I like the look and durability, but hate the rough off road ride.
I love the look of the truck. The durability of it. The comfort of it. However it has a very rough ride. You feel every little bump. Also there are no vents for the back seat, which is inconvenient, for air conditioning and heat. The dashboard could've been a little more exciting as well.

The dodge nitro 2011 is a very nice car and it looks good.
I love the way it drives. It is good on gas. It is very spacious inside. It should have another outlet to charge your cell phone. There is only one in the whole car. The back seat does not let down. I wish the side view mirrors were automatic. It is a very good car and it looks great.

Is just a very spacious car and I love it.
My vehicle is very spacious, love the leather seats, it is a big enough car for my kids, I just do not like it because how when we start the car it sounds like it does not want to start, like it is the alternator or something like that, that is the only problem I have with the car.

It is a truck, so it is really hard on gas.
It is too big for my liking. It is always a tire problem, and is also really hard on gas especially in the summer time and when it is really cold outside. But overall it is comfortable for the other passengers. There is a lot of trunk space and a lot of nice compartments in the car as well. Also the brakes are horrible as well.

No problems, very roomy and comfortable. Drives smoothly and the 4 wheel drive is great. It has just enough features to be comfortable. The interior is well laid out and offers plenty of storage space throughout. I would like to see more phone charger plugs.

Dodge nitro 2011 sxt review.
Great for a first time vehicle! Just enough room for a mom with one child! I wish the back seat was a tad larger. I love the style and different packages of this vehicle. I really wish they still made these, because I would definitely buy another one.

My 2011 Dodge nitro gets great mileage.
I have had my vehicle for six years now and only had major trouble out of it once. So in all it is an awesome vehicle. The downside is it does not have to many features and its not roomy. It is just a regular old vehicle. The problem I had was when my fuel pump when out. They claimed my warranty would pay for it but it didn't. Also I had to replace my door and window on driver's side. Boy was that difficult. It took my husband almost 4 months and he still didn't get finished. I pretty much like my nitro but the longer I have it the more I wished I had got something else.

Cool 2011 Dodge nitro review..
My 2011 Dodge nitro is the best SUV that I have ever purchased, its great on gas, it has a cute shape, kind of like a range rover. It has power locks, alarm, nice stereo system, its the manufacturers stock, bit the speakers sound great, Sirius radio equipped, moon roof, and so much more.
