Handles like a car, but still feels very much like an SUV!
This is the 3rd Ford I have owned (f-150, expedition, and now the edge). I downsized from the expedition after my divorce to help save on fuel costs. What I love the most about it is that while it handles like a car I still feel like I am driving an SUV. You would never think it could haul so many things either, but I can assure you it does. I have fit myself, my 2 kids, 2 dogs and all our camping equipment/food for a 1 week trip in it! The rear seats fold down (60/40 split) nearly flat to create more cargo space when needed which is great. I also opted to have a tow-package installed and I haven't had any problems with it. We hauled a small trailer from south florida to minnesota and back for a family reunion too. While gas mileage went down for that trip because of towing, it really has maintained its mpg since I bought it over 6 years ago. It's easy to maintenance which is great and that's probably why it's still in such great condition. The only thing I do not like about it, is that the rear middle seat is pretty narrow. Other than that I have every intention of keeping it until it dies on me, which from the looks of it will not be for quite some time. Way to go ford!
