Review of my 2007 Ford edge.
I love my Ford edge. It is 4 doors and has sunroofs. It is comfortable and easy to drive. I have 280, 000 miles on my edge. I do routine maintenance (keep oil changes up to date). The only major repair was to replace the power train. When I get another car I plan to purchase a new edge.

The 2007 ford edge review.
I drive a 2007 ford edge. It drives nice and has plenty of room. I have had it for a little over two years now and the only issue I have had with it was a few recalls on a couple of parts. Serious parts actually; from airbags to the fuel injector. Overall it is a nice vehicle, I honestly recommend it.

It's the perfect size... Not too big, but big enough to haul the kids and all of those gears. It also is well made. Few maintenance issues.
This car has lasted so long with only minor problems. I have 236,000 miles on it. It only just started having problems and it's 11 years old.

This car has great performance and handling. The interior is great leather seats that are comfortable, loud and good audio system. This car drives really smooth never had any problems with this automobile since I've owned it fold down back seats for extra space and electric recline seats with super cold ac too.

Great family vehicle not a great winter vehicle for an SUV
Our 2007 Ford Edge is very comfortable and reliable. It is just the right size vehicle for a family of four. Has leather seat. It's does not have four wheel drive so it gets stuck in the snow very easily. The rear cargo area fits everything we need from going to baseball tournament and practices to dance competitions and practices. The windshield washer fluid dispenser quit working and the rear windshield wiper has fallen off. It gets very good gas mileage for drive on trips and to and from work.

Ford edge more like ford dull.
It does not run well, starts too rough, and the airbags went out a week or two after buying it. It is only had one owner before me. Not to mention, an all wheel drive edge takes up a lot of gas, and therefore, money. The radio does not always get signal and the seats are not all that comfortable.

2007 Ford Edge likes and dislikes
Tan cloth seats stain easy even from water. The blower doesn't work well and you can't really move the vents much to be effective. The car is roomy and the seats are comfortable. I like the keypad on the door so you can unlock the car without having the key in hand.

It has more room inside than you would think just by looking at it from the outside.
The Ford Edge is very roomy inside. It's reliable, and I have used it for 6 years now. It is an old car - over 10 years, but it is starting to have electrical problems - radio volume randomly going up and down, different alerts being shown on the dashboard, etc.

Super awesome to have an edge.
Great compensation. Comfortable seats but head rest is too far out. Dashboard well design and accessible no phone in this model. Radio features are easy the volume and changing keys are in the wheel also space for 6 CDs. Too expensive to fix, mechanics charge a lot.

Great vehicle for everyday use!
The vehicle is very reliable for my family. The performance is good but every now and again I experience issues with the powertrain in the vehicle. The dashboard would light up for a day or two. It happens about once a year, so it's not a big problem. The features in the vehicle are pretty much standard but good enough for everyday use. The seating could be a bit more comfortable (non leather material). Overall, the Ford Edge is great vehicle to own!

Plenty of space in my amazing Ford edge!
I love my Ford edge. It runs very smoothly and has a great turn radius. There is plenty of room in the back and the seats are easy to fold up for even more room. I also happen to be very tall (over six feet tall) and the driver's seat has plenty of space for me.

I absolutely love the space my cargo area has. My biggest dislike and complaint is gas mileage. I drive an hour just one way for work twice a week so better gas mileage would be a huge plus.

2007 Ford edge: why it is worth it.
The 2007 Ford edge is a very comfortable car and great for when the kids start to learn how to drive. With heated seating in the front you do not have to be worried about the winter. You can also save up to two preferences as to how you wish you seat and mirrors to go.

Bad luck with first buy
No. I bought my Edge in September 2019. First car, so much excitement! I actually spent all my money on a car that 1. Doesn't have heat, last winter was absolutely freezing, 2. Literally started having a melt down. That's right, my car OVER HEATED. God, it's so pretty and fancy and drives nice but don't buy this car if you want to spend more trying to fix its issues. 3. My transmissions been acting all wonky recently so there's another issue and 4. I STILL HAVE NO HEAT. Don't know what the issue is but I'm FREEZING STILL. I cry all the time, I hate my car.

Redesign interior front seats and steering wheel release bar.
Driver's seat is very uncomfortable. Dips down where it causes my butt/back to hurt --seat adjustments do no good. Need to remove console or re-design so as to make seat wider. Make adjustment for steering wheel better to operate hard for elderly to grab and an release control to adjust the steering wheel.

I've gotten my money's worth out for f my car. I bought it new n 2007, and after 11 years, t still rides nicely!
My Edge has 101K miles on it and while it had suspension issues after the warranty ran out, it has never left me stranded anywhere. It continues to run well. However it does lack a lot t f the recent technology in newer vehicles.

If you are looking for a bigger backseat for car seats, this is a great vehicle.
As a family of 4 with a golden retriever, the space in our edge is great. It easily fits 2 Graco 4-1 car seats with space for a booster or child in the middle. The vehicle itself runs great, drives smooth. We purchased our 07 edge in 2012 and have had no major issues in the 6 years we've had it.

It doesn't park well, the turning into a space is difficult.
The car is very roomy. The storage in back is a little lacking because the entire door opens so things can tumble out. It is currently having some issues mechanically, but is dependable.

I love my Edge! It is very roomy and so comfortable to drive on long trips. It is so quiet that sometimes I can't tell if I've turned it on. It has a lot of room to haul stuff even if you don't put the back seats down. I was able to fit a bunk bed, including the mattresses, in my Edge.

The performances are great, never left me stranded, engine runs great, only down flaw is the bearings need to be replaced frequently, otherwise love it, drives great in snow and I live in upstate NY and it can get pretty bad, all around great vehicle.

I really like my car it is a limited edition and is fully loaded. My car has a double sun/moon roof which I love. My car also has leather seats & seat worms that are great for clean up & in the winter. The only negative about my car is the MPG.

It is very comfortable from the seats to how spacious it is for its size. I like the heated seats during the winter and the position memory for the driver seat. Although the memory for the side mirrors is messed up and we always have to fix it since they move to different positions every time.

I really love my 2007 dark amethyst edge! I will purchase a Ford product again!
My edge has a sensor that has gone bad two times which makes the car “skip “ a little. This is especially bad between 50 - 55 mph. Once I replace the sensor it is great again. It started this around 60, 000 miles and again around 120, 000 miles. My car now has 130, 000 and great!

The steering wheel falls apart after awhile and the air does not blast that well.
The air conditioner goes out quite often and does not work that well. The interior is tan so it stains very easily and you can see them very well. But I like how spacious it is and the car is still running even though it is time to get a new car it still works.

The muffler has a hole, quite expensive to fix since you have to replace the entire pipe and can't just patch it. Other than that the car is absolutely amazing. The leather seats are still in beautiful shape. The CD player does stick sometimes but not to big of an issue.

If you're looking for lots of space/ legroom this isn't the car for you. If you want an affordable and economical vehicle you won't be dissatisfied.
Great on gas and it's a great little commute car. Big amount of trunk space for the size of the vehicle! Very reliable mine has over 200k miles and still running well. Comfortable, however I do wish there was a bit more leg room in the back. Only problems I have ever had is from age of the car but I suppose that's to be expected.

Family friendly SUV - very comfortable for long road trips and city driving.
The Ford edge is a very family friendly vehicle for our family of four. There is plenty of space for all of our things when we take a road trip and we do not feel cramped. The interior is simple but user friendly. We have not had many maintenance issues with the edge. Just your basic replacing of the headlights or turn signals, brakes, and oil changing. I have had to charge my air a few times, but all in all I have really enjoyed driving my vehicle. I would recommend the Ford edge for anyone out there looking for a mid-size SUV.

I hate the Ford dealer and the policies of not repairing but replacing everything that is wrong. Which makes it way too expensive to take care of the car with a Ford dealer.

2007 Ford Edge great and spacious vehicle
It's a great car and very spacious minus the air conditioning blows to low and has common misfire issue sometimes. Decent on gas. I love the double sunroof. It does have a bit of a ticking noise in the engine and has a passenger airbag recall that ford fixes for free but overall a good vehicle.

Ford edges out competition with reliable, smooth edge vehicle.
This car is very decent in the wintery weather of Michigan. All wheel drive is very reliable and gets you through the deepest snow allowable. A design flaw regarding the interior - when the rear windows are both down far enough, the pillow of air inside the moving car wobbles and begins to thump on your ear drums. The only solutions are to open more windows or close what is already open. Because of this wobble, the ceiling cover near the interior dome light has come disconnected and bounces when the car hits bumps. Heated seats are nice with the leather interior - again with the winter weather of Michigan! This model features the full-sized sunroof which opens at the touch of a button, even allowing for passengers in the back seat to see out while travelling.

The Ford Edge is super reliable!
I love my Ford Edge. It is a super comfortable ride. I drive a lot of gravel and it handles wonderfully on gravel. The only downside, is rocks sometimes get stuck in the breaks and make a horrible sound. This does not happen very often. It is great in the winter to. I live where there is a lot of snow and I can plow through quite a bit! I have had it for 9 years and has not been in the shop much!

Great car. Love the roominess and hauling capacity. The moon roof is great and covers both front, back seats and then some. Only a 2007 but had to replace ac already. In addition, Ford has recalled the drivers side air bags but cannot repair continually due to supply. One of the most popular vehicles on road today, should not be hard to have supplies.

Good outweighs the bad if you do not care about airbags.
My vehicle drives very nicely. I have never had a problem with slick roads even snow covered. It automatically switches power from the tire that loses it is grip on the road to another tire. It takes curves very smoothly and turns on a dime. The only feature I do not care for is the driver's seat has to be adjusted every time I get in the vehicle. I like to ride up high but if I leave the seat in a high position, when I get back in the vehicle I hit my head on the door frame. It is been very dependable and low maintenance. I received a recall on the front passenger airbag a couple of years ago. They are suppose to inform me when the parts are available to repair it. They anticipated their availability during the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2018. Well, I am still waiting.

I love the leather seats and the roomy interior. This mid-size SUV suits my needs without being too big. The vehicle does have some drawbacks. The dash is reflected in the windshield making it difficult to see while driving during the day.

A strong and well design vehicle
Not many problems. A few after sitting for 2 years but still a good car. Very spacious and drives very well. The visibility is the best part there is really no blind spots. It's pretty good on gas for being an SUV. Although I am a fan of darker interior but the lighter interior is less hot but it does leave a slight reflection on the windshield.

That it only recently, writhing the last 2 years, has been causing me issues.
The Ford edge rides very smoothly, looks sharp, gets decent gas mileage, and has been fairly reliable for the past 5 years. Unfortunately it is getting old and has been displaying signs of having a bad transmission. I have had multiple issues with batteries as well; everything from draining batteries to the battery cables going bad.

I bought my first brand new car and it had a funny noise in the front wheels.
My car makes a noise at the front wheels. The dealer said it was normal. Although I test drove some that did not make the noise. It also can't drive thru mud that is not deep. It feels like it does not have enough power. The inside is roomy enough and has enough storage.

Everything is great about the car except the transmission stutters sometimes. It has been a very reliable car. The seats are all electric and very comfortable to sit in for long drives. It's a big crossover truck but still small enough to fit into tight spaces.

The vehicle still os running while it needs manifold repair
My wife and I own a Ford Edge and are very satisfied with the vehicle. We have had minor problems such as brakes and tires. However now the vehicle has a manifold problem and is not running optimally. Because of where it is located engine must come apart and will cost in excess of $1500 according to my neighborhood Firestone

Awesome in the Winter and cool in the Summer
I love this vehicle so much. It's so easy to drive and really comfortable. It's really easy to use all the features like the GPS computer, Sirius Radio, Trip meter, etc. It tells me how many miles until my gas tank is empty. It's easy to adjust the seats and side view mirrors. My favorite feature is the remote car starter. It drives awesome in the winter. There were a lot of places I was used to my old jeep sliding at, and my Edge glides through with no problem. We get a lot of snow and they rarely plow our road, but I never get stuck. There's also a cool moonroof for the summer. Overall it's my favorite car I've ever owned.

It gets great gas mileage which is a plus for traveling.
It tends to have transmission concerns. I change the fluids often but there is a leak somewhere in the pipes, cannot seem to find out where. It gets great gas mileage which is a major plus when traveling. Power windows and auto lock is great safety features as well. Other than that it is ok.

It handles well, when in good shape, mechanically.
The take off, is very hesitant. Reliability is not so great. If you drive beyond 65 miles, all these lights, come on. I had the vehicle serviced, but it continues, to have the same problems. I had to get off the freeway, because the car, stalled on the freeway in the carpool lane however, when the vehicle is good; it is good.

It's a very reliable vehicle. Good performance and I like the SEL trim level a lot. The panoramic roof is amazing. It also comes stock with a great sound system and the option for satellite radio. The main issues with vehicle is rust developed on the rear panels and it has squeaky brakes even when changed to brand new brakes. Not sure what that issue is.

Love back seat release from back of car.
I love this vehicle and will probably buy another one when I do purchase another. It is just big enough that I am not cramped but not huge like driving a battleship. Gas mileage not horrible considering size of car. Had a few problems with rear engine seal but was immediately replaced through the warranty that I had when I purchased it.

It holds around 12 gallons of gas.
I love the amount of space for kids and equipment. I enjoy the leather interior. I especially like having a CD player and air conditioning!

I love my truck, it's very spacious, fuel efficient and fun to drive. There isn't really anything that I dislike about it. I will probably get another one when this one gets too old.

The Ford Edge is a reliable, roomy, and a SUV that has been in my family for over 10 years with no major issues.
My Edge has been reliable. It gets great gas mileage. It has enough room for my family of 4.

Cruising’ with the sunroof open!
So far my car seems to be pretty reliable with low mileage. I love my sunroof and my leather seats! Gas mileage is not really the best, but that is okay. The stock radio is excellent and loud with a nice bass, perfect for performing during those long road trips!

That I take especially good care of it.
When I first saw these cars on the street I liked them and never thought I would have one of my own. It drives really well. I have had it almost 2 years now and it is almost purchased. It is only had to put in the shop twice since I had it but it is really reliable and I will not be traded it in anytime soon.

It's very safe and i love how smooth it rides and the maintenance doesn't kill me
It's very reliable gets me where i want to go and it's very good on gas and it doesn't require any nig shop repair

So far the most comfortable vehicle I've ever owned.
I love this vehicle. It is spacious and allows for plenty of room without being oversized. So far my only complaint would be the navigation system requiring disks to word. The dealership that I purchased from made no mention about needing one or updating them, and I later found out that's upwards of 100$ per cd.
