2004 ford escape from a mail carrier's perspective.

2004 Ford Escape XLT

I deliver mail out of my 2004 ford escape on a very rural route. It is a durable vehicle with few problems. Being in southwest Virginia, we have snow storms and this vehicle has performed very well in the snow. The only downfall is the relatively small amount of ground clearance. There is an abundance of cargo space, especially when the rear seats are folded flat. The gas mileage is decent, averaging about 15 miles per gallon on a very stop and go route.

Great car, minor setbacks.

2004 Ford Escape XLT

I really love the size of my SUV, it is not too big or too small, it is perfect for me and my dogs. I have had to have standard engine work done on it and the most annoying part is that they usually have to take the engine out completely to get to things that are in need of repair or needing to be checked, like the alternator or a set of coils. Overall it is a great car, very sturdy and it has decent gas mileage.

Very sturdy vehicle, plus very comfortable and stylish.

2004 Ford Escape XLT

I love most everything about this SUV. The only thing that has happened is the alternator went out and was very expensive to repair cause of it being placed between the motor and the firewall. Other than that I cannot think of anything I would change. My Escape has over 200,000 miles on it still going strong

Ford Escape: Years of reliability

2004 Ford Escape XLT

Overall a great car. Comfortable seats, back seats even recline. Features a sunroof, power windows, airbags and more. Over the years I have owned it I have replaced the alternator, suspension parts including inner tie rod ends, gaskets, brakes and tires. No major issues. Great gas mileage and runs good.

Great on gas. Spacious. Reliable vehicles

2004 Ford Escape XLT

Great on gas, performance and comfort. Affordable maintenance. I enjoy driving my vehicle. Excellent traveling comfort. Great tires. Plenty of room in the hatch for groceries. Spacious. Seatbelts are kid friendly. Not too big. Not too small. Just right. Kids feel safe and secure. Factory radio os great.

Ford escape lets you enjoy your drive.

2004 Ford Escape XLT

It is very comfortable and good on gas. It has some electrical issues but I think that comes with age. The leather is very easy to clean and the carpeting as well. I would definitely recommend this car to any first time drivers. The drive is very smooth, in the center console is very well constructed.

My 2004 ford escape; a great vehicle.

2004 Ford Escape XLT

My 2004 ford escape has nearly all available upgrades and is very comfortable. It has the v6 engine, runs good, and is the perfect size for urban or rural driving, including long trips. I have had no problems and plan to enjoy driving it for more years to come.

Good old silver girl that runs good and has plenty inside space

2004 Ford Escape XLT

Car still runs good after it having so many miles. The only thing is would've hoped the passenger's door also had a keyhole and the trunk door. Other than that the car does heat up every now and then but I think that's just because it's an old car already.

Simple but reliable is a ford escape.

2004 Ford Escape XLT

My SUV was great until 120,000 miles. After that everything started going. We put in over $2500 to fix things. Before that, it ran great. It is a very reliable truck just plain and boring looking. It does it is purpose to be more roomy than a standard car.
