My car is very reliable. It works every time. They say fords are cold but mine is not. It is fully loaded so I am looking forward to the heated seats this winter. It is a wonderful car so far and I wouldn't take anything for it. The seats are the most comfortable things in it.

Over 260,000 miles and still running strong.
As long as I keep the oil changed when I am supposed to I have had no problems. A small issue did occur with the air conditioning not blowing cold air, a quick trip to my local mechanic and he fixed it right up. Very easy to work on. Plenty of room to haul cargo when the seats are laid all the way down, very easy to convert.

It is dependable. It has amazing quality exterior, and comfortable interior.
I have been more than pleased with my ford escape. It has been completely dependable for me and has gotten me served me many miles of adventures. I never have to worry about its reliability and am fully confident in its abilities. I feel complete confit in it as it is not too big or too small but the perfect size. I have yet to be unimpressed with its features or performance. I have yet to have any problems with it. I am so glad to be the owner of such a good vehicle.

2010 ford escape limited review.
A car that gets the job done, and has great gas mileage. There is plenty of space in the back, and the seats fold down very easily to allow for more space. I can easily load up my 115 lb great Pyrenees in the back alone. It drives well in all weather conditions, and has an off road option that I use when roads are icy or snowy.

Good economy model vehicle for those on a budget.
Good handling and reliability, with only a few minor maintenance issues over the last ten years. Poor acceleration with only a 4 cylinder engine, but overall handles well in most weather conditions. Basic features and amenities, with no USB ports and poor Bluetooth connection.

Excellent and reliable car!
My car has over 200,000 miles on it. So far, I am still very impressed! I just had some maintenance done to it to make sure everything is sound; this included battery replacement, transmission flush and oil change. Everything looked good according to the dealer. It is an excellent car and very comfortable!

The comforts of the 2010 ford escape from a women.
The space in the vehicle is really nice for my family of 5. Also enough room for grocery shopping. The movement to get the driver seat comfortable is a little tricky because I am kind of short. The heat gets going pretty quickly which is great for me in the winter, nothing worse than being cold waiting for your vehicle to warm up. The factory stereo that comes with the vehicle is really good quality.

It is been a great car! I would buy it again. We have run into some problems with recalls but it was fixed. The transmission went out or something and had to be fixed but for the most part the car is reliable and I would but this model again if I had too.

Good vehicle, would recommend.
I have not had any mechanical issues with the vehicle. My only complaint would be that when driving, sometimes it can seem loud inside the cabin and I have difficulty hearing the people that are in the vehicle with me. Other than that it is a good, safe vehicle. I would buy another when it is that time.

2010 ford escape, a nice blend of comfort and practicality.
My ford escape is fairly reliable. I am sitting at 175,000 miles and I haven't had many issues thus far. The only issues I have had was a belt and a pulley snapping, my air conditioning going out due to a hose leaking (just the cooling, heat still works) and that it is fairly loud due to the tires. Having off-roading tires on this vehicle makes it quite loud while driving, however outside of that it handles quite well. The gas mileage is pretty okay, getting about 315 miles per full tank, and it is not too expensive to fill up completely. Features are nice as it has satellite radio, am/FM, a CD player and an aux cord input. Seats are comfortable with electronic adjustments on the drivers side, and a deep middle console for storage. Pretty large trunk area for storage, and the seats can lay completely flat to give more space.

A summary of 2010 ford escape.
My ford escape has been a great vehicle providing comfort and reliability for a decade now, I have had minimal issues with performance, and it has been the most reliable car I have ever owned with the fewest breakdowns. It is a comfortable vehicle that sits a little higher than a car providing great visibility, but it is not as bulky as a full-sized SUV. It offers many of the benefits of an SUV without the size. It rides comfortably and is outfitted with all the features I enjoy including a CD player, and charger for my cell phone.

Reliable car good for family use.
My car is older and it is not in the best condition because someone stole it a few years ago and crashed it into a tree. Without the wear and tear it would still be a good car. We have had the car for quite sometime and it has been reliable on trips to other states.

My car had many great features.
I absolutely love my car. Love that it has seat warmers, great for the cold. I like that I could connect my phone via Bluetooth. Makes it easy when I receive a call while driving. Another feature that I like is that it lets me know how many miles I could go before I am out of fuel. It also lets me know the percentage life of the oil.

2010 ford escape XLT review.
This sport utility vehicle is comfy, roomy and nimble. It has proven to be very reliable with minimal maintenance other than frequent oil changes. This SUV is also AWD and is amazing in the snow as well as the dirt. This SUV has been a blessing to us for over 5 years.

My car is right for me, and I would recommend it to others.
I really love my car. The only problem is that everything is computerized, so when my power steering went out I had to drive it like that to the dealership and they had to reset the system. Gas is really good on the car. I love the interior on my car. I would've preferred it to be cotton instead of leather, but it is still comfortable. The features are very nice. I have blind spot mirrors that are very helpful.

The tailgates on the 2010s do tend to rust.
I have had a great experience, I have only ever. Owned a ford. I have had to make some minor repairs, replaced throttle body, and a few other things. It gets fairly good fade. Mileage. I am also able to fit all my kids in the back seat, however when they were in boosters/car seats it was a snug fit.

Small car with big capabilities.

It's a great family car to have.
We just got the car because we have a baby on the way and I love it. Theres alot of space and for me safety is the top thing for me I think it's safe for a family car. Ford escape is great on gas.
Great on gas, lots of room, seats fold down easily only thing wrong is the ford interior from this year it can't be cleaned and stains easily. The spare tire is also hard to get to if it rusts underneath. Overall it's a great SUV. Mine has 210k miles and runs great.

The instrument panel and letting us know of a problem
It is big enough to haul grandkids and groceries at the same time. It gets great gas mileage. 2010 ford escape, my dependable.
My ford escape has been super reliable, economical and can handle anything I put it through. The AWD (all wheel drive has never let me down. The fuel mileage has been the same as the estimate that was on the window sticker and sometimes better. The only problem I have had with my SUV it a leak around the back glass in the lift gate.

It has a moon roof, ac and radio, which I never had before.
This is a great vehicle. It is the smallest crossover you can get from the Ford family and I really love this car. It drives well, it is low maintenance, I have not had major issues at all and I have put a lot of miles on it in a short amount of time. The only issue I have had is that the ac/heat only works on full blast, the lower settings do not produce air in the car, but that is just something I need to get fixed.

Ford Escape are good vehicles. It's has a lot of helpful features but they are always on a recall.
My vehicle was very expensive to buy. Come to find out that is was a show car so I kind of got screwed in a deal. However, I do love my escape. I love how it tells you how many miles you have left until empty. I like how it can tell you if you have low tire pressure. It's a fuel flex so it good on gas. My motor did go out on it though. I had some busted tires. Right now, I need to get some important things fix such as my exhausted system and alignment. My vehicle has been through a lot but it drives good to me.

Ford escape: super reliable with a cool rearview mirror.
I love my ford escape. It is very reliable in all weather, whether it is raining, snowing, super windy, anything! The brake system is also great, and I never have to worry if I will be able to stop in time. I am on my own, and occasionally take people out with me, and there is plenty of space in the car that allows everyone, including myself to be comfortable. One of my favorite features regarding my comfort is how quickly the a/c cools the vehicle down on hot days. Another feature I really love is the rear parking aid. The camera 'screen' is located on the rearview mirror, which makes it great, and safe, for me to use my mirror and my camera when I drive in reverse. The only issue that I really have with the vehicle is more of a preferential concern, and that is the lower gas mileage. But with all the other great features of my escape, I wouldn't trade it for better gas mileage if I lost all the good features.

Ford escapes. Are they worth it?
It is comfortable and it looks good. My main problems are that the computer chips are failing, so there is always a light on telling you that something is wrong when it is not. Also, no air conditioning and the brake pads have a lot of rust on them. It needs a minimum of $1500 worth of work done.

My favorite thing about my escape is the keyless entry on the door!
The liftgate hatch is broken due to wear and tear of the car, but I find that a lot of people have this issue where it starts to corrode away. I do really like my car, and the issues I have from it are probably just normal things people experience from wear and tear.

The performance of my car has been great. Not many problems from the car. The wheel bearing has went out and the air conditioner has broke but no other problems. The keypad on the side of the driver door is great because you can never lock your keys in the car. That has saved me multiple times from locking the keys in the car. The stereo system is great quality in the car.

Great on gas. Have had problems with it stalling out while driving. Code says it is the purge valve. That is the only problem we have had. Drives smooth. Again gas mileage is great. Seats are comfortable. Ac and heat work great. Very spacious. Fits 5 people.

Easy to drive, fast, comfortable and works perfectly as my "Escape Pod"
So far I have really enjoyed my Escape. It has taken rough roads, country roads and the wet roads in Seattle with ease. My only complaint is that I prefer arm rests in the front seat that go up and down. The stock stereo is not very good either but I do have a 2010.

A great car and I am happy with it. 11 years old and it is still running, great.
I bought the car in 2009 and haven't had any major issues. One brake job and replaced tires several times. It just passed inspection and mechanic told me I could get nearly 10 more years out of it. Sounds good to me so I'll keep it until it runs down naturally. It still looks great and runs smoothly.

Decent car ditch around the 10 year mark.
It is been a pretty reasonable maintenance vehicle but after the 10 year mark. It sputters apart. I believe it is a 10 year car then trade in or ditch you will save yourself a lot of tough decisions. Other than that I enjoy the stability in tough weather.

All of the vehicles in my model year have rust on the passenger side.
The car runs well and has been dependable regarding the engine. However it has a significant amount of rust externally and in areas that affect the suspension and sound in the cab. In addition, the back window hinges completely deteriorated. Again, regarding the engine, and I will add comfort is wonderful.

This vehicle is extremely reliable. I enjoy the smooth ride and great gas mileage. I have taken many road trips with this vehicle and have enjoyed the process due to the many great features such as SiriusXM built in and Bluetooth. The only problem is that there is a computer error that states “oil change required” that needs to be addressed.

It has 5 seats and tons of room in the trunk, perfect for travelling.
It is very comfortable. Sun roof and inside lighting that you can change the colors (e.G. Blue, red, purple etc.). Music quality is quite good and it has Sirius XM capabilities. It is quite reliable, despite the fact that it is 10 years old. I have had to take it in for maintenance issues here and there, but it usually drives without issue.

Ford manufactures a reliable balanced sport utility vehicle.
The car runs smoothly. The car can carry four people in the back seat and has space for storage in the back of the truck or trunk. The front seat is pretty spacious. Make sure your sensors are installed appropriately, so they are not overly sensitive to environmental frequencies or sound. Also, the car drives on about 19 miles per gallon. So if you are use to some of the car manufacturers like Honda, Nissan and Toyota like I had been previously, which generally ride on 35 miles per gallon. This car may sound like a gas guzzler compared to those manufacturers. The sport utility has good handling. For example when you turn sharp or narrow corners like on a narrow turnabout on the highway, you still feel like you are still in control of operating the vehicle. Today, all cars are expensive aside from the luxury cars, which are beyond expensive, but this vehicle is a lot more reasonable than some other sport utility vehicles.

Faulty sensors but great vehicle
The biggest issues I have faced with the car are faulty sensors. The engine and tire pressure sensors randomly come on and go off with nothing actually being wrong with the car. Other than that, the car is easy to drive and take care of. It has great gas mileage for a 9 year old vehicle.

Gas mileage is wonderful and I know exactly when I will need to fill the tank each week and how much driving I will need to do.
I like the size, driving functions and gas mileage. I wish it had a back up function for viewing.

The ford escape is a great reliable vehicle.
I absolutely love this car. This is our second ford escape and it is a great vehicle. It is great on gas, great for anyone with kids. Travels great. Lots of room so it does not feel crowded. It is super reliable. I never have to worry about it possibly breaking down on the side of the road.

It is amazing and I love it.
My vehicle is amazing! It has gotten through so much weather such as snow, ice, sleet, rain and storms! It is very good on gas and has had very little issues! It is a very comfortable vehicle to own. The features are fabulous for a 2010 vehicle! It is super comfortable for long road trips.

Great car until something goes wrong.
Overall, I really like this car. My mom had an older model that I really liked so that is why I got this one. It is very comfortable, drives well in the snow, and provides a lot of space for both passengers and cargo. The seats are comfortable and I like how high the car sits off the ground. Everyone in my family drives Ford cars, so I definitely have a brand preference when it came to looking at a car for myself. I bought my 2010 Ford Escape used so the following issues may be due to how the previous owner took care of the car. When I first bought this car, I would be driving and the car would completely shut off and I could not accelerate or even rev the engine. I took it to a Ford dealership to be looked at and it took them over three visits to figure out what the problem was. It was very troubling driving a car that kept shutting off while driving. The problem ended up being the catalytic converter. I also recently had an issue with the serpentine belt and that had to be replaced. Although I love this car when it is not having issues, now that I am writing down all of the issues I would definitely do my research before buying this car again. Like I said before, it may just be my specific car, but the issues are definitely not something I enjoy dealing with.

My escape review - a good family car.
Every single one I have seen (including mine) rusts over the rear wheel area. Very reliable so far - have taken it on many road trips. A lot of room. Added my own seat warmers that plug into the 2 jacks. Hopefully it will last for when my daughter starts driving.

Ford Escape hybrid: great on gas, great car overall
I've taken this car everywhere and it's been great. I love the size and the function. Overall a great car, not to mention great on gas. It takes maybe 25 to fill up on almost empty and lasts for over a week. I love my car! Also the little details like sunroof, lighting, and trunk features are great

I like the color of my car. I like the four wheel drive. I do not like how it does not have Bluetooth.

2010 ford escape with 160 thousand miles with mild repairs done.
I have had trouble with dashboard warning lights showing up without there actually being any issues with the car. I have had accelerator issues which caused my car battery to die multiple times. The car itself is quite comfortable to sit in and there is a good amount of room in the trunk making it possible to put many objects in the car. The gas mileage is something I really like about the car because a little bit can go a far way in this car.

A mini SUV with great features.
One of the many features that the should have are heated seats. The SUV handles well in ice and snow but, not as well in rain. Heat's up quickly even for the passengers in the rear of the vehicle. The rear defroster and windshield blade are wonderful to have and amazingly have lasted. The rear seat cushions can be removed and then the seats can be laid flat. A great feature when moving large and bulky items.

It is AWD and it is great in the snow and rain!
I have had my car for almost 9 years. I have had recalls on it but Ford has been quick to fix them. My back hatch is currently having a problem opening every time; however, these are the type of small issues I have had. Overall, good car. Could have better gas mileage.

The 2010 ford escape is a great and reliable vehicle. It is rugged on the outside, while comfortable and spacious inside. The limited edition offers leather seats, Bluetooth, and a sunroof. It is an affordable vehicle with all the bells and whistles of a much more expensive vehicle.

Top first car choice for an SUV.
Flex plate was extremely damaged and needed replacement, was necessary to take apart entire transmission. Exhaust rusted and fell off entirely. Low fuel mileage comparatively. Vehicle is very reliable, but starter or ignition seems to be damaged and may need replaced soon as well. Handling is very good, and is very practical/spacious.

I have just a basic package of a car no special details or anything about it.
No performance problems very reliable could be a little bit more comfortable. I have kept up on all oil changes and other normal maintenance issues. I have really never had any problems out of my vehicle or had to do any major repairs as of yet. I love my escape.

The most important thing about the car is that it safely transports my family and me where we need to go.
It has been a good vehicle thus far. I don't like that it doesn't have air vents in the back seats. It is also having a liftgate issue currently.

Reliable but no get up and go.
The power steering sensor went out and was recalled but the recall expired. Other than that I have had no issues just keep up on regular maintenance. Not the best winter weather car unless you had studded winter tires. The vehicle does not go up hills very well without rising rpm's quite a bit.

My likes and dislikes based on 4 months of driving and 146000 miles.
Transmission tends to shifts hard unless you drive it at a certain rpm. The interior and inside trim is awesome and spacious for me as I have 2 little ones and flea mkt quite a bit. Comes with a Microsoft computer to Bluetooth any Bluetooth capable device and one of my favorites is the interior lights have a button to change the color from a range of cool colors.

Very good starter vehicle.
Very comfortable. Nice features. So far has been a reliable car to get me around town. Haven't had any problems yet. I love the sync voice feature. The leather seats and sunroof are a great edition. Leather seats makes clean up with two kids easy. Plenty of space for the little ones and necessities.
