Very good gas mileage and easy to work on.

The Ford escape is very reliable easy to drive, overdrive for driver, Bluetooth for phones, accommodates large and tall people, front seats lay completely down. The backseats one side is larger than the other side. Both back seats lay completely down for more tailgate room, bottom part of the seats will completely come out of the car and there is more storage space when the seats are taken out, the tailgate opens wide and the back glass also opens on its own for easy loading storage in the back for tools or other things to store, side pockets on all doors and in the rear gate area soft cloth seats nicely padded and comfortable. Different nice colors and a roof rack.

It is so fun to drive and a great family vehicle!

The only issues I have had with my vehicle are the tire pressure sensors going out. They are sensitive and the display does not say which one is out. I haven't had any performance issues with my vehicle, it is really comfortable and reliable. The air conditioner and heater work great! I do wish there were air vents in the back for the kids, but usually if I point the center vents toward the back, they feel it just fine. This model has a sun/moonroof, which I love on warmer days. This vehicle is easy to use and gives you that feel of a bigger car without feeling like you are hogging the road. I also love the AWD feature as it gets icy and snows were we live.

Ford Escape, a great ride with pricey weird issues.

Overall I would say the car is a great car to drive. When it comes to reliability though, I have had more mundane issues with the car than normal wear and tear issues. The vehicle is a pricey to upkeep with the random weird issues. Example of one was my clock froze and GPS does not connect to the satellite. The issues were caused by the same part that could cost $800 plus $450 labor. So I elected to use a phone for both when driving. Otherwise, the features are great, the car is extremely comfortable. Just beware of the extras that will cost in repairs. I recommend the maintenance package if you buy a Ford because of my experiences.
