Overall the best vehicle ever made.

I recently bought a 2017 ford escape, I have bought ford escape since 2004. I have never had any problems with escape. I absolutely love driving my escape, the smoothest most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. I have never worried about my escape breaking down, in my opinion the escape is very reliable. One feature is awesome, lumbar support and the seats can be turned on and the seat gets comfortable warm, and great lumbar support which can be turned on or off. Another feature I love is the backup screen, I can just look at the screen and I can backup safely. I love another feature is I could set the screen up to answer my phone without having to pick up my phone, I just touch the screen and I answer my phone. Also the back of my escape has it where I pass my foot under the back door and it opens, I think that is an awesome feature, because I have my hands full I do not have to put down whatever I am carrying. The windshield wipers are something I have never seen before, the wipers are on the outside of each end and they cross as they are wiping and they are longer than the wipers of most vehicles. Another feature I have never seen before on the dashboard there's a compass. I am probably partial but I will not buy any other vehicle.

The ford escape is a very reliable, economic and great ride.

I haven't had any problems with my SUV so far. Very reliable. From a dead stop it will increase in speed real well for instances like passing another car. I really like the power seat and the visibility. Lots of room to haul things. Even with the larger engine it gets very consistent good gas mileage. I love the sync feature as I use hand controls so I cannot be reaching or doing anything other than driving. The sound system is great. The heating & air conditioning working really well both here in AZ and back in WI. I had an older escape where the back window opened separately from the hatch. I do wish these newer models still had that feature. Love all the different storage areas and the extra places to plug in my electronic devices. The style of the SUV is very nice comfortable and I have had many compliments. It rides real nice. It handles great under all different conditions including snow and ice, even without 4-wheel drive. I basically purchased this SUV because I had one several years ago and missed it so much I had to get a new one. Everything is generally nicer than my old one and it gets better gas mileage so that is a big plus. I would definitely recommend the ford escape. It is fun to drive!

My Favorite Vehicle Ever Purchased!

I have had very few problems with my Ford Escape. One of the headlight/turning signal housings was protruding awkwardly but Ford promptly replaced it at no charge. This is our first SUV and we have found it rides comfortably and so easy to get in and out of. I have all my maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation) done at the local Ford dealership where I purchased the Escape brand new in 2017. The local dealer has been very helpful, answering any and all of my questions. Concerning vehicle operating features. The booklet that accompanied the new car is also easy to understand and has been helpful in answering some of my minor questions. I have always owned vehicles manufactured by US corporations such as GM and Ford. After GM ripped of the federal government during its bailout, I have purchased exclusively Ford products and will continue to do so. I have never owned a vehicle manufactured by a foreign auto corporation. I only have 34,000 miles that leaves 2,000 more on the warranty but purchased a 100,000 mile extended warranty. At my age, this should maybe be my last purchase of a vehicle. Or, the good Lord willing, maybe one more. And it will be a Ford.

An interesting feature about the vehicle is. It monitors your driving habits.

I really like the 2017 Ford Escape. It is fuel efficient and drives very smooth which is a plus. The back seat is spacious enough for 2 kids car seats. As well as the back seats being able to recline to whatever setting you like. The car includes apple carplay you just plug your phone in with the car Charger and have access to all your music. Apple car play also allows you to use your GPS navigation installed on your phone and shows it on the navigation screen. The buttons on the steering wheel allow for you to change your music and volume. As well as connecting your phone to Bluetooth to answer calls. Phone calls are easy to answer or hang up with a simple click of a button on the steering wheel. There is also an integrated voice system it works much like Siri. My favorite thing about the car is the hatch is able to open easily with your foot. This is especially helpful when your loading groceries. The key allow you to remotely start your vehicle and open the hatch with a quick press of a button. All of the seats are adjustable to whatever comfort level suits you. Over all the Escape is easy to maintain and a reliable car.

The ford escape works perfect for our family.

We purchased the escape because we liked the way it looks. I like the fold down seats that expand the backseat. The size of the car is comfortable for driving around and running errands. It gets good gas mileage. My favorite feature is the sync. I plug my phone in and I can display my music, podcasts, and several different map apps that I use. We recently drove our escape on a long trip and the sync was extremely helpful. I like that for a basic model we also got heated seats and a compass feature. I liked that it has a key ignition. I absolutely hate keyless ignitions. I like the lights on the side mirrors that warn of cars in your blind spots. That is been really helpful. . I wish the escape had a remote start on the key fob. I do not like the backup camera being on the sync screen. I prefer a backup camera to be in the corner of my rear view mirror. The center console is too small. Both driver and passenger cannot use the console at the same time.

The Ford Escape Titanium is comfortable, sizable, and easy to drive.

I selected the Ford Escape because the driver's seat fit me and was comfortable. I tried out many car brands and this one was the most comfortable in my price range. It has a smooth, comfortable ride (must have good shocks.) I especially love the larger screen which makes reading the GPS easier. I continue to pay for XM radio after the 6 months free subscription ran out. The windshield wipers and lights come on during rain ( I wish the lights would come on sooner, though.) It has a rear windshield wiper, which I cannot stress how helpful this is during the rainy season here in Florida! The heated front seats are a relief to my aching hips and back! I love having the heated steering wheel for arthritic fingers. The backup camera is great, but I wish there were side cameras as well. I do love how easy the back seats fold down. They are not difficult to put back up, but does take a little more strength. Overall, I love my Ford Escape Titanium!

Being from southern ca, I no longer have to fear winter in Ohio!

My 2017 Ford Escape titanium is the perfect small SUV for me! We moved to the Midwest in 2016 from southern ca. I was not used to winter and I was miserable. For Christmas last year my husband bought me this great car. It has heated seats in the front, a heated steering wheel, remote start & even a back up camera! I did not know I needed that feature until I had it! I am able to start the vehicle from inside the house or my work and the windows are defrosted and the car fairly warm before I even get in it! It is changed my winter life! It also has all leather interior which i'd never had before. The radio has Sirius, which my husband works for, so I am really enjoying that! My husbands favorite feature on my new car in the seat memory thingy! Of course I am #1, he is #2 and we can even add a 3rd setting. Before he gets in my car, all he has to do is press a button and seat position goes to his setting! Really, it is a great car!

Love my escape - comfy safe car.

The seats are very comfortable - I like the way they are configured - high up and able to sit straight. There's a nice footrest for the left foot. There were some initial problems with the windshield wipers - they stuttered on the glass - which now has been fixed. Good pickup. Good gas mileage - I got 31 mph on my last trip from pa to ma. Huge windshield. Easy to park. Mine is that bright blue color, which I would not have ordered, but am getting to like it - lots of them this color out there - today at lunch there was another in the parking lot. Heated seats are great. Seems to heat or cool nicely. Love that the engine turns off at stoplights to save gas - I guess it makes a difference but there is really no way to tell. The radio is more complicated than necessary but it is ok. Sounds good. Love the side mirrors - it has that extra little mirror built in that really gets rid of the blind spot. Love my car.

Charcoal gray with black trim, Automatic sunroof and remote start

I special ordered my Ford Escape because I wanted dark gray with no chrome. I also wanted a sunroof. The problem was all the ready to go Escapes with a sunroof and leather seats. I hate leather seats. I don't know why you insist on pushing leather seats on someone if they want the upgrade features. By switching to the sports package and getting the cloth seats it meant I lost the heated steering wheel and the kick open tailgate. I would have paid more for those features but they only came with leather seats which I refuse to have in my car. The car handles great and fits me really good. It is by far the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. It drives great in the snow. Living in upstate NY our winters are brutal but I have never had a problem with the Escape starting- love the remote start- and driving on snow covered roads is no issue. I plan to buy it once the lease is done.

Excellent crossover vehicle.

We haven't had any problems with anything on the vehicle. It is a comfortable vehicle for it is class. If has leather power heated front seats, memory seat for two different driving styles, touch screen for all audio, phone and navigation needs, sync system for hands free Bluetooth calling, panoramic electric sunroof, electric hands free liftgate. Spacious trunk space, spare tire, good fuel economy, reasonable maintenance costs, built in programmable garage door opening controls, ambient lighting that can be changed to a variety of colors, spacious console, remote start and push button start. We have traveled thousands of miles in this vehicle and we comfortably fit 3 of us and a small dog along with 2 large suitcases, 2 small suitcases, a duffle bag and several other small items. Love this vehicle we will be purchasing another new one in the future.

Ford Escape: Reliable, Efficient, Family-Friendly

I love my vehicle. It is a good size, although a bit small to fit car seats in and it doesn't have much trunk space. It drives smoothly and is good on gas. One issue we have had with it is that check engine lights will come on in the car randomly. It has not been determined why this happens although it appears to correlate with sudden increases in speed. Eventually, the light does go off, so it appears to not be a major issue. Another possible issue we have discovered with this car is that it seems to make a clicking noise occasionally when you turn. This does not happen all the time. It is a very comfortable car and good for long trips. It has a partial sunroof, which is very nice for hot days and to keep air circulating. The reverse/backup feature that alerts you when you are close to something behind you is also very convenient and helpful.

- Erin G

Overall it is a really nice car/SUV, but it does have some bugs.

I love that even though it's an SUV, it handles like a car. It has a stiff suspension allowing you take corners smoothly and quickly. I love the bells and whistles. My only complaints are that it feels a little low to the ground, and some of the technology can be glitchy from time to time, like it not always registering when I kick my foot under the hatch for the hands free open and it doesn't work. Also the new SYNC 3 update is terrible. You can't use android auto and Siriusxm at the same time, completely illuminating the part I loved about it. You used to be able to control the music apps on your phone directly from the cars screen via bluetooth. Now you have to plug it in, and it completely overrides the on screen system. It has its perks, but not being able to access my regular car audio system while using it is just stupid.

The Ford Escape is a reliable vehicle.

My car so far very reliable. I have not had any problems with it since I purchased it in 2017. I love the backup camera and Bluetooth/handsfree capabilities. I find that the acceleration is lacking any power and I really have to floor it to get any response. It's a comfortable ride although I wish there were more ways to adjust the seat. I am a small person and I would like to sit higher in the vehicle but there is no way to adjust the seat accept to move it forward and back. It has good storage in the back and my family of 4 can easily pack everything we need for a road trip. Overall, I am pleased with the car as it gets me where I need to go reliably and only requires routine maintenance. However, I used to drive a Toyota RAV4 and given the choice I would go back to the Rav. It was more fun to drive.

The 2017 Ford Escape is a spacious vehicle that does not get good gas mileage. .

The 2017 Ford Escape is a great car overall, for people who never travel on the highway or outside of their city. It goes through gas like no other. It drives pretty smooth and it's faster than what you would think. Its best features are the heated seats and how much space you have on the inside of the car. Also the hands free mode for when you are driving and talking on the phone. It would also be nice if the dealers would tell you that there was a silent recall on all 2017 Ford Escape engines, but that's something you have to find out when you go in to get the car checked out because the engine light came on. Which will go off when they put fluid in the car where it's low. The tires always go low.. All in all, I would not lease or buy this car again. It goes through too much gas to go anywhere.

- Jordan P

Ford Escape provides features that make you feel safe while driving.

The car is very comfortable. I purchased it because my son is almost 6 ft and he is comfortable in both the front and back seats. The trunk space is great! I love the fact that my back seats fold down and gives me the added space needed for larger items. What made me get this car is the fact that it has an actual outlet in the backseat. This is so convenient because I can charge my phone in the front and my kids can charge their electronics in the back seat. I also love the Ford App. With this app, I can remote start my car so there's no need to purchase a separate remote starter. I also enjoy the display camera which alerts me if I am too close to something while reversing as well as the orange light on my side mirrors that alerts me to cars in my blind spots. I am very happy with this vehicle!

Quiet but quick turbocharged 4 cylinder that averages 22.6 mpg

My 2017 white Ford Escape SE 2.0 turbocharged 4 cylinder is the perfect vehicle. It has it all, size, power, style, reliability. The powerful 2.0 will get you around quickly and you can barely even here it. The engine does not sound like it is working hard but it still will put back in your seat. It's what I like to call a 'sleeper'. Especially considering its a crossover. The torque is incredible. And you get all this power with great gas mileage. 21 city 29 Hwy. I average 22.6. Not bad for a fast crossover. As far as size. I've always liked sedans for there styling and gas mileage, but I'm a big man and bending down to get in a car gets old and hard on the back. The Ford Escape is perfect for someone taller like me. It also handles like a sedan

- Wesley S

Ford Escape technology let down.

I don't like the controls for the heating and cooling. They aren't very intuitive or ergonomically. The Bluetooth connection cuts in and out. The engine stops and restarts intentionally for gas mileage reasons when the car is stopped for short periods of time and this feature is very annoying. The most annoying aspect of it is that I can feel the steering wheel jerk bc the power steering goes out bc the engine is off. The air conditioning also cuts out during these engine stops. The fordpass app has a lot of issues and when I tried to use it to remote start my vehicle last winter, it only worked 10% if the time. The rest of the features of the car are good but I do not plan on buying at the end of my lease bc of the previously mentioned issues.

The back up camera feature.

I like the room that the escape has and also the space in the back allows me to be able to take whatever I may need with me. It is also very convenient to have the automatic open and close on the back as well. The most important feature for me is backup camera and that I am notified if anything or anyone is coming while I am in reverse. Another great feature is the light in located in the side mirrors, that notifies me when another vehicle is in my blind spot. One of the features that is annoying is the auto engine shut down when the vehicle comes to a complete stop. A big con for me is the amount of gas that I use because I drive a long distance to work. Other than that I am overall happy with my purchase.

My Escape can be my Escape.

My Escape is a great size for my family. It will seat 5 comfortably. Though, it going on vacation it is hard to pack enough luggage for 5 people. There is a functional roof rack that does help with that. It is better on gas than most similar SUVs. I feel safe when me and my family are riding/driving vehicle. It has enough power to get me out of any situation. My only concern is the location of the gas tank which is on the passenger side. It has remote start feature which is nice in the winter. It has lane assist which can be annoying on occasion when it causes the wheel to vibrate. I like the auto headlights. The headlights turn on automatically when it gets dark and they brighten and dim as needed.

Leased 2017 ford escape, trials and tribulations!

My 2017 ford escape is one of my favorite cars I have leased. I love how it sits up and has a hatchback. I have previously had issues with older ford escape cruise control, which was of course covered by the warranty. Recently, I had to replace the brake pads, as well as the rotors (hopefully that is spelled correct)! The escape only had 16,000 miles on it so I was super surprised to have to pay $500 to replace different brake features on a car not even 3 years old. I would say I love what ford stands for, but am thinking about whether I want to release a ford when my lease is up. This is the third ford automobile that I have had something happen to within the first 2-3 years.

Repeat Customer for the Stylish Ford Escape

This is the second Ford Escape I have leased since 2014. I absolutely love this vehicle! It is just the right size for me. It's roomy enough to comfortably transport 5 people on short drives and 4 people on longer drives. There is plenty of room in the back for groceries or luggage. I haven't had any problems with the Escape. I find the controls easy to use. I love the interior - it is a gray/patterned fabric with charcoal floor mats. The exterior is white, and that's the same color I chose when I leased an Escape in 2014. I think the fuel mileage is good. I feel like it is current and sporty looking. It's not too big or too small. I would highly recommend it.

Ford Escape SE is one awesome ride!

It's the first SUV I've owned and will probably never go back to a car. It has a 5 star crash rating and is consumer reports recommended. It's extremely comfortable and quiet in the cabin. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles as the next model up but what it does have offers a great drivers experience. I love the digital menu display on the dash as well as the backup camera screen, tho it is a little small. The sound system is perfect and two USB ports make it easy to connect your own music device. The mileage is great and the vehicle handles beautifully. It has an awesome stylish look. I would highly recommend this vehicle and I'll definitely be buying another.

The Ford escape is a very safe car that will protect the driver in an accident.

The Ford escape drives very well in the snow packed roads during our tough Iowa winters. It is a very comfortable car to drive and ride in. The back seat folds down, allowing a surprising amount of room to haul stuff. The radio controls on the steering wheel are a nice feature for safely tuning it. I put a hitch on so I can pull a small trailer to haul my lawnmower, dirt bike, and junk to the landfill. The powered drivers seat makes it easy to adjust for any type of driver. Another great item on this car is the rear backup camera. You get a clear view of what is behind for safely backing up. The Ford escape is an all around fantastic car.

- Galen P

Great small family car with amazing gas mileage.

This car is a great car for small families. I love the quiet sound on the highway. I love that the seat fold all the way down giving room to put a lot of items in the back. I also like that it has dual controlled ac and heating. That way when my husband wants it hot I can keep it cool. I like the digital speedometer and that on average I get 20 miles per gallon. I love the backup camera. The only thing I would change is the interior seats I have cloth and they are uncomfortable after about 2 hours. I do a lot of driving and I should have gone for leather heated and cooled seats. Overall I recommend this car to all starting out families.

- Tyler P

Ford Escape - a must have

My vehicle has a plastic piece underneath that is always coming loose and is honestly quite annoying as it flaps in the wind. I do wish it had more space as well, especially the backseat as it sits close to the front seats. The final thing I have concerns about is the voice activated Bluetooth - it never understands what/who I'm trying to call. Perhaps that's more of a user error though... However, I really appreciate the safety of the vehicle and the height the car sits at. The front seats are EXTREMELY comfortable and I enjoy driving the car! It rides smooth and so far I haven't had any issues with engine or controls.

- Katie A

Ford Escape to the future.

The vehicle is comfortable for five passengers although the middle seat in the back seems a little narrow between the buckles. A britax convertible car seat fits nicely behind either front seat. There are anchors for a car seats in all the positions in the back. Seat material is easy to clean. Gas mileage is excellent even with the twin turbos. I can always count on the intelligent four wheel drive to kick in when needed. The ability to Bluetooth my phone through the vehicle for calls makes it feel much safer with a little one in the car. The trunk space could be better for moms with larger strollers.

- Courtney M

The great Escape the look the comfort the performance you'll love.

My Ford Escape has all the features you could ever want it's comfortable its sharp looking. It's also great on gas and easy to handle its quiet smooth riding and has plenty of room the seats fold down to make room for groceries your pets or anything you buy that needs room to put things like wood plants mulch. The sound system is great it has CD radio the speakers sound nice, the air condition is wonderful. This SUV is reliable I've had it almost 3 years purchased 2016 for 2017 make and year. I've never had a single problem with it at all. The engine is very quiet it's just a great auto to own.

- Alice Marie J

Great for its class, good mileage, good lines.

Very comfortable ride in all weather conditions, especially in snow and ice. Safety features are top notch. Gas mileage is a little better than average for its class. Maintenance is a breeze, no more being held to 3, 000 miles or 3 months per oil change, I have only had to bring it in once for regular maintenance. The feature that works very well is shutting down the engine when stopped for a while, it really is a gas saver. The only real "eh" I have is for its a/c. It sometimes just does not cool down well and that can be a problem when you leave your pet in the car with the engine running.

- Gina G

Great midsize SUV but only ford can help you!

I love my 4 wheel drive and ease in the highway. The turbo engine really makes it a great highway SUV. The trunk space is huge and great for moving or camping. The seats are comfortable and has great lumbar support for the driver. I do not like how I can't access my battery to jump or be jumped, that my battery has to be programmed to be changed, and the air filter is not accessible by anyone but ford. They make it so people like me who live in rural areas can't fix their own car or rely on locals. I also wish the interior lights could be turned off without turning the car back on.

- Jae Dee W

Very reliable. Ability to remote start without paying for an extra upgrade.

A few months after we bought the Escape it started leaking in from the driver and passenger side due to faulty window seals. It is extremely comfortable and drives very smooth. I love the Apple car play feature and back up camera. The best feature though is probably the Fordpass app you can download on your phone. It allows you to remote start your car, check fuel levels, and lock/unlock. This feature is especially great because it allows you to enjoy these extra luxuries at no extra charge. The back seat and trunk are also very spacious for being a small SUV.

- Kelly S

If you take care of the car, the care will take care of you.

The backup camera is a personal lifesaver and the inside is spacious and comfortable enough for long car rides. We achieved a six hour drive with only one stop. For our particular car we have issues with a very sensitive break that inhibits smooth stops without a lot of practice for that particular car. There is also an issue with the plastic of the underbelly peeling off and dragging against the pavement as we drive. It is undetermined if this was driver error or a weak construction of the model. Ford has been good to us regarding any repairs we have needed.

- Aaron A

Compact car, major engine concerns.

In less than 2 years after purchase, the engine had to be fully replaced at the cost of the manufacturer due to a known issue. There were cylinder issues, 2 and 4 that caused the vehicle to stall at a minimum of 50 miles per hour, on a busy street. Every other week the tire pressure is low, and from information gathered, the engine feature (not auto start) caused the issues previously mentioned (minus the tire pressure). Overall, the vehicle handles well, and seems to deal with the weather fine, and it is a comfortable car, minus the aforementioned problems.

- Jennifer M

It is reliable transportation, has very good pick up for the times you need it.

My vehicle is a small SUV. I like it because it has good gas mileage, parks easily and has good pick up when you need it. I really like the built in Wi-Fi so I can answer phone calls or texts hands free without taking my eyes off the road. The backup screen is a good feature too. It is a comfortable ride with good viewing for driving. The price was reasonable and the buying process was easier then other times I have bought a new vehicle. I didn't spend more than 3 hours at the dealership. They also offered 15 months of free oil changes which has been nice.

- Roberta H

Ecoboost is the positive and negative point of the car.

I love my Ford Escape. It has all the tech that I would need and runs great with great gas mileage. My one issue with my Escape is that the eco boost feature that saves me so much on gas can get a bit complicated. It turns my engine off anytime I brake my car completely. It took a little bit to get used to but I don't mind it now. Only problem is in the summer the ac will completely go warm whenever my engine turns off at lights and such and this makes warm summer day incredibly uncomfortable anytime I have to stop at a light or in traffic.

- Brandis F

Beautiful SUV with many wonderful features

This vehicle is gorgeous. The trim adds a touch of class to this stylish road machine. The outstanding features include smooth riding, comfortable seating, large enough to command respect yet small enough for ease of parking, free Sirius satellite radio for the first year, fuel conserving engine with engine shut down while idling. The negatives about this SUV are no get-up-and-go at take-off, defect in bolts that hold drip pan underneath car - known to loosen for no obvious reason causing pain to fall down and drag. Not covered under warranty.

- Susan Y

2000 mile drive went amazing

I bought my vehicle in Michigan and drive it all the way to California within two weeks of buying it and it was great! The seats were comfortable for all 38 hours we were in the car, the radio is very clear and also has Siri XM, I also have a touch screen for my radio and maps and other cool settings, I was able to move the radio to only one corner of the car so I didn't wake other passengers which was very useful! The eco friendly gas mileage was also a plus since we drove 2000 miles away! Overall a very great experience and I love my car!

- Madison M

The 2017 Ford Escape - pros and cons from a subjective viewpoint.

There are far too many blind spots. I have a titanium with rear backup camera and navigation which makes finding anything around you easy, such as grocery stores, bank, entertainment, etc. It is a smooth ride and is far enough off the ground that it is easy to see things you miss at a normal car height, like curbs. The inside has several charging hubs and cup holders in the front, rear and side of each door. It is easy to handle and comfortable to drive at top speed limit. It comes in several colors and is not so bad as far as mpg goes.

- Lara F

Colorful and comfortable. . . Easy to drive handles well on the road.

The only thing I can think of right now is on the Ford the windows are not seal good and you can hear the wind and noise from the outside, rode. Oh just thought of another problem no matter how you adjust your seat you cannot see the font of the hood like I can with my Honda and that makes it very hard for me to judge when I pull into a parking lot or judge my distance and that can be very frustrating. Otherwise I love my Ford and it would make me very happy if they would correct these two things that I mention that would be great.

- Virginia R

The Escape has four doors and four wheel drive, perfect for Ohio.

Overall, the Escape is great! The seats are comfy, adjustable, and heated! The backseat is easy to adjust to fit large items in the back of the car. I have fit an entire outdoor set in the car! I have had a couple of issues with sensors being lose, or failing. The plastic underneath the car fell off during the first couple of months which was frightening. There are small issues that continue to pop up over time, it seems common in other escapes as well. Overall, I love the car and plan on keeping it for at least a few more years.

- Erica G

It is very comfortable to drive and ride in.

I love my Ford escape. The only thing I hate about the car is the auto stop start feature. I had issues with it turning off my car completely at red lights. The seats are very comfortable to sit in and the backseat has plenty of leg space. Mine has a backup camera. It is really good on gas I get about 25 MPG. It has a Bluetooth radio so I can play music off my phone and a USB port to charge my phone. It also comes with hands free option so you can call or answer the phone by a push of a button on the steering wheel.

- Rebecca R

Impossible to say just one! I guess the gas mileage and ecoboost! Car will turn off when stopped and foot on the brake. When you take your foot off the brake, the car turns on really fast not disrupting initial acceleration.

I love this car! It's very comfortable and has plenty of room but not too spacious. I love that I only need an oil change once a year. I also love the "perks"..screen for reversing, lights on side mirrors showing someone in your blind spot etc. The screen is large and easy to see all options right in front of me! I like that I can program another key (for stepdaughter)...I can program it so the car won't go above a certain speed, the volume on radio won't go above a certain level etc! Highly recommend this car!

- Bridget F

Great starter family car!

We bought this car while I was pregnant without first child, so comfort and safety were our key targets. When I sat in the car, I was impressed with how comfortable the drivers and passengers seat were. I liked there wa multiple ways to adjust them too I love the backup camera this is the first car that I have owned that has one. This was a key safety/ selling feature for me. The only issue we have has is a nail in the tire. We have maintained the recommended maintenance thus far and will continue to do so.

- Ashley R

Great gas mileage, no talk to text.

This is the second Escape I've had. They are really great. I love the space, the comfort and the gas mileage!! I have a touch screen this time which took a minute to get used too but it's alright. There is an app on my phone so it's connected to my car and I can remote start it to heat up in the winter or cool down in the summer. One feature that my older Escape had was the ability for me to reply to texts. It was like talk to text but through the Bluetooth in the car. This one doesn't have that feature.

Ford Escape: more negative than positive

The car does not ride comfortably. It feels very tight inside where there isn't much space between seats. The alarms randomly go off while driving which is very distracting. The air conditioning isn't strong when it's hot outside. The trunk has plenty of space which is a good thing. The review camera screen is too small and hard to judge. The car doesn't get good gas mileage either. I wish the middle console was larger for cups and such. Every time I use it for drinks they tend to spill out.

- Jennifer P

Big enough for pets and Trees

This car is very reliable and has yet to have any major problems. While it is only 2 years old, I have not had to have anything looked at except for a rattling passenger window that was easily fixed. It is big enough to travel with pets comfortably and functional enough to transport Christmas trees in. Size wise, it is everything I wanted. Reliability wise, it is everything I needed. The body style is very basic, it is easy to lose in a crowded parking lot. But for what it is, I love it.

- Selena C

Ugly but would still recommend

I would consider my Ford Escape as, 'fine.' Functionally, it's great. I do believe it is overpriced, monthly payments are excessively high. Mileage is good but surprisingly not as efficient as I would have thought. Aesthetically, I don't love it. Definitely could use an upgrade in the looks department. I also don't know why garage door buttons aren't built into the vehicle unless it's a 'titanium' or if you pay extra - I feel like nowadays things like that should be a standard feature.

- Jacqueline P

Great all around midsize SUV

I truly love my car. The design is perfect, the size is also perfect. Just large enough to transport everything I need, but small enough to park anywhere I need in the city. I love the backup cameras and side mirror sensors for cars. The interior is great and is easy the clean. The apple car play also makes hooking up my phone very easy. The only thing I don't like it I feel like the leg room in the back is a bit smaller than I'm used to, especially when having adults in the back seat.

- Julia G

Roomy and Comfortable but not fuel efficient

I love driving my escape. Its roomy and comfortable, has all the bells and whistles like a backup camera, Bluetooth, Sirius radio etc. It has/had only two downsides. The first is that it only gets an average of 20 miles to the gallon so I'm spending more on gas than I'd like to and the other was that if had a problem right near the 36,000 mile mark. It under 36,000 so they fixed it at no cost but I didn't love the idea of something breaking down so soon. Overall though I love the car

- Holly K

2017 ford escape: it takes you to work and play.

I love my ford escape. I have owned other small to midsize SUVs and the escape is the best. It is a smooth quiet ride. The value is unmatchable with the technology that it comes with. My favorite feature is the ecoboost. I am able to zip in and around traffic or obstacles while still maintaining a 30/mpg average. It is also very comfortable for long trips. We have taken it from DFW to Tampa and it was perfect for my small family because it was efficient in gas mileage and comfortable.

- Kristin B

Comfortable drive, smooth ride, great car overall.

I really like it. I am a shorter person so I just love that the driver's seat has electric controls that adjust to very specific settings. The back-up camera is great as well. It drives smooth and is a quiet ride. The only down side so far (had it for about 13 months) is the heat/ac controls, there is no easy high or low. The range in temperatures is great but you have to adjust all the time since the auto setting does not always do the job if your car has been in the sun/shade.

- Karen N

Not having to use your key to open or start the car.

I love my ford escape! It's easy on gas and the ride us real smooth. I like that it has a built in GPS in it. There is a lot of room especially if you do a lot of traveling. If you want a good car I would go with the ford escape. The seats are very comfortable and in the winter you can push a button and your seats are heated. Only thing I don't like about my car is, when you stop at a light or stop sign the car shuts off. They say your saving gas but I don't think you are.

- Bobbi G

2017 Escape SE 4wd best car ever?

Literally the best car I've ever owned. Roomy comfortable and efficient with the power to tow a small trailer as well. I have been averaging around 30 mpg on longer trips and it doesn't cost much more to fuel up than my last car. The styling is attractive I really like the way the car looks. I would stay away from the S model personally less options less power less efficient. The se is nicely optioned and the titanium is absolutely loaded. There is an escape for everyone.

- Justen S

They may be Ford tough, but that is not enough.

Not enough features for the price. I have always had ford's but do not like the Escape very well. The steering is very loose, interior seats uncomfortable and not much cargo space. The luggage rack is just for looks since that package didn't come with it. I am still disappointed in the salesperson and dealership I bought it from. I bought it 6 months ago and still haven't got a customer survey concerning my purchase, and believe me, I have been waiting for it. Thanks.

- Tonja K

Good car but some basic improvements needed.

Seems very bumpy when driving. It's more like a truck than a car. For the money I paid I am disappointed that it does not come with Sirius satellite radio. The rear camera screen needs to be bigger. The back seat is fine for leg room. I wish the back seats folded completely down flat. Overall a good car. I did have an issue with the back passenger seat window. I put it in one week after buying my car, it was brand new, and the window would no go back up. Frustrating.

- Kelly C

The gas mileage is great.

I love my Escape. It has enough room for what I do. It is all wheel drive. It is ruby red so I named it Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. It is awesome for gas mileage and rides great. Have had no problems with it. I received a good price and my payments are relatively low. Insurance on it is great. Had coating put on it to help with being able to wipe out small scratches. Plenty of room on the inside for legs and comfort. Seats lean back so I can take a nap if I want.

- Shirley W

It gets good gas mileage for a decent size SUV

I recently purchased this vehicle, and I already love it! It has a huge front window that seems almost panoramic. Also, the radio sound quality is good. Lastly, i love how great the gas mileage is. My only dislikes to this vehicle is that is has manual seats for my trim style; however, if i were to buy the next trim up they would've been power. I did chose the car with a remote start option instead of the power seats. My only other concern is the capless gas tank.

- Brittany M

Ford Escape 2017 likes and dislikes.

I love the way my Ford Escape has heated seats, and remote start with my phone. It really helps in the winter. I love the white gold color they came up with. It drives really nice and gets really good gas miles. I do not like how the front defrost does not line up with the window wipers so it takes forever for the wipers to defrost. I do not like how the middle roof sunglasses holder sits down to where it is in the way of looking out the middle rear view mirror.

- Casey T

Love my 2017 Ford Escape!

My car has been very reliable. There have been no problems. It has leather seats and is very comfortable. There is a panoramic sunroof, which I really enjoy, as well as the Technology package, which includes navigation. My favorite features are all the automatic things, like headlights that turn on automatically when it gets dark, windshield wipers that come on automatically when it rains. I really don't have anything negative to say about the car. I love it!

- Barbara W

Helpful and friendly advice for Ford vehicles

Have not experienced any problems with Ford Escape yet. It has been reliable, comfortable and performed well during long road trips. The gas mileage has been good and for example, only had to fill up once during a 4.5 hour trip. The tires have been maintaining great pressure, even after driving on roads under construction. Also what I like about driving this car is the service department at the dealership. They have been very friendly and helpful.

- Sherry D

Perfect for road trips because of the gas mileage.

The Ford escape is a great value for a mid size SUV. It has good mileage and handles well. My vehicle features include CarPlay so I can connect my phone and use the touchscreen instead of handling my phone. I am able to use maps for navigation which is viewed from the car screen vs the phone screen. Messages are read to me and my reply can be dictated and sent. It is very convenient. I love having a backup camera and lane indicators on my side mirrors.

- Judy D

2017 ford escape with rear view camera and hands free phone.

I enjoy driving this car. The back up camera is not the most reliable. The camera view is upside down, blinks in and out, or is blank. I would have to pay $100.00 just to get the problem figured out then I would have to pay to get the problem fixed even after I took it to the dealership for the problem a few months after the purchase of the car. The Bluetooth phone and connection are great features. Those also are not the most reliable features.

- Sarah P

My Ford Escape absolutely rocks!

My Ford Escape is the best vehicle I have ever owned hands down. It looks sporty but also has enough room for me, my husband, my five year old, my one year old and my dog while both kids are still in car seats. Seats are very comfortable and I love the heated seats. It has so many options that I am going to be honest I am not sure how to use them all!! I will continue to buy Ford vehicles like this Escape but my next one may be an Explorer.

- Kalyn O

The best sports utility around

I find the drive feature when the car turns off when you are idling to be off putting. I love the comfort of the car and the ability to all both things and people. It looks good and has been an efficient and reliable car. The heated seats in winter are wonderful and the sound system is excellent. I use Sirius with my car and it works well. The Bluetooth is also great and makes for hands free driving when I need to use the phone.

- Beverly H

Family friendly vehicle!!

I really love my car. It fits my family of 5, including 3 kids in car seats, very comfortably. I also live in an area where we have harsh winters, so the four wheel drive comes in handy. It also has auto shut off, to help save gas. My only dislike about my car is, it tends to use a lot of gas but I think that's to be expected when you drive a midsize SUV. Overall, I would recommend my car, especially if you are a family on a budget.

- Michaela G

Midsize SUV that drives beautifully. I love the sound system. Easy to operate.

I have had the vehicle for 2 years. There are already parts of the leather seams that have come undone. I do not use the back seats often and was surprised to see the sewing fail already. It drives like a dream. I am very happy with the performance. There have been issues with the wireless key. Sometimes the vehicle does not recognize I have the key in the car. I have had no other issues with the vehicle since I have purchased it.

- Rebecca L

It's one of the best compact SUVs out on the road.

I've only had it a year so I have had any problems. It's great on gas, the rearview camera comes in handy. I love the side mirrors that have the blind side warnings. It's a smooth ride. The Bluetooth capabilities are pretty awesome. You can connect your phone to text and use GPS directly through Google. The seats are comfortable, very spacious in the front and back. The back seats drop so you can fit most of anything in the car.

- Krystle J

Escape Titanium is a great smaller size SUV!

I love my titanium! It has leather interior, sport mode and I chose this vehicle because it is a smaller size SUV and I am an empty nester. I also chose this vehicle because I really wanted the pano/sunroof and all of the electronic features inside. One thing I am not thrilled about is the color of my vehicle. It is black and all of my other cars have been silver or white. It shows dirt easily and every little scratch or mark.

- Danielle W

Beautiful interior, heated seats!

I love all of the features in my ford escape. The large back up screen is wonderful. Seats are heated and adjust in many positions and are very comfortable. The interior is beautiful and well designed. It has really great gas mileage and handles very well in all weather conditions. The only other feature that I would have liked to have on my ford escape would have been automatic car start, especially for in our cold winters.

- Kelly M

Escapes are great cars!!

My first car was an escape and I drove it 205,000 miles before trading it in for a new escape. I love how it is small and easy to drive but still has plenty of room for transporting my family and belongings. No major repairs yet. I have the sport package with more powerful engine which I didn't realize how much I would love it when I first bought it. Buy a ford escape because they are awesome!! I would gladly buy another!!

- Charles H

My first Escape, but not my last!

Love this car! It has a gas saving feature where when you stop at a light or something the engine turns off, but as soon as you step on the gas again, the car starts right back up. The other feature, which is not on every Escape is the huge sunroof! It's awesome, we even let the kids stand up at Christmas when we slowly drive through a Christmas light display, of course, as soon as we're done they must buckle back up!!

- Katherine V

Would Purchase a Ford Escape Again!

My 2017 Ford Escape is my first vehicle that has not been a sedan and I love riding a bit higher in the vehicle. I do not like people being able to see everything that is in the vehicle vs having a covered trunk area. For me the seating is comfortable. I do not like the 'pause' that comes with the acceleration on the car, a feature of the fuel conservation, I believe. But I would certainly purchase another Ford Escape.

- Sharon M

Quality Car- Very Few Issues

The inside of the cabin does have noise when driving highway, it's just something normal you get used to. I've had one scare with the transmission where it felt like it was not kicking into the right gear/ would not accelerate correctly. Took it to ford dealership, they took it apart and found nothing wrong with parts. They did an update on the software and then everything was fine. They said it just missed an update.

- Alyssa B

It is just a few suggestions...

The escape gets great gas mileage. It could use a little bit more room in the back and some hooks for grocery bags, band instruments, etc. It does not come with a full spare tire and it needs to be equipped with a full spare. That should be standard option/feature for all ford vehicles. . I love the rear camera. The screen is too bright at night. The manual control for the dash lights does not dim the touch screen.

- Angela S

The car is very comfortable and very helpful to the driver.

I own a 2017 Ford escape and so far it has been great. It is very reliable and never has given me any issues. It runs incredible smooth and has a ton of features I really love like a backup camera which is super helpful. The automatic trunk closes when you are busy and arms are full of groceries. The inside is very comfortable we've gone on long car rides to other states in it and it wasn't bad at all in the escape.

- Emily L

Good fuel mileage if you're in traffic or on an expressway.

The Escape is easy to drive and gets very good fuel mileage. However, I've had two issues with it with fewer than 10,000 miles. It has ecoboost and somewhat rests at lights and Stop signs. Twice it actually turned the car off. It was due to a faulty sensor. Fortunately I was in a smaller town and there wasn't much traffic, but it could have been really dangerous. I had to put the car in park and turn it on again.

- Nicole N

2017 ford escape is really good vehicle.

It is a really good car. It is very fuel efficient and easy to maintain. It has enough space for a family of four and I like the trunk space. The back seats fold forward if you need more room to transport large items. I really love it because of the fact that I can use regular gas in it and a full tank can last me for an entire week, taking my kids to and from school and driving two hours back and forth for work.

- Tracey S

It drives great, has great features and very good gas mileage

It seats 5 has a great trunk area. The safety features are amazing, rear view mirrors lights yellow when someone is in my blind spot, have Backup cameras that beep when someone is behind me. Good on gas and drives comfortably. Downfall, my engine was replaced 4 months after purchase as there was a crack in engine. Ever since replacement has been driving like a dream. Not much get up and go but a great car.

- Jeanette M

Great driving. Riding vehicle. Handles great and a joy to drive.

Bought vehicle brand new from dealer I worked part time for. I now have over 22 , 000 miles on it and have had no problems at all. Runs great, but is not the best on gas mileage, but it is all wheel drive and about what I expected. The ride and handling is better than I thought it would be. I love this SUV and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality vehicle. Hope to have it for many years..

- Dennis R

2017 Ford Escape the number one vehicle choice for myself and my family

No problems as of yet get great gas mileage, very roomy great for camping trips and long rides has plenty of leg room and plenty of charging stations I will highly recommend this vehicle to a couple with no children or even a family of four it has plenty of seating plenty of legroom the seats are easy to put up and down for the cargo space Anuradha javeri economical easy vehicle to driving maneuver

- Lou Ann V

Anyone interested in buying the Ford Escape should be aware the Fordpass App works in conjunction with Sync 3 to provide a whole range of awesome features. These features include remote start, and vehicle tracking.

I like that my Ford Escape was affordable yet still has terrific features like remote start, navigation, and heated seats. I like the comfortable ride and stylish yet simple design of the interior. I especially like that the escape features EcoBoost, a small engine displacement, and a turbo that helps achieve very good gas mileage while still providing adequate levels of acceleration when required.

- Wesley R

Comfort and ease of driving for the busy mom on the go!

The 2017 Ford Escape is extremely comfortable with cloth seats that even in Texas heat don't make you sweat. I drive very frequently with a toddler in a car seat and there is still plenty of room in the back seat for other passengers. I enjoy the ease at which it drives and handles and the best part is the sync feature that connects to your phone for hands-free calls and reading of text messages.

- Joann L

The most important feature is that with the eco it powers down power draining systems when stopped at traffic lights. This saves gasoline, but you can press a button to bypass this feature.

The Ford Escape driver's seat is very comfortable with many adjustments available. The fact the both front seats have three levels of heat helped me choose this vehicle after developing severe back and hip pain. The ride is smooth. It is an eco vehicle, but still has quick get up and go. The back seats are very easy to drop down when needing the extra space. They are also easy to put back upright.

- Marj D

The feature that lets you know that cars are passing you in your blind spot.

The best feature of this car is that it has Dual temperature control in front. Drive can have it warm and passenger can have another. The front seats are heated. Cell phone Charger stations equal 4. The backup camera is a blessing. It also has the feature of showing you when a car is passing in your blind spot. The tailgate has the feature of it will not close if it senses something is in the way.

- Heather C

My Ford Escape has a lot of great features but rides stiff.

I like the added features such as panoramic roof, leather heated seats, auto window up-down, the ambient lighting etc. I don't like the stiff ride-rough roadways, bumps, changing driving surfaces etc are loud and bumpy. Also while it has storage room in the back I can barely fit my golf bag and shoes back there and have no room to spare unless I want to put the seats down. Then I have road noise.

- Diana L

awesome car and great value for your money!

is very economical on gas. has rear camera, heated seats and is very comfortable was also great value. got a good deal-new car for 20,000 dollars. came with a lot of features. have had no problems yet has driven very nicely. has minimal blind spots. came in several nice colors also. decided on a grey one. would prefer this vehicle over any vehicle very impressed. great in winter in snow and ice

- julie e

Love my car.. other than saving gas.

The only negative thing about my car is the automatic stop. It stops the engine when you've pushed on the brake fully and saves gas. I had issues with this when I would try and pull out in traffic and the car would delay and not go in time. There is a button where you can turn this feature off but you have to turn it off every single time you go into the car. You cannot just leave it on or off.

- Maddie K

Not as fast as the 2014, 2017 is kind of a dog bow wow.

I like the fact that the SUV sits higher than a ride in a car, its sporty looking, roomy inside, I don't like the auto kill of the engine when at a stop, which is equipment with a button to turn that function off. Which I so every time I get in it, I traded in my 2014 Escape for this purchase and I got to say the 2014 was a lot more peppier than my 2017, it's kind of a dog, big disappointment.

- Tiffany S

Nice car pretending to be an SUV.

It is a nice car. I would not call this an SUV. It rides comfortably. It is a little noisy (engine). I have the painted rims which scratch easily. It has a rear view camera to help guide you but when you actually look behind you it has blind spots. Not as clear as older models. Fuel economy is ok. Dash warnings are nice - you know when you need air or how many miles to empty. Overall it is ok.

- Jennifer B

The trim on the inside matches the outside, all black.

My car is great to drive. I have a v4, all wheel drive. It does great in all weather and the gas mileage is great. My engine has an auto shut off when I come to a stop at a light and saves gas. I have a moon roof, which is twice the size of a normal sunroof and I love it. I have a great package on mine, including heated seats and leather. I have an upgraded speaker system and have 10 speakers.

- Lindsay S

It is comfortable and drives smoothly. Enough room for comfortable long trips!

Enjoy my Ford Escape to the fullest. It gets great gas mileage and is comfortable. Has just enough space for me to travel back and forth to work and shopping trips with my friends. Sits four passengers comfortably which includes the driver and could seat five passengers if needs which again includes the driver. Has space in the very back for groceries bags and packages. I love my Ford Escape!

- Jean C

Great small SUV for the daily commuter.

The 2017 Ford Escape SE is a really comfortable vehicle to drive. It is efficient on gas for driving around town, commuting to and from work, but it's also great for longer drives. Bluetooth comes standard so you can easily listen to your favorite tunes and handle phone calls hands free. The backup camera is essential, but the screen could be larger. Overall, this is a really great vehicle.

- Patricia M

This is the best car ever- I would own a 100!

I love the large display- it makes backing up and guidance very easy. It drives very smooth and the gas mileage is amazing! The seats are comfortable for me and I am 5’10”. I can fit my three kids in the back comfortably and there’s a good bit of room in the truck for storage. I easily fit the stroller and several bags/sporting equipment. So far maintenance has been a breeze as well.

- Ashley J

I absolutely love my ford escape!

It is the perfect size because it is not too big, but it is not small either. I love all of the cool features such as apple play, ecoboost and navigation. I have not had any problems with this vehicle and have had it for almost two years. Even though it is an SUV; it still is good on gas which is a great plus. I absolutely love my escape and would definitely buy another one in the future!

- Tee D

It is a great car for the price.

My Ford Escape is a very good car for everyday usage. It has comfortable seats and great handling. It gets pretty good mileage per gallon of gas, but not as good as my hybrid got. The Escape has great storage space, but the front passenger seat does not fold forward far enough to pass through long objects to the front to transport. It is a great family car, cannot go wrong with this car.

- Kathy G

Small but spacious SUV for everyone.

The Escape is very reliable and can go far on one tank of gas. The back seat is roomy enough for two adults and a child to sit comfortably. The driver and front passenger space is also roomy and good for people who are taller than average. I wish the cargo space was a little bigger; however I wanted a smaller SUV so it was expected. Love the keyless entry! It is also pretty good looking.

- Tina P

Awesome technology that keeps me safe.

The Ford Escape is a very reliable car. The technology was a big upgrade for me and it's been more helpful than I ever thought it would be. The blind spot alert and the back up camera is such a nice feature to have. The ride is very smooth and I love the start stop technology to save my gas mileage. I have plenty of cargo space in the back to store what I need. Overall I love this car.

- Danielle M

Awesome Car, Comfortable Interior, Has Great Get-Up-And-Go Speed

I love the fact that the car is 'zippy' - it definitely has get up and go speed! I have not driven it in the snow yet so can't speak to that yet. I wish that the car had heated seats, but the interior is otherwise comfortable. I like the eco feature on the car - it shuts off when you stop at lights, so it helps with gas. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it!

- Chelsea C

5 star crash rating and great family vehicle.

The size of the vehicle is perfect, not too big, not too small. Perfect for a small family car with the extra room in the back for strollers, grocery’s, you name it. Also my husband was in a crash with one and hit a telephone pole going 90 mph and it is 5 star crash rating is what saved his life. I will always buy a Escape because of its reliability and it is a safe family car.

- Kara W

Ford Escape titanium white pearl awesomeness.

This Ford Escape has surpassed our expectations. It is very easy to drive, comfortable around town and on long trips. The acceleration is quite responsive. It is equipped with heated everything! Seats, steering wheel and controls for the heat up front and in the back seats. The color we chose is a pearl white. It looks clean and crisp with a soft under glow which is so appealing.

- Janice L

A good ride for suburban living

The car is leased brand new, so it runs great. There's enough power to safely accelerate onto highways and avoid oncoming traffic. The features are plentiful, aside from no navigation on this particular model. Ample room to move a piece of furniture if needed. Four wheel drive, sunroof, backup camera, and an option for a subscription to satellite radio are some other perks.

- Patrick M

I lease the 2017 Ford Escape for my family of 4.

Very spacious especially in the trunk. Very comfortable and safe car. Favorite thing about car would be the interior design and its energy saving. The only thing this car is missing that I would really like is a sensor on the mirrors that let you know if another car is in your blind spot. Other than that this car has been good for my family and I highly recommend it to others.

- Kelsey S

Ford Escape fun and stylish.

Love the Ford Escape. Drives smooth. Gets decent mileage in city driving, great on highways. This is my 5 Ford Escape. It is reliable in rain, sun or snow. I like the hands free phone feature as well as the navigation. Sirius is good. Like the feature where I can open the car door with a code on the drivers door. The new feature where the car shuts off at a light saves on gas.

- Regina G

2017 Ford Escape SE comfortable and reliable!

I haven't had any major issues with this vehicle! I've had friends say that the seats are much more comfortable than other cars and I would agree! I do not use the engine auto off feature as it shut down on me once this winter and I had to restart my car so I now leave that off completely. That is the only issue I've had and it's very easy to turn off this feature on the dash.

- Rebecca B

Quick and dependable mini SUV.

The Ford Escape has been a very dependable vehicle that is also fun to drive. We opted for the all wheel drive version because of the snow that accompanies our Michigan winters. It has powered through any snow that has fallen since we leased the vehicle. So far the only cost that we have incurred is the normal oil change and tire rotation maintenance that needs to be handled.

- Dan W

The Ford Escape: Simple and Luxurious

My vehicle is very reliable. The cost of gas (which is most important to me) is extremely affordable. The Ford Escape gives notifications on what it needs such as, an oil change, tire pressure, etc. I do not have leather seats. The seats I have are extremely comfortable and support your back fully. CarPlay is included along with Bluetooth, heated seats, and automatic windows.

- Joseph M

The car handles well in all situations, and that makes you feel very safe.

I love the look of the car, including the color and interior. I love the way the car handles. I love the extra cargo space when the back seats are down. I love the safety I feel when I'm in the car thanks to the solid feel of the care and all the airbags. The only complaint is that the computer screen has twice gone black and I had to turn off the car to get it back.

- Judith K

You'll love this vehicle!

My vehicle performs wonderfully! It has the right amount of room for 2 adults and occasionally a 3rd adult or 2 grandchildren. I really like being able to use my Android phone and put Google maps on the entertainment screen without having had to purchase GPS with the vehicle. Also appreciate having the 110 outlet in the second row area for charging childrens gadgets.

- Deborah K

Think Ford first - a great, reliable American made car!!

Comfortable, a ton of features, spacious. I will always buy a Ford over any other car company out there. The customer service is a breeze with ford, the warranty is great. I have never had any issues. I personally love the sync system that is on most of ford's vehicles. It puts everything right at your fingertips. Sirius radio, am/FM, CD's. The sound system is awesome!!

- Betsy B

Perfect sized vehicle for small family.

I haven't had any issues with my car, I have only owned it since Dec 2016 and have been good about taking it in for regular maintenance. It is the perfect size for me and my small family. Seems to get acceptable gas mileage - I drive about 38 miles a day. It is comfortable to drive, and I appreciate the easy to adjust electric drivers seat. Especially on long trips!

- Jess M

Best value for the money.

I have had the Escape for a year and half. Took it to the dealership for one minor repair. . A plastic piece on the manifold for a vacuum line. . That is it. . All we do is oil changes and tire rotations. Over 30, 000 miles and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Best value for the money is the Escape. It is the se package. . For the 4-wheel drive. . For snowy days.

- Charles M

Cool lots of space for a compact SUV.

I have had no problems with my vehicle. The performance is okay could be better. It is very reliable and pretty comfortable but it does not have many features because it is a base model but does have a backup camera. It is a 4 cylinder so gets pretty good gas mileage but not as good as our car for some reason even though they have the same exact engine and engine size.

- Courtney G

I really like the car and I will lease another.

I really like the Ford Escape I am driving now. I have had no problems with it at all. I have been driving it for 2 yrs now with one more year on my lease. The gas mileage is around 23 miles per gallon for city driving, and better on the road. The controls and instruments are all convenient and easy to use I will lease another one unless something else catches my eye.

- Bruce D

My new, modern, tech cars.

Comfortable. Many safety features. Easy to drive. Not extremely economical, about 21 mpg average. Nice interior, beautiful exterior paint job. Easy to drive. At first, I had reservations about a four cylinder engine. My former cars were both v8's (a Cadillac NorthStar and Ford Edge. ) My biggest surprise was the four cylinder engine has almost equal performance,

My Escape couldn't live without it.

I have no problems with the vehicle. The performance is great. I enjoyed driving my Escape, riding in it. There are so many features and add ons that come with the Escape. As soon as I get into my Escape, I hear phone is connected, I love this feature. I only have to say who I need to call and the car does the work for me. Its hands free which is the most important.

- Donna Z

Lots of room and no problems. Easy to handle.

My Escape is very roomy. It's easy to drive I love the backup camera. Its does great in the snow. I have 12 grandkids and when 3 are in back they are not cramped. It's easy to work on and. Somewhat good on gas. We have had it for over a year and nothing has gone wrong. It was nice on vacation because it has enough room for all vacationing bags and lots of legroom.

- Brenda M

My Ford Escape is my baby!

The review I give on this car is amazing! I have always had a ford, recently went from a Fusion to a new Escape and I love it! It is perfect for me. The seats are super comfy and there’s a ton of room in the back. Especially when the seats are laid down. The features on the car also come in handy. Phone calls through speaker is a nice feature as well. I love it.

- Emily T

Favorite part of this vehicle is the gas mileage you are getting

Has been pretty reliable since I've had it. Windshield is very large took some getting used to on sunny days. Overall a great vehicle. The ride is very smooth and it's a compact vehicle so it feels like you are driving a car but with the same space as an SUV so it is a very good vehicle for moms with children who do alot of commuting and/or daily running around .

- Stephanie M

Ford Escape is a great Family SUV!

After browsing and trying so many different cars, I have decided to go with the ford escape, because it's a reliable family SUV. It's roomy enough on the inside and looks stylish and sleek. It's smooth to drive. I am very picky when it comes to the driver's seat, and this ford escape has the most comfortable seat with enough adjustable height and lumbar support.

- Sarah O

It is a perfect size, plus the all wheel drive keeps you from getting stuck in snow!

I like that it sits high off the ground and it is all wheel drive. I do not get stuck in my neighborhood in the winter, like I did when I had a car. I like the rear view camera and that it beeps if I get close to something! I like driving higher off the ground, it feels like I can see more around me. I also feel safer, when driving near the monster sized SUV's.

- Holi E

Great mid range SUV for anyone to use

Performs really well, great for going to the city and the country. Really smooth ride. Easy to change oil on through the cover over the bottom half of the car has clips that hold it into place and if not properly secured it will rattle. If they break you have to get them from a dealer and they are not cheap. Otherwise it's a great car and can fit a lot into it.

- Jackie C

2017 Ford Escape, review on likeability.

I love my Ford Escape. It is the perfect size for a small family or for a teen. It is spacious, does not have blind spots, and easily cleaned. The Ford Escape gets amazing gas mileage and does not cost an arm and a leg to fill up. I would highly recommend for someone who does not know what they're looking for and just need something big enough but not too big.

- Kaitlyn M

Great car with plenty of room for 5 adults.

The car is very dependable. Have had no service issues with it at all. It rides very nice in all types of weather conditions'. The back seat has ample leg room and can fit 3 adults easily. The seats are very comfortable. The 360 camera is so wonderful when backing out of a parking space where two large SUVs are on both sides. The seats fold down with ease.

- Rebecca N

Ford Escape is fun to drive and nippy!

My Ford Escape has great acceleration and handles superbly. It is fun to drive. The back seats are roomy and the trunk is spacious. The sound system works great and in 2.5 years I have had no major problems. The shock absorbers for some reason had to be replaced after less than a year but this was covered under the warranty. It really is a trouble free car.

- Gillian D

A very nice vehicle to drive.

I have had no problems with my car so far. It is easy to drive. The front seats are comfortable and they are very adjustable for a variety of preferences. The back seats are not the most comfortable back seats. There is a lot of room. The technology is good with the back up camera and blind spot lights. The automatic close for the back is ever delightful.

- Kris J

Best tech for best bang for your buck

I love the ford sync feature it was recently updated so you can use Siri to talk to text I wish you could use a voice command for Siri but you have to use the button on the screen. There is a part on the bottom of the car some type of pan protector that comes loose and rattles on bumpy roads but it is a known issue with this and focus models in ford cars

- Sherry M

Ford Edge Review Overall it is a good reliable vehicle

The edge is comfortable to drive. It is a little small for someone used to a full size SUV but it is not bad. It has enough power for a small car. It needs more usb ports in the back for people using phones or tablets while traveling. One of the issues we have is that sometimes the back hatch doesn't close on the first try. Overall it is a good vehicle.

- James S

Best vehicle ever wouldn't buy anything else.

I really love my car it is very comfy and gets great gas mileage. Has a lots of area to load things up if you need to. This is my third Ford Escape do not think I will get any other vehicle best car I have ever had. It is great for camping I can pull my little trailer behind yet it is still small enough to zip in and out of parking spots with no problem.

- Cathleen P

It is a small SUV with four wheel drive and good cargo space.

Very comfortable ride. It sits up high enough that you can see over other cars and feel comfortable in the space of the driver's seat, but not so high that you feel above the other cars around you. The functions are easy to use, the dashboard is user-friendly, and the Bluetooth Sync is a nice feature as well. There is a lot of cargo space in the trunk.

- Cate S

Love my Ford Escape smooth driving and size.

Vehicle is 2.5 years old and has only 11,000 miles on it. I have not had any problems with it. I love the pick up and simplicity. Not a fan of all the bells and whistles. We plan to purchase this car after the lease is up. I am 62 and this vehicle is very comfortable to get into and drive. Perfect size for my needs. Love the look. Very peppy vehicle.

- Frances D

Good compact SUV for family of four.

This is a decent, affordable SUV for a family of 4. Good on gas. We are able to fit 2 car seats in the back seat. I can still fit my groceries in the truck with a single stroller there as well. Not great space in the trunk for a double stroller, in order to fit a double stroller in the truck, the stroller needs to be compact or fold up much smaller.

- Katie K

It is perfect for driving on snow and dirt.

I love this car. It is not too big or too small. It is easy to back out with the rearview camera. I love the smart features. The cargo lift gate is easy to open and close. There is enough room in the back in case you go all out on groceries or go on camping trips. There's no words to explain how amazing the car is. Drive it and you'll fall in love!

- Victoria Z

Why I love my 2017 Ford Escape.

I really like my Ford Escape. It's perfect for driving the kids around and has just enough storage in the trunk for groceries, gym bags, etc. The 2 back seats can fold down separately if I need to transport something bigger. I love the fact that it is so versatile for a small SUV. I also really like the rear view camera for backing up and parking.

- Elizabeth R

One of my all time favorite Ford vehicles.

I love the features on this car, for example the back up camera, the navigation system, the rear lift gate. It gets about 25 miles to the gallon on highway and 22 city driving. The seats are very comfortable, good legroom in back seat and there is plenty of storage room in the way back. I have driven it on several long trips and had no problems.

- Diane P

Ford escape is a great car to drive.

Great pickup. Good gas mileage. Comfortable to drive and ride in even long road trips. Easy to maintain. Extended sunroof so the backseat riders can also enjoy. Heated seats and push button start. Remote start is available on those really cold or really hot days. Reverse camera makes it easy to park and back up. Helps you know your surroundings.

- Lori M

Sound system could be better.

I have had my car for almost a year now and it is performed pretty well so far. My complaints lie more with the technology of the car, and less with the actual functionality. I have had ongoing issues with the media glitching, oftentimes unable to play songs from my phone. I previously leased a Ford Focus that had the exact same issues as well.

- Jack J

Ford Escape is a reliable and dependable vehicle.

I enjoy the ride of my vehicle. It provides a smooth ride. I drive a minimum of 120-130 miles each day to and from work. The only drawback is the vehicle has a small tank so I have to replenish gas every other day which can be sometimes annoying. The interior of the car is nice. When you put the seats down I have room to transport large items.

- Renee M

4 wheel drive, handles great.

I love the way it drives and handles the rough roads we have. It has lots of great features that I enjoy using regularly, like the bluetooth, reverse camera and dual climate control. My only complaints are that it doesn't have heated seats and I wish the gas mileage was just a little better. Overall it's a great car with lots of extra space.

- Julie M

Ford Escape Titanium a great vehicle

The Ford Escape is a great vehicle. Especially if you get the Titanium package. It parallel parks itself to perfection. The eco boost feature also assist drivers with fuel economy. The interior is all leather and exclusive. Ford put a large navigation system in the center to guide drivers with reliability. Once again Ford out did themselves.

- Daniel D

Side mirrors for ease and safety.

The Escape has been a very reliable car that drives easily like the smaller Ford models and can be used for transporting large loads. There are almost no blind spots with the side mirror attachments that come with the car. It drives quiet and smooth, has good acceleration and braking system. Escape has handsfree Bluetooth and capabilities.

- Maria L

Best car we've ever had!!

After searching for weeks for a new vehicle, my husband came across a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium edition. It's electric blue, a beautiful color. Chrome trim. SiriusXM Radio with built in navigation system. Even has a sunroof. Power everything, heated seats. Drives and rides great. We absolutely love it! Wish we would have bought one sooner!

- Amber S

Ford escape the best car around.. heated seats and lots of room

It drives so smooth.. it's my 2nd car.. it has heated seats and a lot of room. It has automatic 4 wheel drive. My children love riding in it with me. Delivered flower in my Ford escape for the passed 3 years. My Ford escape is tan with green flecks in the paint. I have not had any issue with my Ford escape at all. I change oil when it said

- Kristen S

Escape on the road comfortably.

My Ford Escape is reliable. It is spacious and Versatile. It is great for traveling and moving. The navigation system is helpful and the sync set up makes it really easy to have hands free driving. I love the heated seats feature too. The blind spots in the mirrors gives me a sense of safety as well. And it is great on gas for being a SUV.

- Colleen S

The escape to everywhere and nowhere.

Easy to get in and out especially of someone with bad knees and hip can do this without much difficulty. Love to drive it good handling on road. It looks good coming and going that is very important to us. Plenty of legroom front and back seats. Large cargo area with the seats down or not. The 2.0l engine has a little more what we wanted.

- Kathy W

Black Ford SE Escape- Reliable vehicle

My SE Ford Escape is reliable car. It gets great gas mileage and has good pick up. It is spacious inside and can easily fit 4 passengers. The trunk is a good size. This is a great vehicle for a family or for a single person. I have had zero issues with this SUV and have had it for 2.5 years. This will be my 3rd escape that I have leased.

- Jordan B

Red SUV just perfect size for me.

I love my Escape. It is just the right size for me and it works well in snow. I do wish it had a third seat since I have five grandkids. The gas mileage is average. I don't like the Fordpass app as it is not intuitive and it is hard to determine when I need an oil change. I wish oil indicator and tire pressure were easier to access.

- Sandra O

Great gas mileage - great car for on the go!

I haven't had any problem with my 207 Escape. It gets great gas mileage, rides great, allows for room in the trunk and to put my seats down to move things around. One hard issue is putting baby car seats in the backseat, they sit weird and you really have to make sure they are in and secure. Other than that, I would recommend this car!

- Megan S

Safety features change the way I drive.

A great feature is the backup camera, it has helped me a lot! I also love the blind spot detectors on the mirrors. This car has many seat adjustments for the driver, including arch support. It has performed well in the year that I have owned it. I do not have anything bad to say besides I like the outward style of the old model better.

- Kelly S

Fleet vehicle or commuter car.

The seats are not comfortable for a short stature person. The engine is loud so the radio volume is usually on 14😳 it does not accelerate quickly. Not made for a big family but good for work commute and short road trips. Handles pretty good. Aerodynamically is sketchy; winds can cause instability. Outside noise consumes the riders.

- Dania S

It can fit a lot of things in the trunk of the car, especially with the back seats folded down - I fit a loveseat in the back of my car.

My vehicle is the perfect size for what I need and has all of the features I need. It gets me where I need to go safely and has served me well thus far, it even helped me move across the country. My only complaint is that the gas tank seems to be a little small in comparison to other cars, so on road trips you have to stop more often.

- Alison C

Comparing my ford escapes.

My ford escape is a wonderful car. I bought my first one on sight alone. I love the body style. It is very comfortable to drive. My first one would beep as you backed up so you knew how close you were to an object. I do wish my new one did. It does have a backup camera, but I do not feel very comfortable looking at it when I back up.

- Dallas O

The safe and easy driving car.

No problems enjoy driving lots storage this is my third escape and I will buy another one next year. I will also consider ecosport. The car drives well in all weather. I was pleased with it in the snow and rain. I had one turned on its side a few years ago and all airbags exploded. I walked away unharmed. So I feel it is a safe car.

- Beverly S

The 2017 Ford Escape is the smoothest and safest vehicle I have owned.

The 2017 Ford Escape is a very reliable vehicle. I have not experienced any problems or performance issues. The care is extremely comfortable with adjustable seats and plenty of legroom. The ride is very smooth. The vehicle is equipped with a backing camera and blind spot sensors, both of which offer a greater sense of safety.

- Jessica B

Ease of getting in and out for the elderly.

I love driving my Ford Escape. It is easy to handle and gets good gas mileage. One important feature is the height of the vehicle. I transport my 95 year old mother frequently and it is easy for her to get in and out of the Escape. It is not too high for her to get in, nor is it too low which would make it hard for her to get out.

- Suzie F

2017 Escape does not compare to previous model years.

I had a 2014 Escape that had amazing pick up and was fun to drive. This model is a titanium and the acceleration is horrible. It is only. 1 Liter less but the vehicle feels very cheap. When I am riding in the passenger seat, I can feel the wind at the base of the car. I can always hear the wind when I am driving on the expressway.

- Heather C

It is a very good value and the fuel economy is excellent. I probably have spent less in fuel costs on it than I have on most other recent vehicles.

It is a very smooth ride, with responsive handling. I have had very few maintenance problems with it, which I really like and the dealership has been amazing at handling the things that DO come up. There is very little vehicle noise in driving and the cargo space is enough to handle all my day to day needs as well as passengers.

- David W

The 2017 Ford Escape is a great vehicle on and off the roadway.

I recently purchased a Ford Escape from a local dealer and I love it. I have had it now for almost one year and have had no issues with it at all. It is a very sturdy vehicle inside and out and performs better than expected on the roadway. It also performs very well in adverse weather conditions. Overall this is a great vehicle.

- Mason G

Easy to maintain. Fun to drive.

Great performance overall, comfortable, fuel efficient, easy to service. The car is comfortable. The car is fuel efficient yet speedy. The car is easy to service, vehicle only in shop for regular maintenance, attractive looking a small SUV yet roomy. Like the vehicle so much I own three of them 3 different years very enjoyable.

- Jim S

There are so many options you can make it as luxurious as you want it to be.

This vehicle handles like a car unlike some larger SUVs which I really like. The turn radius is great, making it easy to park and maneuver in tight downtown areas. One of my favorite features is the ability to save seat settings- when someone else drives my car I just have to press a button and it moves back into place for me!

- Tina G

Smooth ride for the cost. Spacious interior for a small to midsize SUV

Not a full size SUV but gives plenty of room. 4-wheel drive great for winter weather - snow. Bluetooth is beneficial. Ford offers plenty of options at an affordable cost. dislike - The driver side window goes down with one push of button. But does not go up - need to hold lever entire time. Wish it had better gas mileage

- Margaret S

Great family SUV and teaching new driver's.

I love my SUV it has been the best purchase I could have made. I use the cruise control all of the time because you can be driving along and look down to find that you are speeding. The ride is so smooth you do not know you are speeding. It is a great SUV for my 16 to learn how to drive in also she had great visibility in it.

- Denise C

I have the ecoboost option on my car and it is awesome! It shuts my car off at stop lights to save on gas and I get amazing gas mileage for an SUV.

I like that my car is fast and fuel efficient. I also like that it is like driving a car because it is faster than most other SUV's I have driven, however I loved my last car and almost wish I kept it. I have a smaller SUV and I still can't haul anything in it so it is kind of useless for anything other than normal errands.

- Justen W

Good quality but some problems.

I have had good reliability for the last two years with my SUV. It is comfortable with the basic features package. I love the sync system. I have had several problems though. I have had a transmission connector replace and had to have the computer reset because of problems with the sync system and the heating and air system.

- Elizabeth K

As long as your keys are on you, you can open the door just by touching the door handle.

It's a great size with seating for five. The backup assist camera and blind spot side mirror warnings are the best and I love them. Heated leather seats and a sunroof are great options I have as well. I wish it had cool seats and sometimes the navigation screen gets stuck. Those are the only two things I wish I could change.

- Jodie L

Ford Escape not worth the money for MPG

Seats are not comfortable, gas mileage is not even close to what the sticker says it should be. MPG is max of 24 in summer and 22 in winter - sticker said 29 mpg. Paint chips started from day one and there is more every time you wax it which is every two weeks. Driver's door has discolored and dealership doesn't know why

- Donna B

Love my Ford Escape! Is has been the perfect car for us!

Our Ford escape is easy to get in and out of, gets good gas mileage, plenty of luggage room. We like the high position because visibility is better than on a sedan. It is an attractive car and easy to drive. We have the Bluetooth feature which we love. We bought it a year ago and have been very pleased with its performance.

- Judy L

The vehicle includes Bluetooth which makes it safer to receive and make calls.

The 2017 Ford Escape is very efficient on gas. It is also very reliable. The comfort inside is amazing. It has Bluetooth so you can listen to incoming texts and respond vocally; you can also receive calls and make outgoing calls safer than if you didn't have Bluetooth. It has automated adjustable seats which is always nice.

- Madison D

Excellent, efficient vehicle

I have not experienced any problems with the Ford escape. A performance very well and is very reliable. It is very comfortable for both driver and all passengers. Plenty of cargo space. I love the free SYNC system and the ability to connect to Android Auto via USB connection. It performs very well in several inches of snow.

- Erin L

Good gas mileage, but didn't love the mom car look and feel.

Tires have not been great. Gas mileage had been a lot better than my old f150. It costs half as much to fill up and gets me farther than the truck. It is not as easy to transport things as it was in a truck, but everything always stays dry. Overall not a horrible vehicle, but definitely do not love it like I did the truck.

- Stephanie C

Rides well, decent gas mileage,

I enjoy driving my car, it rides well and hasn't had any major problems thus far. I like that it is a newer model, but if I could I would have chosen a different color other than red. I also would have opted for heated seats and a sunroof, I really miss those features. I enjoy the digital speed display, and miles to empty.

- Jessica B

Perfect small size SUV for your family.

I absolutely love my Escape. It is the perfect size for my family, I have two kids. I love the amount of trunk space, especially with having to haul a stroller around. My vehicle is not all wheel drive and that is my only complaint. They do have this option for this make and model of vehicle so I would highly recommend it.

- Kayla M

Ford Escape handling by a non-car person.

Overall, I love my Escape. It handles well and turns easily. I feel very safe driving it. I love the responsiveness in bad weather especially. My only complaint would be that it feels more like a truck where you feel every bounce so it is not as smooth as I would like. But the safety and handling far outweigh this for me.

- Stephanie G

The hands free Bluetooth feature is great. I can play music or make phone calls.

My 2017 Ford Escape has EcoBoost! This is a really nice feature that helps me save on gas. I like the smooth ride and the comfortable seats. I do not like the way the head rest sits. There is a lot of room in the back of this car. I like that the second row seats can fold down to make for a spacious area for larger items.

- Jessica F

2017 Ford Escape. Good value

Vehicle performs well. I have had no performance issues or reliability issues. I have the smaller 8 in display and it is fine for me. The only thing that I wish this year had is the heated seats, which is now standard in all Escape models. Vehicle drives well and have had no issues with brakes, steering or transmission

- Andrea B

The (blue) apple of my eye.

My car drives well. I feel safe in it and I trust that it will deliver me and my family safely to our destination. I enjoy the color of the car, the backup camera and other safety features, and other upgrades (leather seats, room roof, etc..). Ford makes a great product and the Escape is a reliable and comfortable model.

- Debra C

Ford escape driven with tenderness.

Good looking car, dependable, great gas mileage. Smooth riding and easy to handle. Good on snow and ice. Has a pleasant but efficient interior. Has a powerful stereo system, with eight speakers. Has a rear backup camera, that really helps in a tight spot. Has the new headlights that help u see the road better at night.

- Jim K

Escape. I love everything about my car. To Escape!

I have not had any problems with my car since the purchase of it 13 months ago. The performance has been great and very reliable, have driven out of town four times since ownership. And for the mid size of it, it is pretty comfortable and has great features such as backup camera, Bluetooth, USB port, CD player radio. .

- Joyce H

It is not big enough for at max more than 2 children in car seats, but is perfect size for one.

The 2017 Ford Escape is a great starter SUV for a small family. It runs well, rarely has issues, and gets great gas mileage. My main complaint is that if you have more than one child, it's honestly too small to fit car seats. This would be better suited for families with older children, or families with only one child.

- Abbigaik B

A smart purchase for families.

Very reliable mechanically but the small things on the interior seem to break easily and are low quality. The seats and computer system work perfectly and are very reliable. The car is a quicker SUV and has some pick up. Overall I recommend this car to anyone with a family looking for space and luxury for a good price.

- Cameron T

Back up camera. This feature is fantastic and it should be in all vehicles.

Love my vehicle. It rides well. Seat is very comfortable. . . I feel very safe love the back up camera and many of the other features. . I would highly recommend this vehicle to others if they were in the market. . The gas consumption is not on the positive side so I would recommend a hybrid next time as that matters.

- Amy B

Ford escape 2017, not so good

Over all it wasn't what I was expecting, I feel like it was made very cheap. I left the dealership with stock everything. I bought it new! and around 6 months in to it, the plastic covers on my undercarriage have broken off, my tires never can hold enough air, and the rims are lug nuts have broken off. not to happy.

- Gabi H

Great and Comfortable Escape

It is a comfortable car to drive and be a passenger in with soft seats and different options. Having heated seats and so much control over its position is a great plus. It has limited performance issues mainly involving over heating. I love how reliable it is and how well it runs even in terrible weather conditions.

- Molly C

This car has good gas mileage and can have 4 passengers plus the driver!

I got the vehicle because I was concerned about driving in harsh conditions and bad weather; I wanted something reliable. The only issue I have come across is that there is a leak in one of the axial rods. Other than that, it drives really well. It has enough space for four passengers, and it gets good gas mileage.

- Madison A

My 2017 Ford Escape is reliable

The 2017 is a nice reliable SUV. However if you have a big family, it's not a suitable size. It's pretty small. The base model like I have still have great features such as sync (Bluetooth), and backup camera. Everything is still in good shape on the vehicle but I do experience a little rattling underneath the car.

- Catherine D

Title: 2017 Ford Escape ideal car with great gas mileage.

Great vehicle but you need to get use to the "stop start" feature, which does save gas. Easy dashboard look with sync doing a great job with navigation and phone. With a 4x4 it moves real well during the winter. Only drawback on this vehicle, the interior surfaces, dash and doors, are difficult to just wipe clean.

- Adrian F

Great vehicle! I love the pickup and go!!

I wish I had 4 wheel drive instead of 2x2 but I love the gas mileage as well as the pick up and go! I do enjoy the mileage and the miles that were available for the lease. . . With the tires, I am able to go through the snow but I am afraid that I will not be able to move through the snow with the 2nd year lease.

- Sheri H

Peppy SUV, looks expensive & does not hurt the wallet!

Runs great. No problems. Not sure what else to say. Great gas mileage. Peppy for a 4 cyl! It is very comfortable on trips long & short. Went from an expedition to an escape & still getting used to the smaller vehicle. Still love it! Would recommend for anyone. Did great in the snow in pa this past winter.

- Wendy H

Nice, but on the smaller size.

I do love the car, but I feel like the car is made for small people. I am plus sized and feel as though it is not wide enough. All the features are awesome, love the backup camera and Sirius radio. Not a huge fan of sync, and our child's car seat cannot fit in the backseat unless you shove the front seat forward.

- Shannon B

It is a good small family car that is very reliable.

I really enjoy my car. It is a good size car for a small family. It gets good gas mileage and it is very reliable. We've had it over a year and haven't had any problems with it. The Escape model we have is the base model so it has very few features but the automatic headlights and rear camera are nice features.

- Jordan M

Fords great Escape for on the go.

It is been pretty reliable, comfortable drive, and ride for the family. No air sound when you are driving like other SUVs good on gas especially going long distances, great stereo system. Came with satellite radio automatically, has air conditioner vents in the front and back that makes it a comfortable ride.

- J V

It's a great family car. Good for a family of four.

I like that I have space for two car seats. I like that I have plenty of room in the trunk to cart things around like the stroller and groceries. I use the trunk as a changing table for my kids when we're out which is convenient. I love how it looks. I love the backup camera. I don't really have any dislikes.

- Erin V

Great parking ability and yet plenty of space for my guests.

My vehicle is perfect for me as I am able to be up high and see clearly. I can park very easily and it has enough room for my friends and shopping. It is easy to have my car serviced and because it is relatively new it does not need much maintenance. I enjoy driving some distance as my car is so comfortable.

- Marie B

The Ford Escape is the perfect size for a family of four.

I am thrilled with the Ford Escape. It is just the right size to drive my two children to their activities. I feel safe and spacious, but it is also still a compact vehicle. I love that the windshield is vertical so it doesn't make my eyes dizzy. We have not had any problems with it since we began the lease.

- Michele M

It is easy to maintain gets good mpg ,popular a lot of them on the road.

I don't like the gas tank filler on the passenger side ,but the car drives well, gets good mpg. The blind spot alarm are rear camera are awesome ,so is the hands free phone feature. Over the years I've bought many Ford's ,4 escape a Bronco 2 ,Mustang and a couple of Rangers ,all held up with few minor issues.

- Ed F

The car's roomy interior is great for road trips even for backseat adult passengers.

My escape has extremely comfortable seats and generally runs like a dream. I am very sorry I did not get sync 3. I would have loved those extra features. My biggest complaint is that when I put the car in reverse and start to move my car jolts like I have hit something. The dealer cannot find the cause.

- Robin B

The Ford Escape is a safe and reliable vehicle.

The Escape has a smooth ride, sleek look, and great sound system. The down side it for the people who have to ride in the back seat it is such a tight squeeze and their knees always hit the back of the seats. The trunk has a ton of room so the back seats could have been pushed back to make it more spacious.

- Jessica S

Customers should be informed of how easy it is to get in and out of the escape. Especially if you have back or legs issues like I do and my husband did.

No complaints. This is my third escape in a row. I lease my car for 2 or 3 years apart. I have never had any problems. Also it was much easier to get in and out of for my husband and myself. My husband passed away a couple of months ago. However, I Will probably still get another escape when my lease is up.

Review of the 2017 Ford Escape.

The Ford Escape is the perfect car for me. It is smooth and easy to drive. The features I enjoy the most are the sync system, heated seats, back up camera, and automatic start. It seats 5 and has plenty of trunk space. However, this is not a great family car if you have more than two children in car seats.

- Stephanie N

Safe and reliable Ford Escape- I would give it a 10.

I got into an awful accident involving two other cars, and my car kept me safe even though the other two cars got totaled. I like knowing I am safe even when other drivers make unexpected moves. It is very reliable as well, it runs smoothly and in the almost 2 years I have had it I have never had problems.

- Katherine D

Great SUV great price lots of creature features.

It is a nice SUV very comfortable great ride with all the room I need for everyday driving and has great storage capacity it has many comfort features also has all wheel drive and a ecoboost engine which provides plenty of power the all wheel drive provides stability and traction in all weather conditions.

- carmine C

I like the connectivity with my iPhone. Hands free calling is so nice.

I have had no problems. I really like the Ford Escape. This is my third one. Drives nice and is great in the snow. Gas mileage is a little low but that is the way it is with all SUV’s. I have always had good luck with the Ford Escape and I have respect for the dealership. They have always been pleasant.

- Joy F

Sporty look but versatile.

The escape is a perfect small SUV. It provides great visibility with it is height, and rides smoothly. I have not had any mechanical issues at all, but have it serviced regularly. The versatility with the back seats makes moving large items possible and great room if you have dogs that you take with you.

- Tammy N

It's a Good small family car. Very comfortable, especially on long road trips!

Love it! Drives Great, decent space and trunk size. I love the backup camera and features such as paste gar has own air control and can be different from driver. Would like a sunroof lol. And four wheel drive. And at this point maybe even third row seating. But those are comfort things not have to have!

- Sharon P

It is an amazing vehicle for the price.

I love my escape! It has great traction control so it goes great in all weather conditions. There's A ton of room and the seats are pretty comfortable. The only complaint I have is that you cannot pause music from the steering wheel. The voice command button is where I would expect a pause button to be.

- Katie W

Functional and zippy small SUV.

I really like my escape. It is good on gas and has enough room for a daily commuter. I like the automatic 4 wheel drive. We bought this vehicle because even though it is a small SUV it has quite a bit of power. It has all of the accessories that I need for an hour and a half round trip commute each day.

- Laura R

We are a Ford family and have been for a long time.

I have not had any problems with my Escape. I lease through fords always and I have not had any problems with any lease I have had in the past. My lease is through my deceased husband and so I was able to keep my insurance through ford's. We are a Ford family and my children also have Ford cars/trucks.

- Sandra A

Ford Escape 2017: The positive outlooks of the SUV

My car is very affordable, has a Bluetooth radio with other sources as well includes Sirius XM, heated seats, a great sound system, it also has sport mode which is a nice feature besides that it does not have the best gas mileage. It only gets about 23 miles per gallon in the city and 30 on the highway

- Julia B

I enjoy the sport feature updates including partial leather seats, heated seats.

I wish there was more room on the inside especially for the front passengers legs. I enjoy the ecoboost feature with the automatic shutoff. I've found a generic air vent phone holder does not stay in place well like it did in my old vehicle. I wish the main screen and back up camera screen were larger.

- Courtney S

Ford Escape and it is pros and cons.

My Ford Escape is perfect for someone my age. I am 25, I run to work and then school. There’s enough room for all my bags. It drives smooth, the only thing that bothers me the most is that it is not the best on gas. I travel a lot from Staten Island to Jersey and I have to fill up whenever I do that.

- Angelica F

Overall good quality vehicle

This vehicle gets average 24 mpg. I purchased it with 10,000 miles already on it. I have not had any issues with vehicle. I like that the rear seats fold down and I have used the cargo area several times. It is very roomy. The height of the car allows me to slide into and out of the driver seat easily.

- Cathy S

It's a very reliable vehicle good safety record and pretty comfortable ride too.

I like that I can have a comfortable ride. I also like the pickup that the car has with a 2. 0 liter engine. I also like the ease of getting into the escape because I have some physical limitations. And, I like the amount of room in the escape both in the driver/passenger and back area of this vehicle.

- Irma M

Great gas mileage good performance out of a 1. 5 turbo.

We have had a brake solenoid that they replaced. No other problems. It has 42. 000 miles on it. When it was going out the brakes would partially lock and or fade this was a scary issue we kept taking it to the dealer and they could never find a problem. But they finally caught it but that took a year.

- Joseph G

2018 Ford Escape offers SUV lifestyle in more compact way.

I love the size that the Escape offers. It allows more room than a car but does not feel as bulky as an SUV does. It also drives nicely - I drive 100 miles to and from work each day so the ride is important to me. My one issue is I wish it had better gas mileage, but other than that it has been great!

- Kayla D

Escape is a sporty / SUV / family vehicle.

Very fuel efficient and comfortable to drive. Roomy enough for many activities from tailgating to week long vacations for a family of 3 to weekly errands. Really appreciate Ford’s remote start and the heated seats during cold weather. The Escape is the perfect blend of sporty / SUV / family vehicle.

- Renee M

Ford Escape: Great performance & reliability but not very comfortable.

The car performs really well, I have never had any performance issues. It is very reliable. It is lacking in the comfort department; the driver's seat is not very comfortable and the base of the seat is too long for my short legs. This is my third Escape in a row and by far the most uncomfortable one.

- Ashley V

Amazing vehicle with amazing features.

This car is amazing, love the backup camera, very roomie on the inside, gas mileage is very impressive I can go anywhere from 2 to 2 1/2 weeks before I have to fill it up again, I am able to hook my phone up through my phone which is great/less of a distraction when driving, over all a fantastic car.

- Ashley H

Ease of driving, comfort and easily accessible for driver and passenger.

It is very easy to drive and handle. Easy in and out of vehicle. Sitting higher makes everything easier to see with no major blind spots. Storage is convenient and love not having to stoop to get into the trunk. Not a ton of bells and whistles, but, just enough to make driving and riding pleasurable.

- Roberta M

Want to drive todays affordable SUV, get the Escape.

No problems so far. Stylish like all the other SUVs. Has great gas mileage. Great pick up with the turbo. Plenty of room and storage. Rides smooth and comfy. Would recommend this vehicle. Lots of Ford dealers available. There are many electronic aids and features. Ford help is just a phone call away.

- Patricia S

Blue 2017 Ford Escape small SUV.

It's great car and has no problems. Though I aim trying to figure out why their is water rings on the top of my roof. Other than that the console in my car is super functional. Since it's a small SUV I have enough for friends and for my two dogs. I can almost fit all my stuff from my dorm inside it.

- Katie L

You get a taste of the ecoboost, and your like yes I want it.

I love that my vehicle has ecoboost, I use it a lot on the freeway, I love the camera when I back up and it's a smooth ride on the freeway and on the side streets. It's very comfortable, my vehicle sets 5 people. I choose mine to have the black rims, my car is grey, not too many out here that I see.

- Cece C

That it does take a little while to figure out how to set the seat in a way that is best for you. Also it does get good gas mileage compared to other suv type of vehicles.

I like the fact that my vehicle has a backup camera. I wish that it had the noise sensor along with it. The only other thing that I would have to complain about it is that it does not have a sensor on the back to automatically open up the back hatch. Other than those two things I love my vehicle.

- Emily H

Very reliable mid size SUV.

The car is very reliable and great for travel. It is a nice size SUV and you do not feel overwhelmed in it. The back up camera is nice to have especially now during these times. I have no complainants about this car. As long as you keep up with the maintenance of the vehicle everything will be fine.

- Melissa K

Safe and reliable and fun to drive.

I love my car. Safe, reliable, fuel efficient. Plenty of room and sync system is nice. I had a 2014 Escape and loved it too. Perfect for a small family. I love the color I have and doesn't get too hot in the summer months. The sound system is great as well and can hook up to any downloadable music.

- Brooke M

Sporty and economical family SUV.

It is smooth acceleration, great gas mileage and comfortable to drive. Sound system is awesome. Breaking is firm and quick. It has great ability to pick up groceries. However it is a bit small when taking vacation with 5 people. Once luggage is loaded in the vehicle, there is no room for souvenirs.

- Matthew L

Which is very good quality and very comfortable, is also innovative.

Good the truth is a great vehicle, I do your services every 4 to 6 months (depending on the use and wear it has) is very comfortable and perfect for trips with my family, in terms of the engine and its good performance, a little expensive at the time of gasoline but it is worth the expense for it.

- Andrew M

It seems very reliable, and is decent on gas mileage for an AWD vehicle.

I love the convenience in this car. I have the AWD feature, which is great in the winter. I also like the keyless enter - where you can get into the car with a code. Very nice feature when others in your party may want to get into the car, and they don't have to track down a car key to do that.

- Carole L

Great American made car, check it out.

This is s reliable vehicle. I leased it new, so. Maintenance is low, save for oil and filter changes, along with tire rotations. There's enough power to accelerate onto highways. Gas mileage is good for a small SUV. There's also enough room in the back in case you need to move anything anywhere.

- Pat M

Great on gas.

So far there has been no problems; a solenoid has been replaced which caused the check engine light to come on. It was replaced by the dealer where I bought the car. There has been no other problems. The car gets fairly good mileage the air conditioning works well in the hot weather where I live.

- Donald S

Love my Escape and highly recommend to others.

Comfortable, adjustable seating. Quiet, great ride. Lots of features - Sirius radio, sunroof, etc. Spacious. I haven't had any problems whatsoever. Love the adjustable heating and cooling. Decent gas mileage. Drives great in inclement weather. Didn't pay for the navigation but wish I would have.

- Nancy E

Boring and uninspired with transmission issues.

It is slow, the transmission is unresponsive, the check engine light comes on a lot, it is uncomfortable. The base model does not have many good features and it is kind of ugly. The backseat does have a decent amount of room and the trunk space is nice. But overall I will never get another ford.

- Name A

Bad shocks and poor gas mileage.

The gas mileage is horrible, I drive a lot and spend about $400 on gas per month. Additionally, my 10 month old, bought brand new from the dealership car, just had the rear shocks go out. That is unacceptable in my mind. I shouldn't have to try to figure out how to get my new car into the shop.

- Amy K

Good car for families on the go.

Good mileage for an SUV, really like the ecosport engine, good storage space, plenty of legroom, car seats for my kids fit easily. Starts without any issues in the winter, has a smooth ride, and the standard stereo is decent quality. Has a backup camera, heated seats, and Bluetooth connection.

- Patrick I

Not enough cargo space for more than a family of four to use on vacation

I like the camera rearview mirror. The voice activated radio option is also nice, as is the ability to play music on CD or from a thumb drive. I find the gas mileage good and the view of the road from the driver's seat. The cargo area is kind of small, however, but for grocery trips, it is OK.

- Mark L

Back up cam will alert you when you are close to something.

Very comfortable, when you have the 3 row seating up though there is very little room to haul anything. Seating is comfortable. Easy entry and exit into the vehicle. I have not had any problems with this vehicle. Heated seats are wonderful in the winter and heated steering wheel feels amazing.

- Brandy L

Love my 2017 Escape. It lets me feel safe and secure on the road.

Love the smart all wheel drive. Like the blind spot lights, back up camera and built in GPS. Dislike the type of windshield wipers and the shape of the side mirrors. Comfortable seats and ample storage. I do not like how it feels in windy situations. It feels like it is going to blow over.

- Doreen M

I don't love it but its not bad

The car is ok. I don't love it. There's not much pick up at all. It's comfortable enough but the back seat has no room. The distance to the touch screen seems weird for the driver. The Bluetooth drops a lot and the info screen can be unreliable. Gas mileage is less than I thought it would be.

- Lucia C

The SUV to recommend to anyone with a family or who travels.

The 2017 ford escape is very reliable and I would recommend this vehicle to anyone. The AWD works beautifully in the northeast snow and the performance is smooth and comfortable. The hatchback is plenty of room and easy to keep clean. The interior is comfortable and easy to maintain as well.

- Angela B

The dark blue Ford Escape

The ac could be stronger for the back seat, it take a while for it to cool off in the back. I also feel that I have a good size blind spots when trying to change intersections. I do like the camera in the back for backing up. When I get too close to something and it beeps that helps so much!

- Louise W

The vehicle is not worth the price I paid.

The seats are not comfortable, and the ride is a little rough for a SUV. Doesn't get great gas mileage. The tires wore down fast, and the door has always had a rattle that ford will not fix for free even though I bought it brand new. I would not buy another one unless they make them better.

- Mark C

Ford Escape: a great compact SUV

Only complaint is about the suspension. It's very hard and as my city (Austin, TX) has terrible roads, is not very comfortable. Apart from that it's a great car: reliable, smooth, good navigation, great cost/benefit, good fuel efficiency, and a good size for a SUV- not too big but spacious.

- Carolina M

I love this vehicle, shes pretty sassy

I love most things about my car. It has Bluetooth which is a game changer, a back up camera that's pretty helpful since it's a bigger car, and power everything. I wish it had a sunroof, but that's not a big deal. It drives great and is really pretty quick, so far I haven't had any problems.

- Brittany S

The Ford Escape is worth every penny

It's big enough to fit my 2 car seats and drives really well. Great gas mileage and overall good experience. I like the sync technology that automatically picks up my phone so it can make calls and music through Bluetooth. The trunk is large and has enough room for a stroller and groceries

- Melissa B

Comfort issues in my escape.

I wish was that there was more leg room in back, it is hard to have child car seats in it. Have to have front seats all the way up making it uncomfortable to drive. Also am not happy with how the air conditioner works, it is very noisy. It is hard to adjust it without the fan running loud.

- Barbara S

Great for family vacations.

Power windows, power locks. Dual airbags, side curtain airbags, back seat airbags, good ac, great heat, rear wiper, smooth ride, good towing capacity, roomy back seat, lots of, elbow room, back up camera. USB ports, Bluetooth, phone connectivity, 6 cup holders, glasses holder, comfy seats.

- Allison B

My title is: My Ford Escape and me.

It sometimes hesitates to start, but otherwise I love it. It's great on gas and a smooth comfortable ride. I really enjoy driving my Ford Escape. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to buy a compact SUV. It's a very good and reliable vehicle with lots of room and cargo space.

- Robin M

There is no particular highlight.

Windshield fogs up and gets spotty in the morning before the car warms up. Otherwise the car is fine. Power tailgate is a nice feature once you get used to it. The car has the eco engine so it is zippy and responsive. Color is nice in ruby red and the black wheel rims is a very nice touch.

- Mark V

My vehicle is easy to maintain

I love my vehicle but I really wish I had a moonroof. I also lease and drive a lot so I wish I could have a leave without paying a fortune for miles. I love the look on the inside of the vehicle, very easy to clean. I wish it has a third row but the escape just isn't big enough for that.

- Olivia S

Comfortable, affordable car with plenty of room!

Drives wonderfully and very comfortable. It is great for cross-country trips! The driver's seat is adjustable so it is great for a short person like me! There is plenty of space to put luggage, pet carriers and hauling things. The mileage could be better but I do a lot of in-town driving.

- Kris M

Ford escape -- the good and not so good features.

The ford escape is a very comfortable car and has Bluetooth and Sirius XM radio. It has four wheel drive which makes it easy to drive in bad weather. Like many SUVs it takes a lot of gas. I get 24.5 miles per gallon, and I wish that it was higher. Overall it is a good value for the money.

- Leonard H

It has bluetooth! And I love that convenience.

I originally wanted a convertible when I went car shopping. But the dealer talked me into a more practical and bigger vehicle with a roof. I realized, I needed a much bigger vehicle for my 2 dogs and my printing business where I am always delivering huge boxes of print jobs to my clients.

- Dave S

I highly recommend this vehicle.

We really love our Ford Escape 2017 model that we have. It is easy to operate and learn for a first time driver like me. It has everything that we wanted for a vehicle. Very smooth to drive and it is comfortable for me because I am not too tall or too short so I can still drive perfectly.

- Arlene A

Love my escape because of all the safety features.

My escape has safety features to help me drive better, like blind spot, collision warning, rear view sensor with backup camera. The seats are comfortable for a long ride and look like leather and feel like leather even though they're fake leather. I feel I get more than the price I paid.

- Chana S

It's a good car, no problems and it works for everything

I use my Ford for simple things in life, like getting groceries, going on road trips etc. I think that performance is great. I can rely on it, there are a few problems but they are fixable. Great comfort, seats are great for anyone of age. The features also suit my needs and preferences.

- May G

My opinion: do not buy a ford escape.

I am just not pleased with it at all and regret getting it, glad it is a lease. Just feels shallow, not comfortable. I truly enjoyed the ford fusion which is the car I had prior to this one and I wish I got another fusion and not the escape. I do not like the way it rides overall either.

- Stephanie H

The 2017 Ford Escape. My review!

The Ford Escape 2017 is reliable, affordable, and compact. My 3 small children fit in the back and the front is roomy enough for my husband and I. The gas mileage and great and lights are nice and bright. I recommend the Ford Escape for families just starting out or with little children.

- Meghan L

Escapes are a great way to Escape on the road.

The navigation is great. Love the rear camera and blind spot detectors. The trunk feature is great as well. Hold a lot for moving too! Decent on gas and there's plenty of room. There are heated seats which is great in the winter time as well. Overall, no complaints at all. Great vehicle.

- Colleen E

Great gas mileage and drives great.

It is great on gas mileage and very roomy. It drives very smooth and has a lot of features. I love it. I think everyone should own a ford. We have always had fords that have ran forever. The color is also amazing and the best feature is the key code in case you lock your keys in the car.

- Tam L

Ford Escape pros and cons

I will not get this model in front wheel drive ever again. Either AWD or FWD is a must where I live. Car as is does not do well in snow. Otherwise it is a great car. Plenty of room especially for rear seat passengers. Very spacious cargo area as well. Handles well during non snow months

- David T

Best small fuel efficient SUV!

I love my Escape, wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world! Great on gas, and very nice ride!! This is my s come Escape I have had, they are the best small SUVs anyone could own. I would recommend anyone to get this vehicle! If you are looking for a small SUV, try a Ford Escape!

- Kelli B

It is a grey ford escape it gets me where I need to go

The seats are too small and the lights on the dash aren't bright enough the brakes are not that great the car leans when u make a sharp turn and the way the audio system is set up is very confusing and also can be very frustrating to explain to someone who is unfamiliar with the vehicle

- Isaiah R

Escape in your escape every day for the rest of your life!

I love the great gas mileage I get with my escape. I like the hand controls on the steering wheel, the dash display of mileage speed and how many miles I have left until I need to stop for gas. The dash backup camera is great. I like the alerts I get for low tires, washer fluid, etc...

- Helen R

Joys of owning a ford. Sporty looking and drives well.

I like having automatic seats as it makes it easy to get in and out of car. I like having where phone can be accessed in car with dashboard. Seats are comfortable especially on long trips. Gas mileage is good. The car has good storage and I can pack a lot into backseat and trunk areas.

- Sandy T

I would say that if the transmission is a real problem, then that is what they would need to know about.

Love the car. The only problem we have had is with the display screen, intermittently going black, from start of the engine. We get around it by " jump starting" it with our phones plugged into car play. We seem to have a transmission problem with the engine will rev up while driving.

- Nadine B

Reliable car, boring to drive.

I have so far not had any issues with this SUV, and it has been very reliable. . . The reason I rate it as a 3 is because it is an automatic(I prefer manual shift) and it is just a boring vehicle. . . It is however, good in the snow because of the all wheel drive with traction control.

- Wendy D

My car is a white, 2017 Ford Escape.

I love my car. The front windshield offers a wide view and I don't feel cramped. Haven't had any issues so far having it 2 years, the only thing is it's a little noisy when driving on the freeway, kind of sounds like a window is cracked open. Overall it drives smooth and is reliable.

- Shannon M

It is very great on gas mileage.

I love my car. I spend a lot of time in my car and it is very sleek and comfortable. If you want space, it has it. If you want reliability, it has it. It is also great on gas. I would say to anyone that is looking to buy to get something reliable and sporty but sleek and very trendy.

- Melody P

Roomy, comfortable and good on gas

I've had my Ford Escape for 2 yrs. It runs just as smooth as it did when I drove it off the lot.it's roomy and comfortable for the entire family. I really enjoy my touch free hatch. The navigational screen is big enough to be able to use it but yet it doesn't take up the entire dash.

- Susan M

Works for me but rear camera not helpful

The rear camera does not beep if something is behind me. The Ford app doesn't always work. It is easy to drive and big enough for me. I think I should've gotten the Sirius radio for 12 months, not 6. The backseat is big enough and trunk is a good size to fit groceries and a stroller.

- Daryl R

It's a great reliable car. Go with the Titanium model and you will have most of the modern day features you need. It's really a great car

I absolutely love this vehicle It's the 2nd one I have purchased. My only complaint is I can never get the hands free liftgate to work. Your suppose to be able to kick your leg and it opens but it never works for me. I would also like it to be a tab bigger. But not as big as the Edge

- Michelle B

I love my Ford Escape it has a lot of features for the money

I love the panoramic sunroof and the automatic start from the app. My only complaint is the capless gas tank some pumps get stuck in it. Also the Apple play port doesn't always connect my phone. I also wish it had ventilated seats and auto wipers. Front parking assist would be great

- Julia M

This is an awesome car! I love driving it.

I love the ford escape. Seats are extremely comfortable. I have currently had no issues with performance or reliability. I love the rims on the titanium and that you can customize the light color inside the car. You can also have the GPS show up on your touchscreen from your phone.

- Megan I

2017 ford escape rave review.

This escape is the most comfortable car I've ever driven. It has plenty of room to seat 5 comfortably. My only wish is that it would have had third row seating so we could have sat more. We liked the escape much better than the bigger edge. We are just very happy with our purchase.

- Terry G

The best car purchase I've ever made was my Ford Escape

I love my Ford Escape. I purchased it brand new because it came fully equipped. It comes equipped with everything I need, such as the back up camera, Bluetooth, and sync to my iPhone. It's comfortable and the perfect size. There's plenty of trunk space, and it's very gas efficient.

- Diana D

Dependability this car is great.

This small SUV is a great car. It rides smooth and has all the comforts of the larger models. Great on gas and so far not one problem with it. Great for dogs and for luggage. Got rear ended on the highway and not one mark on the car, quality built would definitely buy another one.

- Debbie S

Perfect size and reliable.

I haven't had any issues at all with my car and I have had it for almost 3 years. It is not big and bulky but has enough room to haul a good amount of things. It is comfortable and drives nicely! I have two dogs and even they haven't been able to cause destruction to the interior.

- Kayla Y

I do not know exactly what this means but I love my ford escape.

My car is the best thing I have ever came across in my life I love it. It is everything I have ever wanted in a car and I wouldn't trade it for the world gets me where I need to be in a dozen things I needed to do but most of all it takes care of me the same way I take care of it.

- Mary B

Ford's best grab at soccer moms.

Cute car for putzing around in town. Perfect for moms on the go. I like the space in the rear end gate. Holds plenty of gear, strollers. Needs more horsepower if you are used to a v8. It's a step down from a 7 seater but still plenty of space. I would purchase this vehicle again.

- Kim H

I love the ecoboost gas saver

My Ford Escape is a hybrid therefore it's good on gas, 4 cylinder regular size engine. It has a semi smooth take off. The radio features are up to date. However it seems to have issue with the headlights not staying lit. It also has great traction control when bad weather permits

- Regina A

Ford escape easy to drive and comfortable

The Ford escape is easy to drive and comfortable. I have a near any problems with it in with 2 1/2 years I have it. I do wish you had more cup holders in the backseat. I like the back up camera and the steering system the seats are portable and easy to clean it dries very easily.

- Julie M

The great Ford Escape: love it!

I really enjoy my vehicle. It drives very nicely and I love the sound system it's really great. I also love being able to change the ambient lighting, it makes the car seem really nice and expensive. It also has a great amount of space, its a bigger interior than you'd expect.

- Abby T

Good family car that can be used to haul things around. Great stereo system.

It has a start and stop when stopped at a light or parked. It gets annoying. It turns the air off and shuts off the engine. There is a button you can push to turn it off but, when your in traffic it, you can forget to push it and you can freak out thinking that your vehicle died.

- Erin T

Unhappy with ford, specially sunrise Ford North Hollywood.

Disappointed with ford, had problems since the first month and no warranty from dealer. Brakes were bad and it cost me about 300 plus to fix within a year of use, backing up sounds like is going to fall apart, and now power windows failing and vehicle have had less than 2 years.

- Amanda H

My amazing fully loaded Escape

It is fully loaded. Its push to start, leather seats, GPS and blind spot detection. Everything has been great so far. I've had no problems. Seats are very comfortable. GPS is very easy to work. Love the push to start wish every car had it. Of course wish it wasn't so expensive.

- Candace T

It would be better if the back hatch wasn't so troublesome!

Overall it is a great vehicle, great performance, great on gas, comfortable for long travels! I just don't like the long slanted windshield and the extra long wipers, it reminds of a bus windshield? I don't like the back hatch either , it's difficult to close and hurts my back!

- Rhonda R

Great vehicle for the price.

Reliable, comfortable, has features that are important to me in a vehicle such as sunroof, remote start, heated seats, satellite radio, keyless entry. The back is roomy and seats fold down creating a lot of cargo space. To date have not had any performance or mechanical issues.

- Betsy I

Very reliable car on the road.

My vehicle has no problems. It drives very well and smooth on the road. It comes with a USB charging port for my phone. As well it has automated seat control for going up and down. It has a gas engine which is surprisingly very quiet when you crank up the motor in the ignition.

- Drew T

I love my ford escape that is very reliable.

I love the way it drives. It is smaller but big enough to put a lot of stuff in it and I love the panoramic sunroof. It handles really well in the snow. It has all your controls on the steering wheel which makes for less distractions. I would definitely buy another ford escape.

- Kim R

One of the Best Looking Cars

I really like the car since it is comfortable, It is sleek and also has a great design. Very modern too. I think it can connect to a hotspot, but I'm not sure. I think that it is worth the money and time, and would last you a long time. Overall, I think this is an amazing car.

- Alfonso H

Ford Girl through and through.

I haven't had any problems yet. The vehicle is still fairly new so it's still too soon to gauge. Plus I still have under 30k miles on a brand new car I purchased back in 2017. This is actually my 2nd Ford Escape just a newer model. I'm sure my next vehicle will be another Ford

- Sonya J

Safe and economic ford escape titanium.

I like the car's handling, parking, and accessibility. I like the safety features, such as the backup camera and blind spot monitoring. The climate control system and mileage are good. The cargo capacity is plenty for my needs. I find that the ride is rough and uncomfortable.

- Laura M

Great car, fun to drive and saves on gas!

Back seat can use a bit more space but I have had 4 grown adults in it that have sat comfortably. There have been no issues with the performance of the car and I love the overall size of it. Its sporty enough, and high enough that I can see over other cars! Great gas mileage.

- Jessica S

Love this vehicle- you will too!

This vehicle is easy to drive and park. It reminds you when you are low on gas, need windshield washer fluid or air in your tires. Seats 4 comfortably or 5 if there are children. Plenty of room for groceries or even a wheelchair in the back. I am very happy with this vehicle.

No loaner vehicle from service department.

Have had a knocking since I bought the vehicle new. They will not give me a loaner therefore I will be without a vehicle for as long as they decide to keep my vehicle. All of Ford dealerships are the same. This is the main reason I will not purchase another vehicle from ford.

Base model highlights for 2017 Escape.

Roomy, great in the snow and reliable. Great pick up and gas mileage. Car I have is a base model but comfortable and still has power seat, hands free connections. Car also has a USB port and 3 plug ins for charging or for other devices. Car also has a standard backup camera.

Very roomy and not too big.

I really like my car gets great gas mileage very comfortable lots of room did have a few problems with the wipers had to change the motor also paint with chipping off but they fixed it and everything is great now. I also travel a lot and I can sleep in the back if I need to.

The car turns off when you stop completely to save gas.

There's no issues with my car. The comfort level is very high, you aren't too high off the ground and you aren't to low. The only feature that could use some more time on is the screen display. It just looks cheap and simple but it works well. I love my car and you will too.

my vehicles is a dark blood red with nice dark gray interior

I have no problems with it so far, it is my first car and though it is similar to my mothers car, I love it. It's comfortable, it has a lot of room, it has Bluetooth so I can listen to music in my car. I just adore it. So far it is my best favorite first car to own on my own

Love the camera on dashboard when backing up

I have a lease car but live my escape the way it handles the roads and love how comfortable it is, it's very reliable and feel very safe when I am driving it. The features are unlimited but especially like the fact that I can open and shut my hatch with the push of a button

Family friendly vehicle with safety.

I love this vehicle! The only thing I would change is for it to be slightly bigger. I do not like huge SUVs but if this one would be slightly bigger it would be perfect. I love the ability to connect to my phone via sync and I love that it is such a family friendly vehicle.

Ford escape details and review.

Drives well. Handling is smooth. Acceleration is slow but not jerky. Decent room. Can accommodate 2 large car seats. Wish it had better gas mileage considering it is a 4 cylinder vehicle. Cargo room is nice and sufficient. S model does not have rear air which would be nice.
