Ford expedition! Hands down the best large size SUV.

The ford expedition is an amazing vehicle. I have the extended version. The room is hands down the best. It has a third row with the same space as the other seats. Even with the third row the amount of space in the back for everything under the sun is a major plus. It rarely breaks down. I have not had many issues with it. Just the regular wear and tear issues like tune ups, tail light bulbs, etc... The only major issue has been a leak coming from the sunroof. My mechanic cleaned out the whole thing and placed a new seal on it and it has been great ever since and no more leaks. The car drives very well even hitting upwards of 80 miles per hour. I call it my tank! It is an amazing vehicle and especially wonderful practical and convenient when you have a large family. I love it and will want to purchase a new model eventually.

We love our 2008 Ford Expedition EL

It has been a great family car! It has typical car issues that happen with any vehicle when it gets over $100K miles. We've replaced what needed to be, but it has all be reasonable. Ours has almost $175K and we just replaced the radiator and hoses. A few things that I wish were more up to date or were more functional...the built in navigation is not current. We purchased a current CD for it, and it never wants to recognize it. So it's essentially a function on the car we do not use at all. I also wish you could load DVD's from the front. It seems that would be a safer option that a driving parent trying to eject/load a DVD while driving down the road. Auto start and heated seats are another feature I miss. My favorite feature on the car is the keypad entry on the driver side. We use that daily!

Built Ford tough? More like built Ford comfy.

My 2008 Ford expedition is not just a car for reliability but also of comfort. I cannot tell you how many nights me and my friends would travel and just drive around in the comfort of my vehicle. In fact, a good friend of mine recently commented on how much he loves my car mainly for the comfort and memories made in it. I never had many problems with my expedition until it reached around probably 150, 000 miles. That is a winner in my book. My car is safe, reliable, and comfortable. Gas is really not that bad either which I know may come as a shock. It is a vehicle I'd recommend to anyone and a vehicle I will use and enjoy for years to come.
