The car provides a smooth ride. Furthermore, when it was purchased, it was fitted with many bells and whistles. It is a safe vehicle that I feel comfortable driving my family in. It sits high, and has a lot of space for people and belongings.
I love my ford truck, specially that it seats 8 people with seat belts. All Ford trucks and cars are reliable and the body is great looking. I have not had any engine problems, the regular maintenance in the truck has it running just fine. The truck is easy to drive.
Pros include the following: very safe, stable and reliable, especially on highways with other large vehicles No mechanical issues even at 100k miles. Great cargo space, enough for 5 kids and all their gear. Rides great on long road trips.
It has a smooth ride when driving. It has more space than I need. It gets decent fuel mileage. The seats are better than most cars. One thing that I really enjoy is the luggage rack on the top. It also has reverse backup sensors and ford sync.
Pros are the size and features. I love the awc/heated seats, the running boards that are automatic and the spacious back. Tons of trunk room if you want or extra seating. This vehicle is great in all weather.
It is a great size and drives very smooth. I like the height it sits off the road and it is very spacious for family trips. Our vehicle has DVD players, satellite radio, and other features that make it an ideal family car. It handles well and has all the features of a luxury vehicle for an affordable price.
The vehicle gets poor gas mileage which is a negative for city driving. The sounds system, screen, and overall media player that the car is equipped with is outdated. The size of the vehicle, while nice at times, becomes tough in city driving and parking, especially with minimal turning radius. Wish it had blind spot detectors.
The only cons would be that the truck has a big engine, therefore the fuel is use is high. With the prices constantly rising with gas, you can easily spend over $100.00 On fuel a week. Also, since the truck is big, it makes it difficult to find parking.
Number one con is gas mileage. It gets terrible gas mileage but maybe that is expected given the size of the vehicle. Also turning radius is pretty bad. I often have to make a several-point turn to get out of parking spots. Lastly, the bright metallic trim on the interior, around the vents and at the shifter knob, can be blinding on sunny days.
The first things is the paint has chipped very easy on this vehicle. The cost of repairs for maintenance. Shocks and struts are very costly. Also the tires are expensive as well. The biggest con is no heated seats or sunroof.
I cannot really think of any cons other than the 4w drive can be rather clunky at times. I think this is a common ford problem but is easily fixed. Even with 100k miles the car runs like it is brand new.
The biggest con is the cost it takes to fill the car up. The gas tank is ridiculously large and the vehicle gets very poor gas mileage. Also, while I like the large feel of the vehicle, it makes it hard to navigate small areas and parking spots. My personal vehicle has several issues that are unique to it and are likely due to the age of the car.
