Love my explorer, very reliable.

2009 Ford Explorer XLT

I love my explorer. It runs great and is very reliable. The 4 wheel drive has always worked when I need it the most and I have always been able to get unstuck. The inside is pretty comfortable. I think it could always be better but nothing to complain about. I do have the 3rd row seating which has been a lifesaver at times. We did try to sleep in the back once while camping and that was a bad idea. It was very hard and uncomfortable even with several blankets. I like the fact that there are several storage pockets throughout the explorer. When it is time for a new vehicle I would consider the explorer again.

Tough and reliable SUV with room for the whole family.

2009 Ford Explorer XLT

This truck is reliable in all weather. The XLT provides ample space for 7 people or 5 people and their luggage. It handles well and is easy to park and maneuver. It sits high, so you have the ability to see clearly and you do not have to worry about flooding the engine if you drive through water/ deep puddles. If you want a smooth ride, though, this is not the truck for you. It is pretty bumpy. My only complaint is the headrests. They feel like they are pushing my head forward and there is no way to adjust them.

Tough, rugged and ready to go

2009 Ford Explorer XLT

I bought it used 2 years ago and it just keeps going , very rugged and durable. As s home care nurse in a rural, mountainous area , I needed a vehicle that would hold up under the worst conditions and the Explorer has proven to be up to the challenge every time. I've never gotten stuck or had to call for a tow. There's also plenty of power under the hood for when I'm on the highway ... I would definitely buy another one when this needs replacing.

09 ford explorer; comfortable in theory but your wallet will hurt.

2009 Ford Explorer XLT

It tends to run hot, car always smells hot after driving, even if its short distances. The car seats plenty of people, has the optional third row seating. The seats do not come up easy though. Does not have enough air vents, so cooling the car down in the summer months is quite impossible. Have had to replace almost all of the wheel bearings. 4 wheel drive is not the best, works occasionally.

Comfortable roomy ford explorer.

2009 Ford Explorer XLT

It is comfortable and nice interior. You can have 4 seats or 5-6 seats. 5 & 6 seats fold down to have extra storage. Built in DVD player and capability of hooking up other gaming consoles. Automatic floor boards. Leather heated seats up front. Keyless entry with code numbers.

I got 12 bales of hay in my truck; Didn't think my truck was that big!

2009 Ford Explorer XLT

My Ford Explorer has always been reliable and a workhorse, just regular maintenance. It's great on gas in the city. I love being in a truck, higher up, I feel safer while I'm driving. My Explorer is the best truck I've ever owned, probably will stay with a Ford.

Comfortable, convenient, easy to maneuver

2009 Ford Explorer XLT

This vehicle had been dependable and rugged. With 3 kids, we needed something that had space and yet was comfortable and easy to maneuver. The Ford Explorer fits easily anywhere we need to go and yet has room to keep everyone comfortable on long trips.

Third row seating is its best quality

2009 Ford Explorer XLT

I have no problems other than it is a gas hog! I love my Ford Explorer! It is very dependable and fits everyone in my family easily! With the third row seating it still allows enough trunk space and has a hitch for pulling my trailer as needed! I love it

Three row or 7 seats in vehicles.

2009 Ford Explorer XLT

The top leaks but I love, the 3 rows and room mt car has. It can fit all my kids in it. I also love the color of mine. Maybe the way the compartment is set up could be just a bit better though. But other than that I really do, enjoy, driving my vehicle.

It is the most versatile vehicle and our family. It is four-wheel-drive.
