200,000 miles and still going

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

Good all around truck. With regular servicing it will be a reliable vehicle. I currently have 207,000 mile and have only had to do regular servicing. This includes oil changes every 4000 miles, spark plugs and coil packs every 80,000 to 100,000 miles. Over all I have been happy with the truck. Over time and mileage performance can go down. I have noticed that acceleration isn't what it use to be. The ride quality has started to go down. I do acknowledge that mileage could have an effect on that. The truck is mainly used to commute to school and work. I average around 20,000 miles a year and have been happy with the truck.

Buy this truck if taken cared of

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

The vehicle has two problems. One is the spark plugs sticking if not changed at 60,000 miles. The other is the timing chain costs double that of a normal timing job due to camshaft phasers. It performs great. I have loaded and pulled and did great. It's hasn't left me stranded. The interior is nice and I have gotten compliments on it even though it's ten plus years old. It has a radio/CD combo, manual a/c and aux, manual seats. The 2008 F-150 has Ford's connect which is a plus. There aren't any additional features. If you maintain it properly, it will last a long time. My current mileage is 200,000 plus.

Great A to B vehicle for winter states.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

The only problems I have experienced are that I had an ignition coil blow, the torque converter seems like it doesn't disengage every once in a great while and when I hit the gas it doesn't go but it only takes a second or two to engage, and a window regulator needed to be replaced. The interior is very nice and comfortable. Good sound system. It goes great in the snow. Plenty of room in the bed. It has some rust, but not a lot for being 12 years old in Pennsylvania. Gets decent gas mileage for a V8.

My Ford F150 is 4 wheel drive which I need to drive in my rural area.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

My Ford F150 pickup is 4 wheel drive, which is good since I live in a rural area and sometimes have to drive in mud. Or deep sand. I am nearly 85, and It is comfortable and easy for me to get into. It is easy to drive. Even though it is 12 years old, it still looks nice and has not given me any problems. When my husband was driving it, sometimes he would put it in 4 wheel drive when he was trying to turn on the air conditioner. He does not see so well.

Great looking and running truck

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

I'm the original owner and just replaced the spark plugs at 98k miles. I also just replaced all the brakes at 96k. I love my truck! It's comfortable, lots of room, handles very well and for a 4x4 it get decent fuel mileage. It sits 4 large adults very comfortably, more if you add kids. I have the short bed but have not come across an issue of not enough room. I'm very happy with my truck

Great truck awesome warranty.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

To start I bought this truck used. It has been a great truck I did have to have some work done though I had a rod blow in the engine and it screwed it up I had got to the extended warranty on it thought and I ended up getting the motor and (at the same time )my Cadillac converters replaced for a total of $107 (I was quoted 9,000) ish for the work to be done by them without the warranty.

Great 4 wheel drive truck.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

The truck has been a very reliable means of transportation. It has had no major problems. The only complaint I have had is it is horrible on gas. It takes around $85 a week on gas to fill it up and that's only driving it to and from work. I have to put more gas in the truck If I travel anywhere else during the week. I love the 4 wheel drive feature. It has been a big help.

2007 tough ford and has 280 thousand miles

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

I love my f150 but after 280,000 miles it still runs good. It very comfortable on long trips. Fair on gas mileage. It has a full box frame under it. All stock. No modifications on it. Gets great tire mileage. Holds 7 quarts of oil. It's got a 4.7 liter engine. The motor has been a tough one. Mine has 280 thousand miles on the same engine.

- April A

It's a truck and 4 wheel drive so you can pretty much do anything with it.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

Love my Truck. It is hard on gas because its a truck. Very roomy. Its rugged yet comfortable. Can move almost anything with it. Can def. Drive in bad weather conditions.it's a lot easier to anyway. Upkeep on it is rather expensive at times, depending on what's wrong.Overall a great vehicle to have all the way around.

Great truck. Reliable, good looking, tough, and fun.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

I love my truck. Reliable, good looking, and functions. From hauling kids to horses it's been a great truck. Fuel economy is kind of a killer. Only thing I would change is I would prefer a supercrew. My supercab is tight for a baby seat. I have a friend with the same truck but a full sized backseat and it's perfect

- Caitlin J

Love my little truck it is awesome all around.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

I love my little truck. It gets great gas mileage all around. I also am bigger than a regular dude car. I can also haul my horse trailer with this truck! Which is awesome and does not seem to be pulling anything when I have it hooked up. Only bad this is the carpet interior. I am getting the floor boards wrapped.

- Katherine C

Ford it is an awesome truck

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

None because my vehicle is in a class of its own when it comes to its performance, service, resistance, mileage, and longevity. I absolutely find my truck to be of the highest quality on the market. I have driven other brand trucks in the past, but none has been able to perform the way this one does.

Most Reliable Ford Pickup

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

This Ford F-150 was bought brand new and has worked reliably for the last 12 years. My favorite things are the sound system and the convenience of having a truck to haul logs and other bulky items around. I never plan on selling this truck and hope to keep it running for as long as I can manage

- Jacob S

Major engine issues are common with Ford pickups

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

I have been having an issue with the cylinders misfiring. Mechanics have said it is a common problem but it is difficult to diagnose the exact problem causing a misfire. The vehicle also tends to make the firing coils come of and major repair work is needed. Would not get another Ford truck.

- Dion L

Cab interior not made well to hold anything anywhere.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

The interior cab everything is round up front. And there are spaces everywhere so in a very slight turn whatever you have near you slides into a hole that becomes a black hole. That is the biggest complaint I have about this vehicle. Unless you have everything secure it will go flying.

- Bobbie J

2007 F-150 is great truck with minimal issues.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

This truck is great! So far I have 256k miles on it and have minimal issues with it. Last year I replaced cam phasers and put a higher output oil pump on it which is a very common issue with the modular 5.4L engines. Since then the truck has been running like a champ.

- Nick B

An interesting details of my current vehicle within 4 years it gained 100,00 mile

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

The windshield easily cracks from rock and flying debris. Brake pads seem to be needing replaced very quickly possibly every year depending on location, traffic, terrain, and driver. For the year it is an amazing truck. No issues with anything of the motor or body.

- Nicole M

Love Fords reliability and looks

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

Love it, very reliable comfortable. Only problems I have is some rust in cab corners and the middle console is coming apart it also makes a popping noise when turning but it also has 160000 miles so you can expect that. Other than that I just like fords style

- Timothy V

Good power and dependable

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

Best truck I've ever had good power roomy decent gas mileage very dependable just keep the oil and plugs changed and take care of it and it'll be good to you I have the 5.4 engine I'm very satisfied with it had it for years and no serious problems yet lucky

- Draper R

F-150 is a great truck. Has ran great for years.

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

Have had it about 11 times in that time I have replaced brakes twice. I have replaced battery twice and alternator once. Other than that it has been a great vehicle and I am considering buying a newer model. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone I know.

- Josh S

My vehicle hardly gives me problems

2007 Ford F-150 XLT

My 2007 F-150 is a very reliable vehicle. I had it for 12 years and the only problem I had was a small hole in the radiator. It still drives like new and gives me no trouble. The vehicle is also good on gas. My family enjoys that truck more than I do
