White 2016 f-150 this pickup is great for running around town or a road trip.
My f-150 is a crew cab short bed. The additional space in the back seat makes up for the short bed. The seats are very comfortable and the heating option is very nice in the winter. I had to have the sync updated to work with my iPhone, because it could not communicate with my phone otherwise. The backup camera is very convenient. The small ecoboost engine has good power even with the 6 inch lift, and 35 inch tires.

Perfect vehicle. No issues since purchase. Drove for 27 hours straight without any issues. Highly recommend

Back seat legroom and rear sliding window.
I don't really have any problems with performance, or features. The only thing I might change is having more legroom in the back seat. I would also change the rear window the way it slides open. The rest of the truck is great and I will probably buy another one in a year or two.

Ford F 150 Extended Cab Rave
Comfortable seating for 4-6 people. Extended cab and 4 doors makes it easy for people to get in and out without interfering with other passengers. Numerous USB and outlets lets you charge phones, tablets, etc. I have a lever that extends the brake pedal which helps with short legged people. Signal indicators on the mirrors, front and back. Heated mirrors allow them to defrost faster. No built in GPS

New truck driver coming through! Take time learning how to park if you've never driven a truck before.
I enjoy having a truck, as it is a new purchase. It has Ecoboost which is an adjustment to get use to. No complaints expect filling up the gas tank!

Best vehicles I ever owned x 2
5 Star! My 2nd F 150. The first was traded on the 2nd at 268,000 miles of trouble free service. It was used as a truck for some light-moderate off road and as a family go getter. One service issue was an alternator replacement at 178,000 miles. It failed a 1/2 mile from the Ford dealer. 2016 is much nicer and does the same job as the last one. Now at 62,000 miles w no issues at all-not even little ones. No wonder this is the best seller! I have owned some competing brands, so I have a basis of comparison as well as friends who drive competitor's trucks. I will definitely buy another after this one.

It gets really good miles per gallon for a truck while not sacrificing power.
The truck has great acceleration and averages around 20 mpg. It is also quiet and the 4 wheel drive allows me to get around better in winter and makes me feel safer because i am not as worried about getting stuck.

Lots and lots of room in a 2016 f150 XLT.
I love the room it has in the back seat. The backup camera is nice. Do not care much for the navigation as sometimes it does not recognize an area. All in all I love my truck. I would buy it again. Very reliable I bought new and have no mechanical issues.

Engine problems
Engine problems - My truck is three years old, has 105,000 miles on it and the engine blew up. Drive it to a Ford dealership because it was blowing out smoke, and they told me a new engine was needed. The new motor cost $9000 at the Ford dealership. Ford nor the dealership will work with me on any of the cost. I will never buy another Ford product, this was my first one and last one.

Constant problems
Constant issues with this truck. Back door doesn’t shut all the way. Heated and cooled seats don’t work. Moonroof jagged when moving. Throddle sensor went stalling On the roads constantly. DANGEROUS SITUATION. Engine or ignition coil gone truck would skip when you floored it getting on an accelerator lane. Now truck blows white smoke and smells like burn and oil mix. Something is going on and for 6 months can’t figure it out. Although now have 250 miles on it. But a lot of stuff went on under 100 miles. Been to Maine to Florida to South Dakota and followed the AT. CANT COMPLAIN TOO MUCH. BEEN A GOOD TRUCK FOR MOST PART WHEN IT WORKS

Its roomy in back seats and has great tinting on back windows.
Like the room in it, the quick heat, and bed size dislike radio how poorly it stays in great operations and the bad gas mileage.

Truck speed expectations once truck is fully loaded.
This truck is not as powerful as expected, I was expect to pull more weights, pull my trailer fully loaded and the bed of the truck fully loaded, the truck slow down in speed once both truck bed and trailer is fully loaded, I was expecting to drive at a acceptable speed one truck bed and trailer is fully loaded.

Water damaged headliner.
Noticed headliner stained along rear window. Apparently brake light on top of the cab is leaking. Told by dealer that even with the extended warranty that the leak on my $50,000.00 pick up would not cover the leak. Last time anyone touched that light was at the assembly plant. Very disappointed in Ford, because I’ve had this problem on prior year models. You would think Ford Engineering would have solved this problem by now.

Comfortable big truck even for small women with Bluetooth phone connection.
I do love my truck. It run well and I haven't had any huge issues wrong with it. The seats are comfortable, big and adjustable. I am a small girl so the seat and the wheel adjustment is a must for me. It has satellite radio, a CD player and am/FM. You can also add your phone to the car and make calls or listen to your music through Bluetooth. I love that as soon as I enter the car my phone automatically connects to it.

Ford f-150 you're headed for fun!
The Ford f-150 is great year round. The spring and summer months it has the sturdiness to pull a boat in the summer to the lake. The winter months you have 4 wheel drive dependability to get you through the Colorado mountains or just simply a snow storm headed to work! We really enjoy the tinted windows and the oversized seats makes long trips or sitting a lot more enjoyable. So go take a test drive today see for yourself! Remember buckle up and do not text and drive, by the way it has all the hookups for all your electronic devices like Bluetooth. Hands free driving.

What Problems Does the 2016 Ford F-150 Have?

The 2016 Ford F-150 has fewer problems than the 2015 model year, and more than the improved 2017 model. It has an average number of issues compared to other full size trucks.

Engine problems, including the engine stalling while driving, are the most common complaints owners have. The most frequent issue is a failing throttle body, and a $120 replacement will fix it.

Brake problems, including brake failures are also brought up by owners. Replacing the master cylinder solves the problem, but it’s about $900 to change out.

Radio problems are also frequently mentioned by owners. There are reports of defective head units which require replacements, and software updates which can fix the problems in some cases.

There are 12 recalls affecting the 2016 Ford F-150, worse than average for a truck its age. Recalls include seatbelts, seat frames, the door latch, block heater cable, brake master cylinder, and upper ball joint. Most serious are the brake master cylinder problems since it reduces the brake force, and can cause an accident.

How Does the 2016 Ford F-150 Compare to Other Trucks?

The 2016 Ford F-150 ranks 6th out of 14 full size trucks based on owner reviews, including half ton, three quarter ton, and one ton models.

In first place is the GMC Sierra 2500HD, which is a larger and more expensive truck than the F-150. Infotainment technology, and reliability are better on the Ford. The GMC has more power, a nicer interior, and can tow more weight. If you know you’re going to tow frequently, the GMC is the way to go, but if you want a daily driver, the F-150 is better.

A close competitor is the Chevy Silverado 1500, which is similar in size and price to the F-150. The Chevy has a better interior, but is the only place it beats the Ford. Between the two trucks, the F-150 is a better option with a higher towing capacity, more up-to-date technology, greater reliability, and more engine options.

Bad service, no loaner, 45 days to fix (had to get Corporate involved)
Took my truck to the Ford dealer for a repair (covered by the Ford warranty I purchased). After 3 weeks, I started asking for an ETA. A week later, it was a new different issue. 40ish days later, I decided to look for myself and found it everywhere. Showed the dealer, they called other dealers but didn't want to pay the extra $40 the dealer would charge this on, so I tweeted. Ford corp contacted me, then said they'd cover payments for the time it was in the shop. Then they settled on less for no defined reason. They returned it once with grease on the console (seperate repair), and 2nd time w/45 days of parking-lot grime. Never again.

Good solid vehicle with few problems.
Only problems I have had with vehicle are with the infotainment system and sunroof. Sometimes my phone will not connect thru the bluetooth during start up. Also, not all features are available thru the settings. The sunroof has gotten stuck before when trying to open and close. When this happens it falls off its tracks.

Have had no problems over 45000 miles now, has great performance and ok gas mileage. Very comfortable ride. Interior is well laid out and comfortable, 4 wheel drive is very off-road capable. Ford f-150 lariat: comfortable & reliable.
Comfort level is definitely a 10. The back seat is roomy enough for a center-placed rear-facing car seat, and two adults. The climate control is enough to make sure all passengers in all seats are comfortable. The rear defrost sometimes does not work as quickly as one would like. The truck is very reliable. Not many repairs are needed above & beyond basic maintenance.

Best interior of any truck I have ever had.
I love the interior of the truck! I love all the options including the tow package. The truck is excellent on towing and gas mileage. The pricing was very reasonable. The only complaint I would have is the mirrors though powered, are not the ones that fold in unless you manually pull them in.

Aluminum body - almost rust proof.
I really like the newer f150s; no major problems except for a cylinder temperature sensor went bad and it took the dealer over a week to replace it. It is a mostly aluminum body so you do not really have to worry about rust at all which helps in areas where they use road salt.

First time ford truck owner and I love this truck!
I absolutely love this model truck! It is very roomy. Large size motor so it accelerates fast. High off the ground. Even with it being a larger size truck, it is still easy to maneuver. Large size truck bed. It is definitely like riding in luxury. However, with it being a diesel, of course that adds extra expenses such as more expensive oil change, filters, etc. Other than that I have not had any problems with this truck. I actually used to own a lot of Chevrolet vehicles but have purchased this particular vehicle due to a great price on this truck. And I actually have fallen in love with this particular truck and the ford brand.
accountCircle Bill F on June 3, 2021
Comfortable and great ride.
This vehicle rides very nicely. They switched to an aluminum body to reduce body weight, but added weight to the frame. So it has a lower center of gravity. Then in collisions (theoretically), the frame would take the brunt of the impact, making it a safer vehicle. Due to the lower center of gravity, it actually rides more like an SUV. It also has a ton of leg room in the back seat.

Love the seat and pedal adjustments and the blind spot light up on mirrors.
I have owned my truck for 2 months now love the driver seat adjustments and gas and brake adjustments good for short people like me. I am able to pull trailers with four wheelers with ease. Very smooth ride on highway and gravel. On gravel though need to drive slow when hitting potholes or it can casually cause to lose control very easy compared to a sedan or a van. The radio sound system is very nice. It has a very nice feature on the side mirrors a little light that light up to let you know that someone is in your blind spot. It has a back window that opens for fresh air.

2016 3.5l ecoboost performance summary.
3.5l ecoboost is strong enough to pull our 36' travel trailer quite well. It automatically downshifts going down hills which is scary at first but it is doing it is job. Rides well and has not had any problems. Fuel economy is pretty good for a truck too.

It is grey with dark tint on windows and lights.
I had a lot of problems at first. The biggest one when they had to rebuild my entire engine. Also small things, like my window will go up and back down when I try and do it automatically. I had issues with the horn randomly going off and not stopping and a water leak through the side of the windshield that ultimately flooded my entire truck.

That it is a crew cab and has a cover on the trunk.
It is a nice car for off roading and driving in general. I would recommend this truck to people that need a trunk that can hold a heavy payload and can hold bikes and dirt bikes. If you have a dimly it is the perfects size car because for a road trip everyone has space to be comfortable and do their thing. This car is cheaper than many other cars out there and I would pay more than it costs to buy the truck.

Ford is still the best truck.
It is a well made truck. It can run tough in many situations. My favorite part of the truck is the changes in interior design. I had an older model before but the 2016 really stepped it up. The engine is strong and the performance is always consistent even in the worst of weather from heat to snow.

F-150 reliable but will get broken into.
It is a reliable and comfortable vehicle, handles well and the back up camera is useful. This model is a bit large and bulky to travel around downtown/more urban areas and can be hard to park. No problems with the mechanics which is a relief and it is easy to get an oil change as this model is quite common.

Great all around truck, has baseline features, nothing fancy. One main problem that occurs involves the radio unit, every so often it does not turn on with the vehicle, it does come back on later after turning truck off and then back on. Have read that it's an issue in all the trucks of this year/model. Enjoy owning ford trucks, very roomy, comfortable and dependable.

Make it unique! The night lighting is an interesting extra detail.
The ford f-150 has lots of legroom in the back seat. I am 5 foot 2 and love the seat adjustments as well, super comfortable drive. Lots of storage area. The voice command for calling is a life saver I talk to my sister every morning on speaker through truck and truly count on the ease of calling by touching button on steering wheel and using voice command. I can say I keep back seats up most of the time, makes hauling taller items a breeze.

The radio is not great since sometimes connecting to my phone is difficult.
I do not like that the vehicle only has 2 doors, it makes it difficult when grocery shopping and I have to load groceries into my vehicle. I also am a little concerned when driving in the rain since the traction is not the best. The seating is very comfortable and spacious. I do not like the back row seat comfort level because I feel the seats are too straight against one's back, my son always says his back hurts after sitting for more than 30 min on these seats.

My ford has not had any mechanical issues and is very reliable. The reverse camera is a high quality camera, which makes reversing simple in tight quarters. The remote start feature works from a long distance, which is very beneficial in inclement weather. The leather seats are comfortable and the climate control seats make every ride enjoyable.

The motor seems underpowered when towing and during passing other vehicles. The front end gets out of alignment from small bumps and potholes and needs to be realigned often. Great driving comfort for a truck.
Love: comfortable, great room, has rear camera to guide parking. Dislike there is no sensors in the front of the truck.

That it is a very safe vehicle on the road.
I really like how the truck handles. It pulls our trailer with no problems. It has a lot of room in the rear seats for people and for carrying items. Only thing I wish it had was a camera for front parking, like it does in the back.

2016 f150 XLT-full owners review.
I love my truck. My family has owned full size trucks from every brand. My ford is by far the most comfortable and spacious truck I have ever owned or driven. I love it is power it has a lot of low end torque and has plenty of get up to make a pass on the highway. The fuel economy is a bit lousy, I average about 15 mpg. I do have 33” tires on my truck which does not help with that. I have no problems with the truck and have never regretted buying it.

That its solid on the road, the gas mileage is great and it is very safe.
No complaints, they added everything I wanted. Tinted windows, new tires and better rims, a bedcover. Heated seats, a backup camera, and adjustable pedals are my favorites.

My vehicle runs nice and is very spacious.
My vehicle is smooth-riding and spacious. It is very reliable and runs well. The seats a large, so everyone is not squished next to each other. My vehicle is white and very nice looking. It does not eat up gas and is not too costly. I would highly recommend this vehicle to my friends.

Ford f150 with adjustable foot pedals for shorter people.
I absolutely loved my ford f150. Love the hands free phone and radio controls, GPS, heated/cooling seats. I love that it came with adjustable pedals as I am very short I don't have to have the seat all the way up to the steering wheel and feeling more comfortable driving now.

Love my truck and always will.
I have loved those truck from the I bought it. It is very readable and you know your driving a real truck when your in it. I love the cherry apple red and it has a great sound system. I would refer a ford 150 to anyone young or old. This is my second ford pickup.

I love my truck because its tall, comfortable and has good miles.
Great performance, I usually turn off eco boost. Great comfortable cloth seats, roomy for my tall family. Matte gray color is appealing and the long bed size is perfect for my needs. I do not like the ecoboost very much because I feel the start and stop is more wasteful of gas.

I enjoy the ruggedness and roominess.
My f-150 is actually very reliable. I've had my vehicle for 2 years now and surprisingly, no problems. Of course, you have your normal upkeep with any vehicle. But I can actually say, this is a great, reliable vehicle. Especially if you fish, hunt, play sports, spend a lot of time in wooded areas. I live in what some people may call the country, so a truck is perfect for my location and daily activities.

Big bang for your buck- f150 truck.
Great truck and value. Was looking at other models and am happy with my decision to buy a ford f-150. It is very reliable and easy to drive. Before I had luxury cars, and I feel like I sacrificed nothing in comfort or style. If anything, I just gained functionality and dependability.

Large and dependable truck
Never had an issue. Runs great very powerful. Room inside is amazing. There is tons of space not cramped in the backseat at all.

My f-150 is real slick it comes with GPS, moonroof. Heated and cooled seats.
My car is a re wheel drive so the only true problem I have comes during winter time in Chicago. But mostly the problem is when the roads are real icy. Besides that there is not really much of a problem I have with the truck rides real smooth good on gas also.

My 2016 ford f-150 XLT sport.
I absolutely love my 2016 ford f-150. It is extremely comfortable for those long rides, but sporty enough to remain looking cool on into your 80's. I have the towing and sport package and a state of the art back up camera. This truck definitely puts safety and comfort first.

Why I hate trucks. I do not like driving trucks.
Radio do not work. It's been crashed multiple times. I am not a truck person so I do not drive it. I do not drive particularly because I hate the idea of crashing. I hate trucks because I have smashed my hand in the window of one. I would much prefer to drive a car or jeep instead.

It is very dependable in bad weather and the heavy snow in Montana.
I like that it is a nice looking vehicle. I like the color and for a truck it rides really well. It is a 4 wheel drive.

Very reliable comfortable and safe.
Very comfortable reliable never had any issues with my truck. I love it. I have a child and the car seat fits great. It handles great in the winter months. The four wheel drive works great. I have all the options I want in it like Bluetooth heated seats etc.
