Smallest but fastest car made.
It does not start up quick at red lights and stop signs, but it drives well once it is going. It is very reliable and gets great gas mileage. It is very small which I love but some people hate; it really helps with parking on a college campus. It is a very comfortable car.
accountCircle Virginia S
This car is great if you want compact with good gas.
Great gas mileage. Small but not tiny. This car runs great and I've only had to change my oil every 10,000 miles.
accountCircle Madison G
Best small car money can buy.
This vehicle is extremely small! It gets great gas mileage though, and only requires an oil change every 7, 000-9, 000 miles! It is pretty comfortable if you are not an overly large person. I have never had a problem out of it or had a light come on the dash. The only thing really lacking is the brightness of the headlights.

2017 ford fiesta, a reliable family car? I would say yes.
It's a super reliable car. I've had it for 3 years now and it has never broken down on me. I did have a faulty fuel valve that triggered my check engine light after my second years with the car but it was an easy fix and I haven't had a problem since. It's very good on gas, only $20 fills the tank, and I don't have to get expensive oil changes too often. Other than that, for a single person the car is perfect. But for a family, it's a little small.

Ford fiesta is a great car. I love my car it gets me from point a to point b.
The ford fiesta is a great car. It is small enough to whip into parking spaces and great for backing up in tight areas. Gas mileage is amazing. The trunk is surprisingly really big for this small car. The model of the car is just stunning. I see so many others with the same car as me.
accountCircle Anna M
My vehicle is number one in my book.
I like the performance of my vehicle. I almost didn't purchase it because of the color but after taking it for I short drive it performed well and now that I have driven it for a while I find that it is low maintenance and I enjoy driving in it. I've had the car since October and it still has that new car smell, so I am told and it still drives like it did the first day I bought it. I am very pleased with my final choice.

Gas mileage, battery life and headlights.
I have had my ford fiesta for about 1 1/2 years now. The battery life is outstanding, as is the titanium features. I get amazing gas mileage. I drive about 400 miles every two weeks and only fill up my car once! The headlights have given out on me, but the car is wonderful at reminding you with an excessive ticking blinker.

My little Fiesta. I have named her Silvie.
I am only having issues with the Sync Bluetooth connection system to listen to music through Bluetooth. It won't connect to my phone anymore. I have performed a master reset on Sync. I have tried numerous things to get it to work but nothing works. I can talk on the phone through it but it won't let me listen to Pandora.

Negative Owner Reviews

It is a good car for kids or a single person and has great gas mileage.
I just personally don't like it. I went from a truck to this so it is very small. I have two car seats that don't fit very well in the back seats.
accountCircle Wendy B
Low gas mileage for price.
My car is too small and lacks many features. The worst thing about it is the gas mileage is way lower than was advertised. I have a daughter who requires a car seat, there’s no room for that. The air is bipolar as is the seat adjustments. It is always too hot or too cold. I hate sitting on top of my passenger. This is an issue because the console is too small much like everything else in the car.

Dual dry friction clutch transmission
Be aware 2017 models can still have dual dry friction technology transmission that from back in 2014 in which is a nightmare of complaints and ford at this time knows of but no recall issued its not seen as a safety deal your wallet past a warranty dont matter,,,,

Bad Deal
Very noticeable Transmission issues at 53K. Also the tire warning light intermittently comes on, no matter how often I get my wheels checked

Ford fiesta, pros and cons.
Very small, do not like the color, design of the car and inside features poorly designed. The car does not have enough space for passengers, not good for traveling long hours it is uncomfortable I wish I had a bigger car that allow us more space and better features, need to be upgraded,

Problems with 2017 ford fiesta.
This car has given me too many problems such as the engine, pump system etc. Ford does not even make these models anymore. It is somewhat reliable but not too comfortable. If you have back problems, please do not buy. Bluetooth speaker sync has technical issues.
accountCircle Katherine D
Amazing trunk space! Great for loading up groceries!
It is a midsize car. It is silver. It has been very dependable considering that it is a ford. I have been having problems with the tires. I have to buy a used tire every couple of months. The trunk is the best feature. It is pretty big, so you can load a bunch of groceries in it and lower the back seats if need be. It has been a good car all around I’d say.

2017 ford fiesta love that ford.
My fiesta satisfies my sporting side with enough pickup on the freeway, and good handling on the curves, plus it is very economical. I avg 43 mpg the way I drive. While the back seat is a little small for long trips, it is fine for around town. I really like how small and easy to park and back up.
accountCircle Tatrina K on June 25, 2021
Honest thoughts on the ford fiesta.
I absolutely love my car. It is very smooth to drive on the road. My car is also easy for me to park. The Bluetooth is great. But it is a small car so if your taller than about 5’10 I would not recommend it because I do not think you would have an easy time getting in.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Andrea T.

It had good gas mileage. It takes off fast and is good on hills. It is comfortable to ride in for long trips. It is designed well to make the best use of it is compact space and feels roomy inside. It is good for long and short trips.

likeFilled Janet C.

It is a compact comfortable car. A gas saver and a smooth ride. I have not complain. It is easy maintenance. It looks really small from the outside but is actually roomy on the inside. Everything is in it except a GPS.

likeFilled Adam W.

Receives good gas mileage, lots of trunk space for size of the car. Compact but spacious on the inside. Has a nice inside led light that illuminates the cup holders and floor of the car for nighttime.

likeFilled Trisha R.

My vehicle is a standard, and it has hill assist which is so nice. The seat is easy to adjust forward/backward, as well as up and down vertically to adjust to your height. The steering wheel has all the buttons to control the stereo/calls. You can sync your phone up to it so you can still answer your phone hands free. Even though it is a standard, there is still cruise control which I really enjoy.

likeFilled Jessica P.

The pros of this car are it is fast it is fun and has quite a bit of get up and go. The clutch is a problem we have had 2 replacements based off of manufacturer default. For a first time car it is perfect for a young person with no kids that has far drives is good on gas.

likeFilled Alexandra K.

I love the color mint that it is! I love that it is compact and reliable and new. It has great gas mileage and has different feet lights with different colors which is really cool. I have a car seat system that matches the color and it just feels like me.

likeFilled Brian T.

Great gas mileage, very low price, very low insurance cost, nimble handling, roomy front seats, voice-activated system, hatchback has sporty styling, tight turning radius, beautiful color, a power sunroof option in a subcompact vehicle.

likeFilled Ariel W.

The pros of the ford fiesta are it drives great it has easy turn control as well as a good braking system. The costs for parts are usually low and it is extremely easy to maintain. It is also very cute.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Andrea T.

The Ford Sync has problems sometimes and it does not hear me for a few months at a time, but will randomly start working again. When I first start the car, whether it is cold outside or not, the first half mile of driving is sometimes a little rough, the speed is inconsistent, but after that it is fine. It has been this way since it was new. Also, I do not know if it is because it is a manual transmission, but I do not like to drive it faster than 80 on the interstate, the rpms get too high, around 33,000.

dislikeFilled Janet C.

The only thing that I wish this car had was a GPS. Other than that I really do not have anything negative or other cons to say about it. I have had the car for 2 year and the only problem is air needed in the tire.

dislikeFilled Adam W.

Not very big if you are taking a trip and hauling luggage and multiple people. I seem to have to have the tires replaced constantly. Not sure if it is something with how the vehicle is aligned but I have had alignments done frequently and no matter what tires I choose seem to wear frequently.

dislikeFilled Trisha R.

The cons of my vehicle are that with it being a standard, I do not need the traction control, and I have to manually turn it off every time I go driving in wet weather. The sync does not always connect to my phone when I want to use it for music from my phone.

dislikeFilled Jessica P.

The clutch has gone at twice due to manufacturer default. The a/c actuator has broke twice. They are finicky about what they cover under warranty even after stating the issue was covered under warranty.

dislikeFilled Alexandra K.

I have had a lot of battery issues when it is not ran. Ford is not the easiest to work with when it comes to repairs and warranty. It is a decent car for a decent price. I only have 13,000 miles on it and the warranty is already gone.

dislikeFilled Brian T.

Not a lot of room for larger folks. The car is narrow and the back seat is only usable for children. Due to it is diminutive size, larger vehicles become a distraction when driving too close to the rear bumper. The brakes are adequate, but could be a little stronger when pressed.

dislikeFilled Ariel W.

The cons of the ford fiesta are that the inside is a little small. The way the radio console is set up is also a little crowded. The buttons could have been arranged better in my opinion. The sun visors also don't come down far enough for me.

Is The 2017 Ford Fiesta A Good Value?

I paid $14,900. With financing it was just under $17,000. I was able to pay it off in 20 months versus 60 months, so I would say it was a great value.
Dorothy K.
I believe we paid 15,000 after sales cost. Through the finance company we were able to get really wonderful and low payments.
Mary W.
It is pretty expensive I'll need to refinance the car but it is worth the price if you have a little help from family.
Marissa K.
After the $500 rebate and the $500 veteran cash back I paid just over $13,000. I thought it was a good deal.
Frances G.
It cost around 8,000. Not bad at all, and not bad monthly payments. Able to afford it, and can make the payments.
Hayley A.
I bought it for 10,000. To me that was a great deal because I bought a very reliable car and only had to pay $200 a month on my car payment.
Alexis C.
The highest trim level with all of the options ends up being right around 26,000 dollars. But the base models are right around 10,000 less. With either option you choose they are a good value.
Jennifer L.
Yes the 2017 Ford Fiesta is of good value. We traded a more expensive vehicle in for the Ford Fiesta
