Roomy in the front and back seats and easy to drive!
Love my Flex! It is roomy and rides nice. It does have an electrical issue but nothing that takes away from my satisfaction.

SO. MUCH. SPACE. We needed something spacious and the flex gave us just that
Very spacious ! 3 rows of seats-seven seats total. The back row folds down completely flat which is very convenient for taking long trips. My phone hooks up to the Bluetooth stereo for hands free talking, it also has a USB port in the center console. All in all it is a wonderful car !

Ford flex car seat review.
The door does not stay latched on the drivers side and sometimes after driving when parked the vehicle shakes, otherwise I love the bucket seats in the vehicle it is amazing for car seats. The seats in the middle row also make it extremely easy to get through to the last row making it even easier for putting in car seats.
accountCircle Elizabeth C
It looks good in the road and the color is beautiful
I love the candy Red color. It has a third row seat and is the perfect size for my family of four. It rides well.

Why I love my ford flex (you will too!).
This is my second ford flex. I love it because it is spacious and flexible. I can take my family of four plus a week's worth of groceries and beach gear on vacation and still have plenty of room. Or fold the back seats up and fill it with coolers and camp chairs and tennis rackets and be the tennis team's team parent. I would buy this car again and again.

Great for sports moms and dads. Smooth fast and super reliable.
Driving my ford flex is like having a living room on wheels. I love this SUV. It is just perfect in every way. Most of all it's just a super smooth ride, so disappointed ford has discontinued it. If you have kids and they are in sports this is the perfect family wagon. You will not be disappointed.

Ford flex: my car is white with a black roof. It is the sel edition.
I have had this car since 2013. I have had to change the battery four times, luckily it is always been under warranty and I have never had to pay. But obviously there’s a defect in the batteries that Ford carries. The high performance tires on the car are absolutely horrible. I have to change tires yearly it seems. I have tried multiple brands but they are all the same. I cannot change the type of tire because this is the only one this car can have. It performs very well, I love the look of the car, inside is luxurious. I get comments about how nice it is inside. I also love the navigation, Bluetooth, voice command and the parking assist. One other issue I have had with the car is I love the tailgate.

Nice features, but costly repairs.
The 2013 ford flex limited has lots of nice features, including 3rd row seating, leather seats, heated seats, navigation, back up camera, blind spot sensors, & more. But my ford flex has had issues with the all wheel drive unit and torque converter, which we have replaced. We've also had to replace all four hubs. All of which are costly repairs.

The car only gets about 19 mpg, but has a big tank and is a very safe vehicle.
The Ford flex is an okay car. The front two seats are very comfortable and it makes for a pleasant drive. The back seats on the other hand feel like you are sitting on bricks. They're very stiff. Also the airbag in the back seats are a very unique and cool feature, but are a bit clunky.

Roomy family ride for fun weekends.
We've had no issues with this vehicle. It is roomy and comfortable with an attractive interior. We are a family of 7 all adults one car seat. Since the addition of the car seat 6 adults are not quite as confident but it works. Personally I hate the exterior of the vehicle. I just do not like the boxy look..

It's good for a small business owner with plenty of room.
I love the gas mileage. But it's noisy. You can feel every bump in the road. And the seats are not comfortable.
accountCircle Cory T
It's really fun to drive fast.
It's really fun to drive fast and weave through traffic in a really dangerous manner that makes everyone else who drives the car look like bad people.
accountCircle Liz Q
A very spacious car that is mostly comfortable to drive around in.
Comfortable front seats and uncomfortable back seats in the car. It has a really good sound system though and can handle blaring music super loud without busting the speakers. A very roomy and spacious car. Looks bigger on the inside than the outside too.

Love the look of the car.
This car is great just wish it had a little more room. Limited trunk space is when the 3rd row is up. Just had twins so my other two kids have to climb in the back to get to their seats. Wish it had captain chairs so easier access to the back seat. It has been a great car gets pretty good gas mileage. Just wish it had a little more room. We really do like this car just

Great car!! Beware tires wear out every 30k to 40k miles drove only in the city.
This car is great and spacious. The problem with this car is that the tires wear out fast. Like every 30 thousand miles we change them. It has to be aligned often as well and it also leaks oil. Even though these mentioned issues it is a great vehicle. I haven't found a car that has all the great features like heated seats and space.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Knawa P.

It goes fast and it is fun and it runs good. It has a well driven engine. It does not have that many miles on it. The maintenance is very up to par and it is very satisfying and it gets you where you need to go.

likeFilled Tynesha B.

It is great on gas and amazing to have if you have multiple kids. You are able to fit big car seats next to one another. You also have a nice size trunk space. I also love that the middle row seats fold up for easy access to back seats. I love that the back has vents.

likeFilled Telly M.

Spacious smooth ride very comfortable not too gas hungry very rare to see in streets ford sync with Microsoft very nice sounding sound system not a slow car picks up speed easy for a 6 cylinder car family car seats 8.

likeFilled William W.

Comfort and easy driving. Lots of room. If the seats are down, there is lots of space. Powerful enough to tow a boat and pull it out of the water. We have gotten up to 22 miles per gallon. The back up camera is great and provides a great view.

likeFilled Lori S.

Love the flexibility of the flex. I love the two rows of seats that can be laid down easily for carrying large items. Or 7 of us can travel together comfortably. Lots of new features such as a backup camera, USB ports, inverter and built in navigation.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Knawa P.

It runs out of gas very quickly and it can make a screeching noise whenever you try to get on the brakes. It needs a oil change every month or so. It has a leakage problem that really needs to be fixed.

dislikeFilled Tynesha B.

Constantly having problems with navigation system. Middle seats constantly have problems with folding to second position. Middle row driver side seats do not fold completely up not enough leg space in rear seats..

dislikeFilled Telly M.

Transmission if not properly taken care of. Back up cam can malfunction. Door latches can make malfunction bumper is easy to break when hit horn can stop working sync system must be updated at the dealer.

dislikeFilled William W.

There has been an electrical problem. Sometimes it will not start and the key has to be turned repeatedly. The back hatch does not go up all the time. It will start up, then stop and start back down. We had it to two different dealers and it is still not fixed.

dislikeFilled Lori S.

I wish it had better gas mileage. Just average in the city and highway. It would be great if it came with better floor mats. I wish it was easier to update the navigation system. It would be nice if the middle and rear skylights could be opened.

How Reliable Is The 2013 Ford Flex?

No, the only issue I can think of is it being a gas hog. I believe the newer models come with the flex fuel which I'm sure would help tremendously

I pay $333 a month. It's a bit more than we were wanting to spend on a monthly payment but it's worth every penny in my opinion.

We paid 24k for a used car. I think it is worth the money. It was a good used car. Mine is not 'loaded' but has all the features I could really use.
