Love it! Would buy another.
So far I Haven't had any problems with my ford flex. I love the get up and go the engine has. It is very reliable. It is so comfortable for our family of four. I love the rear folding seats. My only complaint is the low gas mileage and the small gas tank.

It's a safe car, and a comfortable ride.
Comfortable, lots of room for the family for trips. It can tow for our bikes, or trailer. It has luggage rack on top. So nice options we need. Leather seats are very nice too.

All the room and ride comfort
Comfort, roomy, can tow, all wheel drive, lots of room for things

It is the modern mom minivan.
With 3 kids and 3 dogs the flex is the perfect car for me. I refer to it as the modern mom minivan. It is easy to load and easy to park. The flex handles very well and is very comfortable. The 3rd row is extremely spacious and has plenty of room for a full grown adult to sit comfortably.

The flex is a very zippy car for its size. It took a little while to adjust to the length of the car but otherwise it's an amazing car!
Lost of storage! Great car for families with kids. Very comfortable
accountCircle Joe Y
It rides very smooth and has lots of inside room to hauls kids, etc around.
I Like its looks, its roominess, how it rides and all of the tech options on it. It rides very smooth too. I love its color as well.

Heavy, long, and comfortable.
I really love my flex, but I feel it is behind as far as the technology goes. My father has a 2017 ford f-150 truck and it has more features than my car. I think I have the most options my car offers. The ride is excellent and the seats are comfortable. It is a heavy car and it makes me feel safe.

MyFord touch technology is faulty. Swollen lug nuts.
Its tow rating is a healthy 4,500 pounds and it accomplishes its assigned task without working up a sweat.... The flex test vehicles were outfitted with trailer sway control, a nice feature for towing novices. The upscale limited trim offers an optional twin-turbo v-6 that cranks out a stout 365 horsepower and comes standard with all-wheel drive. At our test track, the turbocharged limited hustled to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds.

DANGEROUS LIABILITY
Ford needs toREOPEN the RECALL for faulty fuel pumps. This is ALL OVER the internet. These vehicles just STOP going 75 on the highway. No gas!!! NO WARNINGS.? The recall for 2013-14 models is the EXACT model # fuel pump on other years. Including my 2010 model. FORD IS LIABLE for these parts and accidents and damage occurring from this bullshit. Very angry owner driving 4 kids around.???

Don't buy a 2018 ford flex.
Backup camera always has an issue. The ignition has a problem it thinks its has a key still in it and makes the noise like you have the key in when you open driver door. A.C. Vents are right behind steering wheel cools your hands but nothing else. I wish we had never traded in my rogue.

Was this a Monday morning car?
The day we drove the car off the lot, the electronic adjustment for the driver side mirror did not work. There have been a whole series of minor issues, defects, etc. The car also feels like it has no springs or shocks - you feel every bump. The seat is very uncomfortable on a long haul trip.
accountCircle Joan V
Gas mileage is very low, but it does use 87 octane gas.
Computer system is too complex and instructions are vague and hard to understand. Changing settings on computer is sometimes inadvertently by slight touch without intention of making changes.

A ford flex review, a good budget car.
Has problems more often than I would like but is manageable and less mileage than I would like per gallon. But otherwise internals are good runs relatively quiet and is not a terrible looking car. So it is an okay car not the best ever but it is a good budget car.

I love this car but I did have a mysterious issue that my mechanic could not find
Vehicle would not star AAA could not get it started. I had it towed and when the tow truck driver took it off the tow truck the car started. My mechanic could not find anything wrong with the car. Is this the computer software glitch or something

Best family car money can buy!
I absolutely love my ford flex sel! The car is comfortable for my family of 5 and it run smooth. The back seats have a lot of leg room. One of my favorite things is all the cup holders and the charging plugs. In addition, the car practically has no blind spots. I feel safe driving it.

The flexibility of the flex.
It has been very reliable and is great for road trips because of the comfortable seats. I love the flexibility of having the seats up or down. It is amazing how big it is! I fit a dining room table, a leaf, and 6 chairs in this car! No mechanical issues; it has been a great car for us.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Nicole A.

I love how much space there is. There is so much room even with 6 people in the car. More than enough room for groceries and people. It is also much lower to the ground which makes it easy for the kids to get in and out on their own.

likeFilled Hilda M.

Spacious, lots of comfort, great on gas, great acceleration, never had any mechanical issues, fits our whole family, lots of features. I like how you can fold the last row completely flat to get more luggage in the back. 7 comfortable seats. Dual climate control so we never fight about temperature.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Nicole A.

Gas mileage is not great. Also the pickup really takes minute. Cars will fly past me when I am trying to get speed at a green light. The rear headrests made it difficult to see so you do need to remember to hold them down when there are no third row passengers.

dislikeFilled Hilda M.

The only issue I have with this vehicle is that the technology is up to date that it does not read my really old ancient iPod so I am stuck with radio or CDs only. Other than that I have not discovered any dislikes of this vehicle.

Is The 2018 Ford Flex A Good Car?

Yes! It drives really well, it is quiet, has great get up and go, I love the AWD and the interior is very comfortable.
Lindsay L.
I dislike the quality of the tires. But for a family of 6 its very spacious. Good driving daily and for travel. Gas is a bit spacey for a truck but subtle.
R R.
It is an outstanding vehicle. Well engineered, smooth riding, and roomy, I can put all travel items and my fishing gear in the rear without blocking the rear view. I'm happy with the gas mileage.
Luke K.

How Reliable Is The 2018 Ford Flex?

So far it has been very reliable. I haven't had any problems. I love the remote start and use it often.
Lindsay L.
My airbag is out on my passenger side. Missing front bumper. A very aggravating road rager cracker my driver side view mirror. Kids have modernized it to their snack liking but that can all be fixed.
R R.
We have found it to be one of most reliable vehicle purchases. Our first Flex we owned for eight years.

Is The 2018 Ford Flex A Good Value?

I bought mine a year old and it was an incredible deal for the number of miles that were on it. I think it is worth the cost for sure.
Lindsay L.
I got a car loan. For the year and the price given, its straight. But of course it's not affordable to everyone.

$33,700 an excellent value for this vehicle. The engineering and extras that are included in Flex make this a joy to drive. The effort of all the employees at the dealer made us feel like they were... Read More
