I absolutely love my ford flex sel! The car is comfortable for my family of 5 and it run smooth. The back seats have a lot of leg room. One of my favorite things is all the cup holders and the charging plugs. In addition, the car practically has no blind spots. I feel safe driving it.

The flexibility of the flex.
It has been very reliable and is great for road trips because of the comfortable seats. I love the flexibility of having the seats up or down. It is amazing how big it is! I fit a dining room table, a leaf, and 6 chairs in this car! No mechanical issues; it has been a great car for us.

Was this a Monday morning car?
The day we drove the car off the lot, the electronic adjustment for the driver side mirror did not work. There have been a whole series of minor issues, defects, etc. The car also feels like it has no springs or shocks - you feel every bump. The seat is very uncomfortable on a long haul trip.

This is a great car to own.
I recommend this car to people who have small families. It has been a great car for my family and has plenty of room inside. Seats fold down and the rear seats recline which my kids love on long trips. It is a fuel efficient and very comfortable car to drive around.

The space is incredible in the flex.
I love the room the flex has. I easily fit rear facing car seats in the second row without being squished while sitting in the front seat. The 3rd row is also functional and 2 average sized adults can sit comfortably. While the look of the car outside isn't great, the room on the inside more than makes up for the ascetics of the exterior.

Great car for families and long trips.
My favorite car to drive and ride in. The ride is very smooth and super comfortable, even with a full car of people. Everyone that rides in it, loves it. Never had an issues. A detail we like is the large storage area and flatness of the rear area.
There is a lot of legroom and headroom, making it easy to get in and out of the vehicle. The heated seats are comfortable and adjust in many directions for personal fit. The interior is roomy and we can fit many things in it. The audio has am/FM/CD options, excellent sound, and it is easy to use. The passengers frequently use the cell phone speaker option, it is clear to understand the caller. And the exterior features attractive styling, and the flex has a very smooth ride.

It's a safe car, and a comfortable ride.

Ford flex is very flexible!
Ford flex is aptly named. Flexible! Seats 7 or 4 and some cargo or 2 and lots of cargo! Comfortable. Ability to use your iPhone hands free to talk, text, or use maps to navigate. This is the second in a row for me, and I hope they keep the body style in their lineup forever!

I enjoy the mileage. You can't beat the 26 mpg average along with the smooth ride.
Is truly a great, roomy vehicle. Even fully loaded, I still get 26 mpg. This is the third Ford flex that we have leased. I would recommend this vehicle to everyone.

We have 3 Flex’s. 2010, 2017, & 2018. Absolutely the best value vehicles we’ve ever owned. Exceptional build quality, ride, and performance. AWD works perfectly on all 3. Older flex still gets better mpg, even at over 180k.

I love how the seats fold down in the back. It can haul a lot.
This is a reliable vehicle and I have had no problems with it. However when I first got it new, the mirror stopped working, however I think it was due to an issue with the electronics. We were able to get it replaced with the warranty which was awesome. I love the size of this car and the smoothness of the ride. It has taken my family on plenty of trips and has not let us down.

What we think about our flex!
The flex has been sold since 2009, making it one of the oldest vehicles on the market. Still, it is aged nicely, with styling that still stands out, and a unique form factor that distinguishes it from today's large crossovers. Although ford has integrated safety features like active cruise control and rear cross-traffic assist over the years, those are optional extras that are standard equipment on newer competitors. Technology is starting to fall behind the times, even with the upgraded infotainment setup. Still, we dig the flex's looks, and the optional twin-turbo v-6 makes it pretty quick. Even a decade on, it remains one of the cooler people movers you can buy.

Don't buy a 2018 ford flex.
Backup camera always has an issue. The ignition has a problem it thinks its has a key still in it and makes the noise like you have the key in when you open driver door. A.C. Vents are right behind steering wheel cools your hands but nothing else. I wish we had never traded in my rogue.

DANGEROUS LIABILITY
Ford needs toREOPEN the RECALL for faulty fuel pumps. This is ALL OVER the internet. These vehicles just STOP going 75 on the highway. No gas!!! NO WARNINGS.? The recall for 2013-14 models is the EXACT model # fuel pump on other years. Including my 2010 model. FORD IS LIABLE for these parts and accidents and damage occurring from this bullshit. Very angry owner driving 4 kids around.???

Pros and cons of the flex for a family with kids and dogs.
The flex is very spacious m, drives really and gets good gas mileage. Kids and dogs can get in and out of the car easy. Wish one of the seats would fold into the floor or be able to come out so you had more access to the back seats. Could be a little better in the snow. Other than that I love the flex for my family.

A ford flex review, a good budget car.
Has problems more often than I would like but is manageable and less mileage than I would like per gallon. But otherwise internals are good runs relatively quiet and is not a terrible looking car. So it is an okay car not the best ever but it is a good budget car.

Everything in my ford flex is so advanced and it works so well! I was worried because it was so long and I've only had a car before but I was shocked that it is so easy to drive! I have a newborn and there's so much room in the car, it fits everything that is needed with some room to spare.

I love my vehicle. I'drives well. Many comfort features including heated leather seats, dual climate control, and 3rd row seating. It also very stylish and avoids the 'minivan' mom stereotype. The flex handles well in all driving conditions, rain, snow, and ice.

Why the Ford Flex is cool.
Door gaskets needed repair right away. Floor heat is not good. Awesome cargo space. Drives smooth. Plenty of power. Very comfortable for long road trips. Rear bucket seats are nice. Heated seats are wonderful. Wish it had a heated steering wheel. Wipers could be better quality.

An easy, comfortable family vehicle with plenty of space.
This vehicle is very spacious with a third row of seating. It has a touch screen for your controls along with touch buttons. It is an easy ride but it can get up and go when you need it to. The seats are leather and heated (3 different levels of hearing).

It has been the perfect family car for us! We needed something with three rows. We have three car seats in the second row and it has plenty of room, cleans well, and is easy to store things. Runs well, no service issues, no complaints. This is the second flex we have had and will continue to have them.

Great Car for a big Guy like me

2018 ford flex fits our family of six perfectly.
Our flex fits of family of six perfectly! Especially with separate controlling of temps for front and back temps and charging stations throughout car. Enough cargo space for groceries and yard sale buying. The second and third row seats can be flattened to use to carry for large item. Our flex gets excellent gas mileage.

It is the modern mom minivan.
With 3 kids and 3 dogs the flex is the perfect car for me. I refer to it as the modern mom minivan. It is easy to load and easy to park. The flex handles very well and is very comfortable. The 3rd row is extremely spacious and has plenty of room for a full grown adult to sit comfortably.

The ford flex seats 8 passengers folding seats each way turns beautifully and the start and stop have not been an issue. The folding seats are a plus when loading and unloading. The lift gate can be opened and closed from the inside outside or the remote.

Roomy, comfy, and great ride!
I have had zero, yes zero, problems with my vehicle. Performance is awesome, accelerates very nice. Gas usage is better than estimates. Comfort level is superb and the whole family is comfortable - even during long road trips. We love the many features offered in our trim package, but our favorite would have to be the dual climate controls since my husband and I have different comfort levels!

You have great amount of space in the back for child things or groceries.
It is a great size for a family of 4. It can store a lot of things. I love the button lift gate ability. Having so many sunroofs def give it a more natural feel. It drives very well. I feel very safe and comfortable driving it. Having the option of 3rd row is very nice for carpool option.

I love this car but I did have a mysterious issue that my mechanic could not find
Vehicle would not star AAA could not get it started. I had it towed and when the tow truck driver took it off the tow truck the car started. My mechanic could not find anything wrong with the car. Is this the computer software glitch or something

Pro. It's great for a family of 6. With a 3 row. And powerful to the foot. Leather and of course roomy. Seat warmers. Cons. They could work on a better style frame. Seat warmer should work when warming up the car. Leather gets cold. Digital keyboard on door comes loose.

Rides great, love the size as well.
I have had some issues with loose parts making squeaking noises in my car. Also from time to time it tells me that the key is not in the vehicle when it is. And the other day my car wouldn't turn completely off. There’s a seal on the inside of my door that is slightly bulged out as well I am not sure what that is from.

Gas mileage is very low, but it does use 87 octane gas.
Computer system is too complex and instructions are vague and hard to understand. Changing settings on computer is sometimes inadvertently by slight touch without intention of making changes.

Ford flex review: the family car!
This vehicle has room for 7 passengers. The seats are comfortable and the front seats can be heated. The gas mileage is good on streets and freeway. This is a reliable car. I have had no mechanical problems and am up to 13000 miles. There are many USB outlets which is ice for everyone to plug in their phone chargers.

I love my flex! I did not buy my vehicle for its looks however it is been great for every occasion. My children get in and out and I do not have to worry about them falling out. My grandmother can get in and out without working overtime. Also both kids can have a friend over and we all fit comfortably!

Super spacious family vehicle
This car is very spacious inside for our family of 7. The back seats are roomy and don't feel cramped. I really appreciate the smooth drive, it handles like a car not a bulky truck or SUV. The limited trim package is a noticeable upgrade from the base model we test drive and worth the extra investment. Some of the features I'm enjoying in this car are the backup camera and the blind spot indicators on the side mirrors.

It gives me and my children enough room in comfort while traveling.
It's an all wheel drive vehicle so it goes through tires super quick. And also uses gas up but isn't horrible. It's a comfortable vehicle for a family. And my kids enjoy the sunroofs. I love the heated and cooled seat along with my tow package. The window tints keep the seats from completely getting scalding hot in the summer. I love the remote start in the winter cold months.

The ford flex is a very reliable, spacious, and comfortable car. My mother and I have owned flexes since I was just 13 and have loved every one of them! They get great gas mileage and have enough space in the back to fit most furniture for transport.

I use my ford flex mainly for my craft business. I love the room in the back. I no longer have to use my husband's truck for getting items to my booth and shows. It has a 3rd row seat but I doubt I will ever use it. This feature would be excellent for larger families.

Heavy, long, and comfortable.
I really love my flex, but I feel it is behind as far as the technology goes. My father has a 2017 ford f-150 truck and it has more features than my car. I think I have the most options my car offers. The ride is excellent and the seats are comfortable. It is a heavy car and it makes me feel safe.

Review of 2018 Ford Flex SEL
Well I don't have any complaints honestly. I love my car, it's great for my small family... Fits all of us and then some when needed. The third row folds down when I need extra trunk space. My ONLY complaint is that if you have children that get car sick, I notice that they get sick more often in this lower vehicle compared to our old vehicle that was higher off the ground.
