2014 Ford Focus Review: Problem Ridden & Outdated Small Car With High Ownership Costs

Alex Showalter
Oct 5, 2022

The 2014 Ford Focus only lasts around 150,000 miles with a lot of serious transmission and engine problems. At $6,775 to $13,225, it’s cheap, but not worth buying when there are so many expensive parts that break.

likeFilled The Good
Steering is responsive, the cabin is quieter than some competitors and the ST model has a very strong engine.
dislikeFilled The Bad
Ownership costs are very high for a compact car, the transmission vibrates a lot and passenger space is cramped in the back seats.

Is the 2014 Ford Focus a Good Used Car?

  • Overall Rating 5/10 – 2014 is a bad year for the Ford Focus since there are still a lot of transmission problems. Owner reviews complain about high repair costs, transmission issues, as well as a rundown interior.
  • Interior, Comfort & Cargo 5/10 – Interior materials are cheap with a lot of plastic, seats are less comfortable than competitors, while cargo space is good in the hatchback model.
  • Reliability 4/10 – Mechanical problems are widespread on the 2014 Ford Focus. We recommend avoiding models from 20122015 with some quality improvements in 2016.
  • Performance 8/10 – Performance is average from the base 4-cylinder engine while the turbocharged motor offers more power than most competitors.
  • Safety 7/10 – The Focus earns an overall 5-star rating in government crash tests. Safety technology is poor with standard rear drum brakes, as well as an optional rearview camera.
  • Gas Mileage 7/10 – Fuel economy is good at up to 33 MPG, giving 409 miles of range from the 12.4 gallon tank. Gas costs are $31 cheaper than average at $184 per month.
  • Value 5/10 – The 2014 Focus is cheaper than other compact cars although the extensive mechanical problems make it one buyers should avoid since repair costs are high.

Great gas mileage and it is very inexpensive to fill.
It has lots of power. The little mirrors in the outside mirrors to see in blind spots. The gas mileage.

Nice, reliable, fuel-efficient car.
I like that I get both fuel efficiency and good performance in this car. I have had no serious mechanical problems in almost seven years that I have had it. The trunk is deep and spacious. The only real sacrifice is that the back seat is slightly cramped. But since I am single and have no children, that is rarely an issue.

My ford focus is sleek and comfortable. It looks fantastic on the road.
My vehicle is fantastic. I love the sound of it when I start it up and I love how smoothly it drives. I also really like sync and Sirius radio, both of which I have in my vehicle! I like that it looks sleek in the sun and at night. My vehicle is also super comfortable. I have all leather interior that is black and it looks fantastic.

Great and dependable vehicle for a great price.
It has a little stutter if you attempt to accelerate from stop too quickly but overall a wonderful vehicle. It gets great gas mileage and is very dependable. There is plenty of room available for a small family and all of the things that come with the kids. It has just the right amount of extra features to not be overwhelming.

I love my 2014 ford focus.
Our 2014 ford focus performance has been overall great. It is very comfortable and has an awesome stereo system including serious XM.It has a spectacular digital display, including speedometer. It will tell you when you need an oil change, air in your tires, etc.

This is a comfortable car, that looks nice and gets good gas mileage. It has four doors and is very roomy

It is a manual transmission. Not very common.
No complaints. It is a 5 speed and have had no major issues. Brakes need replaced. Oil change every 3000-5000 miles. Owned for 5 years and has 82000 miles. Took on a 800 mile drive one time and was perfect. Very reliable vehicle. Still happy with the purchase.

Great cost effective and reliable car.
The car had a recall for a problem regarding how many miles were left until the car ran out of gas. The car is very gas efficient, I spend much less on gas than any other car I have had. The car seats are very comfortable and the features of the car are neat (I.E. Changing the color of the lights inside the car). The headlights hold a lot of moisture, sometimes causing the headlights to be dim. The car has Bluetooth or cord connection for your cell phone to play music. It also has the option for Sirius XM if you have a subscription. The engine light will occasionally turn on and off for what seems to be no reason. I love this car overall. It is extremely reliable and affordable. I will continue to get this same car in the future when the time comes.

Bad Focus transmission/clutch.
Took my focus se to ford dealer this morning. I was told i would have to pay $115.00 diagnostic fee. You know these trans./ clutches are junk and refused to admit this until class action lawsuit. I refuse to pay any amount and will be contacting a attorney. You sent me the letter finally telling me to take to dealer. I received the letter this past saturday, this is monday. Have appointment next monday, will be in touch.

Low quality car and not dependable.
There are transmission problems with the clutches in it and have had it in the garage 3 times for it. When they go bad your car shakes when pulling out. Also having issues with blower for the air and heat. It will be blowing on high and all of a sudden it will kick down like it is blowing in low setting and then kick back to the high setting for blowing. Car is very uncomfortable as well.

It gets good gas mileage, and there is a history of transmission problems for several years with the Ford Focus.
I have had problems with the transmission and have had it worked on over 5 times. It is comfortable to drive and I have owned 4 other Focus cars with no problems, this on I hate and I do not like the windshield wipers on it either.

2014 ford focus se sedan.
I have had tons of recalls on this car and have had to put more money into it then what it is worth. I have recently had to deal with my radiator and I am still having the same problems from the same recall notices on this vehicle. I highly do not recommend the ford focus to anyone from the year 2010 to 2017 that is when they are having all these recalls on this particular vehicle.

Do not buy this car, it's a bottomless money pit. You put so much money into it, for it only to fail you every time.
I dislike my car with a passion, we have replaced the clutch in the car 5 times. Now the fuel pump is failing and I've only had the car for a year. Lots of things wrong with it.

I have a 2014 ford focus se.
This car is not reliable at all. In the year and a half or so I have had it I have already had to replace the engine, the clutch, a tire rod, and a line because there was an oil leak. On top of that the tires are not good at all no matter what brand or type you get. The car runs through tires like they are nothing. It is good on gas mileage and has the flex fuel option which tremendously helps with your miles per gallon. A couple things that I do like is that it has changing interior lights. It also had heated leather seats. Another thing I like about this car is the Bluetooth audio. The seats are not the most comfortable and the headrest is very stiff.

I will never purchase another ford vehicle again.
After I purchased the vehicle I had clutch issues, that took years for them to figure out what was causing the shuttering. I've also had to replace the electric steering rack and pinion system not once but twice. In addition my radio panel just stopped working a few days ago, so now it's stuck on one station and I can't change it.
accountCircle Vanessa K
There's no truck space nor a lot of room in the back.
It is a ford. The car has transmission issues. I am on my forth one. And I have had it since October 2013 and now that my daughter is four, it is to small.

What Do Critics Say About the Ford Focus?

  • Consumer Reports says the Ford Focus has a clunky automatic transmission with very low overall owner satisfaction scores.
  • Edmunds gives the Focus a 2.3/5 praising the responsive steering, but doesn’t like the cramped back seats.
  • Kelley Blue Book users rate the Focus at 3.7/5 enjoying the cargo space in the hatchback however owners don’t like the lack of safety features.

What Common Problems Does the 2014 Ford Focus Have?

Common problems found on the 2014 Ford Focus include hesitation while shifting between gears, the engine stalling while driving, along with complete power steering system failures. Overall, these problems are more severe than in other compact cars, leading to high repair costs.

Hesitation while shifting between gears is a widespread complaint from owners at around 25,000 miles. There are a lot of transmission problems reported on the 2014 Focus which can cause it to hesitate. The most likely sources of the problem are a worn out clutch, or a broken transmission control module. Replacing the clutch costs around $1,000, while a new control module is $1,750.

The engine stalling while driving is another problem mentioned by owners in the first 50,000 miles. Replacing the spark plugs, which cost about $400, solves the problem in some cases. In other situations, the entire ECU needs to be replaced at a cost of over $1,500.

Complete power steering system failures show up on a lot of Focus models at around 75,000 miles. The entire rack and pinion assembly wears down as the cars get older. The only way to fix the problem is by replacing it. Changing out the assembly is expensive, costing over $2,500 depending on local labor rates.

There are 12 serious recalls on the 2014 Focus, which is much worse than other compact cars. The most serious recalls cover the fuel delivery module, which can crack, leading to fuel loss. Many of the other recalls cover wiring as well as canister valves, which all need to be addressed by a Ford dealership.

How Long Will the 2014 Ford Focus Last?

A well-maintained 2014 Ford Focus may last around 150,000 miles, which is only half as long as the top-rated Toyota Corolla. Regular annual maintenance costs are higher than average, according to data from Repair Pal, at $564 per year.

Since nearly all 2014 Ford Focus models on the market will have over 100,000 miles buyers should be prepared to replace the transmission oil cooler for $600, drive belts & pulleys, which cost $350, as well as the steering gears, which cost around $700.

accountCircle V B

It just had one small problem with the transmitter system. However, that problem is not too significant and is easy to overcome.

accountCircle Mike L

Yes. It has been very reliable. I have not had any problems with it. That is saying a lot because I drive it pretty hard.

accountCircle Thomas S

Again, beyond the wonky transmission, the vehicle has allowed for me to travel for work quite a bit.

accountCircle Debbie R

It is a very reliable car. In the time I have been driving it, there has been no issues that I know of with the car.

accountCircle Cassidy S

It is a very reliable car, the only problem I have is the snow build up in the tires during winter. The car handle also is sticky but otherwise it is good.

accountCircle Torie Z

My ford focus is rather reliable. There are a couple issues with it shaking when moving gears, that has not been fixed yet.

accountCircle Kathryn S

I haven't had any issues so far, I would say it is reliable. I only had one issue but it was electrical and therefore very minor.

accountCircle Jenn T

The 2014 ford focus se is very reliable. I can see myself having it for a long time. It needs a better torque converter.

How Is the Technology?

Entertainment technology is basic in entry-level Ford Focus models. There’s an available MyFord Touch package that includes an 8-inch touchscreen, which is better than average. Safety technology is lacking, the only optional feature available is a rearview camera.

Is the 2014 Ford Focus a Good Value?

No, the 2014 Ford Focus is a bad long-term value since there are a lot of mechanical problems. Blue book values range from $6,775 to $13,225, making it cheaper than a Honda Civic or Mazda3. When new, the price range was $16,810 to $24,115. Depreciation is worse than average, losing about 15% of its current value per year.

What are the Different Models of the Ford Focus?

There are four models of the Ford Focus available for 2014, from the base S to the high-performance ST.

S is the entry-level model with:

  • 15-Inch Steel Wheels

What Engines Come In the Ford Focus?

  • The standard engine is an average 2.0L 4-cylinder which makes 160 horsepower while getting up to 33 MPG.
  • An available upgrade on the ST model is the very strong turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder which generates 252 horsepower at up to 26 MPG. Performance is excellent, taking 6.6 seconds to go from 0-60 MPH.

What Colors Does the Ford Focus Come In?

How Comfortable Is the Ford Focus?

The 2014 Ford Focus is not very comfortable with seating for up to 5 people. Seats throughout the cabin are less supportive than in other compact cars, and the interior materials feel cheaper than average as well.

Passenger room is worse than average with limited legroom in the back seats of both the sedan and hatchback models.

How Much Storage Space Does the Ford Focus Have?

Cargo space is average with enough room in the trunk of the sedan to fit 3-4 suitcases. There’s more space in the hatchback model, which has enough room for 4-5 suitcases behind the back seats, and over 7 with the seats folded flat.

What Are the Differences Between Years?

The third generation of the Ford Focus was launched in 2012, which was discontinued in the United States after the 2018 model year due to declining sales.

2012: Fully redesigned for the third generation with a new interior, exterior, as well as technology.

2013: Both the SEL model and SE Sport package discontinued.

2014: No major changes.

2015: Minor exterior changes, updated stereo system, as well as a new more efficient engine offered.

2016: Sync 3 stereo system added, automatic transmission available on the 1.0L EcoBoost.

2017: No major changes.

2018: No changes, final model year before the Focus was discontinued.

How Does the Ford Focus Compare to the Competition?

The Ford Focus is one of the worst compact cars you can buy from 2014 since there are so many widespread problems. We recommend avoiding it at all costs since it’ll spend a lot of time in the shop.

The Chevy Cruze is another compact car which costs about $500 more. Passenger room is better in the Chevy Cruze, however, the Ford Focus is quicker if you go with the ST model. We recommend staying away from both cars for 2014 since they have a lot of mechanical problems.

The Ford Escape is an SUV available from Ford which costs around $4,000 more. Off-road capabilities and cargo space are both better in the Ford Escape, while the steering is more responsive in the Ford Focus. We recommend avoiding both for 2014 since they have terrible transmissions.

This Article is extremely misleading2014 Ford Focus SE Hatchback 5-speed Manual MTX 475 doesn’t owe me anything.
I Purchased my 2014 Ford Focus SE in 2017 with 44,318 miles on it with fords MTX-475 - 5-speed manual trans , this is where most people have gone wrong : fords automatic DCT Transmission is weakest, most expensive fix on the majority of mk3 Foci. The TCM /DCT TRANS are the problem not the focus itself in the right configuration cost of ownership is very low. 44k miles to current 176k miles total cost of ownership fuel, repairs, insurance. In 5+years it has been $5,947, after I replaced the transmission/clutch. Due to a teen driver trying to downshift without the clutch. Also contrary to this article. This car starts every time the ignition is turned no matter the weather. Any electrical problems, charging/starting/etc. Are almost always due to poor or faulty installation of aftermarket lighting, subwoofer+amp, etc. The car rides on rails ( handles like a go cart ) when racing is very predictable and consistent ,steering wheel feedback is natural feeling, all around great little car that is fun to drive ,reliable , and cheap to own. (In the Manual 5 speed configuration) the car is no slouch performance wise, 15.1 second 1/4 mile @ 96mph (Dragy ET confirmed) even with High miles. Contrary to C&D’s detail “first drive” review which clocked it @16.5sec @ 89mph, Maybe they should learn how to drive🤷‍♂️. Critics should stick to being critical and leave the driving to the real drivers.lol! To sum up, this car doesn’t Owe me a dime , it’s been so good to us, that we can’t bring ourselves to part with it, although as the miles continue to go up , eventually somethingtoo expensive to fix will go bad. I want to trade in/sell prior to this happening. But the next car couldn’t possibly stack up to how well this car has served my family.

Love my 2014 Ford Focus Titanium
I purchased my 2014 Ford Focus Titaniam in used condition in March 2018 with 20,000 miles on it The current mileage is now just over 30,000. That's 10,000 miles in 4 years. During the past 4 years, I have replaced the tires, the windshield wipers and the two back taillights. I have the maintenance done every 4 years when I change the oil. And the only problem I'm experiencing right now is the back-up camera works off and on. I'm surprised when I read how low it's rated by the many online posts With gas now almost $5.00 a gallon,I really appreciate the great mileage per gallon that I am getting with regular unleaded The car's finish I believe is called Tuxedo Black and when the car is washed, it still looks almost brand-new. I have no regrets in my decisio to purchase it used and it came with the warranty extended to 2025.

Great car
The only negative I have to say is that the backseat is small. I have a 2 year old and his car seat takes up the entire backseat basically. I recently just totaled my car by hydroplaning and slamming into a concrete divider on the highway going about 60mph. I walked away completely unharmed minus some bruising across my stomach and shoulder from the seatbelt. I shouldn’t have walked away from that crash like I did. But the car saved me.

Why I love my ford focus.
Ford focus was a pretty good car. It was fun to drive, versatile and available in a wide range of body styles. But as the years went on, newer and more polished rivals relegated it to mid-pack status. Not so with the current-generation focus, which debuted for 2012 and ranks among the best picks in the compact car segment.
accountCircle Haley E on June 25, 2021

It is gets good gas mileage. It drives nice. I have had to have the clutch replaced 2 times already though. Things seems to go wrong with it quite a bit. Part of me wishes I didn't get this car and got something else. I also already had a recall on the car for the door as well.

Not the best, not the worst.
Tires do not last very long/multiple issues with tires- tire pressure light continuously stayed on even once we changed the tires. Brakes became faulty for a time period. Heated seats are a nice asset. Gas mileage on vehicle is long lasting. Air and heating does not go out. Experience overall driving a ford focus has been alright.

Decent for the price point.
The transmission has repeated issues, and the vehicle also has several recalls. The recalls range from the transmission, door lock issues, gas tank sensors, and so on. The horn on the car has also gone out repeatedly after being fixed, and it still goes out after working for about three days.

My reliable and safe ford focus.
This was my first car when I turned 16 and has been perfect for me. It is a great size for when you are starting to drive and has been a great size for residing in Los Angeles. The car had a minor engine recall in the past but was fixed in a timely manner and compensated by ford. The only complaints for the car are the small gas tank (I can only get 300 miles per full tank) and the engine struggles when climbing hills. My favorite features of the car are the Bluetooth Sony sound system and the heated seats.

Fun to drive, good mpg, comfortable.
My ford focus St is really nice. I like the mpg and the technology features, I wish it had more but I am fine with what it comes with. I haven't got any major problems yet. I feel confident with the car taking it on long trips. Performance is really good it is not a really fast car but it is really fun to drive and pushy with the little 2.0l turbo engine. Suspensions are really nice, you can feel stable on it; not to aggressive but comfortable at the same time. Would love some different exhaust notes just for being the St trim so it can be distinguished from the other trims but it is ok.

Small, fun car perfect for young teens or adults.
There was a recall in this model. Other than that, it drives good. It is very small; therefore, I do not recommend this for people with a family. Ages between 15-25 would be a good fit for this vehicle. The Bluetooth is a little dated and does not connect automatically, it has be reconnected each time.

2014 ford focus se hatch is a dependable car at a reasonable price.
So far the 2014 ford focus has been reliable to me. I work in transportation part time and it is been doing the job just fine. It is got plenty of room and does not take much money to fill the tank. The things keeping it from a five star review for me is that it unfortunately has a kickback when you accelerate from a stop and it seems to really struggle picking up speed. Other than those two things I say it is a good enough vehicle. The electronics work just fine. Bluetooth is great and I am a fan of how the trunk has a cover so nobody can look into it.

Great small car with great gas mileage. Great first car for anyone who just got their license. It is not a good car for driving in the snow as it will slide. Would be better if the car offered a backup camera and have Sirius XM radio availability. The back seat is not kind of small.

Ford focus: a basic sedan.
Transmission seems prone to problems. Vehicle handles well, although the overall durability on the car is somewhat low. Body of the car seems like it does not hold together very well. Currently I am using ford as my primary vehicle. I have been using this vehicle from 2014 and still I am very much satisfied of its performance. As soon as I got my car with only 9 miles on it the transmission kept slipping. I took it to Oxmoor ford and they said they have a recall out on a part for the transmission but it is not the part that is slipping. So I would have to pay for a whole new transmission basically.

This car is comfortable and easy to use.
I really like my car because it is very comfortable and easy to use. I haven't had any problems with my car for a long time. It is very easy to understand the features the car has. The car has a great performance, and it makes long trips very comfortable.

2014 ford focus s do not buy a ford car.
I had to replace the clutch in the transmission three different times since I have owned this car. I have had to get new tires five different times. Brakes have gone bad on it twice. This car is a lemon! Good on gas and there is good trunk space and legroom in the back of the seats. Not a reliable car at all.
accountCircle cristina B on June 11, 2021
Good for a first car, I like the seats.
Transmission issues. If I had known of that I would not have bought the car. Overall I haven't had too many problems after having issues resolved and repaired. Because issues are so common with these cars, I have a constant fear of breaking down almost every day.

Reliable car, but some issues with size and other features.
Has worked well over many miles, and has been very consistently reliable in getting me where I need to go. Mileage is pretty good too, but I dislike how touchy the breaks are and how small the backseat is. We are also having issues with the tires (we tend to get the low tire pressure warning pretty often).

Cheap, bad transmission, still runs.
The car was nice and cheap, but has had transmission problems since day 1. We finally got it replaced under warranty last year after it started slipping. It is good on gas, and still running with about 100,000 miles, so cannot complain too much. You cannot access your iPhone music unless you use the voice command, which sometimes does not work.

My 2014 ford focus review.
My vehicle has about 80,000 miles on it. I had to get the transmission replaced before I had 75,000 miles on the car. The comfort level and space is really nice. The main issue is that the stereo went out and no longer works. The gas mileage is excellent. It gets about 30 mpg in the city and close to 40 mpg on the interstate.

Sunroof is great! And so is the performance!
The car is kind of slow when you get off the line. But overall, I just got this car almost 2 months ago and it has been amazing. The owners prior to me didn't change the brakes or certain other things for the car so I have to do them, but driving wise? I love the car.

Ford focus 2014 owned over 3 years.
My vehicle has currently almost 92 miles and it works fine. I have owned it for 3 years now and I would like to have it for at least 2 more years. The performance is great, reliability and comfort are also positive. Regarding features, it does not have a lot of extra features but it is enough for what I need my car,

It has two led displays in it.
It is a fun car. It is great on gas I get almost 30 miles to the gallon. The only problem with the ford focus is the transmission, it has plastic parts in it and has been recalled by ford motor company. If you can get passed putting a new transmission in every so often it is a nice ride.

Transmission issues but otherwise a fine car.
Consistently has transmission and clutch issues. Is fixed by dealership for free but was told that it will always be a reoccurring issue. Is not safe when trying to accelerate on a highway as the accelerator takes a while to get from around 40mph to 70mph.

Comfortable, gas saving car.
It is reliable, gets good gas mileage and comfortable. It just has an issue with hesitation when I first start out but it has always had that problem. Has had a lot of recalls but got all that taken care of. Bought the car due to travel to and from work.

Why I like my car and how it is perfect for me.
I like my vehicle, it runs smooth most of the time. Sometimes it is slow to start a few mornings. I don't have to put gas in it everyday and I think I get good gas mileage. I like to wash and wax the car to keep it looking nice. I think a well maintained vehicle is worth investing in.

The ability for the back seats to fold down is the best part of my car.
I was looking for a small hatchback to get me through college and that is exactly what I got! I bought that car used with only sixteen thousand miles and so far I have had to change the battery. Other than that getting regular oil changes really helps my car stay running for now.

Cheap very reliable and great for a family of 4.
It's a practical car with room for family of four. Comfortable ride with very good gas mileage and above average trunk space. It was very affordable with little to no maintenance required during the first 60k miles I have put on it. I really love the ford brand and the service ford provides me.

The heated mobile blueberry.
Everything is nice except the hesitation issue which comes from the transmission. The gas mileage is great. My car has heated seats, mirror defrost and back window defrost, sunroof, steering wheel controls. And pretty reliable getting from 1 place to another. Pretty comfortable for average height. Little small for the giants over 6 ft. Especially in the back seat.

Ford focus. A great little car.
The car has good gas mileage and is fun to drive. It has a good stereo and sound system. It had some issues with shifting but ford took care of it and it runs smoother now. The seats are comfortable especially on a long drive. It has plenty of room for being a small car.

My vehicle is very nice conservative car that rumbles once in awhile.
The transmission is known to have a rumbling problem, the doors are really heavy and people struggle to open them. The car is sturdy has made it over curbs and through backing up into things. Very comfortable, but a little small. The passenger window button has stopped working and it is just that button. Great on mileage. Convenient phone services included.

Outside of the electronic clutch.
My model has had issues with the computer shifting clutch, which has been a real pain. Twice is has been replaced, though is seem fix now and good on ford to final extend more long term coverage (100k) of the part goes out again. Otherwise, I have been very happy with the car.

Small but fast. Gets the job done.
Has no Bluetooth system. Stereo is very basic and not up to date. It has both power and manual windows, which is a pain. Is a good car that gets good gas mileage. Not a lot of space but for a single girl it gets the job done. Would prefer a car more around the size of a fusion, but this was in My price range.

I love the features provided in front of the dashboard.
It does not have crazy get up and go, however it still has enough power in it to accelerate fairly quickly. It provides information in front of the steering wheel, which is extremely convenient. The one thing I dislike is that the button to lock and unlock the doors is on the console with the radio controls, this is not as convenient as a regular car where all you have to do is push the button on the door; it's something that takes some time getting use too.

Details about the 2014 ford focus.
The overall veh is ok. The major issues I have are with the transmission. I have had to take my veh onto ford multiple times for the issues with the transmissions. I would not recommend this veh to my friends if they are able to get something else. I have not had any issues with the engine or the steering. The display screens are nice but wish they had more features to them as well. Veh will tell you when there is a issue with the veh most of the time.

Fuel efficient and reliable.
The car has minimal problems aside from a recall that occurred a year or two ago. The car performs well for what it is. The gas mileage is very good and the car is very reliable. The backseat is a bit small considering it is a subcompact car but other than that it is comfortable. The Bluetooth can be difficult at times.

Red ford focus! Four door sedan. Great car mileage and great on gas.
The ford focus is a great car runs very smooth & very good gas. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I have been with ford for years now. It has a touch screen radio. Back up noises for you so you can hear when your getting close to something. Blind spot mirrors. & leather seats!

The car tracks how many miles you have left until you need to get gas!
The vehicle has no problems. It is an extremely reliable car. The seats are very comfortable and of course these has the heated seats which is amazing in the winter time. Something else I really like about the car is there are lights inside that turn on when it gets dark out, one in the cup holder, the door handle, and by your feet.

My red beauty is the fastest around.
My car has amazing gas mileage and can go great distances without any problems the whole make of the car just sound great when you drive down the road. If your looking to travel or for a car for everyday use then this car would be perfect to drive around.

Great mpg, but mechanically wouldn't recommend.
The car is small and compact. For that reason it gets amazing gas mileage. This is the 1 thing I love about the car. But the car itself has some mechanical issues. It has had several recalls. The car will shake up acceleration, usually when shifting from 1-2 gear or 2-3 gear. Because it is so compact, we struggle to fit even 1 car seat in the vehicle, and anyone over 5’11’ really is not comfortable in the vehicle.
