I think the 2006 Fusion is one of the best Fusions available. The 2010 one we own is not as comfortable and seems unreliable compared to the 2006. It has plenty of power and great fuel efficiency . I love my Fusion.

For the most part I love my Ford Fusion but not Ford. They have a recall and I got notice of it over two years ago and they still do not have a fix. Not acceptable.

2006 Ford Fusion SE. Low maintenance, good gas mileage, nice family vehicle.
Vehicle has been very low maintenance, roomy, comfortable. Plenty of trunk space for trips with a family of four. Tires do not wear well, even when rotated often, although I do more driving around town than I do on the highway. Interior doors are also a problem. I've had to replace them six times since I have owned the vehicle.

Affordable, comfy and smooth
The gas mileage is very good. I hardly have to put gas in and it drives smooth. Sadly there's no aux cord. I love listening to my own music without commercials but am not able to do so. The air and heat work perfect, it's almost too much when I just have it on low.

2006 Ford Fusion sel 6 cylinder.
It is been great mechanically. I have had electrical issues with the blinkers and that is an expensive fix. The car drives great, handles very nicely and had s lot of power. It is got about 115000 miles on it and I just recently changed the stock brake pads out.

I have logged over 164,000 miles and it still runs like new.
I like how well it still runs after so many miles. It handles really well and is very durable for a mid-size sedan. I do not like that the inside driver door handle is broken and the fuel efficiency is terrible compared to newer models.

My reliable ford fusion is still great!
I like the style of the fusion. It is roomy and comfortable. It has a modern feel and look and looks like quality. It is also reliable. Not many problems with my fusion. I am always looking for better gas mileage, but the fusion gets an average of 25 to 30 mpg consistently so I do not feel that is too bad.

I have been very happy with my Ford Fusion since I purchased it in 2006. It is a good reliable car as I have kept up with general maintenance, i.e.. Oil changes, other fluid changes, brakes, tire rotations, and tire purchase after 50, 000 miles as stated in my owner manual to keep in running in good working order. This vehicle is currently on a recall notice for the airbags to which I am waiting from my dealership to notify me when they can replace these failed bags by the manufacturer (thousands are on a long list of. Takata airbag inflators) other than this terribly long wait of defectIve airbags to be replaced, ( I do not blame Ford, just Taketa for making faultiest products. I really like, enjoy and this is a fine vehicle for me.

Reliable decent sized sedan :)
Great car! This is the longest I've ever owned any vehicle. Great gas mileage, acceleration is nice, haven't had any major problems in the past 3 years I've had it. What I dislike, though, is the presence of an aux button on the radio but no physical aux plug-in, so I've used my CD player quite a bit. Love my Fusion!

I love my ford fusion because it has been a very reliable car. It has almost 200,000 miles on it and is still going strong. I have not had any major work on it only regular maintenance done. Good gas mileage. Has a good sound motor and transmission. Do not like the leather seats though especially in winter. Check engine light has never come on unlike some of my other cars. I would definitely buy another ford fusion in the future I love the body style.

Getting old but it is laid off.
I have several dings and nicks in my car from hail damage and parking. My mirror is broke and cracked. My door handle broke on the driver side so you have to roll down the window to open the door. The oil is starting to leak and I still have to use a key.

Quality and dependable 2006 Ford Fusion
My fusion drives super smoothly on paved roads. Has very user friendly interior settings and controls. Great family car and seats 5 comfortably. Has decent acceleration to go fast very quickly. Also has great sound systems with good quality speakers.

My 12 year old Ford Fusion has needed only routine maintenance.
My 2006 Ford Fusion has almost 75, 000 miles on it and I have had no major repairs in the 5 years that I have owned it. I love that there is a lot of trunk space, the bulbs and headlights are easy to replace, and that it has a multi-disc CD player! The driver's seat is easy to adjust in multiple ways, making long road trips a pleasure to drive. The only "cons" I can think of is blind spots and that the brake light placement at the top of the rear window is distracting.

My Fusion has been the best car I have owned. The only major repair I have done in the 12 years I have this car is replacing the ignition module. The worst thing about it is, the door handles are worn out and I gave to manually lock the passenger side doors.

It is reliable, and when it first was made, it was cool looking for a sedan. It accelerates really fast, which is a feature I love about it.
I love that my car has been so reliable. It has 230,000 miles on it, and it is still going strong. My only complaints are that it is starting to get old looking, and it does not have the latest technology. It is not my dream car, but it has been a great, reliable car.

The Ford Fusion is a great, reliable car.
The car is really great and reliable. It has good features and a good look overall. It is easy to use and handles well. The only thing I do not like about it is it is transmission. For example, when you are going on the highway, it sounds like the car struggles to get up to speed right away. When you really step on the gas it takes a few seconds for it to actually get going. Once it gets up to speed it is fine though. I have had no other problems with this car. It is my first car and so far I am loving it!

This car has not had many issues while I have owned it. Its comfortable, convenient, and easy to handle. The biggest issues I have had with it involve driving in the snow, for which it is not ideal. However, that was fixed with some snow tires.

Ford fusion- get ready to fall in love!
Love this vehicle! I would drive it forever if I could. Great gas mileage, sporty look, lots of zip! It has plenty of storage and heats up and cold down quickly. It also handles well on the winter roads. I would highly suggest it for anyone and I love ford products:).

I absolutely love this car!! It has the perfect. Amount of room for me and the pickup is surprisingly good for a 12 year old car. However, the thing that I do not like about it is it does not have an AUX input and I had to buy a special Bluetooth device to put into the cigarette lighter.

My car is very spacious and comfortable.
I lived in Michigan growing up and then joined the navy and then I moved to San Diego then was transferred to San Antonio and then Georgia. I drove my car cross country a couple times and my car has never broke down on me. She has a little wear and tear but I've always gotten to my location safely. I've always had the maintenance kept up and it's been a great car for a young person not wanting to put in a lot of money buying a new car. I'll keep my car until I can't drive it anymore.

My 2006 Ford Fusion has been a great car for me. It has been very reliable. I have 186, 000 miles. This past year I have had to replace the blower motor for the defroster/ac and the power steering pump. These are the first major repairs I have had. The car is 5 star safety rated. Average mpg is 25.

While the gas mileage when used in town isn't that glamorous, the car itself has only required maintenance (wear and tear). It is currently waiting a replacement due to a recall on the passenger side airbag.

My ford is like a tank, unfortunately, the repairs with this care are never simple nor inexpensive. But I have a 2006 car with a little over 70k and it's very reliable and great on gas mileage. I would buy a similar car in the future, when this one eventually reaches the end of its life.

I bought this car used. It had 139,400 miles. I like it because it has 4 doors and a very big trunk. I dislike it because it didn't come with AC. Secondly, i have now spent $5000 dollars replacing parts. Entire brake system, 4 brand new tires and the oil leak from the main head gasket.

Vehicle has been super reliable so far. Has 410,000 miles on it and is still going strong! Haven't had many issues other than the power steering leaking slowly as of late and the bolts on the air conditioning compressor snooping off. I just started to get a slight exhaust leak. Seats are comfortable interior is still nice for the time. The main thing that sold me in the beginning was the dashboard, I love the molded speedo and tach.

This car was initially an urgent buy, but I am really glad I bought it! Having had it for 9 years, I have had barely any issues with it. I did have to replace my transmission years ago, but I do not know the exact cause as this car was pre-owned and had been in a prior accident before my purchase. Other than the transmission replacement, I only need to do the yearly maintenance! It is sturdy car that will last you awhile. If you are not looking for anything fancy, check out the ford fusion.

Great car in the beginning, but I was also very excited to get a new car. Not the best on gas mileage but certainly better than most. Had some issues with the AC completely going out in dead of summer and no local garage could fix it. Ended up having to take it to an actual ford dealer to have them fix it. Only complaint.

Only issues have been. Replacing the battery and also replacing the oxygen sensors. Other than that I haven't had any issues it is good on gas I do not know what else to say in the survey in regards to this. My ride is awesome with the leather seats.
Its performance is good and I have no complaints it have been reliable except for a few minor problems which I am the blame. The car was worth the money and anyone thinking of purchasing a ford make and model of any kind will find that you will get what you paid for and you will be satisfied that you made that purchase. I also like the standard features including the sunroof, leather seats and the size fits me well. I really love this vehicle and it will always be one of my favorite cars.

2006 Ford Fusion, great car!
Bought it with 80k miles, have had to replace the thermostat and radiator. Otherwise the car has been great. This will be our first year to use the car in the water/ice and I am not sure about traction. I have lost traction once so far but the anti-lock system helped a lot. I believe that is the reason I didn't crash. The handling has been great otherwise. The car does not have fast acceleration, but great cruse.

The quality and efficiency of the Ford fusion
The fusion run smoothly can't hear the engine when it's on. Not fully loaded, but it has what you basically need. Not running right now cause need an alternator fixing is a little bit difficult since a lot of it is computerized. Car was bought in 2006 and it just gave problems now 2018 so it's a pretty good car.

It has really great gas mileage. Which is great for a college student who doesn't like to spend a lot of money on gas all the time.
My only complaint with this car is, I bought it used and the drivers seat will not move forward. It is really annoying because I have to drive so far back. Also the pop trunk button is in a bad spot that my knee will unintentionally hit it and open my trunk.

The check engine light never shuts off.
We have had several recalls on the airbags, we cannot get the check engine light to shut off even though we have fixed the problem. The car dies have power. And that is what I like about it. Something is constantly wrong with it the maintenance in the car is never ending.

This car has performed beyond expectations
This has been an awesome car! Repairs have been minimal (tires, starter, brakes). No oil leaks The car has leather seats. Upholstery has stayed in good shape. No cracks or tears. Same with Exterior. Paint has stayed nice. No sun damage. Gas mileage is good...30 miles per gallon on the road. Dual tail pipes give the car a sporty feel as do the sporty wheels. Enjoy the power seats, automatic headlights. The ride is very solid and quiet interior when driving. Has lots of storage too. The trunk is quite large. Accommodates 3 medium size suitcases and a large ice chest. The interior has a glove box in the dashboard, a center console and a regular glove box. The console has 2 cup holders and the doors in front doors also can hold cups or store things. The rear has a fold down cup holder also. The car has 120,000 miles and continues to perform well. I would recommend this model to any prospective buyer.

The car is very dependable.
The vehicle is not as big as I want a vehicle to be. The car has started to have some performance issues. The brake pedal wobbles when you push the break. There are couple of alert lights coming on such as the abs light. Other than that the car is very dependable and is not a gas hog. I drove the vehicle from Indiana to Florida and back and it drove great.

Best 2006 Ford car you can drive
I have know problems with my vehicle. Bought it brand new. There has been only one recall this year and it was the seatbelts. It included 6 CD changer, black cloth seats with sunroof. It also have dual pipes and runs real smooth. Never had any issues with this car.

The Ford Fusion runs great but could use some fixes.
I do not have many problems with my car. The only things that really bother me with it is mainly due to the fact of how old it is. It creaks a lot and it is very annoying. It also shakes when in park. It runs really bad sometimes too. It also is constantly needing an oil change. Other than that, it is an all around good car. It is appearance is not the best and I would prefer new seats. However, it is still a great car.

My 2006 Ford Fusion Review
No air conditioning, goes out every summer. All blinkers go out frequently. The vehicle gets good gas mileage and drives well and smooth. No other major problems besides the ones listed. Overall, I really like my car and would recommend it to someone looking to buy a fusion. I personally like the newer look and have thought about purchasing a new model myself.

It's not a long living car.
The front dash is coming apart due to the heat from the windshield, Its transmission isn't going to hold up, Its burning oil and leaking oil. It's a 130k miles and It's not going to make it to 300k.

Secret department is the best.
I love my 2006 Ford Fusion. I have wanted this vehicle for years. It is the most reliable car I have owned. I love the storage pockets on the back of the front seats. It gives my children a place to put their things when we travel. It has a secret department in the middle of the dashboard where I can keep important papers as well as my wallet.

Great for small family but not teenagers
Gets good gas mileage but has issue with the transmission. That can't be fixed and the passenger airbag is messed up causing the dash to come apart. Great for families with one or two kids but as the kids get bigger it is too small. Seats are not leather which is nice your legs don't stick to them.

Replacing simple parts cost lots in labor so must live without fixing. Great gas mileage, runs smoothly and quietly. Great sound system with controls in the steering wheel. Love the 6 CD changer but LCD screen stopped working. Very reliable car, popular with many drivers.

Loving my fusions, very reliable family vehicle
I have enjoy driving my fusion, it's very reliable and has not given me any trouble. I enjoy the space and have room for my family. I have keep the oil changes at 3000 and change fluids regularly. This car has got me through heavy rains and snows with ease.

2006 Ford Fusion - Great Car
Very good performance. High quality car that will last you a while. Pretty reliable, however there are recalls occasionally on a few things. Very comfortable, not too bumpy, and spacious. The rear window sits up kind of higher than other sedans so it can be hard to see out of. Overall great car

Very dependable with no problems other than routine maintenance. Great considering it's over 10 years old with 150,000 + miles on it.
I like my Ford Fusion because it rides well and is made well. There is not much road noise And it is the perfect size. My only complaint is that the turn radius is horrible. You have to take a lot of space to turn.

A very reliable and long running mid-size sedan--the Ford Fusion.
This vehicle was bought used and had a defective transmission and a defective engine. These were replaced free of charge by our dealer. Since the repairs (rebuilt parts) the cars performance has been great. It is both reliable and comfortable.

Over the years the braking system has needed multiple repairs some being very costly.
I have enjoyed owning my fusion for the past 12 years.It was a very dependable car. I will say when repairs were needed it was always a difficult and pricey fix. My biggest complaint is the airbag recall which i have been informed that it will be fixed.I have been waiting for over a year and still keep getting delayed.My overall experience with my Fusion has been good.

It has a great engine and customization potential.
I like the aftermarket parts availability for said car model. I like the car's straight-forward mechanical design. The car's materials are well put together. I also like the car's engine.
