I love my car. It drive amazingly. The sound system is great I'd buy this car again. Everything about this car is great. It's a great family car. Lots of room. It's great on gas. And it's got some get up and go to it. I would recommend this car to anyone.

2008 Ford Fusion review by very satisfied owner.
I never liked Ford vehicles before I owned this car. The Ford Fusion has been the most dependable and durable vehicle I've ever seen. The gas mileage has been great even when it hadn't been tuned up in awhile. The car has never broken down on me and it has unfortunately taken a beating. The features on it and stereo is very user friendly. It's a comfortable car for long road trips. This is a great car and I recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, decent looking car that is great on gas.

Great, reliable car. No major problems in 12 years
It is a very reliable vehicle. The only inconvenience is the recent airbag recall. Also, the headlights are difficult to replace. The front wheel needs to be removed to change the headlights. Overall, the car drives well and I have not had any major problems with it in the 12 years I've owned it. Just routine maintenance.

I haven't had any major problems with the car, and have over 150,000 miles on it. The thermostat is reading incorrectly which causes more coolant to flow than is needed. The transmission is starting to feel a little "loose" in that when I shift to Dive, it doesn't always settle in fully and I sometimes have to jiggle the gear shift to get it right.
At 10 years old and with high mileage, no major issues. Generally pleased so far.

It is very reliable and dependable.
The Ford Fusion is a very dependable car. I have been driving it for 6 years and has never had any major issues aside from your standard maintenance, battery replacements, etc. I have been in a couple of accidents but my car withstood both accidents and were repaired a reasonable prices as well. The interior is nice, comfort of the leather seats is only okay, not a lot of cushion. Fully lined with airbags in front and back. Large trunk space is really nice.

I like how perfectly sized my Ford fusion is; it is not huge but not a clown car either. I like how smooth my car runs and the mileage it gets. If I had to come up with one complaint it is that there is a little dent in the side my sister accidentally caused.

My car has pretty good miles per gallon and can hold 13-15 gallons, so I get about 380 miles to empty, give or take some.
I bought my car used. I like that it is an automatic and has much better gas mileage than my last car. I love the amount of trunk space I have and that my children's car seats can fit comfortably in the car. I like the cold A/C and the keyless entry. I do not like that there has been an issue with the dashboard and that it is peeling up in multiple areas. I wish the car was a little bigger. I like that the driver seat moves automatically, but since it's an older car I worry that when the motor goes out I won't be able to adjust my seat.

Fix Or Repair Daily. A Ford review for 2008 Ford Fusion buyers to consider
The vehicle is comfortable & fast. It was a previous government car. I have frequent problems with lights (brake lights, signals, etc.) going out. Also, the alignment isn't good as it drives bad in the rain or snow. My windshield wipers give out often. No engine problems. No electrical problems and lots of space on the inside for a compact car.

Ford is the Finest Fusion on the road
I have had no problems. All features work well. Radio, AC, power items. Body and paint have held up well. Interior ready to keep.clean. Engine is quiet and has good acceleration and power. Highway gas mileage is excellent at 34 mpg. Braking is solid and safe.

My car was purchased used low mileage. Currently has over 120, 000 miles and still runs like a champ. I have had minor mechanical problems recently, normal wear and tear. Could offer more head room, us taller people need more room. The car is eligible for satellite radio as well.

Ford Fusion. Reliable, affordable, and fun
My tensioner keeps having issues and causes a lot of other issues. The car is older of course, but it is holding up pretty well! It is very comfortable to sit in for long car rides. It is a long car and can be tough to pull out of and into parking spaces.

Ford Fusion the good and bad.
Ford Fusion: bought it used and had a r title. Never had any issues with the car. Bought it as 50k miles and currently has almost 200k and still never had any issues. I love the heated seats and sunroof, love the leather interior and easy to clean. Only thing I dislike is it does not have a USB port that is compatible with my phone.

The car is very reliable we live in the northeast and my fusion started everyday even when it was 0 below I love the lumbar seat I have many back problems and it is important to me to be able to change the positions of my seat I have to say I have been very happy overall with my gray ford fusion I would give it 2 thumbs up did I mention that it handles well on all surface and the gas mileage is spot on.

Meets Expectations; Not Built to Impress
We have had this car for a long time and it has performed well for us. We have driven it on a 16 hour road trip, there and back twice now through mountains and it has performed well. We currently get about 400 miles out of a full tank of gas. As many cars currently have, it displays the miles until empty which has been very helpful and has not had a problem starting in cold weather. There are some problems however. Randomly this year, the driver side door handle stopped working from the inside. For a few weeks, we had to roll down the window, open it from the outside and roll the window back up just to get out. It has a good amount of room for a sedan; however, could not fit a table we tried to buy once because of the design of the trunk opening. All of our complaints are small. Besides the door handle, everything functional about the car has met our expectations. I would recommend this car if you were thinking about getting a Sedan.

Cute, reliable car with great features and mileage.
This is a reliable car. It looks great, has a nice interior. Side mirrors have little mirrors that help for better view. Easy to drive. It is comfortable. 4 door. Performs well and has good gas mileage, I get about 26 mpg. It is only 4 cylinder, so not a lot of power. Air injection system is known to have problems, but overall it is a great car.

2008 Ford Fusion Review: bad car gears
I bought my car in 2010. A couple of years after having it, the gear had to be replaced. Also, my breaks are horrible in my car (even after being fixed). The airbags had a recall. I would say it's a decent car to get you around, but had multiple problems with it.

Can play 6 CDs at one time
Great on gas mileage and very comfortable, but the paint tends to bubble and peel real easy. Overall, great car love the 6 CD thing, both the heating and air work real well even though there is no in between. It has been super reliable, the only mechanical issues I've faced are the standard problems such as brakes and muffler along with one air bag recall which the company kindly fixed at their expense and offered a rental.

2008 ford fusion se with multi disc CD player and audio input feature.
My fusion has been extremely reliable. It currently has about 135,000 miles on it and I have had no real issues with it. The only time I have had to have something fixed other than the normal maintenance is when my door handle broke. It has never broken down on me or had any major problems.

It is made with cheap door handles and dashboard. Both, my driver and passenger door handles broke within the first year and the dashboard cracked within a few years.
I love the Ford Fusion but I am not happy with the way it was built. The car is made with cheap plastic parts. Within the first year the inside door handle broke, after a few years the whole dashboard is cracked and it had a cover just so that would not happen.

Interesting that Ford has yet to recall the brake problem.
Have had a problem with the brakes that I have read a lot of other people had the same issue and it should have been a recall from ford. Also have had problems with my serpentine belt coming off. Have had to change a pulley and tensioner which hopefully has fixed the problem.

It is a gray. It's got dents. The dashboard lights are green.
Pipes rust fast. Good gas mileage. Inside of car falls apart pretty fast as well. Doesn't take too long to get up to speed. Pretty good in snow with new tires. The body style is nice but it does get smashed up somewhat easily. I love the cruise control but do wish it was Bluetooth compatible.

Good vehicle, no real issues

Amazing car that is extremely reliable.
I absolutely love my car. It has been so reliable over the years. It is at 150, 000 miles and still going strong. Nothing major has been needed to be replaced or done just normal wear and tear. It has the moon and tune package so it has some great sound. I will definitely be looking into another Ford Fusion when it gets to be time to get a new car.

Bought used with issues. Tune ups need to be done by a professional. Closed transmission makes it difficult to check. Ac & heat are great. Car has great pick up for a 6 cylinder. Seats & driving visibility are comfortable for shorter stature drivers.

I wouldn't say that my car is one that is super amazing or exciting, but it is a relatively reliable car. I haven't ever run into issues of my car breaking down or having any major issues that could not be easily fixed. Since my car was used, the main issues I have had to deal with we're replacing my tires and braking system. However, I am not aware of any issues typical of this car.

That is a good affordable car.
The car drives great. Its older so it doesn't have a lot of the new features I would like but I got this car awhile ago and used so I knew it wouldn't. I have had no problems at all with this car other than the usual like getting new tires and changing the brakes. For being a car that's 10 years old it still runs like new and the ac system is amazing it gets cold very fast and can get so cold I have to turn it off. It really is a great car.

Fantastic vehicle - rear brake defect.
The abs module/pump on this car has a rare defect where one of the valves does not close all the way. As a result, the brakes are gummy and delayed. If this occurs - you'll need to replace the abs module/pump. . Other than that - I am 110k in so far and it is been running great.

An overall well built car.
Overall plain interior, well handling. Had very few mechanical issues with the vehicle over the last 10 years of ownership. Bought new, run ever since. It currently has approximately 150000 miles at this time. It has had an issue with the engine computer, and a faulty brake caliper. Both of these issues came at approximately 130000 and 135000 miles respectively. Overall a very good vehicle and I would own one similar again.

Smooth, efficient, expensive gas, very reliable, drives very fast, I enjoy taking it out for fast freeway drives. Always starts with a crisp sound. One thing I noticed in summer time was a noise it made around sharp turns. A kind of groaning sound. I got used to it. Aside from that, it is a great vehicle. The bucket seats are very comfortable for long rides.

Perfect car for travel and comfort
The gas mileage is great! If you have a big family it isn't the car for you. It drives great. Everything in the engine compartment is easy to find and is accessible. Great car all around. 2008 Ford Fusion AWD with sel package.
The car is all wheel drive which is very handy in our region as we do get some snow in the winter. It gets decent gas mileage and is fairly comfortable for short trips. We have found that for longer trips we would prefer something with a bit more comfort. We often drive for several hours at a time for work and end up traveling home late at night after long days. Sometimes my husband and I will take turns driving while the other tries to sleep, but we have discovered that our Fusion is very uncomfortable when trying to catch a nap during a trip. As far as performance, the power and handling are very good. The car has been pretty reliable with the only mechanical problem having been, unfortunately, a costly one. The computer system had to be replaced and that cost us over $1, 500. 00. We have the sel package and love the heated seats! The fog lights and sunroof are nice additions as well. There are plenty of interior storage compartments and a sizable trunk. For the tech savvy folks, the sync system is great as well!

Overall my Fusion is top of the line. I enjoy the Bluetooth, multiple CD changer, and roomy in the car. Performance is great and has get up and go power. Have taken many road trips and is very comfortable and provides lots of room for passengers. Oh did I mention the trunk? Lots of space in the trunk. One of the major problems I have had with the Car is the master cylinder for brakes. I had to take to dealership for replacement but has worked great since.

You can hook up to the radio through Bluetooth which is amazing.
The car is great. It drives smooth and gets wonderful gas mileage. I am a short person but I still think that the car is cramped. Also the controls that are on the steering wheel (ex. Cruise control and radio controls) it does not include the heat/air or fan settings. I also am not a fan that there is no digital clock only an analog clock.

I am not the biggest fan of how this automobile does not have a auxiliary plug in.
Main problems I have seen is the door handles breaking from the side especially the drivers door. Performance is reasonable I have been driving it for about 8 or 9 years. With minimal issues, just recently I have experienced heavier issues that ever but it is still operating.

I have put my vehicle in the shop numerous times back to back. I have had to replace my air conditioner, both cv joints, both wheel bearings, both headlights, the headlight sensors. The person who had the vehicle before me was an old man so I know that it was taken care of but I have had the worst luck with it. I feel as if I'd save money by buying a newer vehicle.

It's a reliable car even if there is something wrong with it.
My 2008 Ford Fusion is really nice inside it has a radio and Aux outlet. It has all seat belts and has cloth seats. It also has cruise setting and it runs very smooth. I've had it for 2 years now and the outside of it is very clean and nice. All headlights and brake lights work properly. The engine runs great it doesn't have any leaks but the only thing is it Idles really bad when still in drive. Also The A/C doesn't work but the heat works in it and it has defrost setting with Max A/C setting. The doors all open and close properly the only thing is the door handles break easy on the Ford Fusion and two out of four of the doors the handles are broken in the inside. So I have to pull the lock button and the door handle at the same time and the door will open up. All the windows work in the front and the back. The trunk of the car is really spacious. There is a space for a donut and tools if any tires go flat. It has all of its original rims. It gets pretty good gas. I can put 30 to 35 dollars in and get a full tank of gas. That will last a week or more depending on how much I use it. There's a lot of room in the inside at least 5 people can sit in the entire car. It has cup holders in the back and front.

It is very fast and when you go at high speed the vehicle has a great control
It is a very fast car, it has an excellent comfort, it has very good performance at the time of driving it, it is low in gasoline and oil, it only has some details in the part of the tripods, but it is the only thing that hurts the rest in a great car

Great starter car, reliable and affordable.
Very sturdy, reliable car. Good for a just out of college car you plan on driving for a while. Has had some electrical issues but if you are savvy with that they're all relatively easy fixes. If you keep up on oil changes and everything, the car works great, mines up 145k and still feels diet reliable. Not a great family car but decent gas mileage and a surprisingly awesome sound system for an '08.

My car is not as technologically advanced but it works wonderfully.
Lots of extra options for the price! Drives very comfortably. Do not like how you push on the accelerator and it is not a smooth acceleration.

Mechanically sound. Great handling.
The transmission went out at 175,000 miles but other than that, it has been, mechanically, a very decent car. It handles well, blind spots are not terrible. I definitely would purchase again, however I will not purchase a 4 cylinder again. It just does not have enough acceleration power.

Roomy, dependable, love it!
I really like my car, I just wish that it had different engine so that it had more get up and go. I also would like to upgrade to a crossover or SUV, just so that I do not sit so low to the ground. After dark, headlights seem to shine right in my eyes. I have never had any performance issues, and can always rely on my car when needed. There is much more room then it appears, which is great.

I have never had to have any work done on it except regular maintenance.
I love that it gets good gas mileage and handles easily. I hate that the shifter letters does not light up at night.

Awesome Fusion. Rides like the wind.
Haven't had any major problems. Just maintain fluid changes. Handles travel very well. Average 24 MPG. Transmission shifts comfortably. Maintained the oil changes every quarter. It doesn't have GPS or Bluetooth because it is an older vehicle. Other than that, awesome.

Over all reliable and lasting car.
Reliable, only had battery issues and tire and brake issues about every two years, starting to fall apart now. Comfortable car, smooth driving, performance has always been great and still is, hard to replace the starter after eight years. Reliable car would recommend it.

Low maintenance, not flashy but reliable.
Like that it is practical and affordable, drives pretty well in bad weather, good gas mileage. Dislike that it is a bit small.

It is very affordable and convenient.
I like driving the stick and the reliability of the car has been great. The vehicle drives smooth and has space for passengers. The one down side of the manual transmission is in traffic it is stop and go which is more difficult with a manual.
