Overall Good Spacious Vehicle Abundant w/ Features
The only issues I've had are electrical and then there have been recalls. The electrical issues are related to the cigarette outlets and the steering wheel controls not working properly. Also driver seat heat went out. Otherwise the car is roomy, it's a good looking vehicle. The seats are comfortable and adjustable. My driver seat is automatic. I also have a sun/moon roof which I love. The back seat is spacious and the seats fold down to make an already spacious trunk even more so. There aren't really any real obstructions to your view which I like, as I've driven smaller cars where this felt like a safety issue. It doesn't get as good of gas mileage as I would like, but the SEL model is a V6 so that is expected. I love the handsfree Bluetooth and the SYNC feature. Also Sirius radio is available and it's great to have if you can afford it since the antenna in the 2009 Ford fusion doesn't seem to be the greatest. Overall a decent car, and I don't regret my decision to purchase this vehicle.

The gas mileage on this vehicle is really good and the seats are comfortable I went from a Tahoe to this and was really surprised. I don't care for the 4 cylinder even though it is good on gas it has no get up and go and I HATE the low profile tires.

Plenty of storage in my Ford fusion.
I love my Ford fusion. It has plenty of room in the front and back seats. There is a small glove box on the dashboard and a double storage console with an extra place to charge a phone. The trunk is very large. The back seats pull down to allow room for long items in the trunk. There was a recall on the passenger airbag, but Ford replaced it.

Great gas mileage. No maintenance issues and also fits 5 comfortably. Interior very nice and durable. Very quick for a 4 cylinder. Reliable and dependable. Tires are very cheap to buy. A very reliable car for a college student
Just general maintenance problems, poor get up speed, very reliable for a college student. Oil changes are about $45 each time and driving a lot to and from college can get costly. Reasonable gas mileage per gallon. Heated seats are a big plus when living in a cold state in the winter. The back seats are comfortable for three people to fit. Driver and passenger seats are very comfortable.

We really like our Ford Fusion!
The car I drive most is my 2009 Ford Fusion. It is small enough to be easily driven, fairly good on gas and seats 4 easily, 5 in a pinch. The trunk is large and roomy. Ours has a sunroof which we rarely open and Sirius radio which I listen to constantly. We have had no major problems with our Fusion and would recommend it.

Amazing car for a great price and very reliable.
The passenger side airbag had a recall and so it was replaced, but it looks as though it was in a previous accident that wasn't reported. It is a v6 and runs great. The car is very reliable. It has Bluetooth capability. The car does not have many features, but I still absolutely love my car!

Ford Fusion 2009 Great Car!

The Ford Fusion is a great car to own. It is comfortable and has a smooth ride. Electric seats and windows always work with ease. The back seat has the car seat hooks to keep your little one safe and secure. The back seats lay down if you have something large that you need to put in the trunk, it can just slide up into he back of the car. I have never had any trouble with my Ford Fusion, it always runs great and starts right up even in the coldest temperatures!

Pros and Cons of 2009 Ford Fusion
The Ford Fusion is very nice vehicle. It can accommodate up to 5 people, but is most comfortable with up to 4 people. I would not recommend this car for very tall people. The ford brand has a lot of recalls, however, Ford will replace them for free so that is not an issue. This is a great vehicle for a new driver and I would highly recommend.

I drive a 09' Ford Fusion sel. It comes with heated leather seats. It has a tire pressure gauge, among many other features on the dash. The only issue I seem to be having is the ac unit makes a little noise when I turn on the ac, possible the belt. Other then the small issue I have no other problems with my ford.

Great car for the money not any major repairs in 5 years and have 200, 000 miles.
Love that it is dependable car. I never worry when going on long trips. It has a Microsoft package 5 CD disk player Bluetooth and can text. The insides of the car are made cheap but still all and all it's a great car for the money. It does have to have a battery about every 2 years. We just had to change the water outlet. But have never had to do anything major to the car.

The little car that could! Old Car that is still running!
There are a lot of good qualities to my ford fusion. I like that it is medium size and low to the ground. I am short and it makes getting in and out of the car easier. I like that I can adjust the seats electronically. The seats are cushion and comfortable. I am not a fan of leather seats, especially in the summer time in Florida. The car runs smooth and easy to use. I bought this car 7 years ago used. It has lasted a very long time. I am just now starting to have problems with it. There is a leak in the power stealing. You need to fill it with fluid daily or it will not work. We are waiting to get it fixed. It also does not drive very quiet anymore since we have replaced the engine. I do not know if this is an issue with the car or mechanic error. The car also burns oil and can have an odor as a result. We are planning to buy a new car soon, however, I have been so happy with my fusion and it has lasted for a long time, that I am hesitant to get rid of it.

2009 Ford Fusion 111,000 miles a blast to travel in and drive
I love how my car handles on the highway! Great gas mileage! I had a problem with the shift cylinder in the transmission but we were able to order the part and fix it ourselves. I have just crossed over 111, ,000 miles and I hope to keep driving this car for years! It's in great shape with paint etc. The rubber that is around the front windshield is coming off and this car has been garage kept since I bought it new.

Reliable 2009 ford fusion.
I have had no issues with my 2009 ford fusion outside of general maintenance and upkeep. I have had the car for almost 10 years and it has been running smoothly for that time. The only wear and tear are some interior issues, but those are related to the driver's side due to me being a large person and adding stress to the seat and drivers side door. That is simply related to me, not the car. I have gotten consistent good gas mileage for the entire time of owning the car, with the range being 20-26 miles a gallon.

2009 Ford Fusion is a must.
I bought my Ford Fusion brand new in 2009. In the nine years that I have owned it, I have only had to have it worked on twice: first was a computer malfunction, and the second was a part related to the a/c and heater. Other than that the car hasn't given me any problems. If not for the fact that I would like my next new vehicle to have 4 wheel drive, I would not mind getting another Fusion for my next vehicle.

Features I look for in an vehicle.
I am the proud owner of a Ford Fusion, it is a 4 cyl. , but you would think it was a v8. The gear ratio is fantastic. I have owned 4 cyl. Cars in the past and they have been very sluggish especially on hills. This Fusion will take you up a hill at whatever speed you desire. It is also very good on gas, which to me is an important feature.

Incredibly Reliable Economic Car

Great Ford Fusion to have and to keep!
My Ford Fusion is amazing. I had this car for over 10 years and there has not been anything wrong. To be honest the air temperature went crazy only one month ago and it was an easy quick fix that wasn't too pricey. I kept my car in good shape for this many years. Oil change, tire rotation, and keeping it cleaned and checked on was the best thing I could ever do for my Ford Fusion. The mileage is pretty good on gas also. I actually love this car and wouldn't trade it for nothing else!

My review and opinion on my 2009 Ford Fusion.
The only problem with the Fusion is that I bought the car in 2010 and I have had to replace the rear brake drums three times. I was told that is common in the 2009 Ford Fusions. I got great gas mileage, very good pick up and the car was impeccable in winter driving on snowy roads. The heater and a/c took only seconds to warm and cool the car. Defrost and rear defog worked instantly. Very comfortable seating and plenty of legroom in the front and back.

It is a veteran. Short commutes and long road trips-it gets me where I am going.
To clarify, the car is secondhand, a loan from my parents. It has over 100k miles on it, but it just feels like once a month there's a serious issue with it. I have frequent engine troubles (there have been at least 3 occasions where the car just wouldn't start because of the cold or the heat or the rain or just because), I have been ignoring misalignment problems for a little while, and no matter how often I replace the back left tire, it always loses air pressure quickly (as in I have to fill it with air before work almost every day). The mileage is okay, and it has some great features like the Bluetooth sync and the media controls on the steering wheel. I think most of these problems are due to "old age" really, but dealing with all these recurring small problems on a regular basis is quite annoying, tedious, expensive, and distracting.

I LOVE the gas mileage it gets. I also live that it can seat 5 people comfortably with plenty of legroom in the front and rear. The trunk space is also a nice feature. However, the things I don't like include The ceiling is coming unattached on the rear passenger side, the front cup holders are too small for 2 large drinks which are a necessity when traveling!

Good vehicle for the money.
Very reliable, drives very well in the snow. Seats are not very comfortable and the headrests push your head forward too much. The car handles very well on turns and swerving if need be. I like the sync feature and hands free phone/Bluetooth. Very easy to use and I like the controls on the steering wheel. I wish the clock was a digital instead of an analog but it looks good. I wish there was a backup camera. I also wish the heater would automatically turn on when the car starts but that does not happen.

Need to get a larger vehicle that is easier to get in and out of. Otherwise, like driving it since it is so much smaller than driving a truck.

Bigger car for taller people.
No complaints. No issues. Good gas mileage. I am a tall person so there is enough room. Anything smaller I would be uncomfortable.

Comfortable, spacious, easy riding, gas economy is good
I feel like it is spacious inside. It is a very smooth riding car. It is very good on gas in city and on highway. The air conditioning is powerful, it has a CD player, aux cord connection. It has multi level radio channel you can save. It is one of the more favorable Cars I have had.

Planning to purchase a 2009 Ford fusion here are some quick observations.
The car is reliable, and handles well. Fusion is known for the ac evap temp sensor failing. The cabin is too noisy. The car doesn't ride smoothly, it is a bit rough for my liking. And it doesn't sit very comfortably either. Car design is nice. Trunk is roomy.

No problems I've never had a problem with my car just regular maintenance It rides smoothly and has a lot of legroom for me the driver and also the passengers The air conditioner still works amazingly well after all these years as does the radio

Powerful, reliable, sleek 2009 Ford Fusion.
I own a 2009 black Ford Fusion, and I would highly recommend this car for everyone! This car comfortably fits four to five people with maximum back and neck support for long trips. I have had to do minimum maintenance to keep this car in good condition, which makes traveling for work a breeze. The engine is quite powerful, however easy to handle without the jerky distractions of larger vehicles when shifting gears or stopping however abruptly. The only issue I have with the vehicle whatsoever is that in this model it was optional to have an auxiliary port and mine is missing this feature, which means I cannot listen to music on Spotify through my car speakers. The speakers themselves though give a great surround sound experience which means I can listen to the radio quite enjoyably.

Gas mileage isn't something to write home about, but well taken care of it does last really long time.
I love the sparkly black paint of my car and the space. I would love if it had touch screen radio or in car navigation screen. Better gas mileage without being a hybrid would be great.

Ford Fusion reliability and comfort review.
This vehicle is very reliable. I have taken very good care of it. Oil change every 3-5 thousand miles. I have the sell model so the leather seats are very comfortable. Performance is not the best because it only has a 4 cylinder but it gets the job done. It also has a sunroof which is very nice.

I hate it very much. I only love her because she is my first car.
Tired wear down really bad. I have taken my car to get it fixed way too many times. Airbags have been recalled. Rusted super easily and I really cannot stand how the car sounds. I have taken it in and people are stumped about what is wrong. Honestly if this hadn't been my first car and wasn't passed down to me than I probably wouldn't have bought it.

It has practically everything a mother would want in a vehicle.
I own a 2009 ford fusion. Four doors: need with car seats and kids. The key fob is nice to have. There's a lot of space in the back seat and in the trunk. I love the partial leather seats in my car. I love that I can hook up my phone to it. It's also compatible with Sirius XM. I love the space. I can fit three car seats comfortably in there. I've never had any issues. It's always been reliable for me. I've only had to change my tires and an oil change. I have kids so I needed a vehicle that could get me and my kids to where we needed to go safely without any problems and this car does it for us. I would buy this car again in a heartbeat.

Great car except for exhaust issues
Great car. Had it for almost 6 yrs. Only problems I've had are low tire pressure gage had to be replaced and the exhaust system has been giving me problem
