2013 Ford Fusion Merlot [ burgundy] in color is a great, reliable, safe car
2013 Ford Fusion SE
I think over all the 2013 Ford Fusion is an excellent car of choice. I have 50,000 miles on mine and have had it for 5 years now and have not had any problems with it. I have gotten in a front end collision with it and I will tell you that the car saved me. It held up under the impact. I was amazed at the minimal damage my car took. If that would have been a plastic car it would have been totaled, however the Ford Fusion is metal and held. Up under pressure. I did have about 5,000 dollars in damages it that is a long way from totaling a 35,000 dollar car. It has also had some recalls that the dealer has taken care of for me right away. However, I did not have any problems with the recall areas the put the new parts in anyway. I have the larger motor in my car the 2.5 liter and I get about 30 miles a gallon on the road and about 26 in town so if you are looking for fuel mileage get the smaller motor. This car is also a beast in the snow I do not even put on snow tires. You just put the traction control on and away you go. I would not try to drive through a two foot drift but it has been in 6 or 8 inches of snow and been ok. You just have to know how to handle a car in the winter. I love the car and would recommend it to anyone. I have the merlot color what I call burgundy and it is a sharp looking car. So buy one you'll love it.
