2004 Ford Taurus: Great car, but a few things to know

2004 Ford Taurus SES

The 2004 Ford Taurus SES was built for long-commuters, sales people, and travel. Overall this vehicle has been reliable. I've had it since 2007, as the second owner. The CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR went bad TWICE; the transmission was thought to be a problem, but it was a component connecting into the transmission; the plugs need changed regularly (especially after 100K Mark); Rust is definitely something to watch out for, some cars have hidden rust under the car, so ensure your mechanic checks that out before purchasing.

Comfortable sedan, for around town. Able to seat 6, and plenty of room for cargo

2004 Ford Taurus SES

My car is very reliable. I have not had many problems with it, and what problems I have had, have not been major. It is a little bigger and heavier compared to sedan cars they make currently. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't pick up quickly when I hit the gas. It takes a little bit, before it starts moving. However, overall it is a good reliable car.

It's a decent car, will get you to where you want to go, great take off!

2004 Ford Taurus SES

runs good, except for converter is going bad. Rides smooth, handles great! Take off is excellent, gas mileage is not good. It has 200,000 miles on it, which almost kept me from buying it, but the dealership, threw in new tires and a oil change. Still runs good, except for the oxygen sensors and Cadillac converter.

Ford Taurus: simple and reliable

2004 Ford Taurus SES

I like my Ford Taurus. It's cozy. Does a good job of handling heavy usage and is decent on gas. If you're looking for a vehicle that can keep you going without being too expensive, I fully recommend it. I'm not much a of a car person but I have never had any issues with this car that I couldn't handle

The ford Taurus;a great car

2004 Ford Taurus SES

It's a good reliable vehicle. Its older but still going strong. They are very reliable vehicles, and last a long time. This is the third one I've had, and it can withstand lots of abuse and keep going. I recommend this vehicle, and the newer ones are even better.

Great car for a day in and day out driver

2004 Ford Taurus SES

It is a wonderful car. Easy to see out of. Easy to work on parts are cheap. Never let me down. Gets good mileage. Great stereo. A large trunk and good leg room both front and back. Cheap to insure. quiet and smooth ride. AC works great and even has a moonroof.

My vehicle is practically perfect.

2004 Ford Taurus SES

My vehicle has low miles and runs perfectly. Its is also in very nice cosmetic condition and looks almost like new. It is also pretty good on gas even though it is a larger vehicle with a fairly big engine. I hope to keep it for the rest of my life.
