Good car
First time I've owned a car loaded up with this many options. The only options my limited does not have are the sunroof and AWD. 7 years old and the leather looks great and all the options work. Mileage is 24.5 with every tank of mixed driving. About the only issue is I put cheaper tires on it and overnight they develope flat spots and the car vibrates for a while going down the road until the tires "round out". Nice big comfortable car with good power for highway cruising.

The best car I have ever owned.
I absolutely love my 2014 ford Taurus! It is great on gas and is very roomy for a sedan. I drove it 20 hours to Texas and it was a comfortable and smooth ride. I have had no mechanical issues as of yet, so I cannot complain. Very reliable vehicle and gas everything you need in a car.
accountCircle Jane L
The most reliable car we ever owned! Perfect for a small family.
It is very reliable and we haven’t had to do much maintenance. It has 100,000 miles on it and it still works as good as new. We’ve driven it through rain, snow, and across state lines. It has never given us unusual trouble. We have had to replace the battery once or twice, we replaced the tires twice, and we had to get the brakes fixed once.

Drives like a luxury car.
I like that is big and spacious. Even though it is a big car it isn't overly big. I like the design that it has.

Cant even hear it running.
I have had a great experience with this car. The only thing I have had to do is change oil brakes and tires. It has been a very good car with only minor but I wish the seats heated up. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone. Young or old. Single or family. Rides smooth.

Comforts of my car, and the interior.
I love the back up camera and the heated seats. Drives smoothly and seats are comfortable. Brakes have a button to make them closer or further from you. The steering wheel adjust to how you want or need it to be. I like it pointed down a bit so I can see over the wheel because I am short.

It very comfortable and has a nice ride. The back seat is roomy and has read a/c vents
The seats are comfortable and heated. It has an excellent engine and suspension.A SiriusXM radio also

Dependable low maintenance costs will last a long time can be fixed other than ford dealerships on most cases. Rust in the lower extremities the big downer
I like the front wheel drive and the fact it is reliable. I like the mid size but could be a little higher for ease of getting in and out. This is my 3rd Taurus

The driver's side of the car is very uncomfortable and there are other cars that are as large but much more comfortable.
The car seating is extremely uncomfortable. There are issues with sight with the side mirrors. And there is minimum room for passengers in the back seat.

The unreliable 2014 ford Taurus.
I have owned this vehicle for roughly 4 months now and for the first 3 months it was great. However, I am not having issues with the transmission and also issues with the spark plugs misfiring. So as far as reliability it is not the best. I love all the features within the car such as the touch screen radio and Bluetooth. The car is also very comfortable and the seats clean relatively easily.
accountCircle Sidney K
I enjoy the fact that this car has a lot of room.
I have had a few problems with my vehicle, I had my power steering go out, my fuel pump fail, I needed an alignment done less than 2 years into having it, along with wheel bearings. When I bought the car I had noticed that my wiper fluid wouldn’t work, and half of my dashboard didn't work. Luckily I had a warranty cover all of that work otherwise it would’ve been far more expensive than it was at the time. Honestly, my next car will still be a ford, but a newer model, an SUV, and hopefully less problems.

Good vehicle that has good gas mileage and roomy, but repairs are expensive.
Good vehicle. Drives smooth, handles great. Gas mileage is good. Just do not ever have to replace the water pump because it's inside the timing case and it will cost you $1000 or more. Huge trunk capacity. The back seating area is spacious. Lots of room in the interior.
accountCircle Sheila C
Fine to drive but probably not something I would buy again.
The car is very comfortable however the gas mileage is not what they claim and the way the car is put together allows dust to enter the inside. Also they started out with a maintenance program on the car and after 4 years they discontinued it which is very inconvenient.
accountCircle Sheila E
Its most important factors.
Brakes are important, it's very easy to ruin your brakes. Tires should always be at the right psi and tread should be good. Oil changes should be done regularly. If not check it can cause serious engine problems. My car has a recalled piece, without the piece my car will not start. When buying a car do your research.

Pros and cons of the ford Taurus.
The ford is a very good car to have however I think it is not doing well because of how old it is but it honestly is a very good car. It has made multiple trips to Florida and back to Texas so I really cannot complain. It has great space in the back seat and tons of room for your legs to stretch out.

Lessons about purchasing a car.
This is a solid, nice sedan if you are looking for a larger car that is not an SUV. It is a more expensive to insure and take care of than I had realized and so it is turning out to be more expensive than I can afford. It is only the second car I have ever purchased and so I feel like I learned a lot about the process by buying this car without putting enough thought into it.

Ford Taurus, 2014. Black, all wheel drive! Spacious.
My car is seriously great if you have kids. It is spacious and accommodating. It has heated and cooled seats along with a heated steering wheel! Everything is touch screen. Also has the roomiest trunk! I have remote entry and start. It comes in handy, especially in the winter. I would honestly recommend my car to anyone who needs one!

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Dorothy M.

It is rooney enough for a family or a long legged person, it has enough room also for sports equipment or for a women's bags on a trip. It has plenty of get up and go so it would be good on a freeway, it's also very pretty.

likeFilled Sierra L.

Good gas mileage. Comfortable. Drives really well. Nice interior. Back up camera, heated seats, folding back seats to expand the trunk and make it more roomy. Very spacious back seat fitted for adult to sit in. Automatic seats and drivers window. Has child lock on childs and back doors. Remote start on factory key.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Dorothy M.

None that I have found so far. It is expensive to have work done on it. Dings on the body show up a little more than other cars and it needs washed quite a bit because of the color. But otherwise it is a very good car, It is pretty pricey also.

dislikeFilled Sierra L.

Only the drivers window is automatic. No cooling seats or sunroof. A few mechanical issues, but ford has always been efficient and respectful about fixing them. It would be more convenient if it had an upgraded system, but that also comes with the year.
