Great for travel great for entering and exiting for impaired drivers.
The ford transit connect is roomy, comfortable and very good on gas. Meets all our family needs especially for my handicapped wife. Recently took a trip to north Carolina averaged over 30 mpg. Handled well on hills and curves while car was loaded from front to back, also had carrier on back hauling my wife's handicap scooter.

Its build for niche and it falls it fully and gas mileage is great.
My transit van is configured with three rows of seats. It was also purchased with the idea of my son, who will turn thirty six year old this year, could haul his trike around. So after work he could ride and help him lose weight. As for gas mileage its great. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone needing space and comfort.

No issues
I currently lost my 2017 transit connect in hurricane Michael. Since my lost i ordered another transit connect. I went with a 2019 due to the dependability of my 2017. Once again delivery of my van was exciting. So far ive no issues or complaints. No strange noises, squeaking sounds, or other. The 2019 is sound. Be prepared for great changes, no cd player, new manifold setup n motor specs, better n new suspension set both front n rear, front end styling and more. Take the chance as i did n buy one or test drive Your neighbors!

The transit connect is a minivan that is fun.
Overall the transit connect is a very good car. I have put 27,000 miles on it with 0 issues, though I did need to replace the back brakes a few days ago which is a little early to me, but still no big deal. Comfortable for 6 passengers and with the rear seats removed tons of cargo room. The gas mileage is fantastic for a vehicle this size. The engine size is admittedly an issue when you are trying to quickly gain speed, but besides that it is fine, can easily do 80+ on the highway with little effort. All in all I'd buy it again.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Amanda M.

I really like the Ford Transit. It has large windows that are great for panoramic views while traveling. The high ceilings offer plenty of headroom and some additional storage. The best part is the gas efficiency is wonderful.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Amanda M.

While the engine is adequate, I do not think the power matches the size of the vehicle. It is a van, but it feels like it has the engine of a small car. Not much pick-up and sounds a little loud when accelerating. I would also add additional cup holders for the middle passenger row.
