One thing that is most important about my car is that it is a good and reliable car.
I like that it is a bigger vehicle for my family. I like the quality of the car. I like that it has a DVD player for my kid.

Spacious, luxurious & reliable.
I haven't had any problems with this vehicle yet aside from regular maintenance. It is very reliable, spacious, & luxurious. For being a large vehicle I feel it has been pretty decent on gas mileage as well. The features I have include heated/cooled seats, a DVD player & overhead TV in the back, GPS, & Bluetooth connection for hands free phone calls.
accountCircle Darren C
Very spacious cabin for passengers or to haul large items.
The captain's chairs really make it easy for the older kids to get to the back seat without having to climb over the second row. All the seats fold down easily which makes it very spacious to haul large items. The luggage rack on the roof made it very easy to attach extra storage when going on a trip or camping.

Great for a family I love it my kids love it get the job done.
The GMC Acadia is a pretty good SUV. It is easy to drive, it provides a cushioned ride, and you have the choice of three engine options, through the base four-cylinder is rather uninspiring. Inside, the Acadia has comfortable seats and a user-friendly infotainment system. The Acadia has some notable flaws as well.
accountCircle Adrian E
It drives smoothly and I love it so much and I just got it.
My car is pretty cool. It has 2 sunroofs and it does not have any problems. The only thing that is not that great is that only the front sunroof opens and the other does not. But I do not mind this. I have a radio and an awesome aux cord that I can hook up my phone to it and jam out. I have a back camera when I am backing up on my mirror to the back seats I think it is cool and unique. I love my Acadia!

Luxurious ride for less money
I love my vehicle because of the 7 person capacity. It is very comfortable seating( front & 2nd row) for oversize people. The middle row is adjustable. The ride is smooth & it has features like a luxury car. Front & rear air, double sunroof, back-up camera in mirror, Dvd entertainment pkg, leather pkg. It is a midsize suv & I love it.

Beautiful features and very reliable SUV.
Never had a problem with my car. The performance of my vehicle is amazing! Drives so smooth and goes faster than you would think for an SUV.Very reliable have taken on vacation multiple times. Third row seating and seating us very comfortable for long rides especially. Also has a TV in the back to watch movies. Has a amazing radio, hatch all back seats lay down if need to.

Will be buying an Acadia again and again!
I love me GMC Acadia! Haven't had any major problems for it being used and 9 years old. I will definitely be buying another one once this one has given her all! The only thing that could be better is more trunk space when the 3rd row is up. But that will get better once I do not have to lug a large double stroller around!

Great space if it ran correctly built for multiple kids.
I bought a 2010 GMC Acadia with 120,000 miles on it. 3 rows and a built in DVD player. After buying it we starting having issues immediately. We've had it at 4 mechanic shops and still aren't sure what is wrong the catalytic converter was completely clogged and had to be replaced. Had to have 3 different people repair the battery cables because of where they are located and how they are made. The vehicle itself is a lot of technical issues as well as mechanical, but as for the space and the way the interior is built it is a great type of car.
accountCircle Tonya H
The size of the vehicle is very roomy, but breakdowns occur just way too often.
It is very difficult to access certain things under the hood such as the battery, oil, or headlights. The battery is located under one of the back passenger seats and you have to take the front tires off to change the headlights. The transmission is not very reliable either.

GMC Acadia 2010 good review.
Great car. Only have done routine maintenance on the vehicle no major problems. Fits the entire family. Gas mileage is average could be better. XM radio is a huge plus. Leather seats are nice. Seats fold down to haul big cargo. Overall a good reliable car.

It is a spacious vehicle that rides quietly but has had too many issues for me to purchase again. While having less than 200k miles
Rides really well when it is working properly. This month will be the first month this year that I have not had to fix something. Air conditioning has gone bad twice in the first 2 years I owned it amassing 2000$ worth of repairs. A purge valve had to be replaced and I was told my engine has a timing miss that will cost around 2000$

It's very comfortable and practical
Enjoy the comfort and size. No complaints

Could be a nice car, but the loss of sound is annoying.
I love the seats! They're so comfortable. It is a relatively nice vehicle, but we should have done more research before we purchased it since they have mechanical issues. We also found that we lose all sounds in the vehicle when a certain sensor gets moisture in it.

Seats 7 but looks like a keep.
We have replaced the engine 3 times within the first 6 months. The car was also designed in a way that makes you have to lift the car to do any basic maintenance such as changing headlights, oil ect. The car itself is cute, functional and roomy. The overall maintenance is not worth the issues that the car brings.

In summarize is a good vehicle.
Many problem with the sensors, the sensors are very sensitive and activate very easily even without any problem but is a car very comfortably, gasoline consumption is high but not exaggerated, in total the car is a good purchase. I would buy another one.

Versatile people and cargo hauler that comes with all the comforts.
Great responsiveness, plenty of room for both people and things, easy to park and drive, fuel efficiency is not great not is ok for the size, and overall it is very comfortable to drive. The early problems that did occur were readily taken care of by the dealership. There were a couple of recalls and those were also readily taken care of by the dealership.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Morgan C.

The vehicle is roomy and has ample storage even when all of the seats are in use. There is a large trunk area and the back seats fold down for even more space. The captains chairs make it easy to get into the back.

likeFilled Brittney R.

Cargo space. Passenger leg space. Front seat maneuverability. Smooth drive. Easy maintenance. Back seat convertibility. Comfortable. Tire pressure sensors. Control panel. Easy to clean interior. Nice windshield slope.

likeFilled Lilli C.

I love the airbags they are great quality and supported me during my crash. The sound while playing music is also amazing. This car is super spacious and has plenty of room for me and my family. I love the heated seats also.

likeFilled Jennifer B.

I love the dual sunroofs. I like the remote start and automatic windows and doors. I love the way it drives, the dependably. I like the Bluetooth capability. It is a smooth ride and roomy inside. I like the 3rd row seating.

likeFilled Melissa M.

Love the leather, heated and cooled seats. The moon and sunroof are a must. Love the DVD/sound system. While it's pretty good on gas it could be better. Also the knobs on the radio in the back fall off constantly, also the ac controls are scratching and fading (still functional just not so pretty).

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Morgan C.

The vehicle has had endless maintenance issues. So many things have broken on it, in the engine area but also with the electrical. A seat broke and would never reach into place so it just slides around.

dislikeFilled Brittney R.

Tire pressure sensor has gone bad on the front right. The bucket seats do not have as much space width wise as I have seen in other vehicles making it harder for bigger people to sit comfortably. The side mirrors are ridiculously expensive to replace.

dislikeFilled Lilli C.

The biggest con for me myself is that I am in the smaller side and could barely see over the dashboard. I would also have liked it better is the back seats had more adjustable positions. There is not much to hate.

dislikeFilled Jennifer B.

I do not like that the 3rd row is barely accessible through the door. And there is not a middle seatbelt in the back; only a car seat strap. The attached rugs are also hard to maneuver in and out and reattach to sweep and clean the car.

dislikeFilled Melissa M.

The ac and radio controls are fading and scratchy. The radio knobs in the back fall off all the time. While good on gas it could be better. Also the cooled seating is amazing but for some reason the driver's seat vibrates when it is on.

Is The 2010 GMC Acadia A Good Car?

Yes. It has plenty of room and is comfortable. Gas mileage is good on the highway. The back seats fold down which is good for storage.
William C.
Yes I live this vehicle, it rides smooth and is spacious. It looks small from the outside though. I may upgrade in the near future.
Chris G.
Yes it is. I love how much room it has and the bucket seats in the second row. It is a great family car. It’s been reliable and needed minimal work.
Ashley R.
Yes my vehicle is very good. It is a good size, very safe so cheap on insurance and reliable. I love my Acadia.
Joe V.
Yes and no I love the way it looks and the features but we have had tons of mechanical problems with it
Duane B.

How Reliable Is The 2010 GMC Acadia?

No major problems yet. Currently the tire sensor light is on and stays on even though there are no problems with tire pressure. It is a rear wheel drive so that is a problem for snow and mud.
William C.
It's very reliable so far. I haven't had any problems mechanically but it may have an issue with the lights and they are hard to get to.
Alicia M.
It is reliable. The tire monitor system has gone out on one of the tires. However, the timing chain was fixed just before we purchased it.
Mindy B.
It is all wheel drive rather than four wheel drive making it tough to get around in the winter. Otherwise it is pretty reliable
Elizabeth R.
Not reliable at all! Lots of problems. Stop engine light comes on all the time for no reason. Car wouldn't start no one could figure out why.
Kelly L.

Is The 2010 GMC Acadia A Good Value?

I paid 7,500 for it used. It is a good value because of the size, safety, and comfort. Gas mileage for local driving is not good.
William C.
Around 10,000 or more for more equipped with more features it would cost more. I think it's a great value for the type of SUV.
Janet B.
We pay $400 per month with a 5 year loan. We thought the price was fair when we bought it. It’s been a good value thus far.
Nicholas C.
10,000 dollars, yeah it’s. A pretty well priced vehicle for what you get. It is a good price for what you get and is cheap in insurance.
