Tough built
Truck runs good got over 200,000 miles on it all I've done is change the oil. Did let my son drive at one time and he went out in the mud the front right CV joint or four-wheel drive shaft took a beating and had to replace it that's all. Part was about $79 and took me about three hours to replace it other than that it a very sound strong good running truck

Old and reliable convenience
I like my car a lot, it's just a little older and I would like to get a newer car to get some of the new technology features

This truck is reliable and GMC built their trucks to last
I like the number of passengers it can hold. I like the fact that its a truck and i can put load large items in it . I wish there was more storage capacity in the cab.

Good bones but a little rough around the edges
Runs good inside but many small things break when using this like the gas cover. It is easy to maintain and decent on gas for a truck. I would recommend this as a good work truck. The beef is a little short so don't expect to fit anything too long. The max towing capacity is 4000 which is pretty handy.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Veronica R.

It is very fun to drive and durable. Had no problems at all with this truck. It is a 4 buy 4 and get around in the snow and ice amazingly. Has a great sound system also. Has a small back seat I use for groceries.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Veronica R.

The cons are the gas gage quit working and it will cost over 2000 dollars to get it fixed. Also Goodyear quit making the tires it can with so I had to buy a different brand of tires. That made me kind of made.

Is The 2007 GMC Canyon A Good Car?

Yes, except for the fact that our truck only turns on when it wants to. We've taken it to several mechanics but no one can figure out why.
Angie T.

How Reliable Is The 2007 GMC Canyon?

Not 100% reliable. It only turns on when it wants to. If it does not turn on, we wait about 15 mins before we try again and it usually works.
Angie T.

Is The 2007 GMC Canyon A Good Value?

It costed us $11,000 (used). I would think it is a good value if it turned on like it is supposed to.
