Nice white GMC Envoy, travel ride.
Excellent condition, love my vehicle, runs nice, I like it. Easy fix when there's a problem. Just take it to a shop, does not drink that much gas, 30$ too full it up. Always get it check every once a month, more of a town car then a city vehicle, fits 5 people tons of storage in the back.

My awesome Horse mobile review
Very reliable car. I love the heated seats. It has space needed for my pets and hobbies. We've had normal mechanical maintenance needed for an older car. I love the leather seats and automatic remote start especially in the winter. I wish the cup holders were in a place where they don't interfere with the gear shift

A very family SUV, plenty of room for everyone!
We have used our GMC for travelling, fishing, and our around town car. It is pretty good on gas. Also very roomy, back seat is very comfortable. Also of course back seat folds down in case you need extra space! That back is pretty good size! It pulls a little gheenoe and we have never had problems with that!

It is the last year the envoy was made on a truck frame.
I like the size of the back storage area. I like the engine size. I like how easy it is to change to 4 wheel drive.
accountCircle Donald W
It's smaller than the Acadia, but still handles very well. The 18 tires help
Nice versatile vehicle. Smooth ride and plenty of cargo room

The electrical system is not like other cars.
My GMC Envoy has problems with the transmission, and the ignition. Sometimes I have to turn the key four or five times before it will start and sometimes the inside lights flicker on and off for no reason. I've checked the fuses, battery, spark plugs, had the computer tested and nothing was found.

Wiper issues
Almost every person I know in town and my self who have a Envoy, have issues with the rear wiper system. Gmc won't issue a recall.

That it's a comfortable ride with tons of cargo space.
This vehicle is a good basic SUV. It's not luxury by any means, but it's a good car to get from point a to point b and it's got tons of cargo space. The seats are also very comfortable.
accountCircle Stanley T
It is very dependent with low gas mileage and very low maintenance i can actually do most maintenance myself
I like the good gas mileage but I do not like the size of the car
accountCircle Kerby D
It gets the job done. Takes me where i have and need to go.
Too big. Slow. Too old. The car drives pretty decent the gear system is a hassle and no aux

Dependable to no end never leaves you stranded i would buy another
Gmc envoy is very dependable i have never been stranded very comfortable to drive cold ac and all the luxuries i have only one complaint is that the power steering pump cooler keeps going it's expensive and i have had it replaced 2 times but overall dependable and comfortable bad gas mileage also but it's an suv
accountCircle Casey C
It is reliable for the most part.
I like that the vehicle was affordable when I purchased it. I like that it gets me from point a to point b. I did not like the condition that my front seats were in when I purchased my vehicle.

Long term relationship with my GMC envoy.
I love my GMC envoy. It has 160k miles and still runs great. The only issue it has had has been an electrical issue that was determined to be fuse related. After replacement, it is fine. I have found it important to keep good tires on the envoy, otherwise it pulls a little to one side or the other. Great ride, and very useful vehicle. The hatchback is indispensable for times with our grandchildren.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Deb W.

Good ride, and we show 185,000 miles on the odometer. Solid vehicle that has needed very little repair over the years. It is very comfortable and we love the back door for hauling and ease of transport.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Deb W.

Front end alignment has been a problem. We have had to replace tires more often than we should due to the alignment not holding. Also, the front seat area, while comfortable is a little smaller than the Acadia that we loved.

Yes, it has been very dependable, even if it is an old gas guzzler and looks rather beat up. This vehicle has more than paid for itself in the five years I have owned it and has yet, never let me down

We purchased pre-owned certified from a dealer for 12,000 - I don't know what the new price would be.

4,000 the cost was okay for the car that comes with the features but it had some problems as stated before that are a heavy burden to figure out. Especially electrical issues
Sarah C.
I bought it used from a private owner five years ago for $1200, it has paid for itself several times over the years and has cost next to nothing to maintain it as it has had very few mechanical issues
