My 2011 gmc sierra 2500hd is a pretty powerful truck. Great pulling abilities. Almost like you don't have a trailer in tow.
My transmission started slipping around 150,000 miles. Don't believe transmission mechanic if they say nothing big is wrong. Do a fluid change and have them look for metal shavings.

Very reliable. Good work truck. No major issues in seven years of service.
I bought it brand new. Never have had any major issues with it. 140000 miles on it and it runs and drives like its new.

Great truck and does everything I ask.
Does a great job towing! Has needed some repairs but nothing major and it is at 175000 miles and it shows no signs of slowing down. Suspension is a little stiff if you are driving around unloaded but once it has a trailer hooked up it rides great. One of the better vehicles I have ever owned.

Reliable
Yes, I recommend the Sierra 2500 HD. My '07 Ext. Cab, LWB, WT was great. In 98k miles only had to replace a faulty plug wire, she returned about 17mpg highway & 13 city. Traded her for a identical new 2011with Eaton 3:73 gas 6.0. Both trucks pulled a 6k lb trailer daily. As with the '07, only repairs were the wear items. But at 112k miles small problems developed; cracked exhaust manifold, a bent from the factory hydroboost tube rusted & leaked, EVAP box needs replaced, rear carrier cracked, all forward transmission rings lost there friction material, it was a expensive hit, for the last two problems were 9 months apart. This truck has paid for three trucks. Both trucks handle like on rails and nothing rides more confidently down the road. I'll probably keep this truck until I die.

My GMC sierra 2500hd has everything you need in a truck.
I really love my 2011 GMC sierra 2500hd it has everything you need in a truck. It has a lot of room in the cab everybody is very comfortable. It has a sunroof that is nice. The engine is very powerful there is never a time that I do not think the truck lacks power. There is plenty of room in the bed to get whatever you need moved or hauled that this truck can do. It can also pull very good it has the duramax engine with the Allison transmission. Everything works well the radio is nice and loud and the ac is cold. It has heated seats which really helps out.

GMC Sierra (a decent vehicle)
I have only owned this truck for about 2 months now. Took it on a fun vacation with an overhead camper and it ran beautifully. I got around an average of 10mpg which is not ideal, but that's what you get when you have a gas engine in a 3/4 ton truck. Very comfortable ride!

GMC full size pickup is awesome!
I love my truck. It performs exactly the I want it to. It has lots of power. It has a glow-plug issue right now but can be easily fixed with money and time. Does not affect its driving or running. It is a very nice ride for being a full sized truck. Very comfortable that we can take it on a long trip.

2011 GMC 2500 pros and cons.
Awesome workhorse of a truck with great towing capacity; however, there have been several recalls and recurring problems. From glow plugs to the def tank malfunctioning to the truck refusing to hold wiper fluid, the list seems to increase each year. I do not know if this is a standard for these trucks, but I am tired of frequent issues with my own. Unfortunately, few vehicles can compete with how safe I feel driving it and it is towing performance.

Good overall everyday driver!
It is a reliable vehicle. The back seat could be bigger. There isn't a lot of leg room in the back. But, it runs good and it doesn't have any serious issues. I would recommend this vehicle to others. Over all I am very pleased! This vehicle only had normal wear and tear, no major issues.

Good vehicle. Just basic keep ups. The back seat is small.
It is a reliable truck. I havent had to put much money into it just basic work like oil changes and such. I have extended cab. There isn't a lot of room in the back. So, if someone has long legs it is hard to sit behind someone. My window switch has went out. But, other than that overall a good truck.
