2015 GMC Terrain Review: Small SUV With Some Serious Reliability Issues

Alex Showalter
Oct 13, 2022

The 2015 GMC Terrain lasts around 200,000 miles with some serious engine and transmission problems. At $11,975 to $15,925, it’s cheaper than some other SUVs, but not worth the money since it will take a lot to keep it running as it ages.

likeFilled The Good
Passenger room is great throughout the cabin, interior materials are luxurious for its price and the available V6 engine offers more power than the competition.
dislikeFilled The Bad
The 4-cylinder engine feels weak at highway speeds, visibility is poor with the large rear pillars and there are some engine problems.

Is the 2015 GMC Terrain a Good Used SUV?

  • Overall Rating 5/10 – 2015 is a bad year for the GMC Terrain since there are so many engine problems giving it a low overall rating. Owner reviews complain about slow acceleration, expensive repair bills, as well as transmission issues.
  • Interior, Comfort & Cargo 8/10 – Interior materials are luxurious for a compact SUV, the seats are very comfortable, cargo space is also good for an SUV its size.
  • Reliability 4/10 – There are a lot of mechanical problems with the 2015 GMC Terrain. Avoid models from 20102015. Terrain models from 20162022 are more reliable.
  • Performance 7/10 – Performance is average from the 4-cylinder while the optional V6 offers great power for a compact SUV.
  • Safety 7/10 – The 2015 Terrain is reasonably safe, earning 4 out of 5 stars in government crash tests. Standard safety technology includes a rearview camera. Lane departure, forward collision, as well as blind spot warning systems are all optional.
  • Gas Mileage 6/10 – Fuel economy is poor at up to 26 MPG giving 465 miles of range from the 18 gallon tank. Gas costs are $18 higher than average at $244 per month.
  • Value 6/10 – The GMC Terrain offers good luxury for the money, yet the expensive mechanical problems make it a bad value as a used SUV.

It is a great SUV for any size family. I can fold down seats to make more room in the back to haul things too!
I love that the front end is boxy. I like that it has everything I need. I like the back up camera and heated leather seats/mirrors

Stylish for men or women, good gas mileage, plenty of storage.
I have enjoyed my terrain very much. A four door vehicle with a large cargo bay. Four cylinder engine with more power than expected, comfortably seats four, yet seats for 5. Easy access rear hatch, rear seat folds down for more storage. Good gas mileage, and great for commuting.

It is dependable and drives well. The gas mileage is approximately 30 to 32 miles per gallon on the highway. Has good pick up and moves when needed. Has solid safety features
Has heated seats, navigation, bose stereo, power seats, 4cyl but runs great and has good gas mileage

It's very good in the snow! It just drives right over the snow when the roads aren't plowed. Also drives pretty smoothly.
I really like the back up camera. I don't have any major complaints. The Bluetooth can sometimes be annoying doesn't understand what I'm saying, and connecting to listen to music/podcasts on my phone can be finicky.

I love this vehicle! It is very practical with plenty of room. I also like the height of the vehicle. The visibility through the windows is also a huge plus.

It has more head and leg room than a keep or chevy equinox
The Terrain is very comfortable with lots of room for 5 people. It has a very dependable built in navigation system. It is all wheel drive and handles very well in the snow.

I really enjoy the red stitching with the red interior lights.
I have not had any issues. I have a sunroof/ moonroof and leather seats with red stitching. It is very comfortable and had a lot of space for luggage or people. It also hauls smoothly like a small trailer or boat. I have 4 when drive and can shift manually if preferred.

Don't buy
This vehicle is a piece of c**p. I had to replace an engine at 105000 miles and now 10000 miles later im replacing a transmission. My mechanic said these cars should have been recalled because of the engine and transmission. No one will help me of course it not under warranty. Never ever again. My friends transmission on same car started with issues at 50000. DON'T BUY THIS CAR PLEASE

A horrible buy. Not worth the money.
My vehicle is a 4-cylinder and pulls off very slow. I hate the radio controls on the steering wheel, design is really bad. The navigation system is not very clear on the screen. The USB power turns off when the car is off. I will not buy this kind of car again.

Engine blown at 109,000 miles - PCV issues!!!
I live in colder area (Indiana). When the temp drop below 10 degree F the rear main seals will blow out and leak all the oil out of the engine. As you are driving you won't notice this. The first time this happened I caught it in time and pulled over. The second time it happened I locked the engine up. The first time it was covered under warranty...the second time I had to pay for it. $7000 to replace the engine on a 4 year old car. GMC wouldn't even give me a $500 credit. Nothing!!! I also had to replace the windshield wiper assembly. It stopped during a major thunderstorm while I was driving on the freeway in downtown Indianapolis. The dealer didn't cover that fix under warranty and wanted $400 for the parts. I bought the assembly off Amazon for $65 and repaired it myself (thanks online mechanics). This engine will not last the time it states for oil changes. The dashboard system will tell you around 5000 miles to replace your oil. If you don't replace he oil every 3000 miles you will blow the engine like I did. Chassis and car is nice....drive train on the car is poorly built and they know they have this problem and will not fix it. Even the repair guy told me this is a major issue and they had 6 cars in the dealership with the same issue in blowing the main seals. They just limp the car to 100,000 miles so they are no longer responsible. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR !!!!!

Major Motor Issues
No. I wouldnt recommend this vehicle. I purchased brand new. I put a lot of miles on vehicles. Up until this year, it hasn't required any major repairs. Within three weeks- The vehicle required over $5000 worth of repairs due to a MAJOR oil leak and not having any oil period... NO indication that the oil was completely gone or even a drop in oil pressure.

My wife has this car. It makes me wonder how GM is still in business. It's weak, gets horrible mpg,and has the turning radius of a loaded oil tanker! Now at 85k it has stabilitrack warning and it uses oil. Makes me really appreciate owning a Toyota!

Not a toddler family friendly vehicle.
I wish I had gotten the upgraded version. The seats are hot, didn't come with a car starter, my Bluetooth often does not work when it is supposed to. There is no Bluetooth for you music, just your phone. It is not family friendly. With both of my toddlers car seats there is no room for anyone to sit in the middle seat.

Gas mileage is great, air circulation - not so much.
There are no air vents in the back seat. It is uncomfortably hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. I have a toddler who is miserable in the summer while I am freezing in the front. Air does not circulate well in this vehicle. The gas mileage is decent for an SUV though, no complaints there.

What Do Critics Say About the GMC Terrain?

  • Consumer Reports says the Terrain is left in the dust by the competition with very low owner satisfaction scores.
  • Edmunds gives the Terrain a 3.7/5 praising the upscale interior but doesn’t like the loose steering.
  • Kelley Blue Book users rate the Terrain 4/5 enjoying the smooth handling although owners don’t like the poor off-road performance.

What Common Problems Does the 2015 GMC Terrain Have?

Common problems found on the 2015 GMC Terrain include the engine stalling while driving, broken windshield wiper motors, as well as transmission failures. Overall, these problems are more severe than on other compact SUVs from 2015.

The engine stalling while driving is a widespread complaint from owners at around 90,000 miles. There are several sources of the problem including a throttle body failure which costs $500 to replace, valves which are around $1,200 to change, along with expensive gasket issues that are over $2,000.

Broken windshield wiper motors show up on a lot of 2015 Terrain models at around 80,000 miles. The motors simply wear out as the SUV gets older. Changing out the wiper motors is a pretty easy task, costing around $200 per motor depending on local labor rates. If corrosion in the ball joints caused the motor to fail, it is covered by a recall for free.

Transmission failures also show up on some Terrain models in the first 60,000 miles. Owners report shifting hard between gears which ultimately leads to damaged components. Rebuilding the transmission costs around $1,800, while a full replacement can cost over $3,000.

There are 3 minor recalls on the 2015 GMC Terrain, which is better than some other compact SUVs. They cover the wiper motors, headlight reflections, along with air bags modules. Overall, none of the recalls are mechanically serious.

How Long Will the 2015 GMC Terrain Last?

A well-maintained 2015 GMC Terrain may last around 200,000 miles, which is about 100,000 less than the highly-rated Toyota RAV4. Regular annual maintenance costs are slightly higher than some competitors at $485 per year, according to data from Repair Pal.

Since nearly all 2015 GMC Terrain models will have over 100,000 miles buyers should be prepared to replace the A/C evaporator for $1,250, sunroof motor costing $600, and the wheel speed sensors which cost $150 each.

accountCircle Sarah G

My terrain has been a reliable vehicle for the past year and I drive about 80 miles a day too and from work everyday.

accountCircle Kim R

Yes it is reliable. Outside of normal maintenance such as oil changes and such I have not had any issues.

accountCircle Tiffany W

My terrain is very reliable but I have had a squealing noise from the front end since I got the SUV from the dealership. Also, the Bluetooth cannot pick up what you are saying because of the vehicle riding rough and the air noise that comes from everywhere.

accountCircle Amanda P

So far it seems very reliable with only regular maintenance required, like regular oil changes and the occasional brake or whatever that eventually wears out over time.

accountCircle Melissa G

It is reliable and I have had no major problems with it. One negative is that the engine on the sle is not that strong so it is a little difficult trying to accelerate quickly onto the interstate or other instances where you need to speed up quickly.

accountCircle Jazmine R

The GMC terrain sl is absolutely reliable. I have never had a problem with it. I travel with a small child, so dependability is very important!

accountCircle Tyler I

I have not had any problems at this point. Maintenance was reasonably priced. No complaints from this guy.

accountCircle mary b

No problems at all, extremely reliable great on gas mileage, not too expensive to fill up the tank either.

How Is the Technology?

Entertainment technology is very good in the 2015 GMC Terrain compared to other small SUVs with a standard 7-inch touchscreen stereo which also has Bluetooth connectivity. Safety technology is also better than average, featuring a standard backup camera along with OnStar. Optional safety equipment includes lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and blind spot monitoring systems.

Is the 2015 GMC Terrain a Good Value?

No, the 2015 GMC Terrain is a bad value since there are a lot of serious mechanical problems. Blue book prices range from $11,975 to $15,925, making it cheaper than a Honda CR-V or Subaru Forester. When new, the price range was $24,070 to $37,240. Depreciation is worse than average, losing about 15% of its current value per year.

What are the Different Models of the GMC Terrain?

There are three models of the GMC Terrain offered for 2015 from the base SLE all the way up to the luxurious Denali.

SLE is the entry-level model with:

  • 17-Inch Alloy Wheels
  • Cloth Seating
  • Cruise Control

  • 6-Speaker Stereo System

SLT is a step up, adding:

Denali is the most luxurious model which has:

  • An available upgrade is the strong 3.6L V6 which generates 201 horsepower at up to 20 MPG. Performance is good, taking 7 seconds to go from 0-60 MPH. The towing capacity is average at up to 3,500 pounds.

What Colors Does the GMC Terrain Come In?

How Comfortable Is the GMC Terrain?

The 2015 GMC Terrain is a comfortable compact SUV with seating for up to 5 people. Interior materials are luxurious for an SUV in its price range, with comfortable seats as well.

Passenger room is good throughout the cabin with enough leg room for adults in the back seats which are also very comfortable.

How Much Storage Space Does the GMC Terrain Have?

Cargo space is less than other compact SUVs with enough room for 5-6 suitcases behind the back seats, and over 10 with the seats folded flat.

VehicleHistory Image

What Are the Differences Between Years?

The first generation of the GMC Terrain was introduced in 2010 and replaced by the second generation in 2018.

2013: Stronger V6 engine added, new touchscreen stereo, as well as a new Denali model.

2014: New wheel options as well as a chrome package.

2015: 4G WiFi hotspot added.

2016: Blind spot monitoring & lane departure warning added to SLE-2 & SLT models.

2017: Standard 18-Inch alloy wheels, black nightfall appearance package.

2018: Fully redesigned for the 2018 model year with new interior, exterior, and engines.

2019: Upgraded rearview camera, new exterior appearance packages.

How Does the GMC Terrain Compare to the Competition?

The GMC Terrain is worse than other compact SUVs on the market since there are still a lot of expensive mechanical problems.

The Chevy Equinox is another compact SUV which costs around $500 less. Both the GMC Terrain and Chevy Equinox are built on the same platform with more luxurious interior materials in the GMC Terrain. We recommend avoiding both models for 2015 since they suffer from the same mechanical problems.

The Ford Escape is another popular SUV available for about $800 less. Standard technology is better in the Ford Escape, while the seats are more comfortable in the GMC Terrain. We recommend the Ford Escape for 2015 since there are fewer serious problems reported by owners.

Yes, spacious and stylish. I love the head and leg room because my father who is 6 foot 8 inches and myself at 5 foot 11 inches are very tall and we are super comfortable in my terrain.

accountCircle Kim R

Yes, it is AWD and durable in the winter. I have not had any issues so far. It is a roomy SUV for my family.

accountCircle Tiffany W

Yes, it is a good vehicle but it does ride rough. I have had a few issues with it but nothing that would make it a bad vehicle. Also, because of the roughness of the ride your Bluetooth can never understand what you are saying.

Yes, it has a nice quiet ride, comfortable seats, and GMC vehicles are fairly sturdy. Mine also comes with some premium features like heated seats and remote start making it great for places with cold winters.

accountCircle Melissa G

It is a good, basic vehicle. It has enough updated features (big radio/screen, Bluetooth) to make it feel modern, without paying a big price tag.

Not reliable. Will never buy a GMC again.
I bought my 2015 GMC Terrain SLT-1 AWD SUV new in 2015. The first new vehicle I had ever purchased. I had been a GMC owner for a decade and I loved my previous Yukon but was looking for something more fuel efficient for my commute. So as soon as my kids were out of car seats and into boosters I bought the terrain (needed to wait for this since 2 car seats would not fit in the back seat of this car). I bought the upgraded stereo system, Nav system, nicer tires, sunroof, leather seats because if I was going to buy new, I wanted to get exactly what I liked since I planned to drive it for 10 years as I did my Yukon. Unfortunately, the stereo system was nowhere near the quality of the Yukon, the Nav system kept going out - my car kept thinking it was in Detroit but I live in MN. I started having mechanical issues with the car far before I had hoped, having to make repairs while I was still making payments on the loan which didn't sit well. At one point a few years ago my car started to make ticking noises, rattle and stall at stop lights. I soon discovered this was because I was very low on oil. Once filled again it ran normally but only weeks later the issue returned. Again, I was low on oil. Several quarts low in only a couple of weeks. I contacted a dealer and they did an oil consumption study where I went in weekly to have them check the oil. They determined that the consumption was acceptable and within their standards. That was the very moment that I decided that I would never buy a GMC again. What they found acceptable certainly wasn't to me and I did not respect a company that would have such low standards for their products. But, that didn't mean I was ready to replace it. It wasn't even paid off yet and I couldn't start a new loan. So I have continued to limp it along these last few years. Oil consumption continued to get worse. Right now, I am adding 2 quarts per week. I continued to make mechanical repairs over the last couple of years to keep it running. Jump to 2 months ago - I was having performance issues where the car would not accelerate at an acceptable rate. Our mechanic found the catalytic converter was clogged - probably from all that oil that was being spit right out the exhaust. I had that replaced, plugs changed, tires changed, etc. Performance remained poor so it was brought back in and found that the second catalytic converter was also clogged. At this point I'm irritated at my own decisions to keep fixing it since I have been dumping enough money in repairs and oil into this thing that it would have equaled a newer car loan. But, wanted to try to make use of the money I just put into the tires and repairs so fixed the secondary as well to try to get some of that value out. Now jump to 2 days ago. I turned my car on after work and had the dash light up like a Christmas tree. The car still ran and I wasn't going to leave myself stranded in the cities (Minneapolis is not the safest place to be stranded these days) so I drove it 45 minutes home losing power along the way. Upon getting close to home the engine started running worse and felt as if it would stall and not restart if I came to a stop, so I proceeded to avoid all stop lights and coast home, hazards running. Brought it right to the mechanic and told him it feels like I am running on 1 cylinder (obviously exaggerating). He confirmed 1 cylinder is out, engine is dead. Yes, technically this could be fixed but it feels like the transmission is slipping as well so I have to cut my losses at this point. It's a shame since the body is in perfect condition and the tires are new, but it is mechanically junk. Moral of the story, I am an idiot. I acknowledge that. Just getting the word out so that others do not make the same bad purchases that I did. I had a co-worker ask me what I felt about my Terrain since he was considering buying a used one for his teen. I thought if people are out there considering buying this car used I want to make sure that these reviews are out there to find so that they can make educated decisions. On to a different brand...

There are no problems at this time. The tires are great in the snow and rain conditions. The windows defrost quickly when needed in bad winter weather. The seats hear quickly when needed, which comes in handy. I love the smoothness of the car, and everyone loves it.

Very good on gas. Was used for an AAU family so we traveled around most of the Midwest in that car and it never gave us issues. If you keep up with the oil changes and maintenance you should be able to keep that car until you are ready to get a new one.

My GMC drive so smooth and it is good on the road truck and it has a lot of space for kids and bags. It has touch screen heated seats, mirrors and it does not take long for it to get warm in the winter. In the summertime the air is very good with a wonderful sunroof just in case you do not want the air on.

Owning a 2015 GMC terrain in 2020.
The only issue I have is a creaking noise in the back of the trunk, but it is not a bother. Other than that one noise, it drives smooth, accelerates fast, a lot of room for friend/family trips. A great car overall! I only wish I got it in a different color.

Great reliable SUV without the big SUV feel.
I really like this car. It is a super comfortable and decent sized vehicle. It does not feel like you are driving a big tank but still has a big enough off the ground feel. I have a 4 cylinder engine that runs really quiet. The only thing I really do not like is there is it does not have great acceleration and groceries seem to slide around in the trunk very easily and can be fairly noisy and messy.

Great for extensive traveling.
I haven't had many problems with this vehicle. Sometimes, the screen in the car will not work, therefore my music turns off and it has to reboot itself. I took it in to get serviced and ever since it is worked just fine! I think it is a very comfortable vehicle, I have put many miles on it traveling from college out of state. I can adjust the seats and they are very comfortable when traveling for long periods of time. I have had some recent problems where my service engine button lights up, then it does not. I will be taking it in but otherwise this car is extremely reliable and pretty good on gas.

GMC 2015 review excellent 4wd and large trunk space.
Since purchase 2 years ago, check engine light comes on often. Have not had any major issues yet, but have had a small valve come loose 3x resulting in my car shutting off while in park. I've heard these cars have terrible engines that gum up easily, so regular fuel injections are necessary and using premium gas is helpful as well, to keep this SUV going.

Car is very reliable and great in the snow. Perfect for someone who lives in hilly areas. Needs better gas mileage. That is pretty much my only complaint. Other than that I enjoy it. It is very spacious as well as reliable. It is a great family car and wonderful for having kids in sports. I wish you didn't give a little bit better gas mileage with as much driving as I do, but I do not want to own anything smaller than an SUV so gas mileage is something I will have to live with.

I don't like that it is a 2 wheel drive. I can't maneuver well in the snow. That's my only complaint. Love the car otherwise.

Great SUV from an American made car manufacturer.
My 2015 GMC terrain has been fantastic for me. With proper upkeep this car should last me a while. My only complaints are it is not a truck and I am not a fan of the silver color. Otherwise the car handles well, has enough of a giddy up for me and handles well in the snow. It's what I need in a SUV.

2015 terrain good and dependable SUV.
So far no problems with this SUV, it runs great and gets great gas mileage. I would recommend this to others who are looking for a dependable SUV and who wants one that gets good fuel mileage. The one I have does not have a lot of bells and whistles. The only thing negative I can say is it has a blind spot that you have to get used to, so I make sure I use the mirrors.

Wi-Fi available, great gas mileage,
It's a good car. Great on gas, drives good, a lot of space in the back., Drive good and not rough, heated seats, The only thing I don't like, is no air vents in the back seat. Not a lot of room in back seat if someone tall is driving. Great car for a smaller family.

The Terrain is not a comfortable ride. But the price is good.
I like the vehicle for the price. But I dislike because I would like truck instead. Which I am in the process of getting a new truck. The Terrain is just so low when driving on the interstate. One also feels every bump in the road and it is just not comfortable ride.

2015 GMC terrain good review.
I have no problems with the performance or reliability. The vehicle runs well and gets me to where I need to be. However, I do wish the seats were more comfy and the features were updated, but overall not a bad vehicle. I would recommend this vehicle to a car buyer interested in an SUV.

I love my GMC terrain. My favorite car ever owned.
I love my GMC terrain. There is plenty of room for my two kids to sit comfortably in the backseat to take long trips and travel all about. I need lots of trunk space and the back has plenty of room for all my things I need to transport from day to day. I also love the mileage and do not mind filling my gas tank when I need to. The seats are comfortable and the entire layout is perfect for my needs not one complaint.

2015 terrain - great car roomy and economical.
I like that it has OnStar, touch screen for the radio with controls on the steering wheel. Car drives great and has an eco friendly button to save money on gas. It has great speed pick up even when the eco button is on.

GREAT SUV, would highly recommend.
This is in general a great family car. I've been driving this vehicle for a few years and it's been reliable. It's usually good with gas and I haven't had maintenance issues since I got it 3 years ago. It has never broken down nor given me problems. I would definitely recommend this vehicle for a family.

GMC terrain sle. Best small to medium SUV.
I have no issues with this vehicle. The feature I like most is the interior space. Rides and gets decent mileage. The seating is comfortable and neutral in color. Electronics are okay. The hatch opens easily. The vehicle has been service free other than regular maintenance.

Quiet, perfectly sized family small SUV.
I live my terrain. It is big enough for my family of 4, but not too big. We wanted something that we would fit comfortably without feeling like I am driving a bus but also something that sits a little higher than a regular car. It drives very quietly and smooth on the road. Very easy to navigate the digital screen and all buttons. I only wish we had found one with heated seats and a air vent that blows out of the middle console so our kids could get some air blowing directly to them in the back seat. Other than that I absolutely love my car!

I love my GMC. It is equipped with OnStar and a lot of other safety features.
I've had my GMC for almost 2 years now and it's a great mini SUV I am able to comfortably fit myself and my 5 children in it. And I have ample space in the trunk as well. I have driven it as far as Texas, New York, and surrounding areas with no problem.

Great family vehicle with comfortable room for traveling.
The good: I love the way it sits higher than that of a car. It runs and drives smoothly with no problems. The vehicle has spacious room for children. Added space in the back for luggage, groceries, sports equipment. Folding seats for ability to fit bigger items in. OnStar availability. Hands free bluetooth pairing system. Backup camera. . The bad: blind spots in the front on both driver side and passenger side from the angle between the windshield and front windows. It doesn't have 4 wheel drive.

It sucks if not it eco mode.
I like the design of it. My favorite is the dash design. Has a beefy look to it. Good backup camera. All models I believe had them.

Champagne colors is nice, vehicle body is lightweight and does not handle well.
Performance is poor, very reliable, comfort average and features are minimal. Vehicle feels very light weight but I love the style. Vehicle le does not handle well on wet roadways or difficult terradue the light weight body. I love the selection of colors but unhappy with the space in this vehicle.

The heated side view mirrors work amazingly.
I dislike I do not have an auto tailgate and sunroof. I do like the sound system and that the back bench seat moves forward and backward.

Very spacious and nice to drive.
I have had zero issues with my 2015 GMC terrain. I love my SUV! I have a 1 year old son and it provides me with just the right amount of space for his car seat. It always allows additional space for groceries and such. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anybody.

My 2015 GMC terrain summary.
It gets really good gas mileage I just wish it had a little more head and leg room, it handles well I really like the backup camera and the push button hatch open /close and the way my cell phone syncs up with the radio but with that there is a drawback, it turns down the a/c and in the summer in Georgia not fun.
accountCircle Jenny M on February 11, 2021
The little things do matter.
I love the screen size and having a backup camera. The windows have a nice tint to keep sunlight and a lot of heat out. Like being able to check my fuel mileage and tire pressure and oil life all from delivers seat. Also love the cubby holes. Would like to be able to have my windows go up with one pull on button.

Good sound system. Overall good performance.
Problem with the solenoid. I have had to replace it 2 times. Causes my car to not start right at the gas pump. Picks up good. Like the technology. Good sound system. Nice space in the back. I held a door in it one time. Fog lights have fallen out. Overall a decent ride.

It has great trunk space. Very spacious and great on gas.
I own a 2015 GMC terrain. I have not had any major problems. The problems I have had is my battery died and I had a tire blowout. I purchased this vehicle for the space because I was having twins. It is very good on gas and has great speed. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking for a great SUV.

Small concessions, favorite car I have owned.
Does not shift as quickly as I’d like it to. It does however get good mileage and is a comfortable ride. I like having the space in the trunk, even with the back seats up. I have questioned getting a sedan, but love the options having a terrain gives me when it comes to giving rides, moving, traveling, and just general handling. I love my terrain and will be looking into a newer model for my next car.

GMC terrain. All wheel drive. It is perfect for our family.
So far so good. I have had zero issues with my vehicle. I do have to start the truck and wait few minutes before I can use the air conditioning.
accountCircle Charles S on February 2, 2021
Cool and collective, with the right attitude.
The GMC terrain is a really good vehicle. The engine is a little bit underpowered but it is a very quiet vehicle. It has a lot of room on the inside and the gas mileage is all right. The one I have also has heated seats which is nice, it is not the best offroad vehicle as it only has 2 wheel Dr. But I do enjoy it as a family car. Not as many features as the larger suburbans are you cons but still decent for its line. I have been financing this vehicle for around six months and having not any problems. Like I said it is a bit slow.
