It's a very spacious car .
The car is great for a big family with kids. I don't have any special features, but I haven't had any issues with the car since I keep up with the maintenance as scheduled. I bought the car because of the space I needed and it's super comfortable and easy to clean when the kids get things on the seats and easy to take out seat as needed .

Reliable car for large family
My automatic car starter doesn't work. Also my radio goes in and out. It seems to be a problem that people have with these cars. Other than that I have not had any issues with this car and absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend this car for a large family very comfortable

Great for a large family.
I have not encountered any problems with this car myself. But love the leather seats with heaters, that in winter time you can hear them. This vehicle comes with a DVD player in back which is great for the kiddos. Comes with sunroof, and lots of space for a big family like mine.

I really like the spacious inside and 'cool' sophisticated look on the outside.
All of my cars are fords, except for my SUV. I love the GMC Yukon Denali trim specifically. I have not had any major problems that do not have to do with wear and tear on a vehicle. My car is pretty reliable, but I also keep up with the maintenance. I have the mid bucket seats and the comfort works well with our family needs. The only thing is that the back part is not that big for cargo but we have a third seat. Mine has a sunroof and TV which I love the sunroof, but don't really use the TV since the kids are always on their phones.

Amazing, very nice, overall the best.
Absolutely nothing is wrong. Seat warmers, amazing controls, when you're driving your music will automatically turn up and down when you go faster. In love. Nice leather seats, nice sunroof, room for 7 people. A DVD player, multiple areas to charge your electronics.

Keep OnStar and get extended warranty, keep maintenance up and it will last.
Overall my vehicle performance has been top notch. I currently have approximately 292, 000 miles. The warranty to include extended warranty is no longer available on the vehicle, but the OnStar features is somewhat helpful. Major replacements done has included transmission and computer modem on the vehicle, and replacement of engine coils. But with the miles I have on my vehicle and the fact that I put over 400 miles a week, I am impressed. My vehicle is reliable, but I keep up my maintenance on a regular basis. Comfortable, it is off the change. It is a three seater and everyone has their own space with no complaints.

Big enough for everyone to fit comfortably.
I love the drop down dvd player, the leather interior and the captains chairs in the 2nd row. It's big enough that I can go grocery shopping and take all 3 of my kids with, no problem.

Black on black Yukon with leather interior and sunroof.
The Yukon is extremely reliable and a solid vehicle. A family SUV but also very nice looking for a night out on the town. Very spacious, comfortable and not too bad on gas. I love the sunroof and sound system in the Yukon. Although it is a large SUV, it handles well on the road and very easy to drive. I would highly recommend the Yukon XL. I'm quite pleased with it. No performance issues. Thank you!

Think and look into the Vehicle before u buy
Everything is electrical so if one thing stops working everything stops. It is horrible on gas its big for no reason. It's not very spacing. I wish I didn't buy the car. I bought the car used already only had it for almost a year and all the jobs and events are falling off. The inside door handles broke.

GMC Yukon, I love my SUV, totally recommend a Yukon.
I love the Yukon, not bad on gas mileage and just enough space for what I need!! The look is sleek and classy, and GMC always has beautiful interior. I bought mine when it was 2 y/o and always ran great and smooth. Such a luxury ride and great sound system. The only default I have had was the exterior trim on the doors. It looks like the paint almost boiled to the actual trim and rusted. People have told me it is pollen, but whatever I do, it will not go away. Unfortunately there have been a lot of complaints like this and GMC will not recall it since it is just trim.

It has all the comforts you need and come to expect in a vehicle.
It a reliable heavy vehicle that we can use for heavy hauling. It is has a lot of room for the tall people in our family. It sometimes is hard to handle on the road.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Stacy B.

Pros - plenty of room inside, good for hauling 6 adults, captain chairs in back, heated first and second row, lots of options, good view of the road, easy to park, good looking, sturdy, motors last forever.

likeFilled Trina V.

Reliable V8 great warranty package and built for the road/ the con was when I had to replace the computer the system and transmission when the warranty ran out that was quite expensive due to my high mileage, but overall this would be the vehicle type I would purchase again at the right price used.

likeFilled Linda M.

The Car is very dependable. The safety features are good. The rides is comfortable. There is plenty of legroom in the passenger rows. The DVD player can be tuned just so the kids hear it. The seats are comfortable. There is plenty of cargo area when traveling even with six people in the car.

likeFilled Toni P.

I love the comfortableness and room. I love having the third row. I love the back seats come all the way out if I am needing more storage. I think the Yukon is the best vehicle I've owned. I will never buy anything else from now on.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Stacy B.

Fuel consumption, dash cracks easily and it is a known con for all GMC models similar to this. Everyone I have owned has had a cracked dash. They need to address this issue and find a solution to it.

dislikeFilled Trina V.

I do not need all the computerized stuff that comes with it, but if it is part of the package oh well; I have learned you never know you need something until you need especially for safety precautions. Also things get quite expensive when the warranty runs out with this vehicle although how great it is.

dislikeFilled Linda M.

I cannot think of any cons except it takes a lot of money to keep full tank. Also I would probably not get a sun roof again do not really use it. Always the worry of it leaking. Also the driver door drain for water is not very efficient usually have to pull plug after rain because you can hear water.

dislikeFilled Toni P.

I don't really have a lot of cons. I do wish the gas mileage was a little bit better. I travel a lot and I have 3 kids so I needed a bigger vehicle but gas can he expensive. Luckily I live in a smaller town so going into town isn't too bad, but having to travel hurts the pocket book a little.
