V6 Accord Coupe engine power, apple CarPlay, cleanliness

2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe

The car is comfortable, has 2 good sized screens for GPS and information while driving. One of things I dislike is the apple CarPlay, it is not very customizable. Everything I connect my phone to charge, it immediately opens iTunes vs keeping the audio on whatever setting it was last on. Some apps also trigger iTunes to open and immediately start playing. Due to the design of the car, dust always settles on the trunk panel and even when it rains, that one panel just gets dirtier. The rain can not actually hit it and wash off the dust, you need to manually scrub the car to clean the trunk panel. The white accord comes with a dual toned interior, which is quite pleasing to the eye. MPG is decent, better than previous V6 models of Accords. The right side camera is great. Very helpful when changing lanes or turning, helps to decrease some blind spots. Newer cars in general, due to all the new technology, has changed the way engines feel. When pressing the gas pedal, there is a slight delay in power to the car, giving a split second delay in acceleration. Older models of the V6 feel like they have more direct power going into the engine and can accelerate faster.

You will not go wrong with a Honda Accord.

2017 Honda Accord

My Honda Accord is a great vehicle. I drive the ex-l model with leather seats. The exterior is white. The seats are tan. The car floor is black, which allows the floor to appear much cleaner. The car comfortably seats up to 5 people and is great for driving around town or on short trips. I average 29 mpg around town and 34 mpg on longer trips. The Accord is equipped with a spacious trunk that easily accommodates multiple small to medium sized suitcases. It also easily holds 3 sets of golf clubs. The Accord has a peppy 4-cylinder engine which allows for easy passing. The car is equipped with a great sound system and even has a CD player, which is great for someone that still buys and listens to CDs. It also has a sunroof and keyless entry with remote start. The only issue I have had with the Accord is with the rear door locks. They do not always engage when I press the key fob. I am going to get this checked when I take the Accord in for its next service. I have owned Accords in the past, and I believe they are a good value for the price. They also have excellent trade and resale value. Overall, I give my Accord a b+.

My Honda accord goes fast, what does your car do?

2017 Honda Accord EX-L Sedan

I've had the car for over two years now and am thoroughly happy with the performance, reliability and features. The gas mileage was the first thing that really stood out for me - it has an eco setting which I'm sure helps, but it does cause the car to have a bit of a lag. However, you can turn off the eco setting if you want to give the car a bit of a boost in power and if you like even more power you have the option of putting it into sport mode. Any amount of power you choose the ride is extremely smooth. For comfort, I would rate it an 8 based on the heated seats, memory setting for the driver on the seat has two options, power seats for both front seats. I brought down the rating slightly due to the touch screen/carplay feature sometimes freezing on me or not cooperating. To me it is important for everything to work smoothly for the driver to not be distracted from the road. I would love to see the touch screen removed and replaced with buttons.
