The 2017 Honda Accord possesses excellent styling, especially in coupe form, and offers plenty of tech and amenities for a good price. The midsize sedan also holds a perfect overall five-star rating by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are only available on higher trim levels. 2017 was the final year for the Accord coupe. No AWD option is available, power is delivered strictly to the front two whee.s

For a car that’s now half a decade old, the 2017 Accord makes a nice showing with all the necessary features being either standard or optional. In typical Honda fashion, there’s not a lot to worry about when owning an Accord, as problems are few, not that severe, and maintenance tends to run on the low-end.

  • 2017 marks the last year for the ninth-generation Accord, as well as the last year for the coupe model.
  • Two engines are available in the 2017 Accord: a 2.4L inline-four-cylinder and a 3.5L V6.
  • Per the EPA, combined fuel economy for the 2017 Accord is 30 mpg with the 2.4L and 21 for the 3.5L V6.
  • In addition to its five-star NHTSA safety rating, the 2017 Accord also earned a Top Safety Pick+ from the IIHS.
  • 2017 Accord ranks among the highest in its class, going toe-to-toe with favorites like the Toyota Camry and Subaru Legacy.

Don't mistake this sleek simple car for a slow one. I t can go very very fast
I like the sleek look on the vehicle. Nice interior as well as nice sound system. The rims on the tire are a plus.

This is a great quality car. It drives well, gets great gas mileage, and is very responsive.
The vehicle drives very smoothly. It has great responsive steering. I like the way the seats adjust (more options than other cars I tried). The air conditioner is wonderful.

There are not much issues with the performance of the vehicle that I own. The comfortable, good gas mileage, reliability is better than any cars I ever owned. Honda transmissions really not bad.
A faulty airbag warning light is common even with civic models made in later years. The light intermittently flashes on and off for no reason. A faulty occupant position sensor is usually the cause of the problem. Honda was also one of the many automakers affected by the infamous Takata airbag recall.

Saves up on gas and can get you all over the country!
I absolutely love my vehicle it never cause me any trouble besides the tires but that would be my fault. Other than that I never had any problems with my care. You should really consider buying this type of vehicle because you would save on gas and on repairs.

I had my tires rotated and now I hear scrapping or rubbing when I drive. Very frustrating and feel ripped off.

Tires rotated and now they scrap or rub. Noise is annoying. I don't have money to pay for repairs. We should not have to have these problems on a new car.

Honda Accord LX- my biggest debt and regret
The Honda Accord LX feels so basic. The interior looks and feels cheap, the base rims are hideous, and the car has absolutely no features aside from the rear view camera. When driving the engine consistently seems to struggle, and is very slow at take off, when the AC is on the car sounds like it is struggling to perform.
accountCircle Catherine D
Great car as long as the weather permits
The car is visually very appealing. The interior is very spacious and is perfect for my family. Although I enjoy the look and gas mileage of the car, its performance in any conditions other than sunny and dry is HORRIBLE. The car is terrible in snow, rain and sleet. In snowy conditions, even a quarter inch of snow, it is impossible to drive more than 10MPH. When it rains, the car hydroplanes. I would not recommend this car to anyone who lives in the Northeast.

Problem
The automatic climate control does not hold the proper temp. You have to keep adjusting it. Honda will not do anything about it.

Honda dissatisfaction with what they promise and what they deliver.
Does not drive very well and very basic. For the monthly lease payment not a good decision. The service plan is ok but the Honda is basic and for what they are asking I have driven BMWs which handle and are better handling for the same price, and the moment my lease is up I will trade it in and get a better vehicle.

Vehicle gets good mileage, econ mode weakens ac.
Seats are not as comfortable when driving long distance, no heated seats, wish there was a sunroof, no GPS, I wish there was a touch screen, prefer a digital speedometer and a way to check tire pressure, just overall better display of car, kind of gets old looking at the same thing.

Honda 2017 accord sport silver.
I purchased this car because it has great safety features, with a sporty look, great comfort with honda endurance and reliability, I have put over 100,000 miles on it with no major problems, only normal wear and tear.It handles nicely with my only suggestion for improvement being the turning radius.

Hondas = good! Letter requirements for reviews = superfluous!
Handles easily, good on mileage. All in all, a great car. Low front bumper, however, is fragile. Like so many Hondas, the tires you are issued with the vehicle are not top of the line at all. I pride myself on being succinct in my writing: more letters does not equal better information!

In the time I had the car I had no major problems. The car is very reliable and comfortable. The built in GPS is wonderful. The gas mileage is good and the car handles great in snow and ice. I had a Honda for the past 10 years and love the car. I will keep buying Honda cars for years to come.

2017 Honda Accord Sport Special Edition 2.4L I4 Great car, really smooth, fairly efficient, feels like more than 185hp. Fairly large backseat. I'm 6'4" and my 6'1" friend sits behind me comfortably. I drive with a heavy foot and this car is fine. V6 would be lovely but just wasn't in my price range.

Honda accord coupe, worth the buy.
I enjoy that it gets good gas mileage and on long trips it still has a lot of room and is more comfortable than most cars even though it is a coupe. I enjoy the look from the outside and the interior is very nice. The car can Bluetooth to any phone and works rather quickly. The car has made several trips to Arizona and Nevada from California and has not had any problems besides needing the tires changed.

Why to buy a Honda accord.
The Honda accord is a great spacious car. The seats are very comfortable to sit in especially for road trips. This car has a great backup camera and I have never had an issue with it. The Honda accord is a reliable car that drives smoothly. I enjoy using the eco feature when driving around town to save on gas. When I am on the freeway I turn the eco feature off because you have quicker steering without it, which is great for switching lanes on busy freeways. You will feel safe and confident when driving it.

I love my car but sometimes I do wish there was CarPlay added to this car before buying it. Not having it is no big deal but I like to have the GPS on the screen of the car instead of having it on my phone. It is a bigger screen that is why. I am grateful for what I have now. This car is very reliable. To me, it is very comfortable but even after years of driving this car, I am still getting used to parking properly since I previously went from a very tiny car to this. I am not saying I cannot park but sometimes I will have to fix the car to make it straight. You will love this car as much as me if you go from an older car to this.

Since owning this vehicle, I have not encountered any mechanical issues. It has just been routine maintenance since this car is highly reliable. I find it to be very comfortable with the bucket seats it has and even the back has always been comfortable for any adults riding back there. It is not the strongest sedan in terms of horsepower, but it is fuel efficient. On the highway, I average about 29 mpg which I find to be decent for a car with 189 hp. Hondas are actually really great cars. The only issue is the usual car maintenance. Where I live there's loads of construction areas and several times I had to change my tires. The Honda accord sports car drives very smooth. The gas costs $50 and lasts me for about a week. It is also the most spacious car I have owned, including the trunk. It is a good car if you are looking to travel far as well. Overall it is a very reliable car.

It is Extremely gas efficient.
I like the style of my car, it's smaller but enough room for my family. I also like that it is very gas efficient, I fill up probably once a week. The only thing that I dislike is that is very low to the ground, but that's only because I'm use to driving large vehicles.

Aggressive, led, and very accented.
Great space. Quote engine. Love the materials used to build the car. Honda is a great and reliable brand. We buy because of the reliability. The features included outweigh those offered by the competitors. From the outside to the inside design this car is awesome.

Love my Honda Accord hybrid.
I have had no problems with my Honda Accord. I love my hybrid Honda Accord. The only drawback is a small trunk space. I get fantastic gas mileage and it is a blast to drive. I highly recommend this car to all my family and friends. The fact that it is paid for does not hurt.

Honda accord: a perfect family car.
Most of all I like driving my vehicle which is Honda accord 2017 ex-sedan. It has smooth drive and has enough amount of power for everyday use. Brakes in the car are also responsive and they do last for good amount of time before you have to replace them with new ones. Interior of the car is also fine not exceptional but just fine. Stereo of the car is great. You don't have to upgrade it further and you will like how it sounds it does kind of give you a surround sound experience. One of the things that I don't like is that it does not have USB-c inside it. It does comes with the regular USB ports but these days most of the devices we use have USB-c port, so that can be a bummer. Also air conditioning in the car is not very good but works just fine when temp. Outside is not high. It can certainly be a problem during summers.
