Like to travel, hate paying for gas? Buy a Honda, you won't regret it!
2012 Honda Civic Hybrid Base
The Honda Civic is a reliable car with excellent gas mileage. I had to travel an hour to and back from work for five days out of the week. I would still have gas until the week was up; even filling up I only would pay $25 for a full tank. Of course gas prices would changes so would the amount that goes into the car, but you still can't beat 30mpg. I have an older model and had very few problems with maintenance. The worst I had to pay for recently was a new rear end brake pad. I've had the car for 4 years now and that's the worst of maintenance. The only thing that stinks is the car doesn't have four wheel drive, but honestly it drives okay in the snow. If the tires aren't worn/bald and the driver is going at a slow/safe speed the car will get you to your destination. I used to work for a hospital and had to be there no matter how bad the snow storm was and my car always got me there. The inner material of the car is plush covered seats which has it's pros and cons. The leather is nicer but the plush prevents the driver from sitting on a hot/cold seat. The heating and cooling system is great! Only takes a minute to kick in. Overall it is a reliable, safe, and cost efficient vehicle. It is more for a person or a couple, rather than a family.
