Bought this car new. Currently has 142,000 miles. Head gasket just went and hoping no further damage was done. Be aware that this is a know issue that can happen around the 150K mark. Cost is about $2400 if going to a dealer but depends on where you live. My car looks new in and out. She’s been a great car and I have no complaints. I hope The repair keeps her running for a couple more years.

Reliable and low maintenance.
This car works like an appliance. You get in and turn the key. Everything always works. You never doubt that the car will perform all they way to your destination. This car is incredibly cheap and easy to fix. The spark plugs are right on top and accessible. The cam sensors are easily replaced. Air filters are a breeze. This is a car that can easily go 250k or more miles hassle free.

2003 Honda Civic ex sedan.
I drive a 2003 Honda Civic ex sedan. Last year I put a brand new motor in that car and since I have done this it has been running terrifically. The motor was the only problem I have ever had out of the car. It is very comfortable and drives very smoothly. Very good on gas which is convenient because I have a long drive to work everyday. I would very much recoup Honda to anyone looking for their first car it is a great vehicle to start off with because it is very dependable.

The 2003 Honda Civic has stood up for 15 years with few issues.

2003 Civic with 265,000 miles and still running!
My car has been very reliable, currently still running with 265,000 miles. However, during ownership, most often it is a number of small things that add up to large bills; exhaust replaced multiple times, brakes, tires and alignments (all standard), but then the timing belt, head gasket, air conditioning compressor and multiple alternator replacements have proven very costly. Honda's typically have the most reliable longevity, and most parts can be replaced easily and with aftermarket parts, however when a Honda reaches it is end, it let's you know.

2003 Honda Civic in ok condition.
Well being it is an older model 2003 Honda Civic the upkeep and maintenance for this vehicle is a bit pricey. There is always something wrong with it I have all but exceeded the original price for the vehicle being that I am not able to get a newer vehicle at this time unfortunately I have to keep this car in a reasonable condition.

2003 Honda Civic Comfort Review
I bought my car at 15 (currently 23) and have absolutely loved it up until Fall of 2018. However, since then there are constant issues. Including a broken driver's side door, constant overheating (even after fixing the radiator + several other issues).The car is just old and not as comfortable or reliable as some of my friends' newer card. I have no way to play music from my phone which is also an inconvenience.

It is been reliable, the perfect size and has lasted a long time. It is an older model, so the electronic are very outdated and the paint is going. One of the features is a sunroof, which is really nice when it is warm out. The radio went haywire after a while and wasn't easy to replace.

Changing parts is easy no need to pay an expensive mechanic anyone can do it.
My Vehicle is very reliable, I have had it for 3 years paid cash! Minor problems that I fix myself alternator, radiator fan, brakes, oil changes, thermostat, fuses, speakers, adding touch screen, etc. All parts are cheap and easy to access yourself no need for a shop. A/c still works like a charm and the car is over 10 years old. Drives amazingly.

Honda 2003 Civic runs on magic, Honda made to last.
Honda is a great car that is build to last for a long time. My boyfriend has had our current car for over 7 years, and it was bought used with 100k miles on it. He has put 150k miles on it since buying it, and the car has lasted a long time through regular maintenance and care. The care is comfortable, compact, and has an extremely long shelf life.

It has been a very good car for us, and the hybrid system is reliable.
I like saving money on gas by driving a hybrid. The car has been reliable and comfortable to drive, and it is much quieter than our previous car. It does bother me that the miles-per-gallon on the display reads about 10% too high, and there is a rattle in the dashboard. But I hope to keep driving this car for at least another five years.

My car has been very reliable, but recently failed its emissions test. It still runs, but the engine makes strange noises. It has over 160, 000 miles on it, and I know it could last even longer. Although it does not look as nice as it used to look, it still gets me from point A to point B effectively and efficiently.

In summary, my Honda Civic looks nice and runs well.
Its old, so has some cosmetic issues: paint chips, scratches, etc.. Slightly noisy but runs well and reliably. I have only had it for a year and have really enjoyed driving it as well as fixing the car up and making it look nice. Hondas are known for reliability as long as you take care of them. There are very few problems with my car. It is an older car so the automatic transmission timing is not as up to speed as I would like it to be. Also, being a 4-cylinder, it is acceleration is a bit slower than what I would like. It also does not come with an aux cord. Other than that, I love this car in every way!

Honda Civic - Great, Reliable Car!
Very reliable car, has needed little no maintenance besides regular oil changes and yearly inspections. Love the passenger side camera, helps see around blind spots when switching lanes. Backseat is spacious for a compact car and the trunk holds more than expected. Handles well in the city and on the highway but the engine does tend to rev higher than expected when having to speed up quickly, usually when needing to merge onto a highway.

It is an old car and has one wheel out the door.
The brakes concern me even after replacement. The car is not as spacious as it could be, the design is poor, I wish there was more space between the two seats up front as well as for the console to store more. It does not do well on hills and feels generally unsafe in any inclement weather. This may be due to the sheer age of the car but I think there is much room for improvement

Sage green Honda Civic with beat up bumpers
Being that my car is a bit older the air doesn't work properly, and the paint has started to peel. I purchased the car off an elderly woman a year ago, and at the time it only had 40,000 miles on it. Aside from the exterior and the air it is running perfectly. I intend to drive it until it dies. A real plus is that it is pretty cheap to fill up. I have never paid more than $30 to fill up the tank. It may not be much to look at, but my next car will hopefully be a Honda as well.

Great car
The absolute best and most reliable car you could ever own. Got it from my dad and stepmom with only 110k miles on it. I only got it to 121k before a rod threw and went through the block because the oil burnt up cause of Take5, but it still lasted for about 2,000 miles after recommended oil change. It could still run even with a hole in it.

Civic: car that can withstand the test of time.
It is a fairly old car, but it is durable. I have had a number of repairs done and it has accumulated over 181, 000 miles. Some exterior damage was sustained to the rear and front, but overall it is served it is purpose. One thing that I do like about the car is it is handling is still in good condition and I haven't had to replace or repair the suspension.

Do not buy old Hondas, unless you are prepared to replace all the locks, and they are not cheap.
I love everything about my Honda, except one thing. Honda made a huge mistake with their locking system and I'm outraged that they refuse to fix it. The bearings in the locks wear out and owners are forced to spend thousands to replace them. While the problem is manifesting itself, they get stranded because the key will not enter the ignition. The dealership acts like it never saw such a thing before, but a simple Google search exposes the problem. Honda should take responsibility for these defective locks.

Gas mileage is great as my car is stick shift. It has great space and is compact and thus is super versatile. It does have manual windows which can be a pain but the material of the seats makes it very comfortable especially in hot weather. It does lack power when going uphill but for city use is amazing.

Pearls Survival in New England.
I own a Honda Civic 2003. It does not take a lot of gas and for being 15 years old it has not had many problems. Living in New England the regular check up and changes required ie breaks,tire and tire rods are for the most part the only expenses I've had needed to make. Besides the alternator that recently went it was 15 yrs old as well so it was due for a change. She's reliable and safe.

Honda civic ex previous car issues.
The em2 civics, are very finicky. Everything needs to be in 100% tip top shape for the vehicle to run properly. The car needed a new head gasket, timing belt, water pump, valves and valve seals. It also needed a whole new exhaust which totally just fell apart. I will say though, even with all the problems it has given me, I always made it home safely. Hondas are a very reliable car even with the issues it has had, every car eventually has problems no matter what kind it is.

The Honda civic had tremendous handling and maneuverability
The car runs very well, and I was able to buy it used for only 4000$. In the two years that I owned it, I never had any issues with either the engine or the functionality of the car. It ended up breaking down while returning from Thanksgiving in the mountains, although that was likely from my negligence in keeping the oil level full.

Fun light car manual driving good mileage.
The Honda is light, fun to drive! It is a manual which is very enjoyable. Mileage is pretty good but it burns a lot of oil, which is not extremely environmentally friendly. Getting in the back seats is not the easiest but once you are set, it feel fairly spacious. Fun reliable car overall.

My car is a late model, I would really like a up to date vehicle, it has great performance, but I have many repair problems, it's good on gas it really rides nicely, it's a stick shift, I enjoy the feeling of the way it drives. I wish it was a different color.

They should know that it is a low emission vehicle and that is good for the environment
I like that it gets good gas mileage and that it is compact and easy to park. I dislike that the battery acts up because it is an early model hybrid.

The amazing 03' Honda Civic.
Great car, good gas mileage, not bad in the snow. Reliable, comfortable, sunroof, drives smooth, performance is fantastic, radio, power windows and locks, small back seat, good size trunk, power side mirrors, ability to dim dash lights, trunk can be locked from inside vehicle.
