Honda Civic EX was my first car and I still have it

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

This car is 12 years old and I have no serious issues with it. I have had to keep up standard care, but that has been it. There have been times where the weather will heat up or cool down a little too quickly and the car will have a little bit of a hard time starting up, however, it has never not started. I can always rely on the car starting. Even when the battery died a few years back, it was able to start up enough for me to get to an auto store. The car is comfortable for one or two people. I am usually the only one in it and I feel like it the perfect size for me, not too big or too small. I like the fabric of the seats as well. It is not the car for groups of people. The back seats are a little cramped. Since it is an older car, the tech isn't as fancy, but there is tech! The screen has navigation and a digital clock display as well as touch screen for certain buttons. I like the level of tech because it's not too much, but the car doesn't have a huge outdated feel.

My 2007 Honda Civic EX sedan looks black until you see it next to a black car

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

I bought my car used from a family member who had bought it new and took very good care of it. The car is in great condition, save for surface scratches in the paint from daily use (scraping on curbs when parking, mostly). I only have 3 minor complaints: 1) the seat adjustment is not automated which makes it dangerous to adjust while driving, therefore all around inconvenient. 2) my (digital) speedometer and radio screens are too dim for very bright days, making them difficult to read. 3) the driver seat is not very comfortable. Otherwise, the car is reliable, runs well, gets good gas mileage, and generally suits my needs to a T. I give it a 9.9/10!

The best thing about the car is it's size, gas, and the inside is amazing!

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

The inside of the car is amazing! Touch screen, Bluetooth, AUX, and iPod connector. Very spacious and does great on gas. It even comes with the 'eco' feature The car is also very economical and inexpensive. It will get filled with about $40-$50 of gas. Another thing I love about this car is that it is very updated for an older car. The lights on the dashboard and Bluetooth are my favorite things about the car. It is a very reliable car and I would always say that I never wanted a Honda but now I do not plan on getting rid of my car

200 thousand miles and it drives like 50 thousand.

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

Driving my Honda civic is comfortable even for long distances. It gets great gas mileage and rarely needs repairs. Keep up with oil changes and it will be good to you. The air conditioner compressor stopped working last year (car age=11). There is also an electrical issue with the door locks; I have to manually lock the driver's door for any of the other doors to lock (buttons will only lock that specific door). Other than that, no major issues and I will definitely buy another Honda whenever this one finally calls it quits.

Good gas mileage, low maintenance.

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

I love this car! It is the most reliable car I have driven. It gets great gas mileage both on and off highways and interstates. Although it looks small, it can store a lot of things. I moved to and from college multiple times with just the civic. The car has not required much maintenance other than routine oil changes, brake pads, tire changes, and other normal upkeep. When I buy another car, it will most likely be another civic.

12 year old Honda civic still going strong!

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

I absolutely love my 2007 Honda civic. To be honest, I can't really say anything bad about Hondas...My parents have had them, now I have them, my fiance got one. My car is pushing 12 years old and I just started putting a little more into it than the normal routine maintenance, but not by much at all. I have taken great care of my car, and Honda is great! I would recommend a Honda any day!

Reliable Honda, budget friendly

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

Besides the recalled paint chipping, this manual transmission vehicle is great on gas and does awesome on the road. It is perfect for a single Mom budget and provides a non headache repair bill ! Since the vehicle has been in my possession I have not experienced any major repairs besides normal wear and tear, consistent oil changes and refurbishing the air conditioning unit.

My journey with a Honda civic.

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

I really like my car the only thing I have had to replace on this car in the 12 years are normal things like brake pads and a couple batteries. The only odd thing was a blower motor but it wasn't expensive. The car drives great and it gets incredible gas mileage. I feel like I could drive this car forever but if I ever do need a new car I will once again look at Honda civic.

The good and bad of a foreign car.

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

The civic is a mostly reliable car. It gets from point a to point b without any issues. Whether you drive in the city, country or on the freeway it is responsive and easy to handle. The biggest issue I have with the vehicle is the maintenance cost. Parts are a hassle and labor is astronomical, even on the most routine of services and replacements..

A reliable, wonderful car to drive.

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

Overall it is a wonderful car, the only complaint I have is the window seals on the front windows have not lasted well, but could probably be easily replaced. Same goes for the windshield seals, they peeled away, but are not bad to replace. The car drives great, gets great gas mileage, and the sunroof is great to have. A very reliable car.

Honda civic is great for the city, not the country.

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

My Honda civic is very reliable and gets great gas mileage. However I do not feel safe driving in bad weather such as wind, rain, snow, and ice. It is front wheel drive which does not have much control. A great car for someone who lives in the city and does not have long distances to drive, not so great for country living.

Great gas mileage on my civic.

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

Only real problem I have had with my car was with my starter going out and my brake pads. My tires lasted a long time and pretty much everything else is perfect! It is a great car. I have had three cars total and I'd say that it is my favorite. What I love most about it though is the gas mileage, it gets great gas mileage.

I love my little Honda civic.

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

I have had my Honda for 11 and 1/2 years. I haven't had any mechanical problems with it and I have thoroughly enjoyed my little car. It has been on its share of long trips as well as a regular around town car. Great gas mileage and handling. I am so glad I purchased a Honda civic.

Sleek. Good mpg. Good body lines

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

Car has been great. Very reliable. Cheap to fix with any issues. Standard maintenance is also very reasonable. No outstanding issues. Good resale value. High mileage and still seeing no real signs of slowing down or issue. Paint quality is good. Interior holds up well

- Josh S

Very reliable and resilient to things going wrong

2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan

Highly reliable, a bit small however good for a city vehicle. Only routine maintenance needed on it that I personally have found, no complaints about this vehicle. Have it up to almost 300 thousand miles and no major fixes have needed to be done. Definitely recommend
