Had at least one expensive major repair every year since it hit 75,000 miles. Painful to get in and out and hard to see out of with the deep dashboard and massive pillars. It feels big and clunky and cheap. Excellent acceleration is its sole strong point. All the repair people have told me this was a bad model/year. I'm surprised at all the positive ratings.

2008 Honda Civic hatchback.
Reliable and comfortable car, very easy to drive and was the first car I learned manual in. Very smooth ride. Haven't had to replace much on mine, I've had it for about 3 years and have only needed to buy a new knock sensor. Roomy interior with nice trunk/hatch space.

The speedometer is digital.
Good gas mileage, very low to the ground, weather stripping no around windows is falling off. There is no good way to play music from a device other than CD. The sunroof is nice. Reliable car if maintained properly. The paint is still keeping okay. Not good for transporting anything large.

My vehicle is a small silver car. It has a good heating and ac.
It is a great car minus the fact it has a small gas tank. I have to stop an extra time to fill up my tank compared to one of a bigger tank. If you do not have to drive long distance it is great. Usually if I do not have to travel my tank last 2 weeks and it is super reliable car as well.

Great reliable car nice and clean from inside and out.
I have no vehicle problems it runs great. Only thing I have ever done to it is the normal stuff like oil change and change breaks. I wouldn't trade the car I recommend people to buy Honda cars they're great reason why I drive it more than my explorer and Toyota.

The car drives like a go kart. It is super easy to turn with it.
Comfortable for sure got a dent by my headlight though. Heat and radio work great never had a problem. First car that I used to teach myself to drive and going to keep sticking to it until it eventually breaks down one of these years. Overall, great car for a great price very affordable and drives like a go kart.

I love my standard shift Honda!
My car has had 1 recall for the airbag which Honda replaced for free. Other than that it has had only normal wear and tear for the year of the vehicle. I love Honda they are a great car company. As long as you take care of the car and give it oil changes the engine will outlast the body. It's a standard car which I love to drive it's fun! I live in the north east and it's great in the snow it's low to the ground and handles great.

Great used first car for safe driver.
I love it so much only problems is I had to buy a new battery and this is used. I have to buy a new door lock witch is $800 at Honda. So be careful and don't buy used.

It is my transportation, so I take care of it so it will take care of me. The oil change is the most important. The only deficit is the air conditioner tends to be troublesome. I just had it completely cleaned and repaired cost me $264. But all worth it in this heat.

I bought it used. It great little car. Good on gas. My brakes wear down easy that's the only thing I am not happy about it. It fits 4 comfy. Good back seat can fit 2 car seats easy. The back window motor isn't the best. I had to replace twice. Good ac and heater. Good highway mile gas.

Honda Civic that never quits
My car has had almost no mechanical problems. It drives so well for an 11 year old card. It's starting to have some cosmetic issues but I couldn't ask for a more reliable car. I have driven to California from Utah and back at least 10 times and it has never let me down. It has amazing gas mileage. I never pay more than 30 bucks for an entire tank of gas and it lasts for a long time.

How well the car drives and runs.
It rides so low that the bumper is always scraping the ground or parking space cement stoppers. Because of this, the bumper now keeps coming completely off. Also, this car has the worst sight lines and blind spots.

The engine. It's pretty spacious were the engine is located.
Front bumper over time will unclip break off from the side of the fenders.. Other than that it's a good car as long as you change the oil keep up with daily maintenance. It has good gas mileage on the freeway and city. Hondas are pretty reliable cars I recommend it.

It is a high performance and durable car. Some time I feel that old car is better than new because its parts are better in a way that allows you to use it for longer. New car seems to make you want to replace your car faster.
It is a small but high performance car. Even though it is a little old, it is still working in a way that allows me to do short travels. If it continues to operate, I do not think that I will replace it with another vehicles. It is worthwhile for the money that I spend to buy this car.

Preforms really well and easy to fix.
Still going strong with 400,000 miles on it and drives just as good as when it was brand new. Needs some repairs being 8 years old but it is cheap and easy to fix. Wouldn't want any other car. Worth every penny and still works great for the price I paid.

Good compact car, not much space.
I does not have much space; our infant car seat barely fits in the back, and our folded stroller barely fits in the trunk. The paint on the top of the car has corroded-- it has big red patches. We do love the vehicle's gas mileage, and it is a comfortable drive for both me, 5'3", and my husband, 6'.

2008 Honda civic. Good performance. Drives well but has some issues.
It sits really low on the ground. It performs fine but it bottoms out when going on some driveways. I like how it drives, but sometimes you do not feel how fast you are going. I like my silver vehicle, it is comfortable. As I have been driving it for a long time the steering wheel has started chipping and some of the interior is coming off.

Don’t buy this car! I have a 2008 Honda Civic and now it’s broken down with only 140000 miles on it so now I have to get a new car. The recalls include airbags, paint, engine block and sun visors. American Honda won’t help you out

Comfortable size inside and out.
The size provides a lot of comfort due to being able to park it easily. As of now, the only issue I am currently having is a cracked windshield, which happened last winter and continued to grow over time. Other than that, the car is very reliable, comfortable, and performs well.

Very reliable vehicle if well maintained.
This car is great until the hybrid battery has to be replaced. Thankfully it was under warranty for me. The battery is expensive and takes up a lot of the trunk space. Also I think they cut corners to get it to weigh less to make up for the weight of the battery. I have not had to have a lot of other work done. Just the usual maintenance that is required on all cars. All and all it's been a reliable vehicle.

Honda civic seemed affordable but was a lemon.
The brakes wear out too quickly. They have been replaced twice already and mileage is less than 130,000. The air conditioning does not blow cold air. The front passenger window is not operational. Visors are defective. Airbag was recalled along with visors.

Reliable with cosmetic and ergonomic cons.
My Honda is comfortable. No major issues as far as reliability. The cons that I have noticed are the paint, window shape, and seat belt placement. The clear coat is peeling and taking the color paint with it. The window is long and goes into the back seat area causing a whirlwind in the car when driving with the windows down. You have to reach back 1/4 way to the back seat to grab the seatbelt.

The dependable, safe 2008 civic.
The 2008 Honda civic is a very reliable car. I trust this car to take me anywhere at all times. I have owned it for two years and I haven't had any problems with it at all. It was bought with 70000 miles on it and now has 110000 miles on it. I do a 1000 mile road trip about 2-3 times a year to my hometown as well as daily driving. The comfort from this car is amazing as well as the dependability. I am a valet and drive probably 20 different types of cars a shift and I rank my car pretty high among most cars on the road.

It is a great and reliable car. Smooth to ride. Very easy to maintain. Great on gas. Great space in trunk and back seat. My model has a digital speedometer which I really love. As long as you take care of oil changes and routine tire and engine check ups, your Civic will last you fifteen plus years easily without any major problems.

Honda civic- will live longer than you.
My Honda civic has over 180k miles and has had no real issues except one which was covered under warranty even though I had over 100k miles. The dashboard has cracked over time from the heat of Southern California but no other issues in the car. With regular maintenance, this car is going to last me well over 200k and once it is gone, I will purchase another Honda civic. I do not have a clear coat paint failure but my last Honda did which caused the paint to fade and rust over time.

Small dependable car with a sporty look.
I love the Honda Civic in that it is great on gas, rides great, is dependable and has a cute sporty look to it. The only downside to the Civic is leg room when someone tall is a passenger. I am petite so no problems for me. My Civic is ten years old and still rides tight and haven't really had to do much maintenance on it other than oil change, tires, etc.

The greatest little Honda ever made.
